In order to use the Chat feature on Harpazo Forum, you must first Register. Registration is easy!
To Register:
Click on the Register link up near the top of the Forums main page. You'll be taken to a registration form. Pick out a username and password. Fill out the rest of the form by answering the 3 questions and the Captcha. When finished, click the Create Account button.
Next, check your email. You should have a message from Proboards there. If you don't, please check your junkmail folder. You need that email to activate your account. Once you've found the email, open it and click the 'Click here to activate!' link in the message. You'll be taken to the login page. Login and voila! You now have full access to all the cool features of Harpazo Forum, including Skins to personalize your experience, Private Messaging, posting, the ability to view all topics, and of course the Chat feature.
In order to take advantage of the Chat feature in the Forum, Click the Chat icon. It's found near the top of the forums main page. Once you've done that, you may be prompted to download and install the most recent version of Java. Go ahead and follow the instructions for doing so. Then login to the Chat Room. You're now ready to participate in the scheduled Chat Sessions offered here.
The Chat feature is available to use anytime, not just during a scheduled Chat Session. If you'd like to chat with another member who is online, send them a private message and ask them to join you in the Chat Room. It's simple, and fun! Try it!

It's come to my attention that Google Chrome browser has different instructions to get into the chatroom. So hopefully, this will help those who are still having problems logging on to the chat. The Chat function is run by Java, so you'll need to make sure you have the most current Java installed. Click on the Chat Icon. You should be taken to the chat login page. If your Java is current you will see the Chat Login. Go ahead and enter your username to enter the Chat Room. 1. If you do not have the most recent Java installed, you will see a gray box which says something like 'Java is out dated' when you move your cursor over it. There will be a yellow bar across the top of the screen that has a button to download the latest version of Java. Do that and then skip to #5. (If there is no yellow bar, follow all the instructions remaining.) 2. If you don't see the gray box, and you don't see the chat login, you will need to first uninstall Java and then download and install Java from the following link... 3. www.java.com/en/download/4. Sounds complicated, but it's really not. To uninstall Java, click START, (lower left of your screen) Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. In the list that appears, find Java and click Uninstall. Your computer should do this automatically at that point. Then follow the link above and the instructions for downloading and installing Java. 5. Once that's done, Reload the Chat Login page by Right clicking your mouse and selecting Reload. 6. Now at the top of the screen Google Chrome will display a yellow bar which says you still need a Plugin to run Java. Click to Install the Plugin. Once that is accomplished, you should be able to Login to the Chat Room. Still need help? Send me a message or post a comment here, and I'll try my best to help you.

Yeah, but Google/Chrome is the worst! They gather and keep records and regularly submit them.

It's the ones that don't tell you what they're doing we should worry about. Google is the shiny object distracting us from looking at what the other browsers are doing. I use Firefox for some things too, like playing JigZone while I listen to radio shows. I can make the puzzles bigger with Firefox easier than the other browsers. ;D
