Trump Reacts to Tucker Carlson Releasing January 6 Footage: ‘Free at Last’

Former President Donald Trump reacted to Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson releasing new and unseen footage from the Capitol Hill riot that unfolded on January 6, 2021, which appears to portray a different picture than the one that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) painted.



Throughout Tucker Carlson’s segment on Monday, footage showed scenes that ran contrary to some of the narratives put forth by the likes of former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and the January 6 committee by claiming that rioters had participated in an “insurrection.” One particularly jarring piece of footage actually appeared to show Jacob Chansley, a.k.a. the “Qanon Shaman,” being calmly escorted through the Capitol by police officers. As Breitbart News reported:



On Monday, during the broadcast of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson aired and discussed some of the footage from the Capitol on January 6, 2021 that he received from House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).



One portion of the footage from the Capitol that Carlson discussed touched on the timing of and cause of U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick’s death. Carlson said the footage shows Sicknick was alive after he was allegedly killed by people at the Capitol and the footage was viewed by members of the January 6 Committee, who refused to release it to the public.



In 2021, the D.C. Medical Examiner’s office concluded that Officer Sicnick’s death was due to natural causes, a finding the U.S. Capitol Police accepted.



Another portion of the footage showed the movements inside the Capitol on January 6 of various people who entered the building — most notably the so-called “QAnon Shaman,” Jacob Chansley. Carlson said that while some of the people who entered the Capitol were “hooligans” and committed vandalism, others inside the Capitol aren’t that day were not and respected the building. In some of the security footage aired by Carlson, Chansley is seen walking near police in the Capitol building unobstructed.

Former President Donald Trump celebrated the segment, calling it one of the biggest “scoops” in U.S. history while demanding that the January 6 protesters be released.



“The Unselect Committee was a giant SCAM, and has now unequivocally been stamped as CRIMINAL FABRICATORS OF THIS MOST IMPORTANT DAY,” Trump posted on his Truth Social account. “Pelosi & McConnell failed on security. The Police story is sad and difficult to watch. ‘Trump’ and most others are totally innocent, LET THEM GO FREE, NOW!”



The former president also congratulated Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (CA) for releasing the footage to Tucker Carlson.



“A whole new, and completely opposite, picture has now been indelibly painted. The Unselect Committee LIED, and should be prosecuted for their actions. Nancy & Mitch were a disaster on Security. Thank you Kevin and Tucker. FREE AT LAST!!!” he said.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday said it was a “mistake” for Fox News host Tucker Carlson to show January 6 footage that the government fought to keep hidden.



Tucker Carlson Monday evening released never-before-seen January 6 footage showing police escorting peaceful protestors through the Capitol.



The newly released videos destroyed the sham January 6 Committee’s narrative.

Toxic RINO Mitch McConnell was asked if it was a “mistake” for Tucker Carlson to release the January 6 footage.



Mitch McConnell lashed out at Speaker McCarthy for giving Tucker Carlson access to the footage.



McConnell also said it was a “mistake” for Tucker Carlson to show the footage.



“It was a mistake in my view for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks,” McConnell said.



American reporters are now being attacked for daring to show the American public what actually happened on January 6.

Chuck Schumer Sets Preconditions to Go on With Tucker Carlson – Demands Tucker Be Stopped

As reported earlier by Cullen Linbarger – Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) threw a huge temper tantrum on the Senate floor Tuesday.



Earlier this month Chuck Schumer demanded Rupert Murdoch silence Tucker Carlson and other Fox News hosts over the January 6 protests.



Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries sent Rupert Murdoch a letter demanding he censor Fox News hosts.



Thankfully, Fox News did not listen because Tucker Carlson immediately exposed how many of the narratives propagated by the January 6 commission, Democrats, and their propaganda media, were vicious lies.


Among these lies were Brian Sicknick being murdered by protesters, (Tucker showed he was unharmed), Jacob Chansley aka “The Qanon Shaman” committing sedition (he marched peacefully throughout the Capitol), and Ray Epps being a patriotic whistleblower (he perjured himself before the committee.)



Facts do not matter to Schumer, however. He repeated many of these lies, angrily demanded Fox News censor Tucker again, and accused Speaker Kevin McCarthy of treason after giving Tucker the tapes.



Schumer made the remarks on the floor of the US Senate. It was quite remarkable. Democrats no longer fear being exposed as tyrannical, power-hungry elitists determined to obtain total control of the American public.



But Schumer was not done. The Senate Leader later tweeted out demands on Tucker Carlson and FOX News Channel.

Schumer whines that Tucker hates America for airing video of what really happened on January 6.

And Chuck Schumer puts preconditions for appearing with Tucker Carlson.

Following Tucker Carlson’s broadcast on Fox News Monday night, where he unveiled never-before-seen surveillance footage of the staged riot at the US Capitol, exposing alleged lies by Nancy Pelosi’s House Select Committee, numerous Democrats, and political pundits, Trump called for the immediate release of the individuals detained in connection to the event, The Post Millennial reported.



Trump posted to his social media platform Truth Social: “Congratulations to Tucker Carlson on one of the biggest ‘scoops’ as a reporter in US history. The new surveillance footage of the January 6th events sheds an entirely different light on what actually happened.”



“The Unselect Committee was a giant SCAM and has now unequivocally been stamped as CRIMINAL FABRICATORS OF THIS MOST IMPORTANT DAY,” Trump added. “Pelosi and McConnell failed on security. Last month, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) provided Tucker Carlson with some 44,000 hours of security camera footage from the Capitol Building that had not been made public for over two years. Carlson used the footage to assert that politicians and the media had been “lying” about the events of January 6.



During Monday night’s broadcast, Carlson aired the footage, which depicted Trump supporters peacefully wandering the Capitol and forming lines. He went on to refer to them as “sightseers.”

“If there’s one takeaway from the corpus of footage that we spent three weeks looking at, it’s that the January 6th committee lied,” Tucker said on his program, according to Becker News. “Its members are liars, and as the result of those lies, core civil liberties in this country were eroded, people went to prison. They’re in prison as of right now, unjustly. So those lies had consequences.



“So you have to ask yourself, whatever happened to the members of the January 6th committee, these liars who hurt people and the country?” he added. “Well, let’s see, Adam Schiff is running for Senate. Adam Kinzinger got a job at CNN. Liz Cheney somehow wound up a professor at the University of Virginia, the august University of Virginia. They’re all still there. Benny Thompson. Ooh, listen to his wisdom. But they’re liars, and above all, this video proves it. Here’s another installment.



“One of the enduring mysteries of January 6th is the role that intelligence and law enforcement agencies played in the events of that day,” Tucker continued. “We know there was some number of undercover federal agents in the crowd at the Capitol. Officials have since admitted that under oath. But what exactly were they doing there? The January 6th committee worked hard to hide the answer to that question.”



He added: “The point of the January 6th committee was never to investigate anything. The point was to stage a made-for-TV show trial. From the opening moments, the tone of the hearings was almost comically overheated and polemical. There is not a tragedy in American history that Democrats didn’t liken to the protests of January 6th.”

Tucker Carlson Reveals Precisely How He Discovered the J6 Committee Members Were Lying (VIDEO)

Tucker Carlson on his show Monday immediately exposed how many of the narratives propagated by the January 6 commission were vicious lies.

Tucker: Well, that was the stunning part to me. I’ve been in Washington, DC my whole life…so I kind of had a root level trust in government. The whole thing can’t be fraudulent because I know the people who worked there…



So I was shocked to learn they were lying intentionally. We have a very specific way of knowing that. When J6 Committee researchers looked at video they bookmarked it, an electronic mark on the video they watched so we know what they watched.



So there is video Chansley (QANON Shamam), Ray Epps, and Brian Sicknick that we know they watched that was not included in the (Jan.6) report, never mentioned in the hearings…This video which overturns the story they were telling, they saw but hid… that just blew my mind.



Tucker then reveals one more piece of information: not one media person in the world has asked for the Jan. 6 tapes in his possession.



Glenn Beck became the first today.

Beck: Can I get access to those (tapes)?



Tucker: As far as I’m concerned you can have access to whatever you want! I personally think everyone should have access to them. I will put you in touch with the producer who is dealing with the Speaker’s office.



Beck: So nobody from any news department contacted you and said hey Tucker what are you seeing, what have you got?



Tucker: Not ONE working journalist has texted me directly and everybody in the world has my text number including the UPS delivery driver.

Capitol Police Chief Shares Chilling Update After Tucker Airs Jan. 6 Footage

‘Panic in DC’ is a rebellious hashtag that has been trending on Twitter on and off since Monday’s airing of Tucker Carlson’s show.



On Monday, Carlson highlighted some previously unseen footage from Capitol Police cams from January 6th, 2021.



The naughty hashtag has videos and memes showing various Republicans in DC freaking out over Carlson’s show and over the fact that America now knows that our civil servants have lied about what really happened on that cold-cold day in the nation’s capital.



Carlson had shown footage of two separate events from the 6th of January on Monday, which completely upended the official government story about unfolding.



One group of Republican Senators, including lying Thom Tillis, reacted to a question about Carlson’s program and called the broadcast something nasty:

Tillis, who faced many censures movements by his home-state Republican Party, the NCGOP, was hurt and upset that Americans saw what he wanted to keep lying about.



And it is not just the RINOS in DC who are freaking out and decaying the transparency the American people have been shown by way of airing footage that was denied to them before.

The chief of the U.S. Capitol Police issued a memo to his staff on Tuesday following the airing of previously unseen security footage by Fox News host Tucker Carlson which showed police officers appearing to stand passively as a large crowd entered the Capitol on January 6.



Police Chief Tom Manger condemned the comments made during the airing of the footage on Carlson’s Monday night program, stating that it was “filled with offensive and misleading conclusions” about the riot of January 6, 2021, when a group of people breached the U.S. Capitol building, causing disruptions to lawmakers who were in the process of certifying President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.



“The program conveniently cherry-picked from the calmer moments of our 41,000 hours of video,” Manger claimed. “The commentary fails to provide context about the chaos and violence that happened before or during these less tense moments.”



Manger specifically objected to a segment that featured Capitol Police officers guiding Jacob Chansley, also known as the “QAnon Shaman,” through the Capitol building and Carlson’s portrayal of them as “tour guides.”

He also expressed concern about Carlson’s emphasis on Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who a medical examiner found had died of natural causes after suffering a stroke a day after the January 6 incident while protecting the Capitol, the Daily Wire reported.



The New York Times initially reported on January 8 that Sicknick was killed by a rioter wielding a fire extinguisher during the riot. However, the paper retracted the story five weeks later after the D.C. medical examiner stated that Sicknick had died of natural causes a day after the event. Other outlets also erroneously reported that Sicknick was beaten to death.



Video of Sicknick appearing to lead people out of the Capitol building after “he was supposedly murdered outside overturns the single-most powerful and politically useful lie the Democrats have told us about January 6,” Carlson noted.



Manger noted that Capitol Police “maintains, as anyone with common sense would, that had Officer Sicknick not fought valiantly for hours on the day he was violently assaulted, Officer Sicknick would not have died the next day.”



In his memo, Manger thanked and praised members of the Capitol Police force, commending their efforts on January 6. “You fought like hell on January 6 and risked your lives to protect the Constitution and everything this country stands for,” he wrote. “You, along with our law enforcement partners, saved every member of Congress and their staff.”



It’s unclear if Manger has been asked to appear on Carlson’s program to tell his side of the story, although the Fox News host regularly invites officials who disagree with him onto the show.



Also, there is an argument to be made that the First Amendment was created by the founders to serve as a check and balance on government entities at all levels. In that vein and in Carlson’s defense, he played video clips from the day of the incident which appeared to run counter to the official narratives established by both parties and Capitol Police officials in the aftermath.



Carlson was provided access to some 40,000 hours of previously unseen surveillance video by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Ky.), a move that was criticized by Democrats and some Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.



“It was a mistake in my view for Fox News to depict this in a way that is completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks,” McConnell said on Tuesday, according to USA Today.



For his part, Carlson made clear during his Monday broadcast that he believes officials and politicians lied to the American people about what actually took place at the Capitol that day.

Biden’s White House Lashes Out over Jan 6 Tapes, Claims Tucker Carlson Is ‘Not Credible’

Democrat President Joe Biden’s White House has responded to Tucker Carlson’s explosive Jan. 6 Tapes reporting by trying to smear the Fox News star as “not credible.”

As Slay News has been reporting, the Democrats and corporate media have been melting down after Carlson showed the American people unedited security footage from the U.S. Capitol that was filmed on January 6, 2021.



The never-before-seen footage proves that the Democrats’ anti-Trump narrative, that Jan. 6 was an “attack” and a “violent insurrection,” was a lie.



Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates issued a statement on behalf of the White House regarding Carlson’s reporting.



“We agree with the chief of the Capitol Police and the wide range of bipartisan lawmakers who have condemned this false depiction of the unprecedented, violent attack on our Constitution and the rule of law — which cost police officers their lives.”



“We also agree with what Fox News’s own attorneys and executives have now repeatedly stressed in multiple courts of law: that Tucker Carlson is not credible.”


The second part of the statement misleading links the Jan. 6 reports to a Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit against Fox News.



In the lawsuit, Fox News’s lawyers argued that Carlson engages in rhetorical hyperbole and opinion.



During the White House press briefing, Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about Carlson’s report and the lawsuit.



“We agree with the chief of police and the wide range of bipartisan lawmakers,” she said.


Jean-Pierre then deceitfully claimed that Carlson showing unedited footage to the public is somehow a “false depiction” of Jan. 6.



“We have condemned this false depiction,” she said.



“As it relates to the Tucker Carlson question, we agree with Fox Nation’s own attorneys and executives… that Tucker Carlson is not creditable when it comes to this issue in particular.”



Jean-Pierre then continued by citing articles to support her claim that Tucker Carlson isn’t credible.



The press secretary then tried lumping in Sean Hannity as well.



She added that Carlson and Hannity’s reporting is “shameful.”

Whoopi Goldberg Calls for DOJ to Target Tucker Carlson over Jan 6 Tapes: ‘This Should Be Against the Law’

Whoopi Goldberg has suffered a meltdown over Tucker Carlson and Fox News and called for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to do something about free speech in America.



Speaking during the controversial ABC show “The View,” co-host Goldberg argued that it “should be against the law” for Carlson to show the American people unedited footage from the Capitol on January 6, 2021.



Carlson’s explosive reporting has proved to the public that the “violent insurrection” narrative being peddled by the Democrats and their allies in the corporate media was a lie.



Goldberg and her co-hosts on “The View” have repeatedly promoted these anti-Trump false claims on behalf of the Democratic Party.



“I have a question, I have a question,” Goldberg said.



“How come this is not thought of as being recruiting?



“How come they’re not thinking about this radicalizing.



“Why is this not being scrutinized the way that they scrutinize other things?



“Because to me, this should be against the law.



“You should not be able to lie to the American people knowingly.


“You know it’s one thing if you made a mistake and you didn’t know.



“But we’ve heard for five or six years now, you know, the media was a lying sack of doo.



“They were fake news.



“They were this. So how come? What is our… what do we do as Americans to say this is not okay?”



Goldberg then continued by pushing the false claim the U.S. Constitution doesn’t allow Americans “to willingly lie” while also deceitfully suggesting that Carlson was “lying” by showing the footage to the public.



“The First Amendment doesn’t allow you to willingly lie,” she claimed.



“To me, that should be illegal.”



“It should be illegal,” fellow co-host Sunny Hostin said.



Goldberg said:



“Knowingly. That’s the whole point.



“You can make a mistake and say something. It happens.



“And people say, ‘Oh, that wasn’t right.’



“But you knew… you knew, you knew, you knew.



“And you know people are still listening to you and you are still lying,” Goldberg said.



“And I hope that the DOJ looks through a whole bunch of stuff and figures out what to do about this.”

Whoopi's Unhinged Rant About Tucker Carlson Derailed After Co-Host Reads Fact Check from Lawyers

Whoopi Goldberg is having a moment, as the kids like to say.



On Tuesday, the co-host and de facto moderator of “The View” went apoplectic over the fact that Fox News host Tucker Carlson showed viewers unseen footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion. In the footage, which Carson described as “mostly peaceful chaos,” both police and individuals in plainclothes can be seen letting protesters into the building, almost as if they were matadors ushering the bulls past them. The bulls, to be fair, seemed a lot more dangerous.



Goldberg described the decision to allow viewers to see the footage and make up their own minds as “Orwellian.” As further evidence she doesn’t really understand what “Orwellian” means or what British writer George Orwell actually wrote, she had this to say about the footage: “You know, I don’t know what he’s playing at, but people saw what they saw. They saw what they saw. And they’ve seen what’s gone down with it, and no matter what, you can’t put this monkey back in the cage.”



In other words, people shouldn’t have seen what they saw on Tucker Carlson’s show — and what they did see proved exactly the opposite of what it seemed to show, according to Goldberg. (Oceania has always been at war with East Asia. I’m holding up three fingers on my left hand. There are five fingers there. Do you see five fingers?)

Anyway, that should have been enough Whoopi weirdness for one week, and it wasn’t even hump day yet. However, she saved the best for Wednesday, when she again attacked Carlson and Fox News in an unhinged, reality-challenged rant that had the first among “The View’s” chattering equals implying that Tucker Carlson and Fox News ought to be shut down and/or prosecuted because they weren’t protected by the First Amendment.



The segment focused on a lawsuit between Dominion Voting Systems and Fox News. Dominion claims that Fox is guilty of defamation for even bothering to report on accusations from prominent figures around then-President Donald Trump that mass voter fraud involving their machines allowed Joe Biden to win the 2020 election.



The lawsuit is of incredibly dubious merit, given that the accusations about Dominion — unproven and still very unproved though they may be — were arguably the single major news event of the period between the election being called for Biden and the certification of the Electoral College.


Dominion’s position seems to be that these claims shouldn’t have been covered at all or that proponents of the theory should be shouted down by Carlson and Co., the same way guests on “The View” get verbally abused by the panel if the guests’ political views fall to the right of, say, George McGovern.



However, the major news that comes out of the lawsuit may come from the discovery portions of the legal proceedings. On Wednesday, The Associated Press reported that texts from Carlson obtained by lawyers for Dominion revealed Tucker wasn’t the biggest Trump fan in the world after the election — saying in one message, “I hate him passionately.”



In another set of texts, Carlson said “we are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights” and that “I truly can’t wait.”



However, it’s also worth noting that the texts show Carlson believed there was the plausible possibility of fraud in the 2020 election, just that Trump’s lawyers had discredited the case, something he said was “infuriating. Absolutely enrages me.”



Bear that in mind, because Goldberg used Carlson’s texts to argue the government could step in and shut down both Fox News and Carlson.

“How come this is not thought of as being recruiting?” Whoopi asked. “Why is this not being scrutinized in the way they scrutinize other things? To me, this should be against the law. You should not be able to lie to the American [people] knowingly.”



When token sorta-conservative Sara Haines broke in and noted the First Amendment guaranteed the right to free speech, Goldberg responded that “the First Amendment doesn’t allow you to willingly lie.”



I know there’s a pretty good joke in here about “The View” being in serious trouble if that’s really legal precedent, but never mind: The evidence being cited doesn’t prove Carlson or anyone at Fox News was willingly lying. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that Carlson and Fox News were reporting — not endorsing — some of the more outlandish claims being made in the wake of the 2020 election.



The texts that Whoopi seems to think are a smoking gun actually seem to point to Carlson being frustrated at the then-president and his legal team, not giggling and snickering about the dissembling he was getting away with.



And somehow, things got worse from there. Co-host Sunny Hostin — a lawyer, by the way, which makes this all the worse — seemed to endorse Whoopi’s interpretation that Fox News was actively recruiting domestic terrorists.



“You had the FBI director, Chris Wray, say the number one threat to our country is domestic terrorists,” Hostin said. “How do you recruit domestic terrorists? How do you do that? Misinformation, having these kinds of rallies, saying these things.



“And someone with Tucker Carlson — you would know better than I — how many millions of viewers, 3 million on this show?” she continued. “That’s a lot.”



She later asked, “Is [Attorney General] Merrick Garland listening?” [8:45]





This is a stunningly irresponsible statement, one that manages to stand out in an already stunningly irresponsible segment: Here’s a show built around the freedom of flighty, loud, uninformed political expression urging the Department of Justice to crack down on Fox News, as if this were Vladimir Putin’s Russia and “The View” was broadcasting on RT. Irony is apparently dead to these women.



Near the end of the segment, Hostin read a “legal note” — the term the show uses about communications from its legal team — regarding Fox News’ position, which was virtually the only time that an opposing viewpoint was proffered, even as a straw man.



“I have a legal note,” she said, then apparently read from a teleprompter: “In a statement, a Fox News spokesperson says Dominion’s lawsuit is a violation of the First Amendment, and they were covering and commenting on allegations by a sitting president.”



And — though no one on the panel acknowledged it — that amounted to a fact check that derailed the whole case Goldberg and her co-hosts were trying to make.



Fox is not arguing it has a right to “knowingly” lie to the American people. The network’s argument is that it has a right — implicitly an obligation — to cover the inarguably newsworthy statements of an American president regarding the conduct of an American presidential election. The personal beliefs of anyone involved in the coverage are irrelevant.



That’s an argument that shouldn’t even raise an eyebrow for a thinking American, no matter how much squawking air time the topic might consume on a show like “The View.”



This legal note, by the way, was read over nine minutes into a segment in which the panelists on “The View” said to heck with the First Amendment, since Fox News tells lies and radicalizes domestic terrorists.



Of course, their characterization of the lawsuit’s discovery phase was grossly misleading and, by insinuating Fox News was creating conservative terrorists, one could argue “The View” is radicalizing a whole nation of liberal women who have nothing better to do between 11 a.m. and noon Eastern.

Capitol surveillance video shows ‘QAnon Shaman’ being escorted through building by police, not ‘leading an insurrection’

(Natural News) There is a reason — well, actually, there are many reasons — why Democrats and RINO traitors did not want House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to hand over 40,000 hours of surveillance video taken during the Jan. 6, 2021, false flag ‘attack’ at the U.S. Capitol Building to Fox News host Tucker Carlson.



Simply put, the surveillance video exposes all of them as liars, as Carlson began to reveal on his show Monday night.



Several clips Carlson played on his show depicts two Capitol Police officers escorting Jacob Chansley, who is also known as the “QAnon Shaman” and has become an emblem of the riot, through the corridors of the Capitol and to the door of the U.S. Senate.



“Virtually every moment of his time inside the Capitol was caught on tape,” Carlson said. “The tapes show the Capitol Police never stopped Jacob Chansley. They helped him. They acted as his tour guides.”



As reported by the New York Post, the footage displays the officers escorting Chansley past a group of seven police officers who are seen loitering outside the Senate chamber, barely noticing his presence. The officers guide Chansley to multiple entrances of the chamber, which appear to be locked. Eventually, they help him open a door, granting him access to the chamber.



Chansley, a 33-year-old Navy veteran from Arizona, has been serving a sentence of nearly four years for his role in “obstructing an official proceeding.”



“The one very serious regret that I have [is] believing that when we were waved in by police officers, that it was acceptable,” he told Carlson during a jailhouse interview the host played on his show.



According to The Post, while the Capitol Police stated that one of the officers accompanying Chansley was attempting to “de-escalate” the situation as he was outnumbered, it remains unclear how Chansley, who was not carrying any weapons, was able to pass by a group of seven additional officers without being apprehended.



“Not one of them even tried to slow him down,” Carlson said. He “understood that the Capitol Police were his allies. … If he was in the act of committing such a grave crime, why didn’t the officers standing right next to him place him under arrest?”



But in the narrative that was formed by Democrats and much of the media following the riot, “Jacob Chansley became the face of January 6, a dangerous conspiracy theorist dressed in an outlandish costume who led the violent insurrection to overthrow America’s democracy,” Carlson added.



The Post noted further: “As well as Chansley’s story, Carlson will air footage that he says debunks the claim that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was murdered by rioters.”



Carlson also ran a segment on Ray Epps, an Arizona resident and former Marine who many suspect may have been an FBI mole who encouraged Americans to storm the Capitol.



“If there’s one takeaway from the corpus of footage that we spent three weeks looking at, it’s that the January 6th committee lied,” Tucker said on his Monday program, according to Becker News. “Its members are liars, and as the result of those lies, core civil liberties in this country were eroded, people went to prison. They’re in prison as of right now, unjustly. So those lies had consequences.



“One of the enduring mysteries of January 6th is the role that intelligence and law enforcement agencies played in the events of that day,” Tucker continued. “We know there was some number of undercover federal agents in the crowd at the Capitol. Officials have since admitted that under oath. But what exactly were they doing there? The January 6th committee worked hard to hide the answer to that question.”



“We do know from contemporaneous videotape that a mysterious figure called Ray Epps encouraged the crowd to go into the capitol,” he added. “For some reason, Epps has never been indicted for that. But there’s no question he did it. Under public pressure, the January 6th committee finally interviewed Ray Epps. Epps told the committee that he never entered the capitol and, therefore, never committed a crime. His text messages showed that at 2:12 PM, he boasted to his nephew that he had quote ‘orchestrated’ the protests at the capitol.”



“He admitted he helped get people there,” Tucker said. “Yet curiously, congressional Democrats consider Ray Epps an ally, not an insurrectionist. Tonight, we can tell you that at the very least, Ray Epps lied in his sworn testimony to the January 6th committee. Epps testified that when he sent the text messages to his nephew, he had already left the Capitol grounds to return to his hotel room. That is not true.”



“The surveillance footage we found shows that in fact, Ray Eppss remained at the Capitol for at least another half an hour,” the host said.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Monday night released never-before-seen January 6 footage showing police escorting peaceful protestors through the Capitol.



The newly released videos destroyed the sham January 6 Committee’s narrative.

Recall, members of the J6 panel falsely claimed Rep. Loudermilk gave Trump supporters a ‘reconnaissance tour’ on January 5.



Capitol Hill Police later released a letter exonerating Rep. Barry Loudermilk from accusations that he led a tour of the Capitol the day before a mob of then-President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the building.



Barry Loudermilk received death threats because of Bennie Thompson’s lies.

Despite the letter exonerating Rep. Loudermilk, the January 6 Committee released selectively edited video footage of GOP Rep. Barry Loudermilk leading constituents on a tour around the Capitol complex on Jan. 5th.



The sham Jan. 6 Committee did this knowing it was a lie and that Loudermilk had been exonerated.



Loudermilk is now spearheading an investigation into the January 6 Committee.

A Republican-controlled House committee launched an inquiry Wednesday into the Democratic-controlled Jan. 6 committee, which a staff member said will review whether pertinent information about the riot was omitted from the high-profile examination of the attack on the U.S. Capitol.



Many House Republicans were vocal critics since the creation of the Jan. 6 committee, and the inquiry seems to make good on lawmaker campaign trail vows to investigate the investigators.



The House Administration’s subcommittee on oversight will be combing through the massive amount of records collected by the Jan. 6 committee, which was dissolved in January, said the staffer, with the goal of analyzing how the panel conducted the investigation.



The House Administration Committee has launched a portal to collect tips from the public. News about the subcommittee’s plans was first reported by CNN.



The subcommittee — made up of four Republicans and two Democrats — will be looking into roughly two million documents and records, the source said, which the House Administration Committee obtained from the House Rules Committee after the Jan. 6 panel was dissolved.

Schumer's Fears Come True: Tucker's Jan. 6 Videos Draw Ratings That Blow Competitors Out of the Water

This is what Chuck Schumer was afraid of.



Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s reports this week showing previously unseen footage of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion turned out to shatter more than just the establishment media’s narrative of that day’s events.



They shattered the world of television ratings, too.



On Monday, the day of Carlson’s first report on more than 40,000 hours of Capitol surveillance video released by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, “Tucker Carlson Tonight” drew just shy of 3.7 million viewers, according to Mediaite. (The outlet covers the political media with a decidedly leftist spin, but these numbers were unspinnable.)



That put the lightning-rod Fox host at No. 1 in the ratings for the day — well ahead of his 8 p.m. “competition” on liberal networks MSNBC and CNN. At MSNBC, “All in with Chris Hayes” landed about 1.2 million viewers, according to Mediaite, while CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” drew a paltry 582,000.



Carlson’s report was a frontal assault on the narrative pushed by President Joe Biden and his Democratic Party that the incursion was an actual “insurrection” against the government of the United States. And it poked holes in key elements of the progressive propaganda surrounding the incident.



In response, Schumer used his position as Senate majority leader to issue a brazen appeal to Fox from the Senate floor to keep Carlson off the air on Tuesday night, when a follow-up report was coming.



Fox, of course, did not comply. And the ratings Carlson posted Tuesday were even higher — a rare occasion of a sequel outdoing the original.



On Tuesday, according to Mediaite, “Tucker Carlson Tonight” surpassed 4.1 million viewers — almost three times more than “All in with Chris Hayes” and over seven times more than the 577,000 viewers “Anderson Cooper 360” garnered.

Clearly, Carlson has struck a nerve in a country where the federal government and its media allies are bent on force-feeding a version of the events of Jan. 6 with the maximum smear potential on former President Donald Trump and the tens of millions of Americans who support him.



It looks like Schumer’s call to censor Carlson’s program to keep Americans from learning more about Jan. 6 than Democrats want them to know had exactly the opposite effect.



And what did Americans learn on Tuesday night? Carlson’s interview with Tarik Johnson, a veteran of more than 20 years on the Capitol Police force who was in charge of security during the certification of the 2020 election, demonstrated in shocking detail how unprepared the force was for mass protests that day — and how badly the Capitol Police command responded.



It wasn’t the narrative Schumer, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Biden White House have promulgated, of course, but the most damaging revelation might have been that Johnson was never called to testify before the committee Pelosi handpicked to “investigate” the day’s events.



It was basically proof that the grandiosely named House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol was nothing more than political theater of the absurd, aimed at framing the day in a way to damage Trump and his supporters with little interest in the truth of the matter.



The committee was, in short, a vehicle for a lie.



But numbers don’t lie.



And the ratings for Carlson’s Monday and Tuesday programs show that there are millions of Americans out there who want the truth — the truth they’re not getting from a hideously biased establishment media.



And the truth is really what Chuck Schumer is afraid of.

Jan. 6 Trial Paused Due to FBI Allegedly Altering Evidence

FBI agents apparently tried to alter evidence and destroy evidence that would have cleared an American citizen from being charged with faked crimes of domestic terrorism in a set of trials stemming from Jan. 6th, 2021, at the US Capitol, which itself has become a rallying crime for the Administrative State to weaponize the government and punish the American people for their support of populist President Donald J. Trump.



On that fateful day in 2021, as millions of Americans expressed their right to petition the government, powerful forces gathered in DC to create a narrative that Populists are violent and planned to overthrow the US Government in a violent insurrection.



For two years, as people have been awaiting trials, the media and the RINO-Democrat axis have pounded the public with stories that supporters of Trump are guilty of treasonous behavior.



A group of people from a men’s drinking club called the Proud Boys have been on trial for over 6 weeks as they face severe charges of seditious conspiracy.



But who seems to be busted is the FBI.



The trial of Dominic Pezzola, one of the defendants of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, was paused on Thursday due to classified FBI messages revealed in court, which the defense attorneys say show FBI agents discussing the altering of evidence.



Pezzola is one of the Proud Boys members on trial for obstruction and conspiracy charges related to the Jan. 6 Capitol breach. He was arrested on Jan. 15, 2021, and indicted the same month. Pezzola’s trial began in January of this year.



“There are a couple of emails between FBI agents casually discussing altering a document and destroying hundreds of pieces of evidence. It’s very disturbing and right now we have more questions than answers,” Roger Roots, an attorney at John Pierce Law, wrote to The Epoch Times. Roots confirmed that Washington District Court Judge Timothy J. Kelly, a Trump appointee, paused the trial on Thursday due to the leaked messages.



The exchange Roots referred to came into light on Wednesday during the testimony of FBI special agent Nicole Miller, who was involved in the agency’s investigations of the Jan. 6 defendants.



When cross-examining Miller, Nick Smith, an attorney representing Proud Boys member Ethan Nordean (listed as co-defendant on Pezzola’s case), revealed classified FBI emails that were hidden in a tab in an Excel spreadsheet. Roots, in Pezzola’s case, used this evidence to support a motion to dismiss (pdf) the charges against Pezzola, which Roots’s team filed on Wednesday, according to the EPOCH Times, who added:



In the motion, Pezzola’s team said the emails showed that the FBI monitored communications between Nordean and his lawyer, violating the Sixth Amendment, which prohibits invasions of the right to counsel (Matter of Fusco v. Moses).



“In the Nordean case, confidential attorneys-client trial/defense strategy and position was wrongfully obtained by the government, about which was overheard, shared, utilized, where potentially ‘338 items of evidence’ were ordered to be ‘destroyed,’ said Pezzola’s legal team in the motion to dismiss.



According to a separate filing by Nordean’s lawyers, Miller said in one correspondence that “[her] boss assigned [her] 338 items of evidence [she has] to destroy”; Nordean’s lawyers allege that another email showed an agent requesting Miller to “go into CHS [informant] report” that Miller “just put [together] and edit out that [the agent] was present.”



The emails show Miller “admitted fabricating evidence and following orders to destroy hundreds of items of evidence,” Pezzola’s lawyers wrote in its motion to dismiss, and that the government obtained information that benefitted itself in the trial, causing substantial prejudice to each of the defendants, including Pezzola.



“If justice means anything, it requires this case to be dismissed,” Pezzola’s lawyer said.



Roots are representing Pezzola on a pro bono basis. Legal non-profit National Constitutional Law Union (NCLU) is helping cover Roots’s expenses while he is in Washington, according to NCLU Executive Director Natalie Danelishen.



“My thoughts are we need a longer pause to get to the bottom of some of Agent Miller’s emails,” Roots told The Epoch Times.



As of Thursday evening, the court has not issued an order responding to the motion to dismiss.



In addition to their argument about the Sixth Amendment, Pezzola’s lawyers also argued in their motion to dismiss that newly surfaced footage of events of the Jan. 6 Capitol breach constitutes exculpatory evidence. The defendants’ lawyers say the government, by withholding that evidence, violated their client’s constitutional rights as defined in Brady v. Maryland, a 1963 case in which the Supreme Court held that prosecutors must make available exculpatory evidence to defense counsel.



The defendants’ motion comes two days after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA.) released more than 40,000 hours of Jan. 6 footage to Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, who then aired some of the footage on his show on Monday and Tuesday.



One tape aired Monday showed Capitol Police officers walking alongside Jacob Chansley, a Jan. 6 defendant serving a 41-month sentence after pleading guilty to an obstruction charge. Chansley was unarmed and walked past several Capitol police officers.



The aired footage “is plainly exculpatory,” Pezzola’s lawyers said in the motion.

House Republicans Launch Probe Into Jan. 6 Panel

In February, Matt Gaetz and Lauren Boebert, both Republican House members, announced that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had pledged to make public all security footage of the events that transpired at the Capitol Building on January 6th.



“The American people deserve to know the truth about what happened on January 6th. We have demanded to see all the footage. Transparency is coming,” Gaetz declared. “Every time from the JFK files to 9/11, to now January 6th. It’s our own government, our own Department of Justice that seems to stand in the way of transparency.”



Moreover, he reiterated his call for the House floor to be covered by more CSPAN cameras.



“If we had cameras on the floor, my suspicion is we would have far better attendance during debates that impact the lives of our fellow Americans,” he argued.



Rep. Boebert added: “Speaker McCarthy says he’ll be releasing ALL the footage from January 6th. Considering all the public has seen are edited clips from a bunch of Democrats with an axe to grind, it sure will be nice to get some unbiased footage.”



“I think the public should see what happened on that day,” McCarthy said in a press conference. “I watched what Nancy Pelosi did, where she politicized it. … I think the American public should actually see what happened instead of a report that’s written for a political basis.”



I was actually at the Capitol filming on January 6th and knew there wasn’t an “insurrection.” I released all of my footage at the behest of the March for Trump organizers in order to help clear anyone who was there, and while it took a little longer than most of us wanted, the House security footage has been released, and to Fox’s firebrand, Tucker Carlson to boot.



Now House Republicans are going after the sham committee that “investigated” the events of that day in an attempt to bar Trump and other Republicans from running for office again.



“Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), chairman of the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, is leading an investigation of the dissolved Jan. 6 select committee and security failures surrounding the riot,” The Hill reported.



The probe is in its beginning stages, Loudermilk said Wednesday.



“We’ve got to get through the documents. We need to do some interviews with people. But at some point, we will have some hearings,” Loudermilk said, also adding the panel is reviewing video from Jan. 6, 2021.



“The House Administration Committee has also set up a portal on its website to collect tips on the demonstration, security present, delay in National Guard support, and subsequent select committee,” according to Newsmax.



“We’ve got to get through the documents. We need to do some interviews with people. But at some point, we will have some hearings,” Loudermilk promised.



“We need to give a serious, in-depth investigation into what happened that day, which the J6 committee didn’t do,” he continued. “We need to know, where were the security failures … as well as what do we need to do to fix it?”



“The congressman did not confirm if there would be any hearings or subpoenas aimed at members of the former select committee, telling the outlet that he hopes “they’d just come and talk,”” Newsmax added.



“This is not going to be a gotcha,” Loudermilk proclaimed. “This is getting to the truth.”



“The J6 Committee chose to ignore the facts and pursue a particular political narrative. I will not do this. As Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight, I’m focused on finding out what really happened on J6 to ensure it never happens again,” Loudermilk posted on Twitter, Tuesday.

Anti-Trumper, former Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, and traitor Peter Strzok, started lying about Loudermilk on Twitter on Wednesday, posting:



“Remember this? Loudermilk gave “tours” of stairwells and passageways on Jan 5th. He claimed a Capitol rioter he led on the tour was simply taking a photo of a “golden eagle sconce” light fixture. Congressman Sconce was just named head of subcommittee reviewing Jan 6 Committee.”

Perhaps in response to Strzok, Loudermilk stated: “It amazes me that the Chairman of the J6 Committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), was not aware of the Capitol Police letter clearing me of the ‘reconnaissance tour’ lie their committee manufactured.”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson was granted temporary exclusive access to 41,000 hours of video angles beginning Jan. 6 by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.



Carlson argued that what we see on the videos “does not show an insurrection or a riot in progress” and “demolishes” any related allegations on his Monday show.



“McCarthy has defended giving Fox early access to the tapes, assuring that they would eventually be released publicly. On Wednesday, he argued that Carlson’s show proved the House Jan. 6 committee failed on transparency,” Newsmax continued.



“My whole role for Jan. 6 is to just bring transparency,” McCarthy told Newsmax congressional correspondent Kilmeny Duchardt.



“People can make their own decisions with that. I just don’t think the way the Jan. 6 committee handled it by not letting Republicans on, by picking and choosing what was shown — I let people make their own decisions,” he added.

Ex-Clinton Advisor Apologizes to Conservatives over Jan 6 after Reviewing Real Footage

Liberal feminist author and former Bill Clinton advisor Naomi Wolf has issued an apology to conservatives after reviewing the newly released footage from Jan. 6.

Wolf, who served as a political advisor to the presidential campaigns of Democrats Bill Clinton and Al Gore, offered a formal apology to conservatives who “put America first” on January 6, 2021.

In a lengthy post on Substack, Wolf responded to the explosive footage that has emerged from the Capitol that proves the Democrats’ anti-Trump “violent insurrection” narrative was a lie.

“Peaceful Republicans and conservatives as a whole have been demonized by the story told by Democrats in leadership of what happened that day,” Wolf said Thursday.

“Republicans, conservatives, I am sorry.

“I also believed wholesale so much else that has since turned out not to be as I was told it was by NPR, MSNBC, and the New York Times,” Wolf also said.

“Anyone in leadership who misrepresented to the public the events of the day so as to distort the complexity of its actual history — must also be held accountable,” she added.

Wolf compared the release of the new Jan. 6 footage to Daniel Ellsberg’s release of the Pentagon Papers.

She noted that Leftists lionized the latter while condemning the former.

Wolf, a “lifelong liberal and civil libertarian” is a prominent feminist, author, and commentator.

She’s a periodic guest on Fox News Channel shows.

She was a figurehead of 1990s “third-wave feminism” and was once a “Democratic Party insider,” according to Business Insider.

Wolf’s “impeccable” Democratic Party bonafides came into question when “The Beauty Myth” author gave an interview to Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson in 2021 and later appeared on Steve Bannon’s “WarRoom” podcast, the outlet also said.

Wolf was a vocal opponent of Covid lockdowns and related policies.

The Yale alum lead a protest against her alma mater’s vaccine policy in December 2022.

Wolf says her apology was spurred by the recent release of previously unseen Capitol footage showing what really happened on Jan. 6.

The footage was released by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson.

Carlson aired portions of the footage on his nightly show earlier this week.

Both Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) publicly denounced the decision to air the footage.

In her letter, Wolf specifically cites footage of “QAnon Shaman” Jacob Chansley and Officer Brian Sicknick which appear to contravene the narratives she previously espoused.

Chansley was sentenced to four years in prison for entering the Capitol and was smeared by the media as a “violent insurrectionist.”

However, the new video shows him being calmly shown around the building by Capitol Police officers.

One video shows him urging crowds to remain calm, with people responding positively to his encouragement.

Democrats and their corporate media allies have also pushed the narrative that Officer Sicknick was killed during the so-called “attack.”

However, Sicknick died of natural causes on the next day and the new video footage shows he wasn’t injured during Jan. 6.

Many have been taking to social media to voice their support for Wolf’s apology.

“This is pretty courageous,” Jason Whitlock tweeted Friday in response.

“I am one of those people who was targeted and brutalized in all of this horrific dishonesty. I still am,” Walkaway campaign founder Brandon Straka tweeted.

“This helps,” he added.

Speaker McCarthy must follow through on his promises that the new Republican House will investigate the January 6 protests, violence, and Nancy Pelosi and what she knew.

Gosar: We have to because the limited tapes that Tucker has been releasing show a complete 180 from what was presented here with the J6 committee. Even the admission today by Benny Thompson that he didn’t see these tapes and left it to staff tells me who ran that committee. Was it staff, or was it the members themselves? But it was a total lie. When you start to see particularly officer Sicknick, who they had said already passed away, but he shows up in the crypt actually ushering people through and putting poster boards away, and it’s after they say he was dead, something’s wrong here. And this is not just J6. This has to do with the COVID hearings going on and the China hearings. This is a three-shot one that we have to get to the bottom of. And I tell people, “don’t believe me. Watch the tapes. You make up your own mind.” That’s why I’ve been pushing for two years for these tapes.



Conradson: Like Jake Angeli, right? We see him being led through the Capitol by Capitol Police Officers. What can be done about this to sort of give him reparations, or again Ashley Babbitt’s mother, whose daughter was murdered in the capitol? what can be done to repair those damages?



Gosar: Well, the first thing is acknowledgment that we were rotten with fraud, and we need the American people to start calling and asking and hoping to plead that Congressman Jordan really starts making the impact; hiring the attorneys, getting everybody is subpoenaed, because we need to get the bottom of this and it shouldn’t stop here. We also need to bring Miss Pelosi in, in regards to her dictation prior to, because she set the standard and the stage for this. So, we need to petition my colleague and friend, Mr. Jordan. Let’s really turn up the volume. Let’s help him get this going. Let’s help him get the subpoenas out and start dragging people in here. America needs that one law that serves everybody; nobody above the law, everybody below that same law.

Conradson: With Jim Jordan’s Weaponization Committee, you know, I’m hearing that he’s only got five staffers, a $2 million budget. This is in comparison to the January 6 committee, which had roughly 100 staffers, $20 million budget, or even Watergate. You know, they had roughly 200 staffers and close to a $50 million budget, what can be done to really pressure them to put more into this committee?



Gosar: One of the promises that the Speaker made was this very aspect. We were promised the same type of tooling that would go with it. It’s not because of the will or lack of will by members of Congress that are on that committee. It’s just a lack of trying to make sure that the money’s there. You know, we can’t have another Benghazi. We can’t have another fast and furious. We can’t have another IRS attacking conservatives. We need people to be held accountable. I’m held accountable, you are too. So, they need to have the same thing happen. And we need to put this all out to the American people because we are the people we are the government.



Conradson: You were talking about Nancy Pelosi. If you guys were to look into Nancy Pelosi’s ties to the January 6, what they’re calling an insurrection, they’re standing by their narrative everywhere they go, same with Liz Cheney; is there a chance that you guys could prosecute certain members of Congress, Congress, or former members of Congress over January 6?



Gosar: I would not leave it at just that. I think there’s also military that are involved. And I think that their, you know, heads have to roll. Otherwise, you condone this lawlessness, and that’s what America sees. We see lawlessness in Chicago. We see lawlessness on our border, we see lawlessness everywhere. and that’s part of the precipitating actions that Congress is allowed.



Conradson: So are you looking into any inquiries, or resolutions of inquiry into Mark Milley or Mayorkas over their handling of our national security?

Tucker Carlson on Q-Anon Shaman: “Liz Cheney Should Lose Her Job Today. She Destroyed a Man’s Life”

Tucker Carlson spoke to the mother of “Q Anon Shaman” Jacob Chansley and his lawyer on Friday, after releasng footage showing that Chansley was escorted through Congress by up to nine armed police officers, who even opened doors for him. “Liz Cheney should lose her job today. She destroyed a man’s life”, Carlson said.



Gateway Pundit had reported on May 17, 2021 that police invited Jacob Chansley and several other rpotesters into the US Capitol that day. So naturally, he would think it was okay to be there. Otherwise the officers presumably would have stopped him.



Tucker Carlson spoke to Chansley’s mother Matha and lawyer William Shipley on Friday, showing footage of Steve Schmidt of the scandal-ridden Lincoln Project demanding to “shoot” the peaceful “shaman” Jacob Chansley:






“Now we know that the Biden administration created that perception, that this man should be killed, and then broke the law specifically to destroy the life of American citizen and Naval veteran Jacob Chansley who remains in prison tonight. The question is, what happens next?” Tucker asked Martha Chansley: “What has it been like to see people like Steve Schmidt of the Lincoln Project calling for the killing of your son?”



“What has it been like – that is an awful thing to say, it is horrible,” Martha Chansley told Tucker, “for someone who just walked through open doors.”



When asked how she feels to know the United States government and President Biden’s administration “hid evidence” that may be considered exculpatory in his case, Chansley said it is very “upsetting. It should have come out two years ago. He’s an innocent man. Everything that [Jacob] said that he did is true — That he walked through open doors. He was escorted through the halls of the Senate.”



Chansleys’ new attorney, William Shipley, criticized former counsel Albert Watkins, saying the defendant did not have a lot of post-conviction options. “Jake did not have a lot of options. The plea agreement that Albert Watkins talked him into signing waived all of his appeal rights. So he had no opportunity to go to the [District of Columbia] Circuit Court of Appeals to raise any issues connected to his conviction,” Shipley said.



“It was a terrible plea agreement. It was an unconscionable plea agreement. I’ve done this for 35 years. I recognized it immediately what Watkins had done wrong. Watkins had to plead guilty before the government was even willing to say it had produced all the video. The government in August of 2021 was still telling judges, ‘We haven’t been able to get all of the evidence to the defense lawyers, so please don’t set trial dates’.”



But Watkins had convinced his client Chansley to plead guilty, Shipley said. “So he’s in a little bit of a mousetrap.”



“But now that we know that this was a travesty, the people responsible should be punished,” Carlson said. “Liz Cheney should lose her job today as a Professor at the University of Virginia. She destroyed a man’s life. How do you get Jacob Chansley out of jail?”



“We’re gonna have to come up with a creative way to get (the case) back before Judge (Royce) Lamberth. I think Judge Lamberth may be a little unhappy the government presented some videos to paint Jacob in the worst possible light. They described him in court as the face of the insurrection, violent… But I don’t think Judge Lamberth thinks he saw everything he needed to see when he made that decision.”



Speaking to Laurie Segall of “60 Minutes” from prison March 5, 2021, Jacob Chansley said his actions on Jan. 6 were “not an attack on this country.”



“I sang a song. That’s a part of shamanism. It’s about creating positive vibrations in a sacred chamber. I also stopped people from stealing and vandalizing that sacred space, the Senate. Okay? I actually stopped somebody from stealing muffins out of the break room. And I also said a prayer in that sacred chamber. Because it was my intention to bring divinity, and to bring God back into the Senate”, Chansley said.



“But Jake, legally, you were not allowed to be in what you’re calling the sacred chamber,” Segall said.



“And that is– and that is the one very serious regret that I have, was believing that when we were waved in by police officers, that it was acceptable,” Chansley said.

DOJ Hit with Legal Motion after Truth Emerges about Jan 6

Democrat President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice has been hit with a legal motion after explosive revelations emerged about what really transpired on January 6, 2021.



Tucker Carlson’s bombshell reports have finally proved that the Democrats and their corporate media mouthpieces have been lying about Jan. 6.



Carlson released never-before-seen footage from the Jan. 6, 2021 riots at Capitol Hill.



The footage finally exposes the Democrats’ anti-Trump narrative, that Jan. 6 was a “deadly insurrection,” to be a lie that was peddled by the media.



The video footage, taken from the security cameras in and around the Capitol, has previously been withheld from the public by the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives, until now.



The footage appears to dispel several narratives pushed by the Democrat-led House Select Committee and their allies in the corporate media.



Several of the protesters arrested over Jan. 6 have become politically motivated targets and received long prison sentences.



One of the most prominent protesters was Jacob Chansley, a Navy veteran widely referred to in the liberal media as the “QAnon Shaman.”



Carlson’s report included footage that shows officers calmly showing Chansley around the Capitol, even trying to open locked doors for him.



At one point, at least nine police officers were seen in close proximity to Chansley, and none of them slowed him down, as Carlson noted.


The unedited security footage, which the Democrats wanted to be kept hidden from the public, directly disputes the claim that Chansley was a “violent insurrectionist.”



In the video, Chansley appears more like someone who’s being given a tour of the Capitol by police officers, and at no point does he appear violent.



In another video, Chansley can be seen addressing a crowd and urging protesters to be peaceful.



Chansley was later arrested and federally charged for “knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.”



He was sentenced to nearly four years in prison.



In light of Carlson’s reports, the American people now want answers.



Attorney Joseph D. McBride is building a levee against the lies the Democrats have spread about what happened on Jan. 6.



McBride announced on Friday that he is filing a motion to stop the government from lying to the public and, in doing so, heaping injustice on many of the Jan. 6 political prisoners.



“We just filed a motion in USA v RYAN TAYLOR NICHOLS to prevent the Government from advancing the false narrative that police were killed by protestors on J6,” McBride tweeted on Friday.



“NO MORE LIES,” he asserted.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson exposed some of the lies made by Biden officials about the Jan. 6 riots this week by showing new footage of the fateful day.



One of the biggest lies was that police officers were killed by protesters during riots.



Carlson called out Garland for his lies on his prime-time show and didn’t mince his words.



“Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland is a liar,” Carlson declared.



“He just lied about something that is provably false.



“No police officers died that day on January 6. None. Not one.”

Garland apparently saw it differently.



“I think all Americans saw what happened on Jan. 6, and most of us saw it as it was happening,” Garland said, according to CNBC.



“It was a violent attack on a fundamental tenet of American democracy.”



Garland went on to say that over 100 officers were assaulted on that day and that five officers died.



“We have charged more than 1,000 people with their crimes on that day, and more than 500 people have already been convicted.



“I think it’s very clear what happened on Jan. 6.”



Carlson dropped the hammer on Garland for deceitfully implying that five police officers died on Jan. 6.



To suggest that five police officers died at the hands of protesters is an outright lie.



No police officers died on Jan. 6.



U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick did die, but it was a day after the attack.



Sicknick’s death was determined to be from natural causes, not protesters.



Sicknick died from two strokes at the base of his brain stem caused by an artery clot.



Carlson’s reporting reveals that the security footage proves Sicknick was not injured on Jan. 6.



Four Capitol Police and Washington Metropolitan Police officers did die.



They died by suicide after the riot.



The Capitol Police officer’s union said about 140 officers were injured during the protests.



Carlson went on to show that Liz Cheney’s tweet claiming that Sicknick “was killed defending our Capitol from the violent mob on January 6” was still up for all the world to see.



There is no way to twist that statement into the truth as it is outright false.



Garland and Cheney weren’t alone in pushing these false claims either as Biden was also doing his part.



In March 2022, Biden knowingly spread fabricated claims about Jan. 6.



“Look, how would you feel if you saw crowds storm and break down the doors of the British Parliament, kill five cops, injure 145 — or the German Bundestag, or the Italian Parliament?” Biden said.



“I think you’d wonder. Well, that’s what the rest of the world saw. It’s not who we are.



“And now, we’re proving, under pressure, that we are not that country. We’re united.”



Attorney McBride and his law firm are representing Ryan Taylor Nichols.



Nichols is seeking an order to stop the prosecution from “arguing, mentioning, or presenting claims by Government witnesses at trial, that are unduly prejudicial about the deaths of police officers wrongfully attributed to demonstrations that took place on January 6, 2021.”



Nichols is allegedly implicated in the fire extinguisher incident that involved Sicknick.



In the 45-page filing to the court, McBride wrote, “The allegations are serious, controversy never-ending, and the smear tactics deployed against every January Sixth protestor seem to know no bounds,” it said, according to the Longview News-Journal.



“Ryan Nichols is thankful that he is not being tried in the court of public opinion and that the presumption of innocence as well as the presumption in favor of release support this application, which he now respectfully brings before this Court.”



“At one point, a person hands Nichols a bottle that looks like a fire extinguisher,” the filing continues.



“Nichols admits to pointing it at officers who were spraying people with a substance and spraying them back.



“The spray appears to have no effect of any kind, on anyone,” the document states.



“Ryan has no idea what was in the bottle.”



Taken with the fact that Sicknick is shown walking around the Capitol in the video released by Carlson, the lies of the left are being exposed to the light of truth.



McBride’s motion would not allow the prosecution to even insinuate that the fire extinguisher incident was related to Sicknick’s death.



If they do, McBride will call D.C. Chief Medical Examiner Francisco Diaz as an expert witness to refute such a claim.

Even as Jan. 6 Narrative Implodes, Pence Still Blames Bad Orange Man for Endangering His Life

Mike Pence is running hard to be the Mitt Romney of 2024, the controlled opposition establishment Republican nominee who will run for president and lose gracefully. Or if he somehow wins, he will do the Left’s bidding, but in a restrained, ostensibly conservative way. The formerly genuine conservative Pence showed that again Saturday at the Gridiron Club dinner in Washington, an annual event where speakers usually keep things light. The famously stone-faced former veep may have been incapable of cracking jokes, but he sure went all-in on making his remarks as heavy as possible and signaling that he would happily carry water for the Left, repeating his claim that Trump endangered his life on Jan. 6 — even as the Left’s Jan. 6 narrative is in a full state of collapse.



According to a Sunday report in the New York Post, Pence told the Gridiron Club audience, “President Trump was wrong. I had no right to overturn the election. And his reckless words endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol that day.” Pence has said this before, and it’s a strange thing for an alleged conservative to say, as it is a prime Leftist talking point. Trump criticized Pence for lacking “courage,” and Pence has repeatedly claimed that this put his life in danger. Yet Trump did not call for any violence against Pence. The Left has adopted as a consistent strategy the contention that any criticism of Leftists is tantamount to violence and results in their being inundated with death threats from right-wing yahoos.



Of course, this never works in the other direction: Leftist criticism of patriots is never violence and never results in threats. For Pence to say that Trump’s criticism endangered him is to parrot a Leftist talking point that is designed to shut down all criticism of the Left. It’s irresponsible and short-sighted for Pence to aid and abet the destruction of the freedom of speech.



Pence even went on to say, “And I know that history will hold Donald Trump accountable.​” Did Mike Pence read Das Kapital over the winter and become a true believer? It’s likewise a core Leftist talking point that history is trending in an inevitable and discernible direction, and that they’re on the right side of it. That’s why they call themselves “progressives.” ​



It’s unlikely that Mike Pence has actually become a Leftist, but he is certainly talking like one of their useful idiots. This is especially true in light of the fact that he went on to say,


“​But it was there, in that small office just off the Senate chamber, there was a small television set, and we watched what was unfolding outside — the mayhem and the rioting. You could hear it echoing outside and soon thereafter in the hallways​.” This was just feeding the Jan. 6 mythology of a mob of violent, crazed MAGA protestors, stirred into a frenzy by Trump, storming the Capitol. Like the Jan. 6 Committee, Pence ignores the fact that Trump told protestors to proceed “peacefully and patriotically.”



It was also striking that he chose Saturday to say all this, after the nation was treated to startling new evidence, and a week of discussion of that evidence, of how the entire Jan. 6 “insurrection” narrative was a hoax, akin to the Russian Collusion farce. Is Pence going to claim next that he has inside knowledge that Trump was in cahoots with Putin?


His new remarks are jarring and tone-deaf, but Mike Pence actually made his choice long ago. Few recall today, especially Pence himself, what he said on Jan. 4, 2021: “I promise you, come this Wednesday, we’ll have our day in Congress. We’ll hear the objections. We’ll hear the evidence.” Yet just two days later, without explanation, he was singing a very different tune. And now this.



What Pence himself is getting out of all this remains unclear. Maybe he really does think that he can become the Republican establishment’s choice in 2024, and that a Pence/Cheney ticket could sweep him into the White House on Jan. 20, 2025. Given how the 2022 elections went, he could conceivably become the Republican candidate, although he has aroused almost no voter enthusiasm and would have to be imposed upon the electorate rather than chosen by it. If he does become the nominee, however, it’s virtually certain that he would just have been chosen to play the role of the Washington Generals facing the Democrats’ Harlem Globetrotters. From the sound of his recent statements, he would play this role eagerly.

(LifeSiteNews) – U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy has affirmed that he will authorize a full public release of all surveillance video recorded at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.



The Democrats, with their previous majority, had kept the recordings of that day’s disturbances under lock and key for about two years, releasing only the clips they wanted viewed by the public.



“This is all about transparency,” McCarthy, a Republican from California, told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview with Matthew Boyle. “You’ve watched [how] that January 6 [Committee] would release only certain tapes. I think it’s better for transparency that anyone can [view all the evidence and] make their own decision.”







Exclusive release of some of this footage to Fox News television host Tucker Carlson and his team caused an uproar earlier this week when previously suppressed recordings appeared to expose several significant “lies” that were advanced by the Democrats’ January 6 Committee. These blockbuster episodes of Carlson’s show served to severely discredit, even further, the narrative the Democrats and their committee advanced in conjunction with the deep state and legacy media outlets.



For security reasons, McCarthy said there may be some delays for full access. “We just want to make sure we go through them all, and it takes time,” he said. “We want to make sure for security purposes our certain exits aren’t shown and others,” which he says was ironically not a precaution made by the January 6 Committee and its allies.



“They showed the exit of the vice president. They showed the exit from my office. They literally had then-Speaker Pelosi’s daughter showing the secure location that they take the leadership. That’s not supposed to be known to anybody, and CNN reported it, and I don’t remember the press ever getting upset with that. So what we want to do is make sure we have this out that everybody can see it.”



According to Andrea Widburg of American Thinker, perhaps the “shrillest and most dangerous” opponent to this simple transparency is U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who on Tuesday called for Fox News boss Rupert Murdoch to pull Tucker Carlson off the air.



“Rupert Murdoch has a special obligation to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight [and] from letting him go on again and again and again [because] our democracy depends on it,” Schumer said.



In response to his counterpart in the Senate, McCarthy stated, “I wish Chuck Schumer would read the Constitution. The Democrats always go to censorship. You watched what they did with the [Hunter Biden] laptop. You watched what they did with Twitter. They want to use government as much as they can to censor what people can see and what people can know.”







“This is the difference between us. I believe in the Constitution. I trust the American people, and you should just have the ability to have all the information and let people make their own judgment,” he affirmed.



One important revelation made by Carlson on Monday was the saga of Jacob Chansley, the so-called “QAnon Shaman” who “became the face of January 6” and was portrayed by the media as “a dangerous conspiracy theorist dressed in outlandish costume who led the violent insurrection to overthrow American democracy.”


A Navy veteran from Arizona, Chansley is currently serving a prison sentence of almost four years for his presence in the Capitol that day, despite no evidence of his being violent and new surveillance tape showing him walking unarmed through the corridors, escorted by two police officers, and passing untouched through at least seven others.



Furthermore, Carlson confirmed in an interview of Chansley’s attorney Albert Watkins on Wednesday that this potential exculpatory evidence was not made available to him and his client during the trial period, in clear violation of his rights.



Watkins said the government had “an absolute duty, with zero discretion, to provide it to me so that I could show my client. I never got it.”


When Boyle asked about Chansley’s case, McCarthy suggested this may simply be another example of unequal justice under the law. He first affirmed “any person that’s accused they should be able to have a right to see the tapes to make their own defense.”



“I also believe in America you need equal justice,” he said. “I don’t like what happened on January 6, but I watched the courthouses get burned in Seattle. I watched them attack federal employees. I watched what happened here, and no one getting arrested, no one being held up to justice. I think in America you want equal justice, and that’s what’s concerning to me.”



During his program on Tuesday, Carlson raised the question of just why former Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi received no blame for what happened on January 6 despite her being “the very same person who was in charge of the police force, the Capitol Hill police, that was charged with securing safety.”


Reports even from the first half of 2021 confirm the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had information of a planned attack by some individuals for weeks, and neither they, nor the Capitol Police, nor the Democrats in charge of Congress adequately prepared for it.



Addressing the work of the January 6 Committee on this topic, McCarthy stated, “The one thing that [Chairman Rep.] Bennie [Thompson] said at the very beginning is Nancy Pelosi is off limits and the Sergeant of Arms, so we can’t know about those emails or texts or those conversations.”



“I’ve really taken the approach that the Capitol Police weren’t protected that day, that they weren’t given the information ahead of time. Should you have had National Guard here? What information did you have? I was never told of any threats beforehand, and you would not ever want to have that security problem happen again, so you want to look at it from a security point of view too. Why did it happen and how do you make sure that never happens again? To me, it’s quite interesting that the January 6 [Committee] never laid that out,” he said.


The Speaker also addressed Pelosi’s unprecedented action of not allowing Republican Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana to sit on the committee, calling this just one action of the January 6 Committee did which were “purely political.”



“Secondly, they made accusations that we knew were not true. They said one Republican congressman [Rep. Barry Loudermilk] gave a tour. Well, the tapes show he did not give a tour, but you know what, one of the Democrats on the January 6 committee did give a tour in the Capitol the day before,” he observed.



“We watched different accusations they made. That’s why I think transparency answers all that,” McCarthy said. “That’s not my job to sit back and say whether they were right or wrong, but my job is to be transparent, and people can make their own conclusion.”

Tucker Carlson answers critics of Capitol video: Leaders who ‘double down’ on Jan. 6 ‘lies’ are ‘sociopaths’

'The commitment to lying in Washington is far deeper and more bipartisan even than we realized,' said the Fox News host, who also emphasized how the government violated the Constitution in denying the 'QAnon Shaman' access to exculpatory evidence.


(LifeSiteNews) – In a Wednesday night broadcast, Fox News host Tucker Carlson responded to a multitude of media and political elites who “came out swinging” in response to his exposing several significant Democrat “lies” regarding the January 6, 2021 disturbance at the U.S. Capitol.



Carlson and his team were given access to over 40,000 hours of that day’s surveillance footage courtesy of new Republican Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. The Democrats with their previous majority had kept these tapes under lock and key, releasing only the clips they wanted viewed by the public.



The highly popular television host began his remarks by contrasting the difference between “people who tell the truth” and “liars” who “are touchy, sometimes to the point of hysteria” while also being “weak and afraid” of their lies being exposed.







And when they are caught lying, they have two choices, they can either admit it, apologize, and move on, or as has happened here with certain congressional leaders and legacy media outlets, “they exploded in rage. And then as liars tend to do, they doubled down. They told the same lies they’d been caught telling, but with even greater aggression this time.”



“Who acts like that? Well, sociopaths do, and in this case the sociopaths turned out to be both Democrats and Republicans. The commitment to lying in Washington is far deeper and more bipartisan even than we realized, and we follow this stuff for a living,” Carlson said.



“Now, you sometimes hear people say that the whole partisan system is an illusion and that underneath the manufactured debates, the leaders on both sides are, in fact, secretly united in a common love of money and power and the deception required to get them. And honestly, we could never really bring ourselves to believe that. It’s just too dark. But now we do believe it because we have seen it,” he explained.



The Fox News host went on to review the broadly alleged murder of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick at the hands of Trump supporters on that day, confirming from the video footage, “we can tell you with certainty that Officer Sicknick was not beaten to death by Trump voters at the Capitol.”


Yet, Carlson demonstrated how the likes of former congresswoman Liz Cheney and CNN commentator Anderson Cooper have not only refused to correct their own previous statements to the contrary, but in response to these new revelations, the Biden administration “trotted out” the White House press secretary and attorney general Merrick Garland earlier this week to double down on this lie as well.



Karine Jean-Pierre was shown saying that events that day “cost police officers their lives,’ and Garland said, “over 100 officers were assaulted on that day, five officers died.”



“Merrick Garland is a liar,” Carlson observed. “He just lied about something that is provably false. Who are these five officers who were ‘killed that day?’ Notice he didn’t tell you. No one ever tells you. No one ever shows you their autopsies. They don’t want any detail. They just want the slogan.”



“No police officers died that day on January 6, none, not one,” he said. “That fact is available to anyone who has internet access.”



Addressing another leftist talking point, the television host asked, “Is January 6 the worst assault on the U.S. government since the Civil War? That’s insane. It’s not even close. How about March of 1954, when Puerto Rican separatists shot five congressmen in the Capitol building – five members of Congress shot in the building.



“It’s all bad, but the worst since the Civil War? You’re just a flat-out liar if you’re saying that.”



Contrasting other attacks on the government, Carlson cited The Government Accountability Office, which showed 114 police officers were actually assaulted on January 6 while “at least 180 officers” were injured during an Antifa riot in Washington in 2020 that sought to drive President Donald Trump from office while attempting to burn down St. John’s Church on Lafayette Square.



“While stipulating that all riots are bad because precision matters, facts matter, the truth matters, here’s the truth: More cops were injured by Kamala Harris’ favorite mob, BLM, at the White House than were injured by Trump voters at the Capitol on January 6, a lot more,” he said.



“So, again, to be clear, both events are bad, but here’s the key: We only remember one of them. Why? Because the people in charge of history are liars – liars, and lying is bad and on a national scale, it’s deadly. It’s corrosive of everything that is good in the country, including trust and your grasp on reality itself,” Carlson explained.



He went on to review the saga of Jacob Chansley, the so-called “QAnon Shaman” replaying a segment of Monday night’s broadcast showing how the Capitol police acted as “tour guides” for this man escorting him through the building and assisting him in accessing the Senate Chamber.


Chansley, a Navy veteran from Arizona, is currently serving a prison sentence of almost four years, despite no evidence of his being violent and new surveillance tape showing him walking unarmed through the Capitol corridors, escorted by two police officers, and passing untouched through at least seven others.

“This was not a domestic terrorist,” Carlson explained, “but what matters even more is the videos that we showed you after 26 months were not shown to Jacob Chansley’s attorneys. That’s a violation of the Constitution. and he’s in jail because of it, because the liars on the January 6 Committee and the prosecutors who did their bidding, and that means Bennie Thompson and that means Adam Schiff. It means Liz Cheney. These people have this man’s life on their hands.”



“They helped withhold these videos from Jacob Chansley’s attorneys and that means the judge who sentenced Jacob Chansley [as well],” he said.



Introducing Chansley’s attorney, Mr. Albert Watkins, on the show, Carlson explained he had not even seen that footage of his client prior to the show’s broadcasting it on Monday, which the guest confirmed on air as well.







Classifying Chansley as a man of “tremendous intelligence, very gentle, very articulate” with a diagnosed mental health issue, Watkins said “the most important aspect of that hearing was that Jake was not violent.”



“The government knew that Jake had walked around with all of these police officers. They had that video footage. I didn’t get it. It wasn’t disclosed to me,” the attorney lamented. “I filed the requisite pleading for it, and whether I did or not, they had a duty, an absolute duty with zero discretion to provide it to me so that I could show my client. I never got it.”



“What’s happened is truly a dagger in the heart of our American justice system. We can’t allow it,” he said. “This is about our justice system being so compromised. The very integrity and core of that which we wore is a badge of honor for the entirety of our nation’s history has been rendered a vile, disgusting mess by a Department of Justice that was running amok.”



“And but for you disclosing it, I don’t know where we’d be. Why they’re attacking you makes no sense at all, because by doing that, they’re shrouding in secrecy, or trying to, their own assault on Democracy,” he said.



In his monologue, Carlson emphasized that these “details matter because this is a man, this is an American citizen, a Navy veteran. This is a human being and so what he actually did should be of deep concern to every American because he’s in jail tonight.”



And addressing criticisms against Carlson’s exposé by Washington politicians like Democrat majority leader Sen. Chuck Schumer and even prominent Republicans like minority leader Mitch McConnell, and Lindsey Graham, the television host said, “it just tells you everything about the way things actually work. They’re not loyal to their voters. They are loyal to each other, and they’re willing to lie, really lie and crush people.”



“So, all we did was play the tape that they had been hiding for 26 months and show that there were American citizens, Jacob Chansley specifically, and others whose civil liberties were annihilated. And you can make your own rational judgments about what that means. Do you want to live in a country where that’s possible? They don’t care. Neither party in Washington cares,” he said.



“In fact, the leader of the Senate Democrats, Chuck Schumer, just joined the leader of the Senate Republicans, Mitch McConnell, in calling for this show to be pulled off the air. Now, that’s not an argument based on logic. It’s based on hysteria and the shame you feel as a weak and terrified person when your lies are exposed,” he continued.



“We invited Schumer on, McConnell, anybody is always welcome to come on our show. If we got something wrong, tell us how. If you think we altered the tape in some way, tell us how.



“But they won’t, nor will they answer the most basic question, which is: Why should a demonstrably nonviolent man, who literally said a prayer of thanksgiving for police officers on the Senate floor, how was that man ISIS? How was he a domestic terrorist? How is he a threat to the republic? Why is he in jail for four years? [Their response:] ‘Shut up. Pull that show off the air.’”

PURE EVIL: DOJ Responds to Tucker Carlson Video Footage of Peaceful Q-Shaman Being Escorted Through US Capitol – Says It “Lacks Context”

The DOJ today responded to Tucker Carlson’s report last Monday on the Q-Anon Shaman Jacob Chansley being escorted by Capitol Police through the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.



Chansley committed no violence. He said a prayer in the Senate chamber thanking the police for their service. He asked for permission to enter the US Capitol shortly after he entered the building.



Chansley pleaded guilty to obstruction of an official proceeding – a new charge that is only used on Trump supporters, not leftists who disrupt Congress on a regular basis.



Today Jacob Chansley is serving 41 months for his crime of being an eccentric Trump supporter.

The DOJ, Democrats and the fake news delight in the new rules where Trump supporters serve years in prison for walking through the US Capitol peacefully with a police escort.



The DOJ under the leadership of serial liar Merrick Garland put out a statement on Sunday saying the footage released by Tucker Carlson “lacks context.”



Do they have more damning video of Chansley committing violence that day or threatening police? No they don’t. But Tucker’s footage “lacks context.”

The Justice Department in a new filing put forward its most direct response yet to footage aired last week by Fox News host Tucker Carlson that sought to downplay the actions of the self-described “QAnon Shaman,” who was convicted and sentenced to prison for storming the Capitol on Jan. 6.



In a response to a filing from a defendant charged with seditious conspiracy alongside other members of the Proud Boys currently on trial — who has sought to have his case dismissed in part over the newly-aired footage — prosecutors argued the roughly four minutes aired by Carlson of Jacob Chansley’s movements “lacks the context” of what Chansley actually did during the roughly hour-long period he was inside the building.



They revealed the video aired by Carlson was captured on internal CCTV cameras “only from approximately 2:56 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.,” after Chansley had already breached a police line with the mob and “faced off with members of the U.S. Capitol Police for more than thirty minutes in front of the Senate Chamber doors while elected officials, including the Vice President of the United States, were fleeing from the chamber.”



Let’s hope FOX News brass allow Tucker Carlson to refute the latest lies by the DOJ and fake news.



We are in a dark place in the country’s history when you cannot trust the Department of Justice or the mainstream news media.
