It's that thing in the WH who should be arrested, tried for treason, and HUNG! More on Possible Trump Indictment: Fox News Reports Final Preparations Being Made to Arrest Trump Next Week… He will “Be Fingerprinted and Processed”
By Cristina Laila Mar. 17, 2023 8:10 pm As reported earlier law enforcement agencies are preparing for a possible Trump indictment as early as next week. Earlier this year the Manhattan District Attorney’s office revived its criminal investigation into Trump’s ‘hush payments’ to porn star Stephanie Clifford, AKA, Stormy Daniels and elevated the case from a misdemeanor to a felony. Trump has been accused of paying Daniels ‘hush payments’ in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer. Trump has denied the affair. President Trump didn’t testify to the Manhattan grand jury this week. Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina blasted the prosecutors in the Stormy case earlier this week. “It’s not what we do. This is not what we do. We are distorting laws to try and bag President Trump. I don’t know if it’s because he’s leading in the polls,” Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina said on Good Morning America. “I don’t know what it is, but this prosecutor and this prosecutor’s office has made an agenda. They have scoured his personal life and business life for seven years to try to find something.” Fox News reported Friday evening that final preparations are being made to arrest Trump next week. The Manhattan DA’s office asked for a meeting with law enforcement ahead of the possible Trump indictment. Trump will “be fingerprinted and processed like every other defendant” – Fox News reported. The Secret Service will make the decision to handcuff Trump or not. Alan Dershowitz Overrules Manhattan DA, Says Trump Will Win On Appeal: “Highly questionable campaign contribution provision that has never before been used in a comparable situation”
David Hawkins March 18, 2023 - 1:51 pm Alan Dershowitz broke his silence on the bombshell news that former President Donald Trump said he will be arrested Tuesday by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg is reportedly bringing criminal charges against Trump stemming from a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels. Alan said: “There are two systems of justice in the United States and our justice system is in deep trouble. We’ve created a special system of justice for Donald Trump. This is selective, targeted prosecution. The indictment itself if, it comes forward would be an act of hypercreativity. “They have targeted Trump. The attorney general of New York ran on the campaign, Get Trump. Bragg essentially did the same thing. They rummaged for years to try to find something. They gave immunity to witnesses. They couldn’t find a real statute, so they put statutes together.” “I don’t think they’ll be a motion to dismiss that succeeds. This is New York justice. In New York, of course you can indict a ham sandwich. “But in New York, you can also convict a ham sandwich because the jury pool will be very much against Trump and the judges will be very much against Trump. “So, if I were him, I would be worried today. “He’ll probably ultimately win on appeal, but do judges today have the courage – if they run for election as prosecutors run for election – to do something favorable to Trump in a city which overwhelmingly despises Trump? That’s what’s wrong with this justice system. “Does anyone actually believe that if someone else were accused of paying hush money to avoid a sex scandal in the manner that Mr. Trump is suspected of doing, he would be prosecuted? “After spending months searching the criminal code for a law that Mr. Trump might be accused of violating, Mr. Bragg has apparently landed on a highly questionable campaign contribution provision that has never before been used in a comparable situation. “As Jackson also presciently observed: “With the law books filled with a great assortment of crimes, a prosecutor stands a fair chance of finding at least a technical violation of some act on the part of almost anyone.” “He added: “In such a case, it is not a question of discovering the commission of a crime and then looking for the man who has committed it, it is a question of picking the man and then searching the law books, or putting investigators to work, to pin some offense on him.” “Not to compare Mr. Bragg’s NYC to Stalin’s Soviet Union, a sordid episode from the past does come to mind: the notorious head of the KGB, Lavrentiy Beria, once said to Stalin: “show me the man, and I will find you the crime.” “Closer to home, J. Edgar Hoover would often target his political enemies for investigation. Or as a South American dictator once threatened: “for my friends everything; for my enemies the law.“ “All decent people, whether politically opposed to Mr. Trump (as I am) or supportive of his candidacy, should be concerned about this weaponizing of the prosecutor’s office for the political purpose of preventing a potential candidate from running for office. “Today this insidious tactic is being used by a Democratic prosecutor against a Republican candidate. “In 2016, efforts were made to use it against the Democratic candidate. “No one knows who tomorrow’s target will be, since the precedent will ”lie around like a loaded weapon,” to be misused by any ambitious prosecutor in a partisan manner,” Alan said. “Equal protection of the law requires equal application and non-application of criminal statutes. “Mr. Bragg would be violating that important principle if he seeks a grand jury indictment based on what now appears to be the slim evidence and even slimmer legal basis.” link

Majorie Taylor Greene Calls For Biden’s Impeachment Over Trump Arrest: ‘As soon as our Oversight Committee comes out with proof about Biden family, they decide to arrest Trump’
David Hawkins March 18, 2023 - 1:20 pm GOP Rep Majorie Taylor Greene called for President Joe Biden to be impeached following the bombshell news that former President Donald Trump expects to be arrested Tuesday by the Manhattan District Attorney. She said: “Of course as soon as our Oversight Committee comes out with REAL PROOF that the entire Biden family was getting paid by CHINA for influence and favors from Joe Biden, these communists thugs decide to arrest Trump. IMPEACH JOE BIDEN!!! “And it’s not even political like Trump impeachments, it’s actually deserved. I introduced articles of impeachment on Joe Biden last Congress for everything in this video (See Below)and this Congress we are bringing the receipts in upcoming Oversight Committee hearings. “I’ve said from Day 1: Impeach Joe Biden. The Democrats hate President Trump and want him in jail, and he never committed a crime. “GOP Oversight is going after the Biden Crime Family for their years of corruption benefiting off public office, and we already have the proof. She accused Biden’s Department of Justice of coordinating with New York prosecutors to get Trump. She said: “Biden’s DOJ is coordinating with the Democrat Manhattan DA to arrest Donald Trump, the top Republican Presidential candidate for 2024, and charge him with a fake outdated misdemeanor charge. “It’s ALL FOR POLITICS! “This is what they do in communists countries to destroy their political opponents! Republicans in Congress MUST subpoena these communists and END this! “We have the power to do it and we also have the power to DEFUND their salaries and departments! Enough of this! “The American people deserve a government that actually works for them NOT a bunch of self centered communists who bail out their donors, protect the elites, and weld their power to punish their political enemies! “We must bring in the Biden DOJ officials who have been coordinating with the Manhattan DA to testify. And subpoena all of it. We must end the weaponization of government power for politics.” link

Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls on Voters to Beat Dems at Ballot Box over Trump Arrest: ‘These Idiots Are Sealing Their Own Fate’
David Hawkins March 18, 2023 - 12:51 pm Republican Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has blasted efforts by a Democrat prosecutor in New York to arrest President Donald Trump next week. Greene ripped the impending arrest being plotted by George Soros-installed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. The congresswoman argues that the move will seal the Democrats’ fate at the ballot box in 2024. Greene said: “We don’t need to protest about the Communists Democrat’s planning to arrest Pres Trump and the political weaponization of our government and election interference. “These idiots are sealing their own fate in 2024 because the silent majority has two feelings right now about the current regime. Fear and anger. That is the most powerful combination when election time comes. “And the Democrats are driving that force with their own corrupt actions. “Biden’s DOJ is coordinating with the Democrat Manhattan DA to arrest Donald Trump, the top Republican Presidential candidate for 2024, and charge him with a fake outdated misdemeanor charge. “It’s ALL FOR POLITICS! “This is what they do in communist countries to destroy their political opponents! Republicans in Congress MUST subpoena these communists and END this! “We have the power to do it and we also have the power to DEFUND their salaries and departments! We must end the weaponization of government power for politics.” Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said: “Virtually every campaign finance violation involves either 1) spending other people’s money illegally or 2) taking money into your campaign that you shouldn’t. “Trump did neither. He used his own money to resolve a private dispute, irrespective of any campaign. “The impending indictment is based on an untested, tortured legal theory. This is an absurd abuse of the criminal process in our politics. It must be seen for the partisan pathetic ploy it is.” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) said: “The impending indictment of President Trump in NY must be treated as it is: a politically-motivated prosecution based on a strained, convoluted legal theory. “It makes clear the danger of a politicized ‘justice’ system that will be (is being) weaponized against ALL Americans.” link

Elon Musk: ‘Trump Will Be Re-Elected in Landslide Victory’ If Manhattan DA Arrests Him Tuesday
David Hawkins March 18, 2023 - 10:36 am Twitter boss Elon Musk has warned Democrats that President Donald Trump win the 2024 election “in a landslide victory” if New York prosecutors arrest him next week. As Slay News reported, Trump said he will be arrested Tuesday by the “highly political” George Soros-installed Manhatten District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Bragg is pursuing Trump for a misdemeanor campaign finance charge that, if it ever goes to trial, the 45th president will beat, just like John Edwards did. Fox News reported that authorities have been making preparations for the arrest and that Trump will be allowed to surrender but will still be handcuffed and fingerprinted. If cameras catch that moment or it leaks you will know this is more political than it is now. Even loud Trump critics are saying this reeks of politics and will backfire on the Democrats. Trump confirmed the reports in a post on Truth Social, saying: “Now illegal leaks from a corrupt & highly political Manhattan district attorneys office, which has allowed new records to be set in violent crime & whose leader is funded by George Soros, indicate that, with no crime being able to be proven, & based on an old & fully debunked (by numerous other prosecutors!) fairytale, the far & away leading republican candidate & former president of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week.” Enter Elon Musk who said: “If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory.” Anti-Trump former Bush adviser David Frum agrees with Musk. He wrote: “Former presidential candidate John Edwards was indicted in 2011 for redirecting other people’s money to buy an ex-lover’s silence. “He was acquitted. Lesson: juries allow leeway for messy personal lives, even if the mess generates a campaign finance violation. “Given that precedent, it’s very surprising to me that New York State prosecutors would pursue a criminal prosecution of Donald Trump on the Stormy Daniels matter. “What’s especially worrying about the reportedly pending indictment of Trump is the risk that prosecutors may think: Edwards was only acquitted because he faced a friendly jury in North Carolina – but Trump can be convicted because may face an unfriendly jury in New York. “This is a bad mistake.” link

Soros-Funded New York City DA Alvin Bragg Meets with NYC Law Enforcement to Discuss Logistics for Arresting President Trump on Junk Stormy Daniels Charges
By Jim Hoft Mar. 18, 2023 8:00 am Corrupt New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg received $1 million from Soros in his election for NYC DA. As a result, New York City saw a rise in crime from 2021 to 2022. The overall index crime in New York City increased in September 2022, by 15.2% compared with September 2021. But crime can wait, DA Alvin Bragg has bigger fish to fry. The corrupt Soros-funded DA is going after President Donald Trump. And he is using Stormy Daniels as his means to get the former president. Almost one year ago this month the 9th Circuit Court issued a final ruling in the case brought against Trump by disgraced attorney Michael Avenatti and Stormy. Daniels was ordered to pay President Trump $300,000 in legal fees. But suddenly Bragg has somehow rinsed off this case and he is going after President Trump again using the washed-up stripper. FOX News reported on Friday that final preparations are being made to arrest Donald Trump next week. The persecution of Donald Trump never ends. And now, according to FOX5 in New York City, Alvin Bragg’s office is meeting with law enforcement to discuss logistics for President Trump’s indictment next week. The Manhattan District Attorney’s office has asked for a meeting with law enforcement ahead of a possible indictment of former President Donald Trump next week, according to a court source. According to the source, the meeting was requested Thursday and hasn’t been set. The meeting is to “discuss logistics for some time next week, which would mean that they are anticipating an indictment next week,” the source familiar with the planning said. Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung reacted to the news by ripping district attorney Alvin Bragg in a statement to Fox News Digital, calling his investigation a “witch hunt” and accusing him of being in the pocket of President Biden and “radical Democrats.” “President Donald J. Trump is completely innocent, he did nothing wrong, and even the biggest, most Radical Left Democrats are making that clear,” Cheung said. “From Russia, Russia, Russia, to the Mueller Hoax, to Impeachment Hoaxes 1 and 2, and even the Unlawful Mar-a-Lago Raid, Democrats have investigated and attacked President Trump since before he was elected – and they’ve failed every time.” More at link

Hunter Biden’s Lawyers Seeking Depositions From Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani
By Cristina Laila Mar. 18, 2023 4:50 pm Hunter Biden’s lawyers told a federal judge on Friday they are seeking to depose Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani in a countersuit regarding Hunter’s laptop. Hunter Biden is suing John Paul Mac Isaac, the Delaware computer repairman who attempted to fix Hunter’s damaged computers in 2019. John Paul Mac Isaac’s life changed in April 2019 when a visibly drunk Hunter Biden stopped by his computer repair shop with three damaged MacBook Pro laptops. One was destroyed beyond repair and he gave that back to Hunter. The other required a keyboard that he loaned to Hunter. He never got that keyboard back. The third laptop Hunter left with Mac Isaac to fix. Hunter Biden never returned to John Paul Mac Isaac’s repair shop to retrieve his property. After many failed attempts to reach Hunter Biden, John Paul Mac Isaac took lawful ownership of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop. Now Hunter Biden is suing John Paul Mac Isaac and is seeking punitive damages. Hunter’s lawyers are also targeting Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani for ‘disseminating’ Hunter Biden’s data for political purposes. NBC News reported: Lawyers for Hunter Biden stepped up their legal offensive against top Trump allies on Friday by filing a countersuit regarding the alleged dissemination of Biden’s electronic data and notifying a federal judge of their intention to seek depositions from Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani. The court filings include a lawsuit targeting John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer repair shop owner who said Hunter Biden abandoned a water-damaged laptop at his Wilmington, Delaware, store about 18 months before the 2020 election. Biden’s attorneys are alleging invasion of privacy and argue Mac Isaac helped copy and disseminate Hunter Biden’s data for political and commercial purposes. In the lawsuit, Biden is seeking the return of any copy of his data, compensatory and punitive damages for Mac Isaac’s “willful, wanton and reckless conduct,” as well as reimbursement of attorneys fees. The countersuit and responses to Mac Isaac’s original lawsuit cite public statements that Mac Isaac, Bannon, Giuliani and others have made regarding their involvement with Hunter Biden’s electronic data. The new suit alleges that Delaware law did not permit Mac Isaac to access or copy the data, drawing a distinction between abandoned “equipment” and data on or embedded within a device. link

After Trump Arrest Story Hits, McCarthy Issues Immediate Orders to Help Ex-POTUS
By Jack Davis March 18, 2023 at 4:47pm House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Saturday issued a Twitter volley in support of former President Donald Trump. On Friday, NBC News reported that an indictment against Trump could come next week related to payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016 when she claimed she had an affair with Trump, something he has always denied. On Saturday, Trump posted a call for action in two blazing all-caps posts on his Truth Social platform. “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK,” he wrote, adding, “PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” That set the stage for McCarthy to tweet a chastisement of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. “Here we go again — an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump,” McCarthy wrote. McCarthy also flexed the power that comes with having a Republican majority in the House. “I’m directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions,” he wrote. Here we go again — an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump. During an event in Iowa, former Vice President Mike Pence — who has distanced himself from Trump over the events of Jan. 6, 2021 — echoed McCarthy, calling any indictment “politically motivated” and “troubling,” according to the Iowa Capital Dispatch. “Well, here we go again. Another politically charged prosecution of the former president of the United States,” Pence said. Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said any indictment would be part of an effort to “destroy Donald Trump,” according to Fox News. “You know why they’re doing this? Because they’re afraid of Trump. That’s why they’re doing it,” he said. Related: Breaking: Trump Says He Will Be Arrested on Tuesday: 'Protest, Take Our Nation Back!' In New York City, “you’re lucky if you don’t get mugged on the way to where you’re going. Is this really the most important thing going on in Manhattan?” Graham asked. “They’re making stuff up that they’ve never used against anybody because they hate Trump. That’s what this is.” link

Skeleton Crawls From Hillary Clinton’s Closet, Gets Trump Off The Hook In New York Case
David HawkinsMarch 18, 2023 - 6:36 pm The Manhattan District Attorney, at least according to Donald Trump, is going to arrest the former president for a misdemeanor campaign finance violation. New York, like the rest of our Dem-run cities, pushed bail and criminal justice reform on the public with disastrous results. The programs sound good on paper but fall far short in reality. Cities like New York, Chicago, LA, and Portland have seen violent crime explode after the reforms were put in place. Only a small percentage of the population commits violent crimes and when blue cities let the felons out with no bail or on electronic monitoring, the habitual criminals did what habitual criminals do, they committed more crimes. When Chicago catches a carjacker there is a near guarantee the thug is on bail or EM and has a long rap sheet. So going after Trump for a misdemeanor seems like petty politics. And when you look at the skeleton that just crawled out of Hillary Clinton’s closet, the New York case looks even more political. Because Hillary Clinton was busted breaking campaign finance laws and paid a fine, along with the DNC, to settle the issue. She was not arrested. From Politico March 2022: The DNC and the Clinton campaign collectively agreed to pay $113,000 in fines, according to separate conciliation agreements the agency made with both parties. The DNC will pay $105,000 and the Clinton campaign $8,000. The FEC conciliation agreements were made public Wednesday. The conciliation agreements found “probable cause to believe” that both the campaign and national party “misreport[ed] the purpose of certain disbursements” when they said certain payments to Perkins Coie were for legal fees. The pair of agreements were signed for the Democratic groups on Feb. 16 by Graham Wilson, an attorney who was formerly at Perkins Coie and is now at the Elias Law Group. In the agreements, the DNC and Clinton campaign contend that they believed they properly disclosed the spending. The agreements read that the party and campaign do “not concede, but will not further contest the Commission’s finding,” in order to settle the matters and not incur more legal costs. According to CBS: The Federal Election Commission has fined Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign $8,000 and the Democratic National Committee $105,000 for obscuring their funding of the “Steele dossier,” a 2016 opposition research report that sought to highlight alleged links between Donald Trump and Russia. The bipartisan election commission also dismissed a complaint against Christopher Steele, the author of the dossier that caused a firestorm of allegations and investigations that shook the early months of Trump’s presidency. The campaign mislabeled Steele’s work as “legal services” and “legal and compliance consulting” in campaign filings, the FEC concluded. Steele and the campaign were notified of the FEC’s decision Tuesday. A spokesperson for the Democratic National Committee acknowledged that it agreed to pay the FEC’s fine, but said it had “settled aging and silly complaints from the 2016 election about ‘purpose descriptions’ in our FEC report.” The FEC’s ruling was in response to a complaint filed in 2018 by the conservative advocacy group the Coolidge Reagan Foundation. Paul Kamenar, a member of the Coolidge Reagan Foundation’s advisory board, called the DNC spokesperson’s description “appalling” in a phone call with CBS News. “It’s outrageous that the DNC would minimize the serious violation that took place by calling campaign disclosure laws ‘silly’ violations,” said Kamenar, who added that he believes the FEC should have made a criminal referral to the Justice Department. link

Jim Jordan: ‘Real America Knows’ Trump Arrest ‘Is All a Sham’
Frank Bergman March 19, 2023 - 10:49 am Republican House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) has blasted the “sham” plans by Democrat prosecutors in New York to arrest President Donald Trump next week. Jordan warned that “real America” knows the truth behind the anti-Trump effort. “God Bless President Trump,” Jordan wrote on Twitter. “Real America knows this is all a sham.” As Slay News reported, rumors began to emerge on Friday night that George Soros’ Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was making preparations to arrest Trump next week. President Trump later confirmed the reports and revealed they plan to arrest him on Tuesday. In a post on Truth Social Saturday morning, Trump wrote: ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK! The office is “investigating” Trump alleged role in hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels. Bragg is hoping to charge Trump with a felony over a misdemeanor campaign finance violation. Meanwhile, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) slammed plans to arrest Trump. Greene argues that the effort is intended to hurt his campaign. “This is what they do in communist countries,” she stated, adding the case was a wild example of how leftists want to destroy Trump. She also predicted that “Trump will win in the biggest landslide victory if they arrest him. People are furious!” Jordan’s followers were quick to react to his post. One individual wrote, “Hopefully Alvin Bragg can be brought before this House after what he’s done to our President.” Another person called the efforts against Trump “a desperate attempt to shift focus from the Biden family corruption.” link

Democrat Party’s Expected Arrest of Donald Trump: This Is What Communists Do When They Know They Own Elections
By Joe Hoft Mar. 19, 2023 12:00 pm1 When reporters, journalists, or your friends suggest that the Democrat Party is acting like a Communist party, it’s because THEY ARE acting like third world Communists. This Twitter thread by Senator JD Vance says it all. The thread starts off with the WaPo’s Josh Dawsey pushing another hit piece on President Trump, trying to explain how it now makes sense to make a misdemeanor a felony that occurred six years ago as long as it takes down President Trump. Ohio Senator J.D. Vance responded to Dawsey’s tweet noting that Bragg’s case is garbage and that the this same District Attorney is allowing criminals to run free in New York City. He rightly claims that these actions taken by Democrat public officials are third-world tactics. Then Vance opines that this will cause President Trump to win in a landslide in 2024. But why does this not scare Democrats or prevent them from acting like communist tyrants? The reason is that the Democrats know that they are going to win the next election. They don’t know who will win, they don’t yet know the name of the Democrat winner, they just know they will win. Communist leader Lenin stole elections in Russia and then after multiple elections, the election process was over. That is what communists do. After the stolen 2020 Election the first bill that the Democrats put on the table was HR1 – a bill to codify their election tricks and gimmicks into perpetuity. This bill didn’t pass but the state of New Mexico just passed a similar bill. The Democrats don’t seem pressured to pass any more bills or make any changes. They are charging ahead with their madness and destruction of the Constitution and the country. America must work to ensure elections are free and fair. Voter IDs are necessary to identify who is voting. Accurate voter rolls are necessary as well. Elections should be held on one day and votes should all be counted that evening and certified at the precinct level. Machines should not be used if they are not auditable at the local level and currently they are not. The Democrats are fighting against all of this. They cannot win without the ability to manipulate the numbers. They act like they believe they have the next election won already. This is very suspicious. And that is why they are going after President Trump. They know they can do this without consequence. More at link

Peaceful Prayer Protests Are Being Called for President Trump Across the Country
By Joe Hoft Mar. 19, 2023 6:00 pm Yesterday President Trump called for protests against his being arrested by the corrupt and criminal Soros-Backed DA in New York, Alvin Bragg. The President Shared in a two-part Truth: OUR NATION IS NOW THIRD WORLD & DYING. THE AMERICAN DREAM IS DEAD! Speaker Kevin McCarthy BLASTS Corrupt DA Alvin Bragg for His Politicized Investigation of President Trump
By Jim Hoft Mar. 19, 2023 5:40 pm Earlier this year the Manhattan District Attorney’s office revived its criminal investigation into Trump’s ‘hush payments’ to porn star Stephanie Clifford, AKA, Stormy Daniels in 2016 and unilaterally elevated the case from a misdemeanor to a felony. Trump has been accused of paying Daniels ‘hush payments’ in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer. This is also called a “nondisclosure agreement” – something that takes place Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina blasted the prosecutors in the Stormy case earlier this week. They have scoured his personal life and business life for seven years to try to find something.” Earlier today President Trump posted on TRUTH Social that he will be arrested on Tuesday. He called for protests against this travesty of justice – something you’d see in a third world country. On Saturday, Speaker Kevin McCarthy responded to this latest assault on President Trump. McCarthy announced that the US House will investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert democracy by interfering with elections through political attacks. But he was not finished. On Sunday Speaker McCarthy OBLITERATED Alvin Bragg and his politicized persecution of President Trump in his latest tweet. McCarthy pointed out that Bragg initiated new policies as DA that lessened felonies to misdemeanors – but was doing the exact opposite with President Trump. The crime rate in New York City is soaring under Alvin Bragg and Democrats. It’s not a secret that New York is suffering under Alvin Bragg. And yet he is devoting his time and resources to create a junk charge against President Trump? How long do we have to put up with this crap? link

Donald Trump Plays Ace Card, Announces Last Minute Surprise Witness Who Will Testify To Grand Jury Tomorrow
David Hawkins March 19, 2023 - 5:36 pm Former President Donald Trump played his ace card and announced he has a surprise witness who will testify tomorrow to the New York grand jury that will decide his fate. The grand jury will hear two more witnesses tomorrow and then will vote for or against Trump’s indictment. Michael Cohen’s former attorney, Robert Costello, will testify on Trump’s behalf tomorrow. Michael Cohen said he will also testify to try to refute what Costello will say. Cohen testified earlier. So the indictment may never happen after all. If it does, it will flop if it is solely about Stormy Daniels. Trump said: “Just reported that the most important witness to go before the new york city grand jury, a highly respected lawyer who once represented convicted felon, jailbird, and serial fake storyteller and liar, Michael Cohen, will be doing so tomorrow afternoon. “The information he will present will supposedly be conclusive and irrefutable! witch hunt. According to Insider: The grand jury meets in secret on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, and will next convene for three hours on Monday. The grand jurors must hear all evidence and then be informed of the relevant law — called being “charged” — by prosecutors before they can begin deliberations and voting. If these tasks are not completed in three hours, grand jurors would return Wednesday afternoon to continue working. link

Hold Everything: Now Trump Will Likely NOT Be Arrested, at Least on Tuesday
BY ROBERT SPENCER 10:29 AM ON MARCH 19, 2023 Donald Trump announced on Saturday morning that he would be arrested on Tuesday, and the nation has been agog at the prospect of the Leftist establishment crossing the rubicon of arresting its principal opponent on flimsy charges and demonstrating before the entire world that the American republic is now the American banana republic, in which foes of the regime can expect the full weight of corrupt government authority pushing back against them for daring to dissent. But now it turns out that the Manhattan district attorney’s office, which has Trump in its sights, just may be stepping back from the brink: Business Insider reported Saturday night that Trump’s indictment is “on hold” until one more witness testifies Monday afternoon. That’s about all that has come to light, as the relevant authorities are being quite closemouthed about this whole thing. Insider says that “a source with knowledge of the investigation” told them on Saturday night “there is one more witness.” The indictment is apparently not a certainty until this witness testifies. But who is this witness? The Insider’s source wouldn’t say, and so all that we’re told is that “a separate source, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, told Insider that the witness is not Allen Weisselberg, Trump’s former CFO, who is serving a five-month sentence for admittedly masterminding a payroll tax-dodge scheme at the Trump Organization.” Meanwhile, Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen, whose betrayal of his former client started this whole business about Trump having paid hush money to a porn star (which is what he might be arrested for, not any of the literally dozens of other crimes that Democrats have claimed he has committed over the last few years, up to and including trying to overthrow the government of the United States), “has told reporters he expected to be the grand jury’s final witness when he testified last Monday and Wednesday.” So whoever is slated to appear on Monday is a surprise witness. Insider notes that the grand jury “could conceivably reach a vote” on whether or not actually to indict Trump for trying to buy a hooker’s silence “by the end of Monday’s three-hour session,” but that’s not likely to happen, as “experts” say that “there are several steps between the final testimony and the vote.” Now, if we have learned anything over the last few years, it’s not to trust the confident assertions of “experts,” but this could well mean that Trump will not be indicted on Tuesday, as there simply won’t be time after the surprise witness testimony on Monday to go through all the necessary steps to issue the indictment. “Once testimony concludes, prosecutors will ‘charge’ the jury, meaning go through the potential counts on a charge sheet one by one, explaining each count in the potential indictment.” Several other steps follow that before there can be any indictment. linkThe principal charge is expected to be a felony, “falsifying business records in the first degree,” which would be based on the claim that Trump was involved in falsifying records to conceal the payment to the porn “actress.” Meanwhile, Trump continues to deny that he had any liaison with the porn star at all, and certainly there are precedents for wealthy individuals and groups paying out sums to claimants even though they know the claims are false, just to get them to go away. The fact that this one didn’t is, of course, directly related to the fact that Trump became president and challenged the hegemony of the Leftist elites. Trump has called this “hush money” prosecution a “Scam, Injustice, Mockery, and a Complete and Total Weaponization of Law Enforcement in order to affect a Presidential Election!” Well, yeah. The Left’s reaction to Donald Trump’s political career has from the beginning been a classic case of a conviction in search of a crime. Charging their foes with bogus crimes is a venerable and tested Leftist tactic, going back to Stalin’s trials of his former Bolshevik comrades, whom he forced to confess to various fabricated charges of subversion in order to justify his executing them and consolidating his power as an unquestioned autocrat. In the U.S., the Democrats enjoyed tremendous gains in both houses of Congress and won the presidency on the strength of Watergate, and they’ve never forgotten that lesson; in fact, tarring their opponents as criminals on bogus charges has become a cornerstone of their political strategy. And that is a prelude to treating them like actual criminals, complete with arrests, handcuffs, and perp walks. Whether or not it comes Tuesday, it’s coming.

Surprise Trump Grand Jury Witness Revealed
BY MATT MARGOLIS 10:06 PM ON MARCH 19, 2023 Last week, we learned that the Manhattan district attorney’s office was preparing to indict former President Donald Trump as early as next week. On Saturday, Trump responded to those reports, saying his potential arrest would occur on Tuesday. He also called for protests over the blatant abuse of the justice system that has been targeting him for years. Then, on Sunday, the potential indictment and arrest was put on hold, reportedly over a new surprise witness, though it was unclear whom that witness would be… until now. Trump posted on Truth Social that “the most important witness” will testify before the grand jury on Monday. According to Trump, the surprise witness is “a highly respected lawyer.” “THE INFORMATION HE WILL PRESENT WILL SUPPOSEDLY BE CONCLUSIVE AND IRREFUTABLE! WITCH HUNT!!!” Trump posted in all-caps because… well, why not? A source with knowledge of the “hush-money” investigation has confirmed to the New York Times that Rudy Giuliani lawyer Robert Costello, a former legal advisor to Michael Cohen, will be appearing before the grand jury on Monday with the sole intention of undermining Cohen’s credibility. Meanwhile, Cohen, the former lawyer for Donald Trump and star prosecution witness, has made himself available on Monday in case prosecutors decide to call him to provide rebuttal testimony against Costello. Cohen, who has a questionable reputation, has claimed that he does not know the reason behind Costello’s testimony. “I don’t have any idea as to why, at this stage, would you even need that,” Cohen told Insider. “And I don’t want to speculate,” he added. “Nor do I want to start doing what Donald does, which is just to put out more s—t.” According to Trump, Costello has “conclusive and irrefutable” evidence that should exonerate him. What is this evidence? Who knows? But experts have already said that the case against Trump is ridiculously weak. But hey, maybe Costello can provide solid evidence that will make it impossible for even a partisan grand jury and a partisan prosecutor to go forward with bogus charges. “It is unclear if Costello is testifying on the request of Trump defense lawyers or on the request of grand jurors,” explains Insider. “Both are possible, according to former Manhattan financial-crimes prosecutor Diana Florence.” Well, one mystery solved, but what’s going to happen next? link

Trump and Hillary Have Been Accused of the Same Crime, but Hillary Never Faced Potential Arrest
BY MATT MARGOLIS 1:23 PM ON MARCH 19, 2023 There’s a possibility of former President Donald Trump being indicted and arrested as early as next week over alleged campaign finance violations. Recent reports suggest that the indictment is now “on hold” in order to have another witness testify, but the threat of a potential arrest still looms. The justice system is supposed to be blind to political affiliations and treat all individuals equally under the law. It’s hard to deny that there seems to be a double standard when it comes to the way justice is applied to those on the left versus those on the right. The mere possibility of Donald Trump facing possible arrest and charges for something that, at most, might result in a minor fine for a Democrat is a prime example of this disparity. Just look at Hillary Clinton. Last year, the Federal Election Commission fined Hillary Clinton for misreporting payments made to a law firm during the 2016 campaign to hide spending. The law firm in question was Perkins Coie, which hired Fusion GPS to conduct research that resulted in the Steele Dossier, which was later used by Congress to impeach Trump. Clinton classified these expenses as “legal services” and was fined $113,000 for the misrepresentation. “By intentionally obscuring their payments through Perkins Coie and failing to publicly disclose the true purpose of those payments,” Hillary’s presidential campaign and DNC “were able to avoid publicly reporting on their statutorily required FEC disclosure forms the fact that they were paying Fusion GPS to perform opposition research on Trump with the intent of influencing the outcome of the 2016 presidential election,” the initial complaint read per the Associated Press. In contrast, Trump is currently facing potential felony charges for recording alleged payments made to his attorney, who then allegedly used the money to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels. These payments were originally classified as legal fees, and the legal fallout from them could be severe, despite the fact that both he and Clinton are essentially being accused of the same crime. Trump denies the allegations, but even if they are true, Trump attempted to conceal a relationship that he did not want to become public knowledge. In contrast, Clinton and her presidential campaign commissioned the creation of a document loaded with false information in the hopes of damaging Trump’s presidential prospects. That document was subsequently used by the Obama administration to justify spying on Trump’s campaign and later served as a justification to investigate Trump over connections to Russia that simply didn’t exist. The difference in the way these two cases were handled highlights the stark differences in legal consequences between Republicans and Democrats. link

Michael Avenatti Says Case Against Trump Is Weak, Will ‘Be Very Damaging to the Prosecution’
David Hawkins March 20, 2023 - 2:06 pm Democrat felon Michael Avenatti has warned that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is making a big mistake by going after President Donald Trump. Avenatti, who has since been convicted on multiple fraud charges, was Stormy Daniels’ lawyer. The disgraced attorney argues that the case against Trump is weak and trying to take it to trial would “be very damaging to the prosecution.” Speaking from prison, Avenatti said: “There are many critical facts and pieces of evidence (texts, emails, etc.) relating to the hush money scandal that have yet to see the light of day. “And they will unfortunately be very damaging to the prosecution if Trump stands trial. “At this point, you simply can’t build a case on the testimony of Cohen & Daniels “Atty Joe Tacopina is no Rudy Giuliani/Sydney Powell. “The guy knows his way around a criminal courtroom. “He will destroy Michael ‘Dumb as a Box of Rocks’ Cohen on the stand, esp. seeing as Cohen publicly lied for 15 mos. and now won’t stop talking on TV.” As Slay News reported earlier, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), and House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil (R-WI) are now demanding that Bragg testifies before Congress regarding the case. They wrote him a letter that said: “Your decision to pursue such a politically motivated prosecution—while adopting progressive criminal justice policies that allow career ‘criminals [to] run[ ] the streets’ of Manhattan —requires congressional scrutiny about how public safety funds appropriated by Congress are implemented by local law enforcement agencies. “In addition, your apparent decision to pursue criminal charges where federal authorities declined to do so requires oversight to inform potential legislative reforms about the delineation of prosecutorial authority between federal and local officials. “Accordingly, to advance our oversight, please produce the following documents and information for the period January 1, 2017, to the present… “In addition, your testimony is necessary to advance our oversight and to inform potential legislative reforms,” the letter said. link

Trump Critics Slam Looming Indictment as ‘Nonsense,’ ‘Partisan,’ Say It Will Help Him in 2024
KRISTINA WONG 20 March 2023 As former President Donald Trump is preparing to be indicted by the Democrat District Attorney of Manhattan Alvin Bragg, some of his critics are slamming the indictment as partisan politics. Andrew McCarthy, former chief assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, who has never been a fan of Trump’s, over the weekend blasted Bragg’s case against the former president as “nonsense” and a “blatantly partisan exercise of raw power.” “This is a classic, invidious selective prosecution. It is being launched strictly for political purposes,” he wrote in a column for the National Review Online. “It is hard to think of anything that will more rile up Trump’s base and anger other Republicans who, regardless of their distaste for Trump, will find this maneuver despicable,” he argued. Trump said on social media over the weekend that he believes he will be indicted this week by Bragg. Alan Dershowitz, who is also not a fan of Trump’s but has slammed politicized investigations and impeachments of the former president, wrote recently in the New York Sun: All decent people, whether politically opposed to Mr. Trump (as I am) or supportive of his candidacy, should be concerned about this weaponizing of the prosecutor’s office for the political purpose of preventing a potential candidate from running for office. Even some of the president’s potential 2024 rivals are calling the potential indictment political persecution. Mike Pence, who served as Trump’s vice president but has distanced himself from the former president since January 6, 2021, said in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, “It reeks of the kind of political prosecution that that we endured back in the days of the Russia hoax and the whole impeachment over a phone call.” He also slammed a seeming system of two-tiered justice, saying that there seems to be “one standard for Republicans — particularly anybody ever associated with the Trump-Pence administration — and others.” Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH), a potential 2024 contender, said Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union that he was having coffee earlier that morning with some folks — “none of them were big Trump supporters” — who “all said, you know, they felt like he was being attacked.” Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, one of the actual declared 2024 candidates, also criticized the pending indictment. “A Trump indictment would be a national disaster. It is un-American for the ruling party to use police power to arrest its political rivals,” Ramaswamy wrote in a tweet. Florida governor Ron DeSantis, seen as the top 2024 rival to Trump, finally weighed in on Monday, slamming Bragg as another one of the “Soros-funded” prosecutors who “weaponize their office to impose a political agenda on society at the expense of the rule of law and public safety.” Watch: Ron DeSantis Breaks Silence on Rumored Trump Indictment (At link) Ron DeSantis / Rumble Some of Trump’s critics argued that an indictment would actually help him. Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), another Trump critic, said an indictment would rally sympathy to Trump in the short term. “He only profits and does well in chaos and turmoil,” he said Sunday on ABC News’s This Week. Andrew McCarthy, the former U.S. attorney, argued that the indictment was part of a Democrat scheme to rally Republicans behind Trump so that he would win the Republican primary and fall to the Democrat candidate. “Such an indictment materially increases the chance that Republicans will nominate Trump — exactly the outcome that Democrats and the media crave,” he said. Elon Musk, Twitter and Tesla CEO who voted for Biden in 2020 and has been critical of Trump, said he believed an indictment would actually lead to his being re-elected. He tweeted that if the former president is indicted, “Trump will be re-elected in a landslide.” Legal experts expect Bragg to bring charges of falsifying business records against Trump, which is a misdemeanor but can be upgraded to a felony if it was done to hide another crime. Legal experts expect the other “crime” to be alleged campaign finance violations. They expect Bragg to argue that the Trump Organization falsified business records when it paid then-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen $130,000 and classified it as legal expenses, when it was allegedly to reimburse Cohen for a payment he made to porn actress Stormy Daniels as “hush money” before Trump launched his 2016 campaign. Bragg is expected to argue that the payment was actually a campaign expense and Trump’s campaign violated campaign finance regulations by not characterizing it as such. However, the Federal Election Commission itself declined to penalize Trump over the issue, and federal prosecutors have also declined to do so. ‘Utter and Complete Crap’: Ted Cruz Slams Manhattan DA’s ‘Political Persecution’ of Donald TrumpJACOB BLISS 20 Mar 2023 Washington, DC Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s “political persecution” of former President Donald Trump as “utter and complete crap.” “The case from the Manhattan District Attorney, if they bring an indictment and charge him, is utter and complete crap…It is flimsy. It is weak,” Cruz said on his latest Verdict podcast episode. “It has been rejected by prosecutor after prosecutor after prosecutor. And it is obviously political retribution and a political persecution.” “[Bragg] hates Donald Trump. Now he has a right to hate Donald Trump. But he doesn’t have a right to abuse and corrupt the justice system to persecute his political opponents. And that, sadly, is exactly what he’s doing here,” the Texas senator continued. Cruz’s comments come after Trump said over the weekend that he would be arrested based on “illegal leaks” from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office regarding their investigation into the former president’s alleged role in paying hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels. He also called for his supporters to protest in light of the news. Shortly following Trump’s statement, a spokesperson for the former president clarified that there has been “no notification, other than illegal leaks from the Justice Dept. and the DA’s office, to NBC and other fake news carriers, that the George Soros-funded Radical Left Democrat prosecutor in Manhattan has decided to take his Witch-Hunt to the next level.” “President Trump is rightfully highlighting his innocence and the weaponization of our injustice system. He will be in Texas next weekend for a giant rally. Make America Great Again!” the spokesperson added. “If this case is brought to the jury, and the prosecutor loses, the richest irony of everything is it may be left-wing Soros-funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg — more than anyone else — who will have reelected Donald Trump as president,” stated Cruz, who ran against Trump for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. Cruz acknowledged that Bragg received more than a million dollars from George Soros to help him get elected and pointed to a DailyMail report that showed the district attorney “dramatically” reduced prosecution of violent crime in New York. Over the weekend, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) also called out Bragg’s hypocrisy in allowing crime to run rampant while going after Trump. McCarthy also directed the “relevant committees [in the House] to immediately investigate” if Bragg was using federal funds to “subvert our democracy by interfering in elections” by going after the former president, who has already announced he would be making another White House bid in 2024. link

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy Says People Should Not Protest if Donald Trump is Indicted (VIDEO)
By Cassandra MacDonald Mar. 20, 2023 4:45 pm House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is urging people not to protest if former President Donald Trump is indicted. Trump has called for demonstrations if he is arrested, posting to Truth Social that we need to “protest! Take our nation back!” Speaking at a press conference at a Republican retreat in Florida Sunday, McCarthy disagreed. “I don’t think people should protest this, no,” McCarthy said. “And I think President Trump, if you talk to him, he doesn’t believe that, either.” “Nobody should harm one another,” McCarthy added. “We want calmness out there.” Read: Dr. Peter McCullough On "The Holy Grail Of COVID-19 Vaccine Detoxification" In a post to Truth Social over the weekend, Trump wrote: Page 2: NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK! In a subsequent post, Trump added, “THEY’RE KILLING OUR NATION AS WE SIT BACK & WATCH. WE MUST SAVE AMERICA!PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST!!!.” Trump’s possible indictment stems from an alleged $130,000 hush money payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016 over an alleged sexual encounter that the two had in 2006. His former attorney, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to charges over the payment in 2018 and was sentenced to three years in prison. McCarthy said that the case against Trump is weak. “Lawyer after lawyer will tell you this is the weakest case out there, trying to make a misdemeanor a felony,” he said. If Trump is charged, he will be the first former president in US history to ever be arrested after leaving office. He is also the current leading contender for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. link

‘Politically motivated’: Rep. Jim Jordan demands answers from DA allegedly pursuing Trump arrest
‘You are reportedly about to engage in an unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority: the indictment of a former President of the United States and current declared candidate for that office,’ Rep. Jim Jordan wrote. WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) — Republican Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio sent a forceful letter to George Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Monday, demanding answers concerning the allegedly imminent indictment of former U.S. President Donald Trump. “You are reportedly about to engage in an unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority: the indictment of a former President of the United States and current declared candidate for that office,” said Rep. Jordan, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and head of the House Judiciary Committee ‘s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. “This indictment comes after years of your office searching for a basis — any basis — on which to bring charges, ultimately settling on a novel legal theory untested anywhere in the country and one that federal authorities declined to pursue,” Jordan argued in the letter, which is also signed by Reps. Bryan Steil and James Comer. The letter from Republican lawmakers came after Trump made a blockbuster announcement on his social media platform Truth Social that he was set to be arrested on Tuesday after a grand jury investigation pertaining to an alleged 2016 hush money payout. In a two-part post Saturday morning, Trump decried the state of the nation and called on supporters to protest. According to Trump, his allegedly imminent arrest is politically motivated and proves that the United States under the leadership of radical leftists has become like a third-world country. In Jordan’s Monday letter, he similarly argued the prosecution of Trump was political and suggested it would destroy confidence in the impartiality of the justice system. “If these reports are accurate, your actions will erode confidence in the evenhanded application of justice and unalterably interfere in the course of the 2024 presidential election,” Jordan said in the letter. “In light of the serious consequences of your actions, we expect that you will testify about what plainly appears to be a politically motivated prosecutorial decision,” he said. Jordan went on to outline the problems with Bragg’s case, first pointing out that the New York County District Attorney’s office had endeavored to find something with which to charge Trump going at least as far back as 2018. He also argued that the primary offense for which Trump is being charged, his alleged falsification of business records with regard to his reported payment of $130,000 to the former pornography “actress” known as “Stormy Daniels” with whom he allegedly had an affair in 2006, would be only a misdemeanor with a two-year statute of limitations under state law. That charge could be elevated to a felony according to state law in the event that the “intent to defraud includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof,” Jordan noted, a crime with a five-year statute of limitations. “The only potential speculated crime that could be alleged here would be a violation of campaign finance law, according to one scholar, a charge that the Justice Department has already declined to bring,” Jordan said. He also slammed the prosecution’s “star witness,” former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, who has been convicted of perjury and holds a “demonstrable prejudice against President Trump.” According to Jordan, the available facts suggest that Bragg’s prosecution of Trump, especially in light of the leftist prosecutor’s allegedly soft-on-crime policies with regard to career criminals, is “motivated by political calculations,” thus prompting “congressional scrutiny.” Jordan therefore requested Bragg’s office provide a trove of documents related to its investigation of Trump dating to January 1, 2017. RELATED: Trump tells crowd at CPAC: ‘This is the final battle… if they win we no longer have a country’ Rep. Jordan’s Monday letter came after GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy called Trump’s allegedly impending arrest “an outrageous abuse of power” on Saturday, going on to blast Bragg as “a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump.” McCarthy also promised to stand up congressional committees to investigate whether federal dollars were used to “subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions.” It’s unclear whether Trump will or will not be taken into custody Tuesday as he suggested he would be. A Trump spokesperson clarified over the weekend that Trump had not received any notification of an imminent arrest despite publicly flagging Tuesday as the day he expected to be taken into custody. Moreover, as of Monday, the Manhattan grand jury in charge of deciding whether or not to charge the former president has still not yet heard from its final witnesses or cast its vote on whether or to pursue an indictment. link

BREAKING: IS THIS ALL A SCAM? Now It Looks Like President Trump Will Not Be Arrested Tuesday
Kari by Kari Donovan March 20, 2023 OPINION: This article contains commentary which may reflect the author’s opinion After leaked reports that President Donald J. Trump would be arrested on Tuesday, Trump went on offense and went on his social media to tell his supporters to protest. After a week of outrage, we find out Monday morning it all might have been somewhat of a prank. “THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE AND FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” Trump, a Presidential candidate, posted on Truth Social. And then the news cycle became obsessed with the topic, stirring up enough anger and frustration that a protest did break out over the weekend, and the media of course used the occasion to smear Trump and his supporters in the process. US Rep Elise Steffanik responded to the news and released a statement denouncing the leak and the potential arrest: The Baltimore Sun, gleefully, reported the details of what would happen to Trump, early Monday morning of the details of what would happen to Trump if he was arrested: “He would be fingerprinted. He would be photographed. He could even be handcuffed. And if Donald Trump is indicted by a Manhattan grand jury in the days ahead for his role in a hush money payment to a porn star, the former president of the United States of America will be read the standard Miranda warning: He will be told that he has the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney.” These are among the routine steps for felony arrests in New York. But the unprecedented arrest of a former commander in chief — one whose devoted supporters once staged a violent attack on the Capitol — will be anything but routine. Last week, senior officials from the district attorney’s office and the state agency that runs the courts had preliminary discussions to plan for a possible indictment and arraignment. So did officials from the Police Department, which patrols the streets outside the lower Manhattan courthouse, and the court officers, who handle security inside the Criminal Courts Building, where Trump would be arraigned. And on Sunday, more than a dozen senior Police Department officials and two of the mayor’s top public safety aides held a virtual meeting to discuss security, staffing and contingency plans in the event of any protests, one person with knowledge of the meeting said. That meeting followed a call from Trump himself, in a post on his site Truth Social on Saturday morning: “PROTEST,” he exhorted his supporters. “TAKE OUR NATION BACK!” Some supporters listened: It is all very confusing – Because the arrest doesn’t actually seem to be cemented in stone. Independent media saw it all unfold in a different way than the mainstream media reported and noticed a twist in the story that the MSM wasn’t covering – that there was still one more witness to go before an indictment could be handed down. So was the leak a fake leak? “The American people force-fed liberal garbage for another entire weekend. We’ll never get this time back. The monsters on the now-communist left dropped the news on Saturday that they will be arresting President Trump on Tuesday,” Joe Hoft wrote about the topic. Robert Spencer at PJMedia reported on the details: Donald Trump announced on Saturday morning that he would be arrested on Tuesday, and the nation has been agog at the prospect of the Leftist establishment crossing the rubicon of arresting its principal opponent on flimsy charges and demonstrating before the entire world that the American republic is now the American banana republic, in which foes of the regime can expect the full weight of corrupt government authority pushing back against them for daring to dissent. The Insider’s source wouldn’t say, and so all that we’re told is that “a separate source, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, told Insider that the witness is not Allen Weisselberg, Trump’s former CFO, who is serving a five-month sentence for admittedly masterminding a payroll tax-dodge scheme at the Trump Organization.” This may have changed but the corrupt Biden family is still criminally corrupt. As Americans and the media chime in about what could happen as a result of Trump being arrested this week, it is unclear if that is really even a possibility. What is clear is that America deserves better. Americans have been scammed by our government and our media for so long, all of it makes a Trump presidency look less like a crazy rollercoaster and more like a calm walk in paradise. America First policies and Trump’s defense of us as Americans would be a welcomed change from this Democrat-made RINO-enabled chaos. link
