TOTAL BS – DA Bragg Claims President Trump Made Accounting Entries in Error Years Ago – What Lunacy and Utter Nonsense
By Joe Hoft Apr. 4, 2023 3:45 pm It’s official. Soros-backed and Obama/Biden connected Manhattan DA Bragg has indicted President Trump for making erroneous accounting entries years ago. This is insane. These have to be the most dim-witted gang of crooks in history. The indictment against President Trump was presented today to the public after pieces were leaked feloniously previously by the corrupt DA Bragg gang. The indictment is simply shocking. It’s total BS. It’s laughable. How could any group of goons be so dim-witted to take this case to the court and especially on the President of the US? This really is bad. As reported this morning, it sounding like the corrupt Bragg and his gang were going to charge President Trump for making accounting entry errors. We didn’t know till now that this is exactly what they did. As reported by TGP this morning: The gist of the case against President Trump lies in some accounting entries that were supposedly made years ago in the Trump Organization. The corrupt Soros-backed and Obama-connected DA’s office is behind this garbage and you can bet that not one of these characters has ever posted an entry in an accounting system. You can also bet money that President Trump has never posted an entry in an accounting system. Yet, this is what they are telling us. President Trump didn’t come near any of these entries. I know. I was a corporate executive in charge of financial reporting of multi-million and billion-dollar entities. I oversaw all the entries for that segment of a Fortune 500 company. I can tell you without exception that I never consulted with the CEO of that billion-dollar organization on any accounting entries made in that segment. Quite frankly, I never posted an entry into the system myself. I also never saw most of the journal entries in the system. In large corporations, there are thousands of entries every month. You don’t know all the entries, it’s impossible. Here is the filing with the court where the corrupt Soros-backed DA Bragg claims that President Trump “made and caused a false entry in the business records of an enterprise”. President Trump had nothing to do with these entries in his multi-billion dollar company. This is lunacy. Corrupt Bragg claims this is a felony which it is not. We made adjusting entries all the time when necessary. This is an accounting adjustment at best. And if it was a crime (a misdemeanor) it passed the statute of limitations years ago. What a crock. Donald J. Trump Indictment by Jim Hoft on ScribdThe idea that President Trump, the head of a multi-billion dollar entity had anything to do with the accounting entries in his organization is lunacy. He never did and never will have anything to do with accounting entries in his organization. That’s what accountants are for. President Trump is not an accountant and the Soros-backed and Obama/Biden-connected attorneys behind this case are not objective and fair-minded prosecutors and they certainly aren’t accountants either. These people after President Trump are criminals involved in a conspiracy to overthrow our nation and interfere in the last and the next election. link

John Ratcliffe Slams Alvin Bragg: Law Schools Will Use Indictment as Example of ‘Prosecutorial Abuse of Discretion’
KATHERINE HAMILTON 4 Apr 2023 Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said the indictment of Donald Trump is actually an indictment of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg because the unsealed document so clearly demonstrates “political persecution.” “Alvin Bragg’s unsealed indictment is an indictment of Alvin Bragg. Legitimate law schools will forever use this indictment to teach the concept of prosecutorial abuse of discretion,” Ratcliffe tweeted on Tuesday in response to a post by Mike Cernovich, who called the indictment “laughable in any other circumstance” and “the same offense copied and pasted 34 times.” “All Americans, regardless of political persuasions, should condemn this indictment as the travesty of justice and political persecution that it so clearly demonstrates” Ratcliffe continued. As Breitbart News reported, Bragg charged former President Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree in violation of New York state Penal Law §175.10. The 34 separate charges accounted for 34 different business record entries for various dates between February 14, 2017, and December 5, 2017, according to the indictment. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all 34 counts. Former New York federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy said in a recent piece in National Review that Bragg charged Trump with 34 separate counts in hopes of getting just one guilty charge so that he can claim he won the case and brand Trump a “convicted felon.” McCarthy wrote:
Why is Bragg doing this? Because for him to ‘win’ the case in the all-important political realm, the court of public opinion, he just needs a jury to convict on one count. Then, no matter how flimsy the case Bragg has presented, Trump will be branded a convicted felon. By contrast, Trump can only ‘win’ if he prevails on all 34 counts.
“Bragg is inflating the number of counts, just like he is inflating trivial misdemeanors into ostensibly serious felonies, because he just needs one,” McCarthy wrote. link

Court Officer Makes Sick Move Against Trump as He Enters Courtroom to Be Arraigned
By Johnathan Jones April 4, 2023 at 1:42pm A disrespectful court officer who guided former President Donald Trump to a courtroom in New York City on Tuesday couldn’t even bother to hold the door for him as he made his way to see a judge. It’s safe to say the world saw just how leftist Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and corrupt the New York City court system intends to treat the former president. Trump was processed shortly after he arrived at the courthouse Tuesday. He then headed upstairs, where he was arraigned by Judge Juan Merchan, a Democratic Party donor. Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of allegedly falsifying business records and conspiracy related to his alleged role in hush money payments to former adult film star Stormy Daniels. The former president had to walk outside in front of a pool of reporters in order to make his way upstairs for the arraignment. One of two court officers who had opened the doors in front of Trump let one close on him, as seen in a video shared on social media. Trump is a big boy, and he got the door. But the disrespectful moment elicited quite a response on Twitter, as this is a city that runs a legal system that treats violent criminals with kid gloves. Observing the scene, CNN’s Anderson Cooper said the court officer “who enters before him doesn’t hold the door open for him, and the former president actually has to push the door open for himself, which is probably the first time he’s had to do that in quite some time.” Trump was investigated by a grand jury in a city overrun by Democratic Party voters. He was indicted by a Democrat district attorney who ran on a campaign promise to go after him. Trump’s case is being handled by a judge who donated to his Democratic opponent in the 2020 race, President Joe Biden. Even members of the building’s security apparently were unwilling to show him the slightest trace of respect by holding the door open for him. This is a man who was the president of the United States just 27 months ago and is the current frontrunner for the Republican Party’s nomination for 2024. Trump’s indictment is the culmination of years of leftists weaponizing the justice system to destroy him. The gloves were off Tuesday as New York and its dysfunctional legal system took aim at the country’s 45th president. Everyone from the judge to security apparently has the memo: It’s open season on Trump. link

President Trump Responds to Arraignment in Historic Mar-a-Lago Speech
BY MATT MARGOLIS 9:16 PM ON APRIL 04, 2023 President Trump Responds to Arraignment in Historic Mar-a-Lago Speech On Tuesday afternoon, Donald Trump was formally arraigned on 34 charges in what many believe to be a politically motivated prosecution by a George Soros-funded district attorney who campaigned on the promise that he would get Trump. Though he was expected to speak to the media at the courthouse, Trump entered and exited quietly, saving his first public comments for an address at Mar-a-Lago Tuesday evening. During his speech, which included elements of his standard campaign stump speech, he discussed the events that led up to his arraignment. “I never thought anything like this could happen in America,” he began. “I never thought it could happen. The only crime that I’ve committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it.” He then recalled how Democrats spied on his campaign and launched fraudulent investigations against him, including the Russian collusion investigation and two partisan impeachment trials. He also accused the FBI and DOJ of relentlessly pursuing Republicans, while protecting Hunter Biden. “And now this massive election interference at a scale never seen before in our country,” he continued. “Beginning with the radical left to George Soros-backed prosecutor Alvin Bragg of New York, who campaigned on the fact that he would get President Trump, ‘I gotta get him. I’m gonna get him.'” Trump noted how experts on both sides of the aisle “say there is no crime and that [the indictment] should never have been brought.” “Everybody—even people that aren’t big fans—have said that this is not the right thing to do. It’s an insult to our country as the world is already laughing at us.” He’s right. We’ve covered this many times here at PJ Media, and we’ll continue to do so with your help. You can support us by becoming a PJ Media VIP member and helping us uncover the left’s abuse of the justice system to target Trump. Use the promo code WITCHHUNT to take advantage of a 50% discount on your membership. Trump also spoke of the other efforts by Democrats to target him, including the “racist Democrat district attorney” in Atlanta [Fani Willis], who he said is “doing everything in her power to indict me over an absolutely perfect phone call—even more perfect than the one I made with the president of Ukraine.” He also spoke of the ongoing case regarding the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, noting that “there is no criminality under the Presidential Records Act.” Yet Biden took classified documents as vice president when he had no power to declassify them. Biden “doesn’t come under the non-criminal Presidential Records Act,” Trump pointed out. “He comes under the very criminal Federal Records Act, unfortunately for him. But it’s not going to matter because they don’t follow the law, which has very severe penalties. He had classified documents that he took while he was a senator, which is absolutely inexcusable, and other senators, including Democrats, are outraged.” “But he’s not being harassed and hounded like the people who work for me are,” Trump pointed out. “In fact, they seem to have forgotten about his documents entirely.” When he pivoted back to Bragg’s case, he noted the many experts who agree there is no case. “They kept saying there’s no case—virtually everyone, but it’s far worse than that because he knew there was no case. That’s why last week he delayed for a month and then immediately took that back and threw this ridiculous indictment together, came out today. Everybody said this is not really an indictment. There’s nothing here. I learned this came to me and they said, ‘There’s nothing here. They’re not even saying what you did.’ The criminal is the district attorney because he illegally leaked massive amounts of grand jury information for which he should be prosecuted, or at a minimum, he should resign.” Toward the end of the speech, Trump spoke of how the United States is declining rapidly under Joe Biden. “If you took the five worst presidents in the history of the United States and added them up, they would not have done near the destruction to our country as Joe Biden and the Biden administration have done.” “Incredibly, we are now a failing nation. We are a nation in decline. And now these radical-left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using law enforcement. We can’t let that happen. With all of this being said, and with a very dark cloud over our beloved country, I have no doubt, nevertheless, that we will make America great again.” However you feel about Trump, this is a historic time and a watershed moment in our country. The radical left, thanks to Bragg, is now further emboldened to use the justice system to target political enemies. The witch hunt against Republicans will not stop with Trump. If they can go after him, they can go after you. link

Why the Trump Indictment Is Worse Than We Thought
BY MATT MARGOLIS 8:20 PM ON APRIL 04, 2023 Why the Trump Indictment Is Worse Than We Thought With the arrest of Donald Trump, we’ve entered into a new era of country’s history. The kind of corruption we’ve long believed was limited to third-world countries has made it to the Land of the Free. Thanks to Alvin Bragg’s precedent, prosecutors are now emboldened to misuse their power to punish political rivals with fabricated charges. Worse yet, roughly half the country condones it because they care more about punishing Trump than the rule of law or blind justice. We’ve long anticipated that the case against Trump would be weak, but according to Andrew McCarthy, a senior fellow at National Review Institute and a former assistant U.S. attorney, it’s even worse than experts predicted. He argued that the case against Trump should be dismissed quickly. “If the judge does his job right here, the case should be dismissed and it actually should be dismissed quickly,” he told Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto on Tuesday. “I agree with what my friends have said, but I think this is actually worse than what we anticipated. Because what we anticipated was that they were trying to bootstrap a misdemeanor—which, by the way, they’d have a good deal of difficulty proving if it was just a misdemeanor—but they need to show that he concealed another crime in supposedly falsifying the business records.” If you’ve read the indictment, you know that McCarthy is correct. “And what we’ve thought up until now is that … he was going to use that as an avenue to enforce federal campaign finance law,” McCarthy continued. “Now, maybe that’s what he’s planning to do, but he’s got to tell us what he’s planning to do, and more importantly, he’s got to tell Donald Trump. So I think this indictment—even before you get to the statute of limitations and whether he’s got jurisdiction to enforce federal law—I would dismiss it on its face because it fails to state a crime. Here it fails to state a crime 34 times!” Moreover, “It is the function of an indictment in the criminal justice system to do two things. It has to put a defendant on notice of exactly what he’s being charged with, which is to say which crimes he’s being accused of committing, and it then gives the defendant — this is the second part of the vehicle — so if he’s ever charged with that again, he can use the first indictment to plead double jeopardy.” “So in order to make that work, you have to tell the defendant what it is that you’re accusing him of,” he continued. “And if an essential element of the offense is that you have to prove as the prosecutor beyond a reasonable doubt that he was trying to conceal another crime, you have to tell the defendant what the other crime is that he has, that he supposedly is concealing.” “This indictment fails to do that,” McCarthy concluded. “This is the heart of the case. It’s not a felony unless he was trying to conceal another crime and if you don’t tell them what the crime is, how does that put him on notice and allow him to prepare his defense?” link

Area Outside Manhattan Courthouse Turns Into 'Absolute Madhouse' on Trump Arraignment Day
By Jack Davis April 4, 2023 at 4:26pm Decorum was trampled underfoot and drowned out in the noise of democracy outside the Manhattan criminal court on Tuesday as supporters and foes of former President Donald Trump dueled with insults, signs and incomprehensible screaming. Savanah Hernandez of Turning Point USA shared footage of the scene on Twitter, describing it as an “absolute madhouse.” Current scene in front of the New York City Criminal courthouse. Trump appeared in court on Tuesday to be arraigned on 34 felony charges of falsifying business records. Even Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia waded into the maelstrom of invective, CBS News reported. “We cannot tolerate this injustice in the United States of America,” she called out as counterprotesters told her to “go home.” “Every American should take a stand,” she said, according to ABC News. “This is what happens to communist countries, not the United States of America. We have to take a stand against the injustice, the corruption and the communist Democrats.” WARNING: The following video contains language that some viewers will find offensive. Absolute insanity as Majorie Taylor Greene leaves rally protest after only speaking a few minutes here outside Manhattan courthouse. Republican Rep. George Santos also made an appearance outside the courthouse. ABC noted that no arrests were made despite “verbal skirmishes” between the two sides. WARNING: The following video contains language that some viewers will find offensive. The New York Post reported that far above the chaos, armed police snipers looked down from the rooftops. Maurice Symonette, the founder of Blacks for Trump, took time out from protesting to tell the Post that he saw the day as a win for the former president. “It’s great that they are doing this because all this is going to do is catapult Trump into the presidency,” Symonette said. “He is a folk hero.” link

THERE’S MORE – Alvin Bragg’s Case Against Trump Shows Complete Ignorance and Manipulation of Basic Accounting
By Joe Hoft Apr. 5, 2023 8:00 am Author Joe Hoft is a former international corporate executive in finance and auditing. His expertise and background include managing audit teams across East Asia. The dumbest case ever just got dumber. The charges brought against President Trump by New York City DA Alvin Bragg make no sense. You would think that if you were going to indict a President of the United States that you would have a case. But this case offers nothing. DA Bragg should resign. His case against Trump is shockingly weak. On Tuesday, immediately after receiving the indictment against President Trump, TGP analyzed the document. What stuck out was that Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg claims in his charges that President Trump made the accounting entries himself related to this case. The Gateway Pundit pointed out previously that this is nonsense. No CEO in the world presiding over a billion-dollar company is making entries in General Ledger or cutting checks. This is total nonsense. Attorney Mike Davis concurs and labels Bragg’s case as one of the dumbest cases ever. This indictment is an abomination… it’s unbelievable to me. He is much dumber than I expected… I don’t get stunned very often. I was stunned by watching his press conference today. It’s because he’s incredibly dumb and his indictment is a complete abomination. Davis points out that the crimes aren’t identified in the document. Bragg says that he doesn’t have to list the crimes. The case lists 34 counts. These counts consist of the following accounting actions: 11 invoices 12 vouchers (in February 2017 there were two vouchers) 11 checks cut These are the 34 charges – they are related to 11 transactions. What’s the crime? Here is a list in the order in which they are listed in the indictment: Feb 14 Invoice- Feb 14 Voucher -842457 Voucher- 842460 Check- 138 March 16-17 Invoice- Feb 15 Voucher – 846907 Check 147 June 19 Invoice- April 13 Voucher – 858770 Check – 2740 May 22 Invoice – May 22 Voucher- 855331 Check – 2700 June 16-19 Invoice – June 16 Voucher – 858772 Check – 2741 July 11 Invoice- July 11 Voucher – 861097 Check – 2781 Aug 1 Invoice – Aug 1 Voucher- 863641 Check- 2821 Sep 11 Invoice – Sep 11 Voucher – 868174 Check – 2908 Oct 18 Invoice – Oct 18 Voucher – 872654 Check – 2944 Nov 20 Invoice – Nov 20 Voucher – 876511 Check – 2980 Dec 1 Invoice – Dec 1 Voucher – 877785 Check – 3006 Many of these transactions appear to be monthly recurring fees being paid perhaps as a retainer? We just don’t know from the filing. We also don’t know what the amounts are on these individual transactions. But most notable is that the transactions are from 2017. This was when President Trump was in office and his sons were running his company. President Trump had nothing to do with these transactions. These transactions also somehow impacted the 2016 election – but they were made in 2017? And again, President Trump supposedly “made and caused a false record” when these entries were addressed which is insane because no CEO of any billion-dollar enterprise is booking entries in General Ledger (GL). This doesn’t make sense. Invoices are support for entries posted in the GL when invoices are received. There is no transaction posted in the GL when an invoice is received. The invoice is forwarded to the department that would book the entry in the GL based on adequate support which includes the invoice. Bragg claims that the invoices received trigger a transaction separate from the vouchers posted in the accounting system. This is not true. Therefore the 11 invoices received are not entries into the GL made by President Trump or anyone. They are documents received from the client. There is no record that is “made or caused” by the invoice independent of the voucher. THIS IS TRULY THE DUMBEST CASE IN US HISTORY. Video and more at link

EMBARRASSING: Soros-backed DA Bragg Can’t Answer the What the Crime Is in His Case Against President Trump
By Joe Hoft Apr. 5, 2023 8:15 am Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg was on full display yesterday and he showed the entire world how dumb he is and how dumb his case is. His press conference was icing on the cake. Yesterday the first President in US history was arrested on “34 felony” counts placed against him by DA Bragg in New York. We learned that if you are going to indict the President, it’s probably best that you have crimes committed. After the arrest, the corrupt and dumb DA Bragg held a press conference where he attempted to describe what the President did wrong. Bragg blew it. Bragg makes statements that the President committed crimes that he never fully describes. He grabs accounting entries and somehow argues that these were crimes. Then he mumbled through how these were election-related crimes without describing the connection. We know this because Support Gateway Pundit by using promo code TGP at MyPillow.com -- and get up to 80% off! When describing the accounting entries he says that the entries started in “April, May, June and so on through the rest of the year”. However, the indictment starts with accounting entries in February. Bragg charges President Trump on the first seven counts for accounting entries in February and March. Bragg must have forgotten about these. Bragg claims that President Trump “held documents in his hand containing this key lie” – What lie? How does he know President Trump held these in his hand? It isn’t a crime to ask someone to sign a non-disclosure agreement. This happens all the time, every day in US business. Where is the crime? Bragg says that it was against New York election law to pay an individual as part of a non-disclosure agreement. This is BS. Bragg says there were false statements in AMI’s books that violated New York law. What the hell did President Trump have to do with AMI’s accounting practices? Bragg says Cohen labeled his receipts from President Trump as income to the New York state tax authorities. Therefore it was taxable for the state and the state made tax income on it. It sounds like for the first time in history the state didn’t want this tax amount. The only person making false accusations, in this case, was Bragg. Next, the DA took questions, where he looked lost and confused. At the 8:00 mark Bragg is asked what laws were broken and he refuses to answer. Bragg continues to say President Trump tried to cover up an actual crime. What is the crime? Bragg says that Trump falsified business records to impact an election but the records were recorded by someone other than President Trump after the election. How does this make any sense? Timing is important in this case proving, like a Weissmann special, it’s all made-up. Bragg says, “That’s the charge that is brought here, falsifying NY State business records.” The only New York state business records law that is outside of US GAAP relates to taxes and from the documents provided, taxes were paid on these amounts. If there was a crime it would be a misdemeanor that passed the statute of limitations years ago. Trending: Daughter of Judge Overseeing Trump’s Case Worked For ‘Kamala Harris Campaign’, Now Serves As President of Company that Has Biden-Harris Campaign As Client This Bragg is a dummy. His case is dumber. And he just made New York look dumbest. Who in their right mind would want to do business in New York after this? Bragg cannot clearly describe the crimes because there are none. Here is Bragg’s press conference. What a disaster. link

DA Bragg Raked Over the Coals by Democrat Voters After Trump's Arraignment
By C. Douglas Golden April 6, 2023 at 5:36am In 2022, it was reported that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg had downgraded over 50 percent of felonies in his jurisdiction to misdemeanors, despite New York City’s spiking crime rate. On Tuesday, the public learned he had finally found 34 misdemeanors he was willing to upgrade to felonies. Conveniently, they just happened to be allegations against former President Donald Trump, and flimsy ones at that, based on non-disclosure payments made during the 2016 campaign. But you’ve gotta start somewhere. Unfortunately for Bragg, Democratic and independent voters that Fox News talked to weren’t impressed, with one calling him the “worst prosecutor in America” to make the case against the former president. Bragg has defended his decision to elevate the 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree — normally a misdemeanor for which the two-year statute of limitations has long passed — to felonies because they were meant to conceal another crime. However, that alleged crime involved federal campaign finance law, something Bragg has no jurisdiction over and a case the Department of Justice has already decided to pass on. “Under New York state law is a felony to falsify business records with intent to defraud and intent to conceal another crime. That is exactly what this case is about. Thirty-four false statements made to cover up other crimes,” Bragg said after the indictment was unsealed on Tuesday, according to Fox News. “These are felony crimes in New York State. No matter who you are, we cannot and will not normalize serious criminal conduct.” Again ironic, given that the U.K. Daily Mail reported in November that since taking office as district attorney earlier in the year, Bragg had downgraded 52 percent of felony cases to misdemeanors, which sounds a lot like normalizing serious criminal conduct. The registered Democratic voters that Fox News talked to on Wednesday morning’s “Fox & Friends” agreed. “I think we’re concentrating on the wrong thing and that this may backfire,” said Sammy Ravelo, a former police officer and member of New York’s Conservative Party who was a losing candidate in the 2021 Democratic primary for Bronx borough president. Ravelo spoke during a panel discussion with “Fox & Friends” host Steve Doocy. In a separate panel discussion with “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt, Ravelo was critical of Bragg for using resources to prosecute the former president while Gotham continues to have issues with crime. “My whole thing is they found the worst prosecutor in America to prosecute Trump because Alvin Bragg would not prosecute a black-on-black crime or Latino-Latino crime,” Ravelo said. “He’ll set those guys free. “In the meantime, he goes after a former president.” Another registered Democrat, Marissa Caro-Cortese, told Earhardt she had been “expecting more” from the indictment. “Enough is enough already,” the Connecticut woman said. Related: Law Prof: Trump Indictment Is Embarrassing ... And It's Trump's Fault “If we’re going to start pinpointing politicians for all of their business affairs, looking deeper into things that they’ve done in the past, we need to investigate all of them. He’s not the first person who’s done this. “Again, I’m not defending him. I would never defend President Trump, but I feel like there’s a lot of distraction going on, and we need to just get away with this and focus on the real issue,” she added. Meanwhile, independent voter Dominick Ciccarelli noted the irony behind Bragg finally getting tough on crime. “Alvin Bragg has spent his entire career keeping criminals out of jail, so it’s impossible for me to believe that this is not politically driven,” the New York City resident told Earhardt. “The American people care about hush money with Stormy Daniels just as much as they care about Bill Clinton and Paula Jones’ sexual harassment settlement cases. “What the American people care about is presidents becoming richer during their presidencies and becoming presidents, and maybe political figures, to line their own pockets,” he added. “And America really, I think, is grateful for Trump for putting America first and pushing hard for America and coming out almost less wealthy than he did when he came in because he sacrificed … his personal life supporting the country.” It’s not exactly a scientific poll, mind you, the Fox panel was not exactly made up of liberal Democrats, much less the leftiest fringe elements of the Democratic Party. But the fallout from Tuesday was brutal for Bragg — with even Democrats and liberal media pundits expressing disappointment over the charges after they were unveiled. Now that the indictment has been unsealed, to call it a nothingburger is an insult to burgers. Meanwhile, the Manhattan DA’s office will continue to devote more and more of its resources to this farce as crime continues to get worse. Bragg managed to win the Democratic primary in 2021. By the time Bragg he’s up for re-election in 2025, maybe even Democrats will see how screwed up his priorities are. Videos at link

The Legal Argument in Soros-Backed Bragg’s Indictment of President Trump Is Dumb But the Accounting “Crimes” Are Even Dumber (VIDEO)
By Joe Hoft Apr. 7, 2023 9:00 pm Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has it out for President Trump. He wanted to get the President so badly that he was willing to push forward a bogus case that is total garbage. The legal argument in Bragg’s case is dumb but the accounting basis for the case is dumber. Bragg released his case to the world on Tuesday and no one could see what the crime was. Bragg then said that he didn’t have to say what the crime was. This answer made caused lawyers across the country a reason to ask whether they heard that right. The law requires that when you indict someone you tell them what their crime was. This case does not do that. Support Gateway Pundit by using promo code TGP at MyPillow.com -- and get up to 80% off! The indictments were a series of accounting transactions that TGP discussed previously. Here are the overall points that undercut Bragg’s entire case and they’re all related to the accounting actions Bragg identified in his indictment. 1. The indictment relates to accounting activities in 2017. 2. All took place in 2017 after Trump was President – he handed his company over to his sons before his Inauguration and they ran the company from that point forward. They were running the company when these actions took place. President Trump had nothing to do with them. 3. Bragg claims that the 2017 activities somehow impacted the 2016 election. How is this possible? 4. All the 34 indictments say Trump “made or caused a false entry” – no CEO of a billion dollar company ever made an accounting entry in the company’s books. The Accounts Payable Department would have made these entries. 5. These are “Trumped up” charges for 11 pymts to allegedly Cohen – 11 invoices, 12 vouchers, 11 checks or wires 6. Invoices are received from vendors – not made by anyone in Trump org – Trump has no control over these. 7. No auditors would ever identify or make the claims made by Bragg – not on a billion-dollar business – these entries are so small they would likely never be found our addressed by an auditor. 8. If these were issues then management would make adjustments but these adjustments would not impact taxes or income since they are alleging they were reported in the wrong bucket. See a discussion of these items in the interview below with American Sunrise this morning. Video at link

Trump Trial Judge’s Donations to Biden Are ‘Problematic,’ Ex-US Attorney Tells MSNBC
David Hawkins April 8, 2023 - 12:51 pm Former Southern California U.S. Attorney Carol Lam has warned MSNBC’s audience that the judge overseeing President Donald Trump’s criminal case made some problematic campaign donations, including to Joe Biden in 2020. As Slay News previously reported, the judge presiding over Trump’s criminal case, Acting New York County Supreme Court Justice Juan Manuel Merchan, has made several pro-Democrat and anti-Republican donations. Merchan’s daughter Loren also once worked for Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. Loren Merchan now runs a company that lists the Biden-Harris campaign as its top client. And according to newly emerged Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings, Judge Merchan himself donated to Democrat President Joe Biden’s 2020 election campaign. According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings, Merchan donated three times to ActBlue in the summer of 2020. One of Merchan’s donations was made on July 26, 2020, and was earmarked for Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, according to the FEC. Another one of Merchan’s contributions was pledged to the Progressive Turnout Project (PTP). PTP is a left-wing PAC that rallies voter turnout for Democrat candidates. Merchan’s final donation was made to Stop Republicans, a PTP sub-project that’s dedicated to “resisting” Trump and the Republican Party. MSNBC host Lindsey Reiser said: “We’ve also learned, during an FEC filing report, that Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over Trump’s New York arraignment, made a campaign donation to President Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, it was for $15. “Are the optics problematic here?” Lam said: “I think the optics are a bit problematic. “To be clear, the donations were made in 2020, before Judge Merchan had either the Trump organization case assigned to him or, obviously, this case, but it is troubling optics. “I think, for any judge to have made a political contribution, and then to have a party who is either the beneficiary or not the beneficiary of that political contribution before that judge in court. “Now, it was a trivial amount of money and this is a trial-level judge. “The judge, in this case, is not the ultimate trier of fact, the jury is. “But the judge does call some balls and some strikes during the course of the trial, and if there’s a conviction, the judge is responsible for sentencing. “That is all subject to review on appeal. “However, it is probably not the best course of action for a judge to have made political contributions while a sitting judge, with the possibility that such cases can arise before him,” Lam said. Trump to Return to New York City This Week to Be Grilled by AG Letitia James
By Cristina Laila Apr. 10, 2023 9:14 pm President Trump will return to the sh*t hole of New York City this week for AG Letitia James’ fraud case. Letitia James in September announced a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and his family. AG James has been investigating whether the Trump Organization inflated values of some of its properties. “Today, I filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump for engaging in years of financial fraud to enrich himself, his family, and the Trump Organization.” Letitia James said on September 21. Letitia James said her office is seeking to: Make Trump pay $250 million. Ban the Trumps from running NY businesses for good. Ban Trump and Trump Org from buying commercial real estate in NY for 5 yrs. We’re making a criminal referral to the US Department of Justice “With the help of Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and other defendants, Trump variously unlawfully inflated and deflated his net worth by billions to obtain and satisfy loans, get insurance benefits, and pay lower taxes. In short, he lied to gain massive financial benefits for himself,” Letitia James said in September. “We found that Trump, his family, and the Trump Org used fraudulent and misleading asset valuations over 200 times in 10 years on his annual financial statements. These statements were then used to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and insurance coverage,’ she added. Trump is expected to plead the fifth this week, The New York Post reported. The New York Post reported: Former President Donald Trump is due back in the Big Apple this week to be grilled for the second time by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is probing the Trump Organization’s business practices, law-enforcement sources told The Post on Monday. Trump is expected to plead the Fifth — or refuse to answer questions to avoid potentially incriminating himself — as he did when he was quizzed by the AG’s office in the case last year, sources from multiple agencies said. He is due to fly up from his home in Florida on Wednesday night for questioning by James’ prosecutors at her Manhattan offices Thursday morning, sources said. Trump’s civil lawyer Monday declined to comment to The Post on whether her client would be deposed this week. link

Trump: I Won’t Drop Out of 2024 Race if Convicted — ‘It’s Not My Thing’PAM KEY 11 Apr 2023 Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that he will not drop out of the 2024 race even if he is convicted in a New York case involving alleged hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Host Tucker Carlson asked, “So they’re trying to prevent you from making to it the general election.” Trump said, “Yes.” Carlson continued, “By tying you up in lawsuits charging you with crimes.” Trump said, “The old Soviet process.” Carlson said, “The old Soviet process. You’ve described it as all legitimate If this goes to trial and you get convicted in the middle of a presidential campaign, how would you respond?” Trump said, “It’s so off the statute of limitations, years off, it’s hard to believe. You know, usually when you have something like this, the Democrats say he’s terribly guilty. The Democrats have even said, I’m innocent.” Carlson asked, “Is there anything they could throw at you legally that would convince you to drop out the race? If you get convicted in this case in New York, would you drop out?” Trump responded, “No, I’d never drop — it’s not my thing. I wouldn’t do it.” link

Josh Hawley Drops Hammer over ‘Totally Made Up’ Trump Case: ‘Entire Clinton Family Ought to Be in Prison’
David Hawkins April 12, 2023 - 2:21 pm Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has dropped the hammer and suggested that every member of the Clinton family should be put in prison after Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted President Donald Trump. The Senator made his case during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show. He blasted the “fake crime” that was “totally made up” to go after Trump. Hawlyer then listed examples of crimes committed by Bill and Hillary Clinton. “Look at what Hillary Clinton did setting up a server in her own home with the deliberate purpose of concealing thousands of emails that were classified if we’re going to prosecute based on that, Hillary should have been in jail a long time ago,” Hawley said. “Bill Clinton, you talk about buying off people this is a guy who spent money to buy off numerous individuals who had incriminating information against him Paula Jones others I mean these people have made a career of this stuff you talk about a double standard. “The entire Clinton family ought to be in prison on the basis of these charges now against Donald Trump, which appear to be totally made up to me. “It’s a totally fake crime nobody’s ever heard of before. “It’s a two-tiered system of justice it’s an assault on the rule of law. “And whether we’re talking about targeting Christians or going after Republicans and conservatives this administration will do anything to hold on to power.” WATCH: Meanwhile, GOP Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) said: “My guess is that Alvin Bragg is scared to come before Congress. “Soros apparently backed Bragg for his activism, not his legal acumen.” link

House GOP Strikes Deal with Bragg Over Trump Indictment After DA is Told 'No One is Above the Law'
By Peter Partoll April 22, 2023 at 2:02pm Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg has reached a deal with House Republicans allowing the House Judiciary Committee to question an ex-prosecutor about Bragg’s indictment of former President Trump. In March, the committee, led by Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan had subpoenaed Mark Pomerantz, a former Manhattan prosecutor who had penned a tell-all book about the DA Bragg’s investigation of Trump, inquiring if any federal funds had been used in the investigation of the former president. The GOP argued that they had a right and a duty to investigate whether these were “politically motivated state investigations and prosecutions.” Bragg slammed the committee and sued Rep. Jordan in an attempt to block the subpoena, but was shot down by a federal judge, who told him, “No one is above the law.” Now, after Bragg appealed the ruling and was afforded a temporary suspension, the New York Post has reported that Bragg has withdrawn the motion after reaching an agreement with House Republicans on Friday. Trending: Federal Judge Rules Against Alvin Bragg, Hands Jim Jordan a Big Win Under the agreement, the House Judiciary Committee will be allowed to question Pomerantz on May 12th, a later date than was initially scheduled, and will be allowed to have a lawyer from Bragg’s office present for questioning. Interestingly, both sides see the resolution as a victory. “We are pleased with this resolution, which ensures any questioning of our former employee will take place in the presence of our General Counsel on a reasonable, agreed upon timeframe,” Bragg said. The heart of the congressional probe is whether or not federal funds were used by the Manhattan DA’s office to investigate and indict the former president. If that did happen, the House has the right to have oversight on the spending of those funds. It will also help the GOP to prove that the investigation and indictment are politically motivated and an attempt to benefit the Democrats ahead of the 2024 election. Bragg will not have to answer the questions himself, but the answers provided by Mark Pomerantz should allow the House Judiciary Committee to have a better idea of what the case is really all about. Perhaps more importantly, however, it will allow the GOP to blow up the case against Donald Trump in the court of public opinion before the case makes it to trial later this year. When one considers the fact that this is a radical leftist DA who is conducting an investigation against a politician who is the leading challenger to Joe Biden in the next election, it is hard not to consider the possibility that the indictment is politically motivated. This is especially true when one considers the soft-on-crime approach Bragg has taken in his district while taking massive efforts to prosecute a legally ambiguous case against Donald Trump. Related: Watch: Mayor Adams Takes Shot at Biden, Claims NYC is Being 'Destroyed' by Fed Gov't If the House GOP can prove that Bragg took federal funding to conduct a politically motivated investigation against the former president, it will have massive potential ramifications on the case and on the 2024 election. It could mobilize Trump’s voter base to come out in full force next year, and it could even sway many independents away from the Democrats, who are uneasy with the political nature of the prosecution. In fact, Bragg may have just handed Trump the campaign tool that he needs to win back the White House in 2024 by inadvertently creating a groundswell of support for the former president. Needless to say, Bragg needs to tread very carefully, otherwise, he risks seeing the whole thing blow up in his face. link

DA Says Indictment Announcement Coming This Summer In Trump Probe
by Liza Carlisle April 25, 2023 OPINION: This article contains commentary which may reflect the author’s opinion Since the voting chaos of the 2020 election, accusations from MAGA Republicans that the Democrats manipulated voting in swing states have been countered by Democrats. In the swing state of Georgia, an ongoing investigation during the last two years, not unlike the Jan 6 probe, is attempting to accuse former President Trump’s campaign of interfering with election processes. Similar to the Jan 6 situation, where President Trump acknowledged the right of citizens to peacefully protest, the outcome of the election in Georgia prompted the same acknowledgment. Democrats are quick to turn Trump’s words into “incitement of violence” rather than encouragement to the American people to speak out against what was perceived as a faulty outcome. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been cagey about whether or not Trump will be charged with anything, and is inching toward an announcement in the future. On Monday said she would announce this summer whether former President Donald Trump and his allies would be charged with crimes related to alleged interference in Georgia’s 2020 election. The AJC stated: Willis revealed the timetable in a letter to local law enforcement in which she asked them to be ready for “heightened security and preparedness” because she predicted her announcement “may provoke a significant public reaction.” In the letters, Willis said she will announce possible criminal indictments between July 11 and Sept. 1, sending one of the strongest signals yet that she’s on the verge of trying to obtain an indictment against Trump and his supporters. “Please accept this correspondence as notice to allow you sufficient time to prepare the Sheriff’s Office and coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure that our law enforcement community is ready to protect the public,” Willis wrote to Fulton Sheriff Patrick Labat. Similar letters were hand-delivered to Darin Schierbaum, Atlanta’s chief of police, and Matthew Kallmyer, director of the Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency. “We have seen in recent years that some may go outside of public expressions of opinion that are protected by the First Amendment to engage in acts of violence that will endanger the safety of those we are sworn to protect,” Willis wrote. “As leaders, it is incumbent upon us to prepare.” The wording of Willis’ statement obviously is designed to imply that violence is expected, and implies that Trump is responsible for that violence. Similar actions preceding Trump’s indictment in Manhattan seem to be inspiring Georgia Willis to repeat those actions in an attempt to create a public perception that violence will erupt on Trump’s behalf. Since then, Trump’s attorneys have filed a wide-ranging motion seeking to dismiss Willis from the case, as well as any evidence compiled by the special grand jury. Trump’s legal team said in a statement that the correspondence does “nothing more than set for a potential timetable” for charging decisions, AJC reports. “On behalf of President Trump, we filed a substantive legal challenge for which the DA’s Office has yet to respond,” attorneys Drew Findling, Jennifer Little, and Marissa Goldberg said. “We look forward to litigating that comprehensive motion which challenges the deeply flawed legal process and the ability of the conflicted DA’s Office to make any charging decisions at all.” AJC stated about the Manhattan preliminaries: Authorities erected barricades and shut down streets surrounding the courthouse. The police issued a stand-ready order for roughly 35,000 officers in the region as well as city, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. About an hour before Trump’s afternoon court appearance, a number of Manhattan courtrooms were closed, according to published reports. There was also a total shutdown of the route the former president took to the courthouse from Trump Tower and from the courthouse to board his plane at LaGuardia Airport. Democrat legal observers predict that her letter implies an indictment is coming. “It obviously seems to imply the case against Trump will be presented to a grand jury,” former Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter said. “I don’t think any of the other targets would raise that level of caution. I think that’s the obvious implication.” And Norm Eisen, a former ethics czar under President Barack Obama who co-authored a Brookings Institute report on the Fulton probe, agreed. “While she does not have the former president’s name in her letter, the evidence and the applicable law in Georgia point to the substantial likelihood that Donald Trump and his principal co-conspirators will be included when she follows through on the plans she confirms in this letter,” Eisen said. The Fulton sheriff’s office referred any questions about Willis’s letter to the DA’s office. An APD spokesman said the department stands “ready to respond to demonstrations to ensure the safety of those in our communities and those exercising their First Amendment right, or to address illegal activity, should the need arise.” A spokeswoman for the Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency did not immediately respond to a request for comment, AJC noted. link

Bragg's Prosecution of Trump Hits Big Potential Snag: Judge 'Actually Should Have Been the Last Person Selected'
By Richard Moorhead May 1, 2023 at 1:51pm The New York judge tasked with overseeing the felony trial of former President Donald Trump has a history with the defendant. Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan has called the shots in proceedings involving Trump before. Merchan was tasked with overseeing a subpoena dispute between the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Trump Organization, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday. That dispute preceded a 2022 trial in which the Trump Organization was convicted of criminal tax fraud, according to CNN. The former president now faces 34 felonies brought about by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. In a new release about Trump’s indictment last month, the George Soros-funded prosecutor accused him of “falsifying New York business records in order to conceal damaging information and unlawful activity” before and after the 2016 presidential election. Trump has criticized the incessant legal probes of his company, personal finances and conduct as president as nothing more than partisan witch hunts wrought by leftist local prosecutors. One former Manhattan prosecutor is describing Merchan’s role in the upcoming trial as grossly inappropriate, considering his history in Trump-related legal matters. “There was not a random selection of a judge in this case, and there should have been,” former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Christopher Brennan said of Merchan’s assignment, according to the Journal. “He actually should be the last person selected, given the potential conflict,” Brennan said. On the contrary, Merchan was selected as the judge in Trump’s felony trial because of his experience in Trump-related legal matters, according to sources familiar with the assignment cited by the Journal. That history with Trump could complicate the judge’s role in the trial — with Trump’s attorneys likely to scrutinize him for potential bias against their client. Related: Pelosi Campaign Pays Up After Man Sues Over 'Invasive and Harassing' Text Messages The newest charges against the former president differ from previous investigations and legal probes significantly. He is facing charges in his own capacity rather than defending his business or his official acts as president. Trump could be sentenced to as many as 136 years in New York prison if he’s convicted on all charges. He’s pleaded not guilty to Bragg’s charges and intends to mount a vigorous criminal defense in the midst of his 2024 presidential campaign. Bragg’s felony charges against Trump are unprecedented: No other former president has been charged with a crime. link

Trump will Try to Move Stormy ‘Hush Payment’ Case to Federal Court
By Cristina Laila May. 4, 2023 12:10 pm President Trump will try to move the Stormy ‘hush payment’ case from a state court to a federal court. Trump’s lawyer, Todd Blanche, on Thursday made the announcement during a hearing, the Associated Press reported. Trump’s lawyers believe a move from a state court to a federal court will allow for a more diverse jury pool. 86% of people in Manhattan vote Democrat. A federal judge will then have to approve whether the case can be moved. AP reported: Donald Trump’s lawyer said Thursday the former president will seek to move his New York criminal case to federal court, a long-shot bid to avoid a trial in the state court where the indictment was brought. Trump’s lawyer, Todd Blanche, said at a hearing on an unrelated issue in the case that Trump’s defense team plans to file a motion Thursday asking to transfer the historic case from state court to federal court. Trump was hit with 34 felony counts after Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg sought to ‘get Trump’ in an effort to derail his 2024 presidential bid. Trump was hit with a criminal charge for every payment he made to his former lawyer Michael Cohen in connection with the ‘hush payments’ to the two women. Trump was charged with 34 criminal counts of falsifying business records and conspiracy. The indictment said the payments to the two women were to silence them about the affairs ‘in order to avoid those accounts harming his chances of winning the election over Hillary Clinton.’ The prosecutors said Trump’s so-called ‘crimes’ undermined the 2016 election. link

Trump Abruptly Returns To NYC To Confront His Accuser And ‘Hostile’ Judge
by Alisha Rodriguez May 4, 2023 OPINION: This article contains commentary which may reflect the author’s opinion Former President Donald Trump took a break from his round of golf in Scotland to respond to inquiries from the media about the continuing rape trial brought by author E. Jean Carroll. “Will you attend the trial, Mr. President?” one reporter asked. “I’m probably attending and I probably will and I think its a disgrace. It’s a disgrace that it’s allowed to happen against a rich guy or in my case, against a famous, rich and political person that’s leading the polls by 40 points,” he continued. “And I have to go back for a woman that made a false accusation about me, and I have a judge who is extremely hostile and I’m going to go back and I’m going to confront this. But this woman is a disgrace and it shouldn’t be allowed to happen in our country. You go to work,” he added. SEE IT HERE: Carroll, a journalist, columnist, and novelist from the United States, said that the late President Donald Trump had molested her in a department store changing room in the middle of the 1990s. In her book “What Do We Need Men For?,” published in 2019, Carroll leveled the charge. In “A Modest Proposal,” she describes the purported meeting. The charges have been refuted by Trump, who has termed them “totally false” and a “hoax.” In addition, he claimed that he had never met Carroll and that she was not his type. Carroll responded by suing Trump for defamation, claiming that his denials had harmed her career and reputation. Of the accusations she made against Trump, Carroll said from the stand on Wednesday, “I’m here because Donald Trump raped me, and when I wrote about it, he said it didn’t happen; he lied. He shattered my reputation, and I’m here to try to get my life back.” Trump asked for a trial postponement in Carroll’s defamation and violence case last month, citing the necessity for a “cooling off” time given the extensive media coverage of his indictment in Manhattan last month. The trial was scheduled to begin on April 25, and the defendant requested a one-month postponement. Kaplan, a senior federal judge in the Southern District of New York who was nominated by President Bill Clinton in 1994, denied the motion, declaring, “There is no justification for an adjournment. This case is entirely unrelated to the state prosecution.” Mediate reported more of the drama leading up to the trial. “In the days before the trial started, Trump posted insults on social media that did not amuse Judge Lewis Kaplan, to say the least. Tacopina told the court he would ‘try to address’ the public postings about the case ‘with my client.’” “Well, I hope you’re more successful,” Kaplan said in response, according to Raw Story, adding that Trump “may or may not be tampering with a new source of potential liability. … And I think you know what I mean.” “Developments in at least one of these matters, as well as actions and statements by Mr. Trump in relation to any, may well give rise to intense publicity that, in some respects, Mr. Trump might claim to be prejudicial in this case,” Kaplan noted. “Mr. Trump’s suggestion that a one-month trial postponement, in this case, would ensure the absence of any such developments in the period immediately preceding jury selection is not realistic.” link

Michael Avenatti Reveals Unseen Evidence Will Clear Trump in Alvin Bragg Case
David Hawkins May 13, 2023 - 12:05 pm Michael Avenatti, the disgraced former lawyer of adult star Stormy Daniels, has revealed that there’s evidence yet to emerge that clears President Donald Trump in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s politically motivated case. Tweeting from prison, Avenatti warned Bragg that his case against Trump will fall apart when all the evidence comes to light. Avenatti revealed that there are text messages and emails that have yet to be seen that prove Trump’s innocence. Despite wanting to see Trump prosecuted by Bragg, Avenatti admits that “unfortunately” this evidence will emerge and it will clear the 45th president. In a long thread on Twitter, Avenatti said: “There are many critical facts and pieces of evidence (texts, emails, etc.) relating to the hush money scandal that have yet to see the light of day. “And they will unfortunately be very damaging to the prosecution if Trump stands trial. “At this point, you simply can’t build a case on the testimony of Cohen & Daniels. “As evidenced by Michael Cohen’s @cnn interview by @kaitlancollins last night, he is CLUELESS as to how trials and cross-examinations work, and the broad permissible areas of inquiry (e.g. bias, past lies, fraud). “And yet, he keeps talking! “He will be destroyed on cross, thus severely damaging the case. “Atty Joe Tacopina is no Rudy Giuliani/Sydney Powell. “The guy knows his way around a criminal courtroom. “He will destroy Michael ‘Dumb as a Box of Rocks’ Cohen on the stand, esp. seeing as Cohen publicly lied for 15 mos. and now won’t stop talking on TV. “Each time a witness gives another TV or print interview, Trump’s defense gets easier and stronger. “And when they demand and get paid for an interview, it is an unmitigated DISASTER for the prosecution. “If Bragg can’t even control his own witnesses, how can he hope to ever successfully prosecute the case? He also warned Democrat President Joe Biden that if he doesn’t turn the economy around, Trump will win in 2024. “It is truly remarkable to watch all of these so-called ‘experts’ in mainstream media once again underestimate the electability and appeal of Trump. “They have learned NOTHING in 8 yrs. “Bottom line-if the economy declines further as many predict, Trump has a better than 60% chance of winning the WH.” link

Trump Exposes His Bogus Accuser E. Jean Carroll’s Previous Tweets
By Jim Hoft May. 14, 2023 6:39 pm On Saturday, The Gateway Pundit reported that E. Jean Carroll’s weird obsession with former President Donald Trump was revealed by internet sleuths who dug up her old online posts. In a post that Carroll made on Facebook in August 2012, she indulged her sexual fantasies by pondering the question, “Would you have sex with Donald Trump for $17,000?” (Even if you could A) give the money to Charity? B) Close your eyes? And he’s not allowed to speak?)”. Prior to that post, Carroll announced that she is a “MASSIVE” fan of Donald Trump’s show, The Apprentice. It seems weird that you’re so into a show which entirely centered on your alleged rapist. “Two many good TV shows on Sunday Night! My God! What do YOU watch?” Carroll posted on Facebook in 2012. She then answered her own question by declaring, “I’m a MASSIVE Apprentice fan.” A tweet in 2018 revealed that E. Carroll was plotting to look for a MAGA woman and convinced her not to vote for Trump in the coming election. “Each of us should find one Trump Woman THAT WE PERSONALLY KNOW and spend the next three months tenderly and intelligently convincing her to vote against the candidates of his party in November. THAT WOULD STOP HIM,” she wrote Continued with her tweets at the link
