Rupert Murdoch Gave Order To Let Tucker Carlson Go Because Of Lawsuit By Ex-Producer: Report
David Hawkins April 24, 2023 - 3:36 pm Fox News boss Rupert Murdoch personally pushed out star host Tucker Carlson according to a new report from The Los Angeles Times. Murdoch made the move reportedly over a lawsuit filed by former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.” Grossberg booked guests for “Tucker Carlson Tonight” before she was fired earlier this year. She filed a complaint in a New York federal court on March 20. Grossbertg accused Tucker and other Fox executives of having “a work environment that subjugates women based on vile sexist stereotypes.” “Ms. Grossberg was isolated, overworked, undervalued, denied opportunities for promotion, and generally treated significantly worse than her male counterparts, even when those men were less qualified than her,” the complaint said. Fox News denied the allegations and said they will “vigorously defend Fox against all of her legal claims which have no merit.” “FOX News Media engaged an independent outside counsel to immediately investigate the concerns raised by Ms. Grossberg, which were made following a critical performance review,” a spokesperson said. According to The Los Angeles Times: A Fox News representative had no other details on Carlson’s exit. People familiar with the situation who were not authorized to comment publicly said the decision to fire Carlson came straight from Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch. Carlson’s exit is related to the discrimination lawsuit filed by Abby Grossberg, the producer fired by the network last month, the people said. Carlson’s senior executive producer Justin Wells has also been terminated, according to people familiar with the matter. A Fox News representative would not comment. link

PROOF Tucker Was Blindsided: “We’ll Be Back Monday” (VIDEO)
By Anthony Scott Apr. 24, 2023 3:30 pm As The Gateway Pundit reported Monday morning, Tucker Carlson and Fox News “agreed to part ways” over the weekend. The move by Fox News was shocking considering Tucker Carlson had the highest-rated show on the network. Tucker who has been at Fox News since 2009, aired his last show on Friday, April 21st and in that show, he made no mention of “parting ways” with Fox but rather he said, “We’ll be back Monday.” WATCH: Tucker on his last show was interviewing a pizza delivery guy who stopped a robbery. When the segment concluded he did his normal outro and told viewers he would be back Monday, which reveals something big happened over the weekend. Tucker who has been at Fox for 14 years deserves a fairwell show at the least but it appears Fox News is having none of that. It’s interesting to note Carlson’s departure comes after Fox News was sued for over $787 million and just a day after CBS News aired an interview with Ray Epps. Journalist Jack Posobiec thought the “coincidence” was bizarre too: link

Insider Sources Reveal Tucker Carlson's Departure Was a Firing - Not Voluntary Like Company Said
By Bryan Chai April 24, 2023 at 1:37pm If you care at all about conservative media, you’ve undoubtedly heard by now that Tucker Carlson is no longer with Fox News. The stunning announcement, which was made Monday, sees the 53-year-old firebrand leaving the network after 14 years. Carlson started at Fox News as a contributor in 2009, before blossoming into the primetime powerhouse he currently is best known as. His eponymous show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” first aired in 2016 to a smashing ratings success, and continued to be one of Fox News’ heaviest hitters on network cable (his show’s late-night re-runs were beating first-run content from CNN, for example.) So. From all indications, Carlson appeared to be a beloved co-worker, was enjoying smashing ratings success, and hadn’t insulted any women over the age of 50 recently. In other words: He’s the literal antithesis of the also recently fired Don Lemon. Both Lemon and Carlson found themselves in the unemployment line on Monday, but Lemon’s firing from CNN makes some semblance of sense. By all indications, Lemon was a malcontent and bully on his show, which would’ve justified his firing even if “CNN This Morning” was a smashing success (it isn’t.) But as for Carlson? Something about that firing still doesn’t add up. Naturally, fans and critics alike are pondering aloud what had happened to Carlson. New details from Mediaite, an outlet that focuses on the news about the news, suggested that Carlson’s departure from Fox News may not have been so amicable. In a statement sent to The Western Journal, Fox News noted that all sides “have agreed to part ways” before thanking him for “his service to the network.” According to Mediaite, that “agreement” to part ways may not have been the most accurate way to describe the situation. The outlet, citing multiple unnamed sources, claimed that Carlson’s expulsion was “not voluntary,” and that the conservative firebrand had been forced out by the powers above him. “He was totally surprised,” one source told Mediaite. “He had no idea.” That same source told the outlet: “It was a firing.” An unexpected firing would make sense, given Carlson ended what ultimately turned out to be the final episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Friday by telling his viewers, “We’ll be back on Monday.” Mediaite went further in its report, painting a chaotic scene at Fox News. The report claims that the Fox newsroom is “in a state of shock” and that the news of Carlson’s firing “hit like a bomb.” Despite the recent report about this being a firing and not a mutual separation, there are still many lingering questions such as the ever-important question of, “Why?” For now, the primary line of thinking is that Carlson’s abrupt removal was connected to the near-$800 million settlement Fox News made with Dominion Voting Systems. Carlson has been inextricably linked to that controversy. But while Fox News decides how to eventually explain Carlson’s firing, it’s currently grappling with the immediate headaches of Carlson’s departure. Given Carlson’s general popularity, it’s little surprise that the two fiercest responses to his firing have come from furious fans — and investors. link

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Blasts Fox News for Ousting Tucker Carlson and Presents an Interesting Theory on Why it Happened
By Cullen Linebarger Apr. 24, 2023 3:20 pm The Gateway Pundit broke the earth-shattering news this morning that Tucker Carlson and Fox News were parting ways for unspecified reasons. “Tucker Carlson Tonight” was Fox’s top-rated program. Despite this, he will not be airing a farewell show. Fox News’ stock has dropped following Tucker’s departure. Until we hear directly from Tucker, we may never know why Fox News made the seemingly suicidal decision to send him packing. But Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has an interesting and plausible theory. Tucker spent part of his April 19 monologue calling out the corporate media shilling for Big Pharma and promoting their products. Tucker then went on to praise RFK. Jr. for being completely right about how “ineffective and potentially dangerous” the COVID vaccines are. RFK. Jr. says this speech five days earlier is exactly why Tucker is gone. Fox fires @tuckercarlson five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging that the TV networks pushed a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their Pharma advertisers. Carlson’s breathtakingly courageous April 19 monologue broke TV’s two biggest rules: Tucker told the truth about how greedy Pharma advertisers controlled TV news content and he lambasted obsequious newscasters for promoting jabs they knew to be lethal and worthless. For many years, Tucker has had the nation’s biggest audience averaging 3.5 million — 10 times the size of CNN. Fox just demonstrated the terrifying power of Big Pharma. Fox fires @tuckercarlson five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging that the TV networks pushed a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their Pharma advertisers. Carlson’s breathtakingly courageous April 19 monologue broke TV’s two biggest rules: Tucker told the… — Robert F. Kennedy Jr (@robertkennedyjr) April 24, 2023 Here is the part of the monologue RFK Jr. is referring to: The channels took hundreds of millions of dollars from Big Pharma companies and then they shelled for their sketchy products on the air and as they did that, they maligned anyone who was skeptical of those products. At the very least, this was a moral crime. It was disgusting, but it was universal. It happened across the American news media. They all did it. So, at this point, the question isn’t who in public life is corrupt? Too many to count. The question is who is telling the truth? There are not many of those. One of them is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Robert Kennedy knew early that the COVID vaccines were both ineffective and potentially dangerous and he said so in public to the extent he was allowed. Science has since proven Robert f. Kennedy Jr. right. Unequivocally right. But Kennedy was not rewarded for this. He was vilified. He was censored because he dared to criticize their advertisers, the news media called Bobby Kennedy a Nazi, and then they attacked his family, but he kept doing it. He was not intimidated and we were glad he wasn’t. This is one of those moments when it’s nice to have a truth teller around. It’s helpful because suddenly the stakes are very high. WATCH (Rant on media and RFK Jr. goes from 1:35-2:45): (At link below) What makes Kennedy’s theory intriguing is Tucker’s rant came just one day after Fox News reached a settlement with Dominion Voting Systems in the voting machine company’s defamation lawsuit for $787 million. Given this massive financial loss, it’s fair to wonder whether Fox News was trying to avoid a potential lawsuit from Big Pharma next. The channel probably cannot afford to absorb a similar financial defeat. link

REPORT: Here’s the Reason Tucker Carlson Is Out at Fox News
BY MATT MARGOLIS 3:15 PM ON APRIL 24, 2023 REPORT: Here’s the Reason Tucker Carlson Is Out at Fox News ($16.4 billion) In the wake of the news that Tucker Carlson has left Fox News, many people are wondering why. “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” the statement from the network explained. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.” No other details were offered, leading to speculation that his departure may have been connected to the recent settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over 2020 election coverage. But according to the Los Angeles Times, individuals familiar with the matter who were not authorized to speak on it suggested that the decision to terminate Carlson’s employment was made directly by Rupert Murdoch, the chairman of Fox Corporation. According to the report, Murdoch has been concerned about the host’s reporting on the January 6th Capitol riot. Carlson’s coverage of the riot included presenting footage not shown by the January 6 committee. Among other things, the footage shows Capitol Police escorting the so-called “QAnon Shaman” Jacob Chansley around the Capitol and letting him into spaces. This footage prompted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and others to call for Chansley to get a retrial. “Jacob Chansley deserves a retrial,” she tweeted. “All he did was nonviolently walk through the Capital [sic] wearing a costume while being escorted by Capital [sic] Police. I’m sick of the lies and the double standard.” Other footage presented by Carlson showed Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick walking around after the riot, contradicting liberal claims that he was killed during the violence. Tucker also reported on evidence that suggested that federal agents may have been the ones who incited the violence. According to court documents, the undercover agents seen in body cam footage were not only observing but actively encouraging the protesters with chants like “Go! Go! Go!” “Stop the Steal!” and “Whose House? Our House!” The curious thing about the report that Murdoch was directly responsible for pushing out Tucker is that last month, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) called for Tucker to be censored, insisting that Murdoch “has a special obligation to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight, now that he’s seen how he has perverted and slimed the truth, and from letting him go on again and again and again.” Democrats may have wanted Tucker out at Fox News, but wherever he ends up next, he could become an even bigger problem for them. link

Kari Lake Backs Tucker Carlson, Reminds America What Happened When She Left Fox
By Joe Saunders April 24, 2023 at 11:54am While bombshell news that star Fox host Tucker Carlson and the network had “agreed to part ways” was still reverberating in the media, another current star of the conservative movement wasted no time in weighing in. And Kari Lake, the Arizona Republican candidate for governor who’s still waging a battle in court over the November election, left no doubt about whose side she was taking. And hinted at the possibilities still to come. In a Twitter post, the former television news anchorwoman congratulated Carlson — while many were still processing the abrupt departure. “The best decision I ever made was leaving Fox,” Lake wrote in an implicit reminder for the country of the turn her life has taken since leaving KSAZ-TV, Fox 10 in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2021. “Good for you, @tuckercarlson. You’re free & uncensored!” Obviously, it wasn’t clear on Monday just how much of the “decision” to leave Fox rested with Carlson and how much was dictated by the network — possibly linked to the settlement Fox reached with Dominion Voting Systems over Dominion’s defamation lawsuit against the network. But Lake’s comment had a marked difference from the cheering among leftist figures in the establishment media — the weird sisters of “The View” literally sang in joy. And for many of Lake’s followers, the stunning development actually represents an opportunity for Carlson to broaden his influence. No one expects to see a lightning-rod of the right appearing on “World News Tonight,” of course, but there’s no doubt he’s going to be a hot commodity in the conservative media world. As one Twitter user put it: “Can’t wait to see the bidding war for his content.” Others called it a chance to see Carlson “unleashed.” It would be tough to overstate the impact Carlson has had from his primetime spot since taking it over from former Fox host Bill O’Reilly in 2016, especially in recent years. The fact that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy chose Carlson and his program to release never-publicly seen footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion speaks to the influence “Tucker Carlson Tonight” had attained, not just among conservative Americans but in the news media in general. The extent that Carlson’s use of the footage generated reactions and headlines well beyond traditionally conservative media outlets proved that. And it’s a good bet that whatever steps Carlson takes in the future are going to be just as closely followed. In fact, in the media environment of 2023, with endless platforms and outlets for a voice that’s going to be listened to, Carlson’s impact could — with time — be even greater than it was at Fox. When Lake left her job as a Fox television newswoman, she was a local journalist in the Phoenix, Arizona, market. Now, she’s a headline name around the country. Carlson is already a headline name around the country. Where he could go from here is going to be fascinating to watch. This commenter was no doubt speaking for millions when they heard the news on Monday: “One of the few people will follow wherever he goes,” the Twitter user wrote. Even if nothing else was certain on Monday, that one is a sure bet. link

Megyn Kelly Sets The View Hosts Celebrating Tucker Carlson’s Departure Straight: “Not one of these women could solo host a show and get ratings”
David Hawkins April 24, 2023 - 5:21 pm Megyn Kelly set the hosts of “The View” straight after they publicly celebrated the news that Tucker Carlson was out at Fox News. An ex-CNN media critic posted a video of the celebration with the caption: “The studio audience at The View broke out in applause when Tucker Carlson’s ouster was announced. Then the co-hosts did a wave and led the crowd in singing “Goodbye.” A disgusted Megyn Kelly said: “Not one of these women could solo host a show and get ratings. Not one. They are and will always be ensemble players. Their jealousy is on full display here, and ideological hatred too of course.” Kelly later admonished Fox News on her show saying they made a terrible move. She said: “This is a terrible move by Fox and it’s a great thing for Tucker Carlson. I don’t know what drove Fox News to make this decision and it was clearly Fox News’ decision because they’re not letting him say goodbye. “That’s my supposition that’s not inside knowledge, but this the irony here is that how “They get rid of Tucker… talk about misjudging your audience yet again. “I still have great relationships many many viewers are now my fans on this show and he’s the only reason they watch, a lot of them, Tucker’s the only reason a lot of people still watch Fox News. “I don’t know the actual circumstances but the fact that he said this on Friday night before he signed off suggests to me this was a management decision.” link

Reactions to Tucker Carlson News Pour In - Fox News Might Have Made a Huge Mistake
By Johnathan Jones April 24, 2023 at 12:03pm Fox News made the shocking decision to part ways with its star host Tucker Carlson on Monday, and if the initial reaction to the news is indicative of what is to come, the network made a mistake. We don’t yet know the rationale for the split, which Fox News host Harris Faulkner said was mutual in the first on-air mention of the news — and other outlets reported was not. In a vague statement, Fox News said, “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways.” It concluded, “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.” Carlson will not have the opportunity to say goodbye to the millions of people who tuned in to his show regularly. Friday’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” was its last. As of early Monday afternoon, Carlson had not yet commented on his split from Fox News after almost a decade-and-a-half — or what might be next for him. Meanwhile, the network was tweeting Monday as if all was well and the highest-rated host in all of cable news hadn’t just been dropped. Fox News also dunked on CNN’s Don Lemon, who was dismissed Monday by the liberal network. While the network was dropping puns about Lemon’s well-earned termination, Carlson’s fans and other observers unleashed an unrelenting wave of attacks against Fox News. Many made dire predictions about the fate they believe lingers around the corner for cable’s most-watched network: (Numerous tweets at link below.) In addition to the wave of anti-Fox News sentiment on social media, there were immediate financial ramifications to the network’s decision to move on from Carlson. Fox News’ parent company, Fox Corp., saw its stock tumble more than 5 percent at one point Monday morning in the immediate aftermath of the news. Many more bad days might lie ahead for Fox News. The network has split with two popular hosts in a period of less than a week in Carlson and Dan Bongino. The latter announced Thursday he and Fox News were unable to come to terms on a new contract extension. Meanwhile, former House Speaker Paul Ryan — who alienated many on the right — still sits on the company’s board of directors and has so since 2019. link

Tucker Carlson Exposed WEF’s Agenda Days before Fox Firing
Frank Bergman April 25, 2023 - 12:57 pm Just days before Fox News announced that Tucker Carlson had been ousted, the network’s former star anchor ran a segment exposing the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) agenda. In one of his last shows to air on Fox, Carlson put out an exposé on the efforts of Klaus Schwab’s WEF to dramatically alter the public’s diet. As Slay News has previously reported, the WEF has been pushing to change the diets of people worldwide for some time by promoting bug eating. The WEF argues that banning meat consumption and compelling the public to eat insects instead will “save the planet.” Carlson, the biggest ratings draw in all of cable news, ran an exposé on the WEF’s bug-eating agenda. He linked the WEF’s plans to New York City’s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, who vowed to reduce public meat and dairy consumption to “fight climate change.” As Slay News reported last week, Adams said during a press conference that he plans to slash meat and dairy consumption in NYC to reduce food-based gas emissions by 33 percent in the next 7 years. WATCH: Carlson promoted his segment on social media by mocking Adams’ efforts and warned that the WEF and “NYC mayor are plotting to change your diet forever.” WATCH: The week before, Carlson launched his “Let Them Eat Bugs” segment on Fox Nation. The episode directly exposes the WEF’s efforts to push the public to switch from meat to insect consumption. In recent days, Carlson had been heavily promoting the “Let Them Eat Bugs” exposé, posting videos to social media that drew attention to the anti-meat agenda of Mayor Adams and the WEF. As Slay News reported earlier, Fox boss Rupert Murdoch personally ordered the firing of Carlson. Murdoch is a regular attendee of the World Economic Forum’s annual gathering in Davos, Switzerland, appearing practically every year. Interestingly, Carlson was also fired just hours after radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) appeared on MSNBC and called for his to be banned from TV. AOC deceitfully claimed that Carlson and “other folks on Fox” are inciting “violence,” as Slay News reported. “Federal regulation, in terms of what’s allowed on air and what isn’t,” she demanded. “And when you look at what Tucker Carlson and what of these other folks on Fox do, it is very very clearly incitement of violence, very clearly incitement of violence and that is the line that we have to be willing to contend with,” she said. WATCH: In response to a viral video of AOC’s comments, Twitter users fired back by noting that AOC simply wants to silence those who are critical of the Democrats’ agenda. However, if AOC was actually promoting the WEF’s agenda, it wouldn’t be the first time. In January, when calls emerged from the Biden administration to ban gas stoves from American homes, reporting from Slay News revealed that this push was linked to the WEF’s agenda. At the time, AOC spoke out in defense of the plan to ban gas stoves, arguing, without evidence, that the household appliances “cause brain damage.” After a little digging, however, it emerged that much of AOC’s comments in defense of the ban directly parrotted talking points from the WEF. link

Watch: Is This The Speech That Got Tucker Carlson Removed From Fox News?
BY TYLER DURDEN TUESDAY, APR 25, 2023 - 09:00 AM Tucker Carlson, now ousted from Fox News, gave a speech last week at the 50th Anniversary of the Heritage Foundation on the bigger picture of good and evil within our society. The conflict is no longer about politics, it's about the very moral foundations of civilization. The new ideological movements are based on old and dark premises, and their motivations are solely to destroy what they can in order to take what they can. Perhaps Carlson was getting a little too close to the truth... Video at link

Tucker Carlson's Faith in God May Have Led to Fox News Ouster, Bombshell New Report Finds
By Jack Davis April 25, 2023 at 4:35pm A new report says that Tucker Carlson’s public comments about his faith and a worldview that society is in a battle between good and evil may have been a factor in Fox News kicking him to the curb. The Vanity Fair report by Gabriel Sherman notes that other causes have been suggested — from aftershocks of the lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems in which Fox News settled for $787.5 million to allegations of a hostile work environment by a former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg. However, it said that a new theory emerged that Fox Corp. chair Rupert Murdoch wanted Carlson gone due to the former hoist’s public embrace of religious views that paralleled those of Ann Lesley Smith, who was formerly engaged to Murdoch. Other reports have said Murdoch was instrumental in Carlson’s ouster. The report used Carlson’s speech Friday at the Heritage Foundation’s 50th Anniversary gala as an example, saying it contained “religious overtones that even Murdoch found too extreme” according to a source that Sherman said was “was briefed on Murdoch’s decision-making.” “That stuff freaks Rupert out. He doesn’t like all the spiritual talk,” the source said. Sherman wrote that Smith said Carlson was “a messenger from God” and related a tale told by a source that took place in late March. Carlson dined with Murdoch and Smith at Murdoch’s Bel Air vineyard. During dinner, Smith got out her Bible and read passages from the Book of Exodus. “Rupert just sat there and stared,” the source said. “A few days after the dinner, Murdoch and Smith called off the wedding. By taking Carlson off the air, Murdoch was also taking away his ex’s favorite show,” Sherman wrote. During his speech, Carlson spoke about the battle of good vs. evil in a clip posted to Twitter that has garnered millions of views. In the speech, he likened abortion to child sacrifice. “Well, what’s the point of child sacrifice? Well, there’s no policy goal entwined with that. No, that’s a theological phenomenon. And that’s kind of the point I’m making. None of this makes sense in conventional political terms. When people, or crowds of people, or the largest crowd of people at all, which is the federal government, the largest human organization in human history decide that the goal is to destroy things, destruction for its own sake, ‘Hey, let’s tear it down,’ what you’re watching is not a political movement. It’s evil,” he said. Carlson said good “is characterized by order, calmness, tranquility, peace, whatever you want to call it, lack of conflict, cleanliness. Cleanliness is next to godliness. It’s true. It is.” “And evil is characterized by their opposites. Violence, hate, disorder, division, disorganization, and filth. So, if you are all in on the things that produce the latter basket of outcomes, what you’re really advocating for is evil. That’s just true. I’m not calling for religious war. Far from it. I’m merely calling for an acknowledgment of what we’re watching,” he said. Carlson concluded the speech by saying a fact-based approach will not win. “I’ve tried. That doesn’t work. And two, maybe we should all take just 10 minutes a day to say a prayer about it. I’m serious. Why not?” he said. link

Globalist-obedient Fox News continues to shed truth-tellers as network parts ways with top-rated Tucker Carlson, Dan Bongino
Tuesday, April 25, 2023 by: JD Heyes Tags: Censored, contract, Dan Bongino, dismiss, firings, fox news, Fox news Media, Journalism, lies, mainstream media, news cartels, parting ways, propaganda, real investigations, truth, truth tellers, Tucker Carlson, Unexplained (Natural News) Fox News, once thought of as the only competitor to the vast array of left-leaning “mainstream media,” has begun a purge of its most popular truth-tellers just days after two of its most popular hosts were canned. Last week, Dan Bongino announced on his radio show and podcast that he and Fox could not “come to terms” on a new contract. “Folks, regretfully, last week was my last show on Fox News on the Fox News Channel,” Bongino said on his podcast Thursday. “It’s tough. It’s tough to say that. You know, I’ve been there doing hits and working there for ten years…so the show ending was tough. “And I want you to know it’s not some big conspiracy. I promise you. There’s no acrimony. This wasn’t some WWE brawl that happened. We just couldn’t come to terms on an extension,” he added. “We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors,” Fox News said in a statement. The network intends to air “Lawrence Jones Cross Country” in place of Bongino’s program Saturday night while filling 10 p.m. with an encore of the weekday 11 p.m. program “Gutfeld!” Fox News plans to unveil a new schedule in the coming weeks, Variety reported. “I really enjoyed myself there and you know they were good to me for ten years. I mean they allowed me to do a show called ‘Unfiltered,’ did what we wanted to do over there and covered the topics we wanted to cover. And it’s a sad day. It’s a sad day,” he said. “They did give me the opportunity to do one last show. I don’t want you to think they like, showed me the door, that’s on me, not on them. But I just thought it was best to kind of go this way for now. Like I said, it’s not acrimonious. I have a great team over there,” he added. Bongino said his departure was amicable. But was it? Because on Monday, the network announced that it was parting ways with its biggest and most popular host, Tucker Carlson — who had not one but three shows on the network (his main program on Fox News and two on Fox’s streaming network Fox Nation). “Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st, Fox News said, meaning Carlson did not get a chance to sign off to his viewers. The news comes days after Fox News reached a historic 11th hour settlement with Dominion Voting Systems for over $787 million,” said a scoop from Axios. “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor. Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named,” Fox News said in a statement. “FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International and the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather. Currently the number one network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most watched television news channel for more than 21 consecutive years, while FBN ranks among the top business channels on cable. Owned by Fox Corporation, FOX News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month,” the statement added. Something is going on with Fox, and it’s not going to end well for the network that has literally led the cable news ratings for years. link

Bannon: Murdoch Paid Out Tucker Carlson’s FOX News Contract to Keep Him Off the Air – They Want to Keep the Leading Populist Voice Off the Airwaves – And Chop-Block Trump (VIDEO)
By Jim Hoft Apr. 25, 2023 11:38 am On Monday FOX News fired Tucker Carlson, their top-rated prime-time host. Like FOX hosts before him, Tucker’s final show was on Friday. He was not allowed back on the air. On Tuesday morning Steve Bannon took aim at the Murdochs and FOX News. Steve urged the War Room posse to turn off FOX. Steve Bannon then explained what might be taking place at FOX News. The Murdochs may have blocked Tucker Carlson, the leading prime-time populist voice from airwaves through the 2024 election. That way they chop-block Trump during the 2024 campaign. Thy want to the American people from the populist message. Steve Bannon: And, here’s what the Tucker drill is going to be. He’s got a long-term contract. The Wall Street Journal said yesterday that he was negotiating an extension to 2029. Right? And I think he still has got a couple of years, two or three years left on the contract. Just like Lou Dobbs and the other guys. They pay him out under the terms because they don’t want to set up their competitors. They pay him out the $20 million. He doesn’t have the option of going somewhere else. This is to take the voice of Populism and the voice of MAGA off of primetime. As I said in that speech, if DeSantis is not the guy to do it, they’ll find Glenn Youngkin or Tim Scott or Brian Kemp. They’ll find anybody to chop-block Trump in the primary. If that doesn’t work, they’ll get in back of Joe Biden. Right? And it’s all about stopping Trump and stopping MAGA… …I think what they’re going to do is try to pay him out on his contract. And just like they do with Lou Dobbs, other guys, and Megan Kelly. Tt’s only when your contract expires can then you start your podcast… This play, I believe, and I could be wrong, this play is to make sure that the Trump movement MAGA, and even where Tucker maybe is not full MAGA, he covers the issues in a sophisticated way for the audience to be able to kind of say, okay, I understand this, and grapple onto it. If you look at the punch list of what he covers, it’s amazing. They want that off primetime. They don’t want to give any support to Trump. It’s definitely time to turn off FOX News. Video at link

“Get Woke, Go Broke!” – Fox News in Turmoil as Americans Cancel Fox Nation Subscriptions at “Record Rate” Following Tucker’s Firing
By Cullen Linebarger Apr. 25, 2023 10:20 am The Gateway Pundit reported on the earth-shattering news on Monday morning that Tucker Carlson and Fox News were parting ways. “Tucker Carlson Tonight” was Fox’s top rated program. Despite this, he did not do a farewell show. Fox News’ stock cratered following Tucker’s departure. FOX NEWS STOCK IS DROPPING AFTER LOSING TUCKER. #TuckerCarlson pic.twitter.com/l9hSHYPMrA — Val (@trumpshurricane) April 24, 2023 According to far-left LA Times, Rupert Murdoch made the decision to fire Tucker over a BS discrimination lawsuit and because he dared to tell the truth about January 6th. Murdoch was too cowardly to stand up for the network’s biggest star and offered him up as a sacrifice to the drive-by media jackals. According to the Blaze, Fox News viewers are responding by cancelling their subscriptions to Fox Nation “at a record rate.” Fox Nation is a highly profitable subscription on demand video service with a variety of original programming. Tucker and other prominent Fox News anchors have had multiple specials on Fox Nation. Tucker was the only reason thousands of Americans subscribed to Fox Nation, however. If social media is to be believed, the subscription service is about to go bust. Here are what former fans of Fox News including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene are saying: Cable news is about to be taught a powerful lesson after Fox News caved to the woke mob and fired Tucker Carlson. Americans no longer blindly watch the news like they did decades ago, they only watch the ones who have courage to tell the truth. Americans are about to quit… — Rep. Tucker Hints At What He’s Doing Now After Fox News Fallout
Published 16 hours ago on April 25, 2023 By Alisha Rodriguez On Monday, it came to light that Tucker Carlson has left Fox News, leaving the network without a primetime show host who brought Fox a large percentage of their ratings. Fans were rightfully stunned by the news and even more so the network after it was revealed that Tucker’s show on Friday, April 21 was his last and there would be no farewell episode on Monday following the announcement, or at all. Forbes cites a short statement issued by the network, which reads, “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways.” “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” the statement added. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.” Tucker Carlson changed his Twitter bio in retaliation to being fired and replaced it with a link to tuckercarlson.com, his personal website. When you visit the website, a pop-up invites you to sign up to become a Tucker Carlson insider so you can learn about the future plans of the former Fox News star. Additionally, the site’s logo shows Tucker gazing off into the distance with a lake in the background. Carlson is well renowned for his appreciation of nature and, in particular, his love of fly fishing. The words “The sworn enemy of censorship” are written over the image. Detractors, notably Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), have repeatedly demanded that the Fox anchor be silenced. On Sunday, AOC appeared on MSNBC‘s ‘The Inside Interview with Jen Psaki’ to call for the silencing of conservative voices on cable news like Carlson because she believes that he “incite violence.”
“I believe that when it comes to broadcast television like Fox News, these are subject to federal law, federal regulation in terms of what is allowed on air and what isn’t,” the ‘Squad’ member claimed. “And when you look at Tucker Carlson and some of these other folks on Fox do, it is very clearly incitement of violence.”
“Very clearly incitement of violence. And that is the line that I think we have to be willing to contend with,” she concluded.
With Carlson leaving Fox, AOC appears to have scored a small win; yet, Carlson is unmistakably sending a message to those who would like to silence him. Americans are eager to know what the conservative leader’s future plans are as they recognize that his work on Fox is only the beginning.

Elon Musk Reacts To Tucker Carlson’s Departure From Fox News, Says Twitter Is A Free Speech Alternative
On Monday, it was announced that Tucker Carlson will be leaving Fox News with the host’s final show being last Friday, April 21st. “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the network said in a statement, according to Forbes. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” Fox continued in its statement. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.” In response to this news, Twitter CEO and billionaire Elon Musk took to Twitter to argue that the social media platform can be a place for Carlson to come make content given its free speech prioritization. “Elon Musk should hire Tucker Carlson and start a video service to compete with YouTube,” wrote Genevieve Roch-Decter to which Musk responded: “Or we don’t hire anyone, but simply enable content creators to prosper on this platform without applying censorship that goes beyond the law. Musk went on to explain that he expects creators on Twitter to be able to make even more money than those on YouTube. In addition to this statement, Musk pushed back on left-wing journalist Ed Krassenstein who stated the following about Carlson’s exit from Fox: “Tucker Carlson is a proven liar who doesn’t deserve to ever have a position with a news organization again. He deserves to be personally sued for defamation for spreading misinformation and lies. The man doesn’t seem to care about the truth. He only cares about spreading propaganda. Hopefully, Fox News replaces him with a real journalist, but I’m not holding out hope!” In response to this biased statement, Musk asked, “Are you ever critical of someone on the left?” It is clear that Musk, who was recently interviewed by Tucker Carlson, feels for the Fox News host’s sudden cancellation. Twitter can be an alternative for Tucker if he so chooses. So far, Carlson has yet to utilize the platform following his departure, but he noticeably has deleted his bio from his account. Americans across the country look forward to seeing what Tucker Carlson does next with his career. link

By Jim Hoft Apr. 26, 2023 9:55 am The Daily Mail ambushed Tucker Carlson on the way to dinner with his wife of 32 years on Tuesday night. Tucker told the Daily Mail reporters “retirement” was going great so far. The British tabloid posted the first photos of Tucker Carlson since his departure from FOX News was reported on Monday. Hollywood attorney Bryan Freedman is negotiating Tucker Carlson’s exit package from FOX News. Tucker has yet to make any public statements on his departure from FOX News. Via The Daily Mail. It’s been barely two days since his brutal ouster from Fox News – but Tucker Carlson looks like a man without a care in the world. The TV firebrand shrugged off the media storm and insisted he was more interested in enjoying a romantic date with his wife Susan as he broke his silence in an exclusive chat with DailyMail.com. ‘Retirement is going great so far,’ chuckled Carlson, 53, as he emerged from his $5.5 million beach home in Boca Grande, Florida on Tuesday night. ‘I haven’t eaten dinner with my wife on a weeknight in seven years.’ Pressed on his future, the flame-throwing former host of Tucker Carlson Tonight flashed a broad smile and joked: ‘Appetizers plus entree.’ link

Tucker Reappears In 8PM Time Slot, But Not With Fox -- Which Just Suffered "Catastrophic" Ratings Crash
BY TYLER DURDEN WEDNESDAY, APR 26, 2023 - 08:33 PM After Tucker Carlson's surprise split from Fox News, the #1 rated cable news host in history re-emerged from his home office on Wednesday to offer a stunning 8PM monologue covering his thoughts on the media landscape, and his future. According to Carlson, one of the things one notices when one takes a little 'time off' is "how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are. They're completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. "In five years we won't even remember that we had them... and yet, at the same time, the undeniably big topics - the ones that will define our future - get virtually no discussion at all. War, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources. When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues?" "Debates like that are not permitted in American media," Carlson continued, adding "Both political parties, and their donors, have reached consensus on what benefits them - and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it. "Suddenly the United States looks like a one-party state," Carlson said. Watch: Carlson doesn't think this will last, however, noting that while the above is a "depressing realization," he doesn't think this is permanent. "Our current orthodoxies won't last. They're brain-dead. Nobody actually believes them. Hardly anyone's life is improved by them. This moment is too inherently ridiculous to continue, and so it won't. The people in charge know this, that's why they're hysterical and aggressive. They're afraid. They've given up persuasion - they're resorting to force. But it won't work. When honest people say what's true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful. At the same time, the liars who've been trying to silence them shrink - and they become weaker. That's the iron-law of the universe; true things prevail." Tucker rhetorically asked "Where can you still find Americans saying true things? There aren't many places left, but there are some - and that's enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope. See you soon." Fox News, meanwhile, suffered a 'catastrophic drop in viewers' following Carlson's ouster for still-unknown reasons, according to The Federalist's Sean Davis. This is devastating... link

Tucker Carlson Releases Statement After Fox News Ouster: ‘There Is HopePAUL BOIS 26 Apr 2023 Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson released a video statement two days after he parted ways with his former employer where he called upon Americans to essentially abandon the uniparty complex and listen to new ideas. Released on Twitter, Tucker Carlson opened with a reflection on the decency of Americans — something that often gets clouded in the establishment media bubble where people often confuse shouting matches with genuine discussion. “One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many genuinely nice people there are in this country,” Tucker began. “Kind and decent people. People who really care about what’s true, and I know a bunch of hilarious people also. A lot of those. It’s got to be the majority of the population. Even now. So that’s heartening.” Tucker explained how this made him realize the intense stupidity displayed during “most of the debates you see on television.” “They are completely irrelevant. They mean nothing,” he said. “In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them. Trust me as someone who’s participated. And yes, at the same time, and this is the amazing thing, the undeniably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all: War, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources.” “When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues,” he continued. “It has been a long time. Debates like that are not permitted in American media.” Carlson said that both political parties and their donor classes have basically decided what Americans will be talking about based on what benefits them. He likened this “consensus” to a one-party state, what some conservative activists often refer to as the “uniparty.” “Our current orthodoxies won’t last. They’re brain-dead. Nobody actually believes them,” he said. “Hardly anyone’s life is improved by them. This moment is too inherently ridiculous to continue, and so it won’t. The people in charge notice, that’s why they’re hysterical and aggressive. They’re afraid. They’ve given up persuasion, they’re resorting to force. But it won’t work. When honest people say what’s true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful.” Carlson concluded his message with a call to hope: At the same time, the liars who have been trying to silence them shrink. And they become weaker. That’s the iron law of the universe. True things prevail. Where can you still find American saying true things. There aren’t many places left, but there are some, and that’s enough. As long as you can hear the words there is hope. See you soon. link

Tucker Carlson Given Job Offer with Salary Up to 3 Times More than He Was Making at Fox News
By C. Douglas Golden April 26, 2023 at 5:28am Fox News might be in a rough place after Tucker Carlson’s dismissal, but it looks like the host himself will be fine. According to the Times of San Diego, an online news outlet, San Diego-based One America News might be willing to pay $25 million to Carlson to join its network. “It would be great if we could get Tucker! I might give him around $25 million,” OAN CEO and founder Robert Herring told the outlet in an email, the Times of San Diego reported. “And he would be well worth that!” The move came after a tweet from OAN that said that perhaps “Fox News’ loss could be [OAN’s] gain.” It’s unclear whether the number Herring gave was annually or over the course of a longer deal. However, Carlson’s yearly salary as host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Fox News was in the area of $8 million, the Times of San Diego reported. If Herring’s offer was a yearly salary, that would be over three times more than Carlson was making at Fox. It’s also unclear what OAN can afford. The Times of San Diego talked to a former employee of the network, who said that the network’s limited distribution — it lost its deal with DirecTV after liberal pressure — might prevent it from landing Carlson. Eddie McCoven, identified by the Times of San Diego as a broadcaster who worked at OAN until 2020, told the outlet that he didn’t think the Carlson deal would be in the works “because with such a small reach now, what budget do they have for such a big name?” “It remains to be seen if OANN will survive the lawsuit it is facing from Dominion,” McCoven continued. “Many colleagues tell me they can’t even keep basic newsroom positions staffed. OANN lacks the programming direction needed to support top-tier talk show talent.” However, it would go a long way to restoring OAN’s reach. And there are other landing spots, too — including one with former Fox News host Glenn Beck, founder of TheBlaze and host of his own radio show. “We would love to have you here,” Beck said, addressing Carlson during his Monday show, shortly after Fox issued a terse statement announcing that “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways.” “You won’t miss a beat,” Beck added. “And together, the two of us will tear it up. Just tear it up.” Beck also said — certainly not alone among observers — that the move would end up hurting Fox News a lot more than it would end up hurting Carlson. “I think that will kill Fox, I really do,” Beck said. “I know so many people that – you know – still kind of like Fox. And they watch the other shows. But they’re like, ‘Tucker, Tucker is the only one that I really trust.’” As for Fox, Mediaite reported that Tucker’s first of what will be a rotating cast of replacements for now, Brian Kilmeade, drew 2.6 million viewers. The Monday prior, Carlson had drawn 3.2 million viewers — and keep in mind that at least some of Kilmeade’s viewership must have come from straight-up curiosity regarding Carlson’s firing. That drop is a pretty clear message. In the end, there might be more people watching the drama over where Carlson goes next than whoever ends up replacing him at Fox News. link

Kari Lake Pleads with Tucker Carlson, Offers to Help Him: 'I Beg You'
By Mike Landry April 26, 2023 at 12:55pm Kari Lake is asking former Fox News host Tucker Carlson to ignore possible contractual restrictions and continue speaking out for the good of the nation. Lake is a former reporter and the 2022 Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate, who, due to her claims of election irregularities, has still not conceded that race. In response to comments by Newsmax host Eric Bolling about a leftward tilt by Fox News, which included firing Carlson, Lake responded: “They’re running a business. They have the right to run it the way they will. “And it’s very obvious right now,” she added, “that Fox News is becoming the establishment GOP, which is really the uniparty Republicans. “They’re the ones who are in bed with the left,” Lake continued. “It’s the Democrats and the Republicans and the uniparty who are pushing a globalist agenda. “And they can’t afford to have hosts who are pushing Americanism, who are America first and love this country. “They can’t afford to have a Tucker Carlson speaking out over the next year and a half because it will ruin their push toward globalism,” Lake said. Addressing remaining Fox News hosts, she called on them not to allow Fox to use their voice and reputation to push propaganda. “Step away. Don’t let those golden handcuffs handcuff you to a agenda and narrative and propaganda that you don’t support. “This is your time to stand up, we have a year and a half to save our country,” Lake said. She added that she was concerned about any contractual agreement between Fox and Carlson where the network may pay him tens of millions of dollars to remain on the sidelines and say nothing. “We can’t afford to have Tucker Carlson’s voice silenced for a year and a half,” according to Lake. “I don’t know if Tucker’s listening to this, but if he happens to hear it: I beg you, Tucker Carlson, to speak out. “Break the terms of that contract. We need your voice over the next year and a half to save our country,” she said. “And if you’re sued by your former employer,” Lake continued, “we will help create a defense fund to help you fight that lawsuit. “We need your voice. We need every American’s voice who cares about this country in the next year and a half to save our Constitution and to save our country.” linkMeanwhile spotted with his wife in a golf cart near one of their homes in Florida, “Appetizers plus entrée” is all a smiling Carlson would say about his future as he expressed delight in newly-recovered evening dinners with his wife and joked about his “retirement.” But as viewers have come to know Carlson, it’s unlikely he’ll sidelined for long. link

Did You Spot What Was Behind Tucker Carlson in His First Post-Fox Video? It Says a Lot About Him
By Bryan Chai April 27, 2023 at 4:04pm If you were watching Fox News on Monday, you may have noticed that Tucker Carlson was not on during his usual prime-time broadcast slot. Of course, if you watch Fox News, you likely heard earlier that day that Carlson had been stunningly and abruptly fired from his post (and thus avoided his time slot altogether.) With news of Carlson’s departure breaking on Monday to the general public, the conservative firebrand’s staunchest fans had to wait until Wednesday to hear from him. It was worth the wait, for a multitude of reasons: Carlson’s eagerly anticipated message was poignant, thought-provoking, very well-received, and cast a long shadow on Fox News’ still-unnamed reason for firing Carlson (there are rampant theories, but nothing official.) The tweet has also garnered over 60 million views, a massive number by any metric. That message, however, is still the only thing Carlson has publicly released since his firing. Naturally, that leaves his fans poring over his videos like the Zapruder film, including a few noteworthy details about what was in the background of Carlson’s video. Most prominently? In the left of the video (to Carlson’s right), you can make out a peculiar document hanging on the studio wall. The Western Journal did some sleuthing, and discovered that what Carlson had behind him was a framed, single-page documentation of the U.S. Constitution. A remarkably similar one can be found here, assuming it’s not the same kind. And while that factoid may seem innocuous, it actually highlights just what kind of a person Fox News was losing. First, and foremost, there is a genuine patriotism that Carlson has long exuded on camera. Having a specially framed U.S. Constitution in his studio space just highlights that authenticity. It’s a far cry from the heavily manufactured “patriotism” of, say, the NFL’s “Salute to Service” campaign. Second, Carlson clearly values American history and the work of the founding fathers. The U.S. Constitution is the ultimate crystallization of both, and Carlson deserves kudos for highlighting it so prominently in the background of his video. Third, Carlson has always advocated for the rule of law on his shows and when speaking publicly. Showcasing the Constitution highlights Carlson’s appreciation for the rule of written law. But beyond any examples of patriotism or Carlson’s appreciation of the letter of the law, the 53-year-old’s sudden departure from Fox News has left the news network with one less, genuinely good human being. Anecdotes and recollections of Carlson’s kindness poured in on social media following his firing, and it was enough to genuinely call into question the wisdom of Fox News. One thing is for sure. Whatever it is that the patriotic Carlson does next, his fans will be watching with eager anticipation. And keeping an eye on any more neat details hidden in the background. link
