My 16 yr old daughter was just going through the hiring process at a local McDonalds. They told her that there is no dicriminating against gays. They told her that she can't say a guy is hot because he might be offended if he is gay. They also wanted to know if any of her family members are on TANF. That is government assistance. Why is it any of their business of any of our family members are on that. They then told her that if she has sex they don't want to hear about it. Ahhhhhhhhhh! You have no idea how angry I am right now. They told her how some girl has to stop at a certain time everytime she works so she can take her birth control pills. WHY IS THIS EVEN BEING DISCUSSED? Needless to say after I told her dad she is

They told her that she can't say a guy is hot because he might be offended if he is gay. That's ridiculous. My son is gay. If some girl walked up to him and told him he was hot (and girls go up to him all the time and tells him this anyway, I kid you not ) he would be thrilled. Whoever 'they' are sure are clueless about what they think gays find offensive.

Oops...looks like I hit submit before I finished my sentence -
After I told her dad, she's no longer in the process of being hired - he won't have her working there.
Sorry you're confused baydoll - this has me so upset - the young woman who was interviewing her said these things, and she cussed a lot during the so-called interview too. My daughter is home-schooled and not used to these things; I'm don't know what to do about sending her to college after she graduates next year - I don't want to send her someplace where they'll destroy her faith.
Anyway, I returned her uniform to the manager and told her about this stuff. She said she would deal with it.

Oh okay, no problem! Your husband did the right thing, good for him. I wouldn't want my daughter working there either. I swear the PC in this country is getting totally absurd lately it's burns me to no end. Like I said, I'm a mother of a gay son and through him I know a bunch of young gay people and there is one thing I would NEVER do is 'tone down' whatever I say to them because of fear I might 'offend' them. How ridiculous. In the first place, my son and his friends know when one is being 'fake' and in the second place if they DO get offended, SO WHAT! They're not babies. So deal with it! I swear! Oh and welcome aboard! Glad to have you here! Tell us more a little more about yourself.

It's getting harder and harder to find any place for a believer (especially for a young believer) to work at or school to attend that isn't taken over and bombarded by evil. Just part of the Last Days I guess. The Lord warned us this would be the case. Just do a LOT of praying for her. A prayer of a righteous man avails much. Or in your case a prayer of a righteous mom avails much. I will pray for her (and you as well) too.
