She's the sweet tuxedo I rescued, along with her four babies, the day before they were going to be killed. I went out on the porch yesterday and thought she was sleeping; I picked her up to give her some cuddles and she was as stiff as a board - I have no idea of what happened; she was fine at breakfast. I know she'll be with me forever in heaven...but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt right now. Someone said maybe she had something wrong, but hung on until her babies were weaned and she was sure they're in good hands. Go with Jesus, little angel - He'll take you to the rest of the animal family that's waiting for me there. I promise I'll take good care of your children.

I'm just seeing this....I'm so sorry, Arlene! I agree with purplepuppy, you'll be seeing her again before you know it! She's in a wonderful place right now, beautiful and strong and chasing butterflies.
