This wont fit in his five point Calvinism view and they try to put everything in the 2 opposing sides. Act 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Extremes on both sides are bad. doctrine of men. Calvinism and catholics will call believing a work even, but we are believing in Gods work, his will, the gospel. Jhn 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. That's why its a gift. Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And on the flipside free will goes bad when you think any work you did enters in to the equation. Here are some videos of simple explanations of both sides.
