My niece who lives in Florida is on TPN feeding and was on the waitlist for an intestinal transplant is not able to walk after an infection hit her spine. In addition, she had a stent put in yesterday because of a weakening major blood vessel. She could really use prayer. Thx.

Praying...
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love for us and for Your protection and healing and comfort for those who are going through the pain and suffering of sickness... We pray for KonaKat's niece and ask You to please bless her and to feel Your love and care in comforting healing power now. We ask that You give her and her family strength to be at ease and free from worry and concerns during this time. We ask that You heal her from this infection that is in her spine and to strengthen the blood vessel that has weakened. We pray for the intestinal transplant that she needs will come through quickly and we pray that You grant her excellent doctors and medical staff that will attend to her. We ask You to bless the doctors and medical staff and to cause everything to go smoothly for her before, during and after surgery and during her recovery . We ask that You in Your Almighty power to heal her completely. May she and her family come to know You during this time. Thank you Father for hearing our prayers. In Jesus All mighty, All Powerful Name we pray this, Amen.

My Florida niece is back in the hospital and on life support. Time will tell what will develop with her. She has had a year of ups and downs, but she has never given up.

My Florida niece who has had numerous ups and downs since having her intestinal track removed requiring her to get her nutrition via a line is back in the hospital. The outlook isn't good.

It is beyond my control but my thoughts are with her and her SO as they face the recent developments. The SO is the ex-husband. They got back together but never remarried but had planned to do so. I have never seen anyone so devoted to someone during this very long process as he has been toward her. I know men around here who would do the token thing of dropping in the hospital room for a few minutes and disappearing and who would never think of staying with someone who required attention 24/7. She was in rehab learning how to adapt to living in a wheel chair as she developed paralysis in the lower limbs and was looking forward to returning home once she had completed the occupational therapy.

Hi - Haven't been keeping you up to date, but things were better for a while, now my Florida niece is back in the hospital from the rehab center. She was doing her best trying to walk again but apparently it may be a losing battle. She became ill and was admitted to the hospital where the staff told her SO and ex-husband that she was going into renal failure.

I got a telephone call from my Florida niece's significant other and ex husband. She has had her ups and downs but apparently he has been told to consider hospice. She supposedly only weighs 70 pounds now.
