God Calling
Anything written by Rob Bell
Anything recommended by Oprah(you would think people have more discernment, but i get a lot of people that come into my store asking for books recommended by Oprah, knowing full well that we are a christian bookstore, and when i ask if it is a christian book....they say, well oprah recommended it)
Also be very careful when looking through the charismatic section. There are quite a few good authors, but also quite a few very bad authors. Some of them have written some very good stuff, and very bad stuff. Or am i the only one that looks in that section? LOL.

Anything by Rick Warren.
Anything by the Catholic Church.
Of course there's a lot more but that's the best I can do on one cup of coffee this morning. ;D

The Shack
A Course in Miracles
I'm very suspicious of any and all books where people claim to travel to heaven or hell and back...that's totally unscriptural.

POH,
THE SHACK! LOL. Yeah, that book is pretty bad, and isn't even written by a CHRISTIAN.
As for people going to heaven and back, scripture does support that people "can" go to heaven and back. However, it is a pretty rare thing....if it even happens at all in this time. I don't think most of the accounts are genuine, or at least it is brought on by something other than God(which would of course mean it is a false account).
The problem i end up finding with most books that deal with miracles and such...is that they present these specific gifts of the spirit as something that everyone can do. When the bible explicitly expresses that gifts are given as the spirit wills(the holy spirit, not our own). And teaching that anyone can have the gift of healing or any of the gifts, isn't scriptural.
