Strange encounter in a parking lot

This is a difficult week for me; it's a year since my precious Angel was killed, and there's not a day I don't miss him and cry for him. I do have three other dogs whom I love, but...none of them is my Angel. I can't wait to see him again, as well as all my other furbabies who have died.
Anyway, I can't go near my car - even to get something out of it - without the dogs all jumping in, as they love to ride. I went to Aldi to pick up a few things the other day, and when I got back to the car, saw Honeybun looking for me out of the back window. I called to her, "Mommy is back, sweetheart," and a woman who was loading a car next to mine said, "That dog in the front looks like she's going to drive off!" (That was Angelica....she likes to sit in front of the steering wheel.)
We got into a conversation, and she was upset because she said she lost two dogs that week - her's and her SIL's, whom she was taking care of - she thinks a neighbor shot and killed them. (That makes me so mad - hell is too good for people like that! ) I told her I would pray for her, and she suddenly out of nowhere said, "He's coming soon, you know!" It was funny how the conversation just shifted to the Lord's return, although that seems to be happening with increasing frequency. The woman (her name is Sheila) went on to say that her SIL works in a prison, and at least 75% of the inmates are always asking her if she knows anything about the end of the age! It seems almost everyone knows something is up....
We talked for a few minutes more, and she said to me, "All the animals are going to be there. Some people say they won't be, but God can do ANYTHING....well, He can't lie."
The encounter was interesting on two levels: It's always good to talk about Jesus coming back soon, especially when you least expect a conversation like that and with a stranger, no less, but I really think the Lord put her in my path to cheer me up a bit and let me know that I'll be seeing my Angel and other babies again. I'm not getting wacky and certainly don't buy into "God told me to tell you" nonsense (It was nothing like that), but I do know God uses His people to build up and encourage others; I certainly did feel better after talking to her.
