Real-time global disaster alert map
This is a global disaster alert map, based out of Budapest, Hungary. The symbols represent the type of disasters that are going on, or have recently occurred: volcanoes, earthquakes, weather, biological & chemical hazards (including nuclear), complex disasters, etc. It gives a great picture of exactly what's occurring all over the globe at any given time.
Mouse over the symbols, and it will tell you the time, date, and type of disaster. Click on the symbol, and it links to a page giving some information about the current disaster.
