Here’s How Many People Are Killed By Anxiety Drugs

Most people in the modern world would concede that they suffer from some amount of anxiety. The ranges of suffering vary greatly from those who feel it a little to those who are completely debilitated by it. Because of this, pharmaceutical companies have followed a longstanding policy to cash in on these people. And it hasn’t been difficult for them at all. Working closely with Doctors and Psychiatrists, as well as launching major ad campaigns in the forms of pamphlets and propaganda, they’ve done an outstanding job infiltrating the common man’s medicine cabinets with the likes of Xanax and valium. Medical professionals have always been quick to prescribe medications over changes in diet and exercise in cases of anxiety. So it isn’t really a surprise to know that millions of Americans are drugged up at some point throughout their daily experiences. Americans are also heavily reliant (addicted) to these medications due to a complete lack of coping skills when it comes to anxiety.
And now people are just flat out falling dead from them (this doesn’t account for people who eventually suffer long-term effects such as liver disease). This means people are literally overdosing from them. And that number has quadrupled over the course of the past two decades, according to a new study published in NBCNews.
But while the quantity of prescriptions filled tripled between 1996 and 2013, the number of overdoses quadrupled during the same period, the team reported in the American Journal of Public Health.
“We found that the death rate from overdoses involving benzodiazepines, also known as ‘benzos,’ has increased more than four-fold since 1996 — a public health problem that has gone under the radar,” said Dr. Marcus Bachhuber of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, who helped lead the study.

“Overdoses from benzodiazepines have increased at a much faster rate than prescriptions for the drugs, indicating that people have been taking them in a riskier way over time.”
Benzodiazepines, it should be stated, are also highly addicted. And pharma is also looking to cash in on that part of the process (here).
Pharma and Medical professionals have used decades worth of time to commit criminal and predatory atrocities on people, all without any repercussions whatsoever. Benzodiazepines remain a generally acceptable way to cope with anxiety. Meditation and yoga, changes in diet, are rarely prescribed by Doctors. They’ve completely removed the coping abilities of the people leaving them with “quick solutions” which for by all accounts are now deadly. There are a plethora of ways to deal and cope with anxiety, these drugs are the most toxic and dangerous way there is. But left unaccounted for and more decades will go by creating more addictions and more deaths. The scope of this terror is enormous. This is not hyperbole, instead, it is reality: the numbers simply do not lie. We can’t keep blaming the people for irresponsibly using the product, we need to blame the system for corruption and greed. There are zero checks and balances in play, these corporations act with free will, create disease and offer up deadly solutions that don’t help resolve the issues.
How many of our brothers and sisters need to die, or live with suffering, before we decide it is time to stand up and do something? The modern world is stressful and predatory business models are consistently going to expose it for profits. We need to educate people on alternative health and show them that other solutions exist.
