My Easter Miracle

Well, it's been on heck of a week!
On Easter night I went to bed, but couldn't fall asleep because a storm was raging outside. I picked up a copy of The Way that a friend sent me after I told him that was my first Bible, and someone I had lent it to never gave him back. I read the first two Psalms, but couldn't concentrate. I finally remembered that the Word says God never slumbers or sleeps, so I prayed and asked Him that since there was no point in both of us being up, if He would give me a good rest. I was out like a light in about a minute after that and didn't even have to get up in the middle of the night as I usually do.
The next day I got up, and when I looked out the door I saw that not only had a tree fallen on my house, but it missed by bedroom window by about a foot - the same window that my bed is directly underneath! I came back inside and felt a nudge to continue reading the Psalms from where I had left off, in that same Bible, and cried when I saw this:
I lay down and slept in peace and woke up safely, for the Lord was watching over me. - Psalm 3:5 TLB
So, I still have a big tree on my house; my back yard fence needs to be repaired, and water from the heavy rains seeped in under my siding so my office wall that borders the outside is ruined: the paint on the upper part is wet and blistering, and the wallpaper on the lower part is wet and peeling. I do have insurance, but the adjuster said they're not allowed to come indoors to inspect the damage; he did look at the ouside stuff. The tree guys were here, but they wanted payment up front, and I don't know what's going on with the insurance company - there was so much devastation in the city that they've hired outside building inspectors to ascertain the damage, people aren't in the office, and I don't know when I'll get a check. But...God is in control.
I've also been without hot water for almost two months. The water heater was ruined when my basement flooded, it can't repaired, and I don't have money to replace it, especially since I have a $1,000 deductible on my insurance for the tornado repairs. (I've been showering at a neighbor's house, and heating water on the stove to wash up with.) If you can help at all, I'd appreciate it; my Paypal address is theharpazoforum @ gmail - with friends & family they don't deduct a fee.
Thanks and God bless.
