If you've been with us from the beginning, you may remember Dust in the Wind, whose real name is George Hale. He hasn't posted in quite a while as he was busy with several Christian FB groups he runs, but we've remained in contact. I just found out he went home to the Lord on July 3; I don't know the cause of his death, but last time we spoke (a couple of months ago), he was fine. Please keep his wife, Lainie, and his children in prayer.
Brothers and Sisters,
On Friday, July 3, 2020, our beloved pastor, husband and father, George Michael Hale, went home to be with our heavenly Father. He spent the day celebrating his 44th anniversary with the love of his life, Lainie, so his last day was filled with love and the simple pleasures that summer brings. We are comforted in knowing that George believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and that we will see him again one day. As you all well know, he was dedicated to doing the Lord’s work, preaching, and spreading the truth, and creating/leading these forums where people feel free to support one another and grow in Christ. He is survived by his wife, Lainie, and their four children, Jesse, Jeni, Becky, and Cindy. He was a loving brother to Johnnie Turner, Patricia Taylor, Glen Hale and Darryl Wrenn. He was both Grandpa and Poppa to 6 grandchildren, ranging in age from 22 to 11. They will miss his hugs, his corny jokes, and his “bootiful beard.”
We appreciate your prayers as our family comes together to celebrate the homegoing of a husband, father, and Brother in Christ.
In true George fashion, we are going to leave you with scripture and a song. We found this verse written on the last page of George’s notes 🤠💙🙏
“And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
