Low flying triangle UFO coverage continues over Nebraska

Two Nebraska witnesses at O'Neill reported a large, slow moving, triangle-shaped object with lights "only a few hundred feet in the air" about 7:05 p.m. on November 30, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. Nebraska joins several other states including Missouri, Michigan, Washington, Texas and Pennsylvania reporting similar low flying, triangle-shaped objects during the month of November.

A parent and son were driving to their cabin when the object was first seen.

"I noticed an object only a few hundred feet in the air," the reporting witness stated. "It was moving slowly with several lights, almost resembling a combine in the air. It had one pulsating orange-ish light and several small, white lights around the border that easily resembled stars, however, it definitely formed the outline of the object."

The sighting was broken into two parts.

"The first time we saw it for only 30 seconds before all of a sudden it was gone. The second time was a few miles further down the road when my son noticed it again. This time we watched it slowly move northeast. We were driving 70 mph and it was pulling away from us."

The witness wonders what the object could have been.

"At first I thought it could be a large aircraft like a B-2 bomber, however, I've never seen a plane that could move that slow. It definitely blended into the sky well but the lights easily made it stand out in the dark sky. I'm still very unsure what it is we saw but know for a fact it's nothing like anything I've seen before."

No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed December 1, 2012. The above quotes were edited for clarity. O'Neill is a city in Holt County, NE, population 3,705.

Nebraska is one of multiple states where cases of low flying, triangle-shaped objects, are being reported. The triangle shape, in particular, has experienced a high number of reports, including:
