It's getting more obvious every day that we're in the last of the last days. I've been trying to reach some people whom I love with the Gospel message, but there are a couple of really hard core cases whom I honestly don't see getting saved - I'm sure all of you are in the same position.
Anyway, I find myself being especially nice to some of them; sometimes I think that I might as well give them some good memories to hang onto throughout eternity. (The story of the rich man and Lazarus proves we'll still have our memories.) Are any of you doing anything similar? Do you think it's silly?

I agree, we keep trying and praying. I like the way pastor mike puts it, get in the Arc. Hurry! Our blessed hope is coming soon! Tts 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Here are the remaining matches. Jer 17:7 Blessed [is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 1Pe 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

I've learn with folks like these sometimes the best and only thing we can do (after we've done all we could and then some) is to hand them over to God and then get the heck out of the way. Let go and let God take care of the rest. And like Popcorn said, pray for them. Never stop praying for them. And never ever give up. I am having to learn this very same lesson with my son and his 'friend'.

Oh, I'm praying for them.....but like with my cousin, for example - the ultra-liberal, secular humanist.....I find myself wanting to do little things to make her smile, so maybe she'll have some small comfort in eternity if she's not saved, knowing she was once loved, and have some happy memories to look back on.
