NOTES:
How to serve Catch a Husband Cake?
This cake is marvelous on its own, but if you want to dress it up a bit, you have a few options. You can add a dollop of whipped cream to each slice. Alternately, adding a few berries, like strawberries or blueberries, gives this cake a touch of color.
Tips:
Be sure that you grease your Bundt pan very well and lightly flour it so that the cake will slide out without sticking.
If you do not have a blender, you can use an electric mixer to blend the cake batter.
Pay attention when you are shopping for this cake. You need BOTH evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk. They are not the same thing.
Variations:
If you don’t care for coconut, you can leave it out and make a plain vanilla version of this cake.
Add a cup of miniature chocolate chips to the cake batter before baking to make a chocolate version of this cake.
