Chocolate Explosion Cake
1 box choc cake mix 1/2 cup premium chocolate milk 1/3 cup melted butter 3 eggs 16oz sour cream 1 small pkg choc instant pudding mix 1 bag semi sweet choc chips
preheat oven to 350 degrees
Gently mix butter, eggs, chocolate milk, and sour cream until eggs are incorporated. Add dry cake and pudding mix. Mix until well blended. Batter will be very thick. Fold in chips. Spoon into pans.
Bake 55-65 minutes or until the top springs back ( toothpick will not be totally clean with this cake ) cool.
Buttercream frosting:
1/2 cup Crisco 1/2 cup butter 1 tsp vanilla 4 cups confectioners sugar 2 tbsp milk
To make the frosting chocolate: add 1/2 cup cocoa add and additional 1-2 tbsp milk. mix until well blended and fluffy.
THe longer you beat the frosting, the fluffier it will get.
