While Americans have been busy listening in on the debt crisis... there has been an Act introduced to Congress called the "HALT Act". This Act will do exactly what it states... HALT "the Obama administration from abusing its authority to grant a mass administrative amnesty to illegal immigrants." Basically, this act will remove/take away power that is normally given to the POTUS and his administration.
I'm glad to see that Congress is finally starting to wake up and see that we have a Marxist in the White House.
This video is lengthy... BUT this is the video that each patriot here on PAN has been waiting to hear in regards to Congress taking action against Obama.
Not surprisingly, the media has been silent about this VERY IMPORTANT issue that happened this past week.
According to a dissection of the bill by the Immigration Policy Center, the HALT Act would:
Not allow the Department of Homeland Security to waive the 3-year and 10-year bars to readmission for immigrants who have been unlawfully present in the country
Not allow DHS to grant a temporary humanitarian parole, which allows an immigrant to temporarily enter the U.S. “for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit”
Not allow immigration judges to grant cancellation of removal (deportation) to people who qualify
Not allow DHS to designate countries for “Temporary Protected Status,” or TPS, typically granted when there is a disaster or other dire situation in a particular country, such as last year’s earthquake in Haiti
Not allow DHS to grant deferred action, a formal decision not to pursue enforcement against a person for a specific period of time, except to go to court for law enforcement purposes or if an immigrant’s life is in imminent danger
Not allow DHS to grant employment authorization to immigrants affected by the above forms of relief
