A man, who was low on money, decided to apply for a job.
Instead of waiting to be hired, work and get paid, the man robbed the place.
Florida Police said that Anthony Thomas, 33, filled out a job application at a gas station in Ocala, Florida, immediately before robbing the place. He made off with $130.
Apparently, he included his real name, contact information and other personal information, in the application, which made it easy for police to track him down by using the information he provided before the robbery.
Thomas filled out the job application at 10:00 am Tuesday, and soon after, allegedly reached into the drawer and took out money. Thomas was arrested on charges of burglary, petty theft and resisting arrest with violence, after he allegedly stole money from a drawer in a Citgo gas station.
The incident was caught on surveillance video, which showed Thomas waiting around for the perfect opportunity to steal the money when the store clerk was not looking. Thomas is actually a frequent visitor to the gas station, where he often buys his cigarettes.
When officers confronted him, Thomas denied stealing money from the gas station. However, police have already seen the surveillance camera and they reportedly found most of the $130 in cash on him.
