1/3 cup butter 1/3 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 2 cups milk 2 cups cooked chicken, cut up 1 can whole kernel corn (11 oz.), drained 1/3 cup bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350°.
Melt butter and stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Cook until bubbly, remove from heat, and slowly stir in milk. Bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. Stir in chicken and corn.
Pour into a greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs and a few additional dots of butter. Bake for 30 minutes.
