Remember when you carried around a Discman loaded with your favorite CDs? Ah, yes, those were the days.



However, for better or for worse, now CDs are an obsolete medium. With digital downloads and streaming services, the way we listen to music and other recordings has greatly shifted, mostly at the expense of the CD. After we rip our CDs onto our computers, we're left with things we're not sure what to do with. Throwing them out seems like a waste, but keeping them around means they're just glorified paperweights.
