Spaghetti Pie Jul 8, 2015 23:07:07 GMT -5 Quote Select PostDeselect PostLink to PostMemberGive GiftBack to Top Post by Shoshanna on Jul 8, 2015 23:07:07 GMT -5 Spaghetti PieMost spaghetti pie recipes use the pasta as crust, this one uses beef2/3 cup evaporated milk1/2 cup fine bread crumbs1/3 cup finely chopped onions (optional)1 tsp salt1-2 tsp Italian seasoning1/4 tsp pepper1 lb ground beef4 oz dried spaghetti1 tbsp butter1 egg slightly beaten1/4 grated parmesan cheese1 cup (or more) pasta sauce1 cup shredded mozzarella cheeseCombine evaporated milk, bread crumbs, onion, salt, Italian seasoning and pepper. Add ground beef, mix well.Pat into the bottom of a lightly greased 9 or 10" pie plate.Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes or until cooked to 160FCarefully tilt to drain off fat and dab top with clean paper towels.Cook spaghetti in boiling water, drain and return to saucepan.Stir in egg and cheese until coated.Spoon half the pasta sauce over the crust, spread evenly and then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella.Pour spaghetti over the crust and spread evenly to edges.Top with more pasta sauce and cheese.Bake for for 15-20 minutes more and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing into wedges.
