You know, I can sort of see his point... Then again, he really should just be arrested for treason and other high crimes & misdemeanors...
Trump wouldn't back impeachment hearings for Obama

Donald Trump wouldn’t back impeachment hearings for President Barack Obama, saying such a move would only make Obama a “martyr.”
Trump, who appeared in a lengthy interview with conspiracy theorist and radio host Alex Jones on Wednesday, largely demurred when Jones asked if it was time to try to toss Obama out of office.
“The best thing that we have going with Obama is that he’s got a year left,” Trump said, adding that wasn’t enough time to go through impeachment hearings.
"So don’t make him a martyr?” Jones asked.
“In a way you’ll make him a martyr," Trump said, but then pivoted away. "But I don't even say that," he continued. "I'm the most disappointed in Republicans."
Trump: 'With the terrorists, you have to take out their families'
During the interview both Jones and Trump were very complimentary of each other and Roger Stone, Trump’s former top adviser who is still a vocal supporter of the billionaire.
Jones told Trump that 90 percent of his listeners were Trump supporters and the two took a moment to thank Stone for setting up the interview.
“Roger is a good guy and he is a patriot,” Trump said.
When he signed off at the end of the show, Trump promised to be successful for Jones: “Your reputation is amazing. I will not let you down,”
