Officials: ISIS may be plotting attack in Chicago

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - U.S. officials have provided information to authorities in Switzerland that indicate the extremist plotting an attack against Geneva also discussed attacking Chicago, according to CNN.
However, officials for both the FBI and in the city say there is no credible information that indicates the attacks have advanced beyond just talking.
In Chicago on Friday, an FBI spokesperson had the following to say:
“We have heard the recent news reporting of threats to the Chicago area. While we are aware of no specific or credible threat to Chicago at this time, the FBI remains vigilant and will continue to work closely with our other law enforcement partners to keep our community safe."
