Maple-Cinnamon Waffle Cookies Jan 30, 2016 0:24:10 GMT -5 Quote Select PostDeselect PostLink to PostMemberGive GiftBack to Top Post by Shoshanna on Jan 30, 2016 0:24:10 GMT -5 Maple-Cinnamon Waffle CookiesThis recipe makes about 1.5 dozen cookies, if you want more double the recipe.1/2 cup butter softened1/2 cup sugar1/8 tsp salt (I say 1/4 tsp of salt in the video, but that is wrong)1 tsp cinnamon1 large egg1 cup all purpose flourGlaze:1/2 cup powdered sugar1/6 of a cup (more or less) of maple syrup.Add enough maple syrup to the powdered sugar to get a runny glaze.Cookie instructions:Cream together the butter and sugar. Add in the cinnamon and salt and blend, add in the egg and blend.Add in the flour in 2-3 additions until combined.Scoop out dough into tablespoon sized portions and roll into a ball.Place balls in pre-heated waffle maker.Cook for 2-3 minutes (depending on you waffle maker) until golden brown and firm.Allow to cool on a wire rack.Dip tops of cooled cookies into the glaze, let the excess drip off and allow cookies to sit until glaze dries.Store cookies at room temperature in a covered container.
