The Lord Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life and there are few who find it. Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves” (Mat 7:13-15). There will be few who find it or even look for it because they are happy and content where they are. Many will strive to enter but will be unable because they must exchange their religion for a relationship with Christ and they must be stripped of self righteousness (Luke 13:24).
Have you ever considered why so many are attracted to the broad way? It’s because it seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death (Prov. 14:12). There is no opposition because they are walking with the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4). It is easy because they are following others who are lost and blinded to the truth.
