1/2 pound Velveeta cheese cut into slices 1 cup butter 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) 2 lbs icing sugar (confectioners' sugar) 1/2 cup cocoa powder
Combine cocoa and sugar together in very large bowl. Whisking or sifting to remove lumps. Melt the cheese and butter together on the stove on medium low heat, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour melted mixture into the big bowl with the sugar mixture. Stir until combined. Place the fudge into a 9x9" or 8x10" baking dish (greased or covered with aluminum foil). Smooth out fudge and dab with paper towels if oily. Chill until set. Cut into squares.
