Hell freezes over: Glenn Beck says electing Hillary Clinton is the “moral, ethical choice”

If you’ve paid attention to partisan politics for the past twenty years, you’ve come to expect that conservative political pundit Glenn Beck might be the last person on earth to be okay with the words “President Hillary Clinton.” Virtually no one has worked harder to undermine Hillary’s political career in general, and her 2016 campaign in particular. But in yet another sign that hell may have indeed frozen over, Glenn Beck now says that electing Hillary Clinton as President is the right thing to do.
No, he’s not voting for her. No need to worry that the universe might actually explode. But in a lengthy diatribe posted to his Facebook page in the hours after Donald Trump’s sexual assault tape leaked, Glenn Beck said that the most patriotic thing conservatives can do at this point is to simply get out of this election’s way and let Hillary Clinton’s supporters vote her into the White House.
But this is not a moment of surrender or resignation on Beck’s part. In fact he’s actively encouraging conservatives to avoid voting for Donald Trump because “if the consequence of standing against Trump and for principles is indeed the election of Hillary Clinton, so be it. At least it is a moral, ethical choice.”
Glenn Beck goes on to explain all the reasons why he doesn’t like Hillary Clinton, and why he would encourage conservatives to block her at every turn once she becomes President. But in an even more surreal moment, Beck says that he did actually consider voting for Hillary just to stop Trump, before ultimately deciding to waste his vote on a fringe candidate so obscure that even he had to chuckle when he said the guy’s name out loud.
