If she really is born again, then praise Jesus. But i hope that it isn't the way it sounds....which is only a false sense of security. It sounds a lot like baptism means salvation to her. Where is the faith? I don't know if that's really the case, but the emphasis was on "ensuring her salvation".

I wondered the same thing. There's no such thing as only "fire insurance" - someone is either repentant of their sins, and genuinely sorry....or they're not.
I guess we'll find out when we get Home.

When I first heard about this I was very suspicious. I still am. Casey Anthony is a well known liar. Her trial was a joke. I think she's guilty as all get out. I also think this is a ruse of hers to get sympathy from the public which she (and her parents and her lawyers) has been known to do time after time after time.
But.
I do not know her heart. She could very well be guilty and had a change of heart and repented and she is truly saved now. I hope and pray this is the case. The Lord commanded us not to judge and this is a very good example of me judging somebody. I have repented from that and I am now praying for her.
