OCTOMOM'S LAMENT: 'I GET WAY TOO MUCH MALE ATTENTION'
The Octomom — who long swore she would never go on the dole — qualifies for the help because her total income is less than $8,000 per member of her household. TMZ reported she was given a state-issued credit card that is monitored to ensure it’s used only to purchase food.
Suleman recently posed topless in a British magazine but was only paid $8,000 — money that quickly vanished as she tried to pay the bills, she said. “I have to do what I have to do to take care of my family,” she told CNN, “and I’m not ashamed.”
“I've never sacrificed my morals and values,” said Suleman, 36.
To cut costs, she has pulled all of her children - except one who has autism - from their private schools, according to TMZ.
