There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance. That principle is condemnation before investigation. ~ Edmund Spenser

Pretty solid. Obviously i would agree with the premise that "sons of god" refers to angels in the old testament. Having extensively researched this myself, i don't find that difficult at all. On another forum that i go to, we're discussing this issue....and the people there seem to not want to believe what the bible says about it. They can't refute it using the bible...so they just try to accuse me of assuming things or being wrong. It's really sad that people would rather believe lies than the truth of the word of God.
Lies seem to be the preference for most in these last days. The reason being that people would rather believe what they were taught by someone else instead of studying to show themselves approved...

Wow seriously??? That's whack! Those people should be checking their own selves whether they be in the faith...
Proverbs 18:13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

Shanno,
We must think alike. I posted that scripture when they started berating the topic. To be fair, there's only a half a dozen people on that forum, and only 2 people have responded on the topic. One is trying to be kind but doesn't get it, and the other is just lying about me and everything i stand for. It really upset me too, because i find it very offensive that someone would question another person's salvation over a topic that isn't related.
