Rev. 9:20: "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk." (Much less a cookie!)
For those who have been reading Understand the Times’ warnings, the following will confirm to you that his warnings have been right on. As the Catholic Church is emphasizing more and more on the Eucharistic Adoration through the Eucharistic Christ, the evangelical/Protestant church is drawing closer and closer to it. The books, conferences, and teachings coming out of mainstream Christianity are the primary catalyst for this happening. See links below for further information.
Comment from Understand the Times: :
This video clip is a must watch by all those who are on the road to Rome and know it, or on the road to Rome and don’t know it. Do you want to bow down and worship a wafer instead of Jesus Christ our Savior?
The Roman Catholic Church led by the Jesuits has implemented a make believe policy that Jesus is present in the wafer that is consecrated by a priest during mass. This is supposed to be the only true Jesus. If you don’t worship this Jesus, you are NOT a Christian according to the policy endorsed by Rome.
Watch the clip and see if you still want to be led like a sheep to slaughter or if you will stand up and refuse to be manipulated like those in the past who were even willing to give their life for true biblical faith.
the message....."as the nun says.."get your life together".... THAT is NOT THE GOSPEL.. and this not gospel is everywhere...even with the protestants who have forgotten what was protested.
Heretics! What's sick is that they don't stop to think about what they are saying. Jesus in the cookie? So who makes the cookies? Are these cookie makers creating Jesus? If they break the cookie, are they breaking Jesus? If they vomit the cookie, are they vomiting Jesus? So is the big host wafer Big Jesus and the smaller one they give to the congregation Little Jesus? The absurdity of it is apalling.
The traditional communion wafers are made out of two ingredients, wheat flour and water. The traditional communion wafers served during Roman Catholic communion services are made out of two ingredients, wheat flour and water. In fact, during the earliest years of the Christian church, there was an entire ritual surrounding the process of creating communion wafers, beginning with the selection and cleansing of the wheat. Once the wheat had been properly washed and ground, only a baker sanctioned by the local church council could produce communion wafers in a ceremonially shielded iron-plated oven.
Eventually, certain orders of nuns assumed the responsibility of creating communion wafers, which often became a source of income for their convents. The standard ingredients still remained wheat flour and water, with no seasoning or leavening permitted.
Modern communion wafers may be embossed with religious symbols or perforated for easier dispensation. The priests who serve holy communion may have to consume larger communion wafers, also called hosts, than those placed on the tongues of congregants. There are also larger sheets of communion wafers designed to be broken along pre-scored lines. Religious supply stores often carry several different varieties of communion wafers to address the needs of different Christian denominations.

this seems based on the idea of miracle...spiritualism...causing or summing even...by ones adoration of.....by ones obedience to (false spiritualization)..forced spiritualization..of something...

Shann0 - I can tell you, as a former Catholic, that church "law" is if you vomit up the cookie you have to pick it out of the mess and eat it!
No Catholic has ever been able to give me an answer to what happens when "Jesus" - shall we say - comes out the other end! ;D
There's a fascinating book about all this kind of thing, written by an ex-Jesuit named Charles Chiniquy who was a contemporary of Abraham Lincoln and was born again; it's called 50 Years in the "Church" of Rome. Some of the stories will make you laugh out loud, at the same time you're wondering how anyone could believe that nonsense! There's one about "Jesus" being dropped in a chamber pot.... ;D

Yes, and putting it in a "monstrance" (a symbol of the sun) connects it to Sun Worship. Roman Catholicism seems to connect a lot of the "old religions" - in addition to sun worship, there's Dagon, the cult of the mother & child, "saints" that have replaced the old "gods," etc. Revelation is right - it's full of abominations and unclean things!
Monstrance is a peculiar name, it reminds me of monstrosity.
