With all the disasters happening in the world right now, some may think we are already in the Tribulation period's horrible seven years.
To that I say, yes, we are approaching the 70th Week (aka the Tribulation), but we are not there yet. How do we know we aren't there yet?
There are at least four reasons why the seven years of the 70th Week (aka the Tribulation) have not started yet:
1) There has not yet been a seven years covenant confirmed by the Antichrist. (Dan 9:27)
2) The Two Witnesses (who minister in the first half of the seven years) are not yet in the streets of Jerusalem testifying to Jesus Christ and doing miracles
3) The 144,000 are not out in the world evangelizing
4) The world has not yet seen the Pre-Trib Rapture.
I will add a fifth reason. In the first four Seals, 1/4th of all the people in the world will be slain, which at current population figures comes to almost 2,000,000,000 (two billion) in just the short span of time of 3-1/2 years.
This averages out at about 500 MILLION per year (ask yourself this: did 500 MILLION people--more than the entire population of the United States--die last year? Obviously not!).. FYI, that total death toll figure is more deaths than from all the wars Man has fought since the Garden of Eden until this day, combined.
Keep up your courage, brothers and sisters in Christ. The Day of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ coming for us in the Pre-Trib Rapture is more certain than the Sun rising tomorrow morning.
