Hunter Biden Enters Plea for 9 Felony Charges, Gets Trial Date
By Richard Moorhead January 12, 2024 at 2:02pm Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to nine federal tax charges in a Los Angeles court on Thursday. The troubled son of President Joe Biden appeared before Judge Mark Scarsi, a Donald Trump appointee, in a brief hearing, according to the New York Post. The younger Biden also learned that his trial on the tax evasion charges will begin on June 20. The indictment against Hunter Biden accuses him of flouting $1.4 million worth of federal tax obligations between 2016 and 2019 — all the while spending lavishly on drugs, prostitutes, pornography and luxury items. If convicted of all of the charges, Hunter Biden could face up to 17 years in prison. Scarsi imposed several restrictions on Hunter Biden as conditions of his pre-trial release, including “a prohibition on using drugs or alcohol, a ban on gun possession and a requirement that he seek employment,” the Post reported. The courthouse was surrounded by a crowd of reporters and interested spectators, some of whom brought attention to Hunter Biden’s infamous abandoned laptop and unsavory reputation. The tax charges aren’t the only legal matter that has the first son in jeopardy of a criminal conviction. He also faces felony gun charges in Delaware after witnessing a favorable plea deal in the case slip through his fingers courtesy of a skeptical judge. Hunter Biden has also agreed to appear before Congress for a deposition as part of the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. The father-son duo is accused of engaging in an influence-peddling scheme. Hunter Biden previously ignored a congressional subpoena requesting that he appear for a private deposition, instead delivering a speech outside the Capitol building in which he proclaimed his innocence. This week, Hunter Biden unexpectedly attended a House Oversight Committee hearing on whether to hold him in contempt of Congress for his failure to abide by the subpoena. He was accompanied by Kevin Morris, who is making a documentary on him. The committee voted in favor of the contempt resolution and sent it to the full House for review. link

Hunter Biden Gets Bad News as Congressional Contempt Vote Looms: 'His Defiance ... Has Been Willful and Flagrant'
By Allison Anton January 15, 2024 at 2:58pm It looks like Hunter Biden’s last-name-based luck is finally running out. The GOP House Judiciary recently released on social media platform X an excerpt of a letter from the House to Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, the whole of which was linked in the comments. Within, the House castigated the young Biden for skipping his scheduled private deposition on Dec. 7, 2023, informing Biden and his lawyer that the House is going to vote on whether or not he should be held in contempt of Congress for skipping the deposition, unless he chooses to obey a series of new subpoenas. Even worse, Biden used that time to make a public speech in front of the steps of Capitol Hill, whining that the “MAGA right” was using his “mistakes” as a weapon against his father. Because of that, the House is recommending Biden be held in contempt of court for this transgression, writing to his lawyer that his “defiance of the subpoenas has been willful and flagrant,” and “he must appear for a deposition that conforms to the House Rules and the rules and practices of the Committees, just like every other witness before the Committees.” Therefore, according to Politico, the House Republicans “will move forward with a vote to hold Hunter Biden in contempt, unless they reach a deal with his team for an interview,” with the vote scheduled for this Thursday. That said, in the interests of “obtaining Mr. Biden’s testimony as expeditiously as possible,” the House explained at the end of the letter that though “the Committee’s subpoenas are lawful and remain legally enforceable, as an accommodation to Mr. Biden and at your request, we are prepared to issue subpoenas compelling Mr. Biden’s appearance at a deposition on a new date in the coming weeks.” This whole mess is part of a larger investigation into the Biden family’s finances as a whole, which, in turn, is part of the overall Biden impeachment investigation. In addition to the president’s embarrassing son, the president’s brother James Biden and young Biden’s former business associate, Rob Walker, are being called to testify. The reason Hunter Biden is at the center of this right now is that, in November, he received a subpoena to testify in a closed-door session, but Biden and his legal team insisted on instead making everything public. A contemptuous letter from his lawyer made his intentions to that effect quite clear, with his lawyer, Abbe Lowell, accusing the House Republicans of “[using] closed-door sessions to manipulate, even distort the facts and misinform the public. We therefore propose opening the door.” Apparently, Biden thought he could circumvent his legal obligation by giving an impassioned speech on the Capitol steps on Dec. 13, the day he was supposed to appear before the House, but, as we have seen so far, that hasn’t been working out so well for him. The president’s son has perennially avoided the long arm of the law with astonishing dexterity, but now, with this motion passing all the way to a vote in the whole House, his luck might finally be running out. The mere mention of the Biden name used to be a “get out of jail free” card for the most unscrupulous members of that disreputable family. The president himself dodges sexual harassment accusations while his youngest son still walks free, despite a public and sordid history of abusing drugs and accusations of using his name to obtain a position he was not qualified for, all to further enrich the Biden family. This time, however, Dad isn’t able to use his influence to protect his wayward son. Biden can no longer avoid lawful and enforceable orders, no matter how expensive his lawyers might be. He has no excuse for dodging a subpoena, which could at least earn him a hefty fine, or at worst, end in jail time. And those are the penalties, no matter what your last name is. We can only hope the GOP won’t back down on this issue, and will nail down Biden to answer some tough questions. Regardless, Biden’s reputation is taking a hit that is not going to go away, no matter how much money or strong-arming from Daddy is thrown around. link

Hunter Biden Attempts to Get Out of Federal Gun Charges by Pointing Blame at Trump and His ‘MAGA Allies’
By Jack Davis, The Western Journal Jan. 31, 2024 4:20 pm Federal gun charges against Hunter Biden should be thrown out because the special counsel appointed by the Biden administration to bring those charges is doing the will of former President Donald Trump and his allies, according to a court filing from Hunter Biden’s attorneys. Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty to a charge of lying about his drug use in October 2018 when he completed a federal form to buy a gun, according to The Associated Press. The charge had been set to be resolved last summer as part of a plea deal that included the tax charges against Hunter Biden, but the plea deal collapsed. U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who had led the investigation that resulted in the plea deal, was then appointed a special counsel to investigate the case and filed new indictments against Hunter Biden in December. “The filings made by the prosecutors provide more evidence that these charges result from a politically motivated attack instigated by former President Trump and his MAGA allies,” Abbe Lowell, who is Hunter Biden’s attorney, said in a statement Tuesday, according to The Messenger. “This pressure caused the prosecutors to violate their own non-prosecution agreement, the DOJ’s own regulations for how they should have been appointed, and the Constitution to pursue them,” Lowell said. In one of several filings Tuesday, Hunter Biden’s attorneys said he “was unconstitutionally charged for partisan political reasons because his father is a sitting President seeking reelection and the prosecution succumbed to the Republicans trying to defeat that President.” “Mr. Biden is being targeted because he is the son of a sitting Democratic President and a political rival of former President Trump, who seeks to defeat President Biden in the upcoming presidential election,” the attorneys wrote. The filing said a deal to scuttle the charge that was rejected by a federal judge should be restored. “No matter how fervently the prosecution’s decision to enter into the Diversion Agreement is criticized by extremist Republican politicians and the right-wing press, the prosecution remains bound by the agreement it struck,” the filing said, according to the New York Post. “The Court must not allow the prosecution to renege on its agreement,” the filing asserted. The filing said the prosecution of Hunter Biden was “selective and vindictive.” “[W]e know exactly how Mr. Weiss would have resolved this case absent outside pressure to treat Mr. Biden more harshly because Mr. Weiss did try to resolve,” the charges through the plea deal, the filing said. “That is, until Mr. Weiss was under pressure and heavy criticism from Republican extremists arose. In response to that outcry from former President Trump, extremist House Republicans and right-wing media looking to make Mr. Biden’s fate a political issue in the next presidential election, the prosecution blew up that deal and now has brought felony charges against Mr. Biden both here in Delaware and in California and is seeking a heavy prison sentence for charges the prosecution was willing to resolve for probation just months ago,” the filing said Last year, in response to another motion, a document filed by Weiss’s office noted that Hunter Biden’s claims that he was charged because Trump was out to get him ignore the timing of the charges that were filed. “[N]ot only does defendant’s motion fail to identify any actual evidence of bias, vindictiveness, or discriminatory intent on the Special Counsel’s part, his arguments ignore an inconvenient truth: No charges were brought against defendant during the prior administration when the subpoena recipients actually held office in the Executive Branch,” the filing said. “Defendant has not shown, nor can he, how external statements by political opponents of President Biden improperly pressured him, his Attorney General, or the Special Counsel to pursue charges against the President’s son.” link

Unfortunately, he's still alive and an embarrassment to the country - not to mention a traitor! Report: Hunter Compares Himself to Famous Dead Children in History
WENDELL HUSEBØ 1 Feb 2024 Hunter Biden reportedly compared himself to famous dead children in history within a recent court filing. The filing is the latest defense used by Hunter in his gun case. Hunter’s lawyers contend he was “selectively charged” for political reasons. Known for his infamous addiction to crack cocaine, smoking parmesan cheese, and participating in illicit sexual activities, Hunter used Greek and Roman mythology to defend himself, constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley wrote Thursday, mocking the president’s son. U.S. House of Representatives “In his bizarre filing comparing himself to famous dead children in history, Hunter refers to Hector, the son of the King of Troy as ‘murdered’ by Odysseus,” Turley posted on X. “It was actually Achilles and it was a fair fight. Will the National Hellenic Society move to strike?” He further explained in a New York Post op-ed: Hunter profited massively from the Biden name, but now, his lawyer Abbe Lowell argues, he’s suffering from the “burden” of parentage. To back up this argument, Lowell cites Plyler v. Doe, a case involving the providing of free education to the children of illegal immigrants, to say that the Constitution, “prevents the government from inflicting harm on children for the conduct of their parents. “That’s right, Joe Biden is like an undocumented migrant father who carried his kid over the border for a better life. Hunter also cites cases involving children born out of wedlock in need of court protection. The argument is particularly ironic since Hunter Biden fought to prevent his daughter Navy Joan from using his last name. It then gets even weirder. Hunter tells the court that it is precisely “great privilege” that makes children like him “the target of animus for that very reason . . . History is replete with children of political figures being abducted and assassinated literally (e.g., murder of Romanov children by Russian revolutionaries) or figuratively (e.g., Odysseus murdering the son of Crown Prince Hector when sacking Troy).” The court filing comes after prosecutors revealed in January that authorities found cocaine residue on Hunter Biden’s gun pouch in 2018, hindering his legal defense against three gun charges. Hunter faces three criminal charges related to his possession of a firearm. The indictment did not include any Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) or tax violations. Hunter refused in July to accept a plea deal laid out by prosecutors after negotiations fell apart due to questioning by Judge Maryellen Noreika about the “diversion agreement.” The agreement afforded Hunter the ability to plead guilty for not paying taxes on more than $1.5 million in income in 2017 and 2018, receiving probation rather than jail time. In addition, Weiss devised a separate diversion agreement that gave Hunter immunity from potential future charges, including a provision to essentially wipe a felony gun violation from his record. link

Hunter Biden Trial on Gun Charges Set for June 3
BREITBART NEWS 13 Mar 2024 A US federal judge on Wednesday set June 3 as the tentative date for the start of the trial of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter on charges of illegal gun possession. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, in a court filing, set aside the weeks of June 3 and June 10 for a jury trial in Wilmington, Delaware, for the 54-year-old Hunter Biden. In October Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty to the gun charges. He also faces tax evasion charges in California. The judge in that case has said he is aiming for a trial to begin on June 20. Hunter Biden faces three felony charges stemming from his purchase of a .38-caliber Colt Cobra revolver in 2018 when, by his own admission, he was heavily addicted to drugs. He is charged with two counts of making false statements for claiming on forms required for the gun purchase that he was not using drugs illegally at the time. He faces a third charge, based on the same statements, that he illegally possessed the gun — which he had for only 11 days in October 2018. If convicted, Hunter Biden could in theory face 25 years in prison, though in practice such offenses, if not accompanied by other charges, are seldom punished by jail time. His legal troubles and controversies — which include accusations from Republican politicians that he engaged in corrupt business practices in China and Ukraine — are a constant drag on his father’s political standing as he seeks a second term in the White House. Republicans have opened an impeachment inquiry in Congress into what they claim is a Biden family criminal conspiracy but have provided no evidence that the president did anything wrong. Hunter Biden has not been charged with any crimes related to his foreign business dealings, despite the Republican allegations. Hunter Biden is a Yale-trained lawyer and lobbyist-turned-artist, but his life has been marred by alcoholism and crack cocaine addiction. link

Hunter Biden Defeated in Attempt to Throw Out Tax Case
SIMON KENT 2 Apr 2024 Hunter Biden’s attempt to have all his tax charges thrown out was defeated Monday, letting the criminal case against him move forward. A federal judge in California decided against the younger Biden, The Hill reports. The decision confirms Biden faces three felony charges and six misdemeanor charges in connection to tax evasion, filing a false return and failing to pay taxes between 2016 and 2019. Biden has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His attorneys argued last month the case was politically motivated and tainted by two IRS agents who later became whistleblowers, as Breitbart News reported. The president’s son filed eight separate motions to dismiss the charges, citing different legal rationale for each including immunity claimed from a previous plea deal he had negotiated, all of which were denied. U.S. District Judge Mark Scarsi determined the case was not political, sidelining Biden’s main argument by noting Biden’s attorneys did not provide evidence for the claim. “The motion is remarkable in that it fails to include a single declaration, exhibit, or request for judicial notice,” he wrote. “Instead, Defendant cites portions of various Internet news sources, social media posts, and legal blogs. These citations, however, are not evidence.” Scarsi added the sources, mostly media reports about the case, “contain multiple levels of hearsay.” The Hill report sets out the judge similarly threw out Biden’s claim of selective and vindictive prosecution. “Defendant fails to present a reasonable inference, let alone clear evidence, of discriminatory effect and discriminatory purpose,” Scarsi wrote. “Accordingly, the selective prosecution claim fails.” Hunter Biden could face a maximum of 17 years in prison if convicted. In total, the president’s son faces 42 years in federal prison for the nine tax and three gun charges. He was indicted for gun violations in Delaware which he pleaded not guilty to while he remains a key witness in the House impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. link

Biden Visits Daughter-in-Law’s Home ahead of Testimony in Ex-Lover Hunter’s TrialFrank Bergman May 27, 2024 - 4:26 pm
Hallie Biden received a brief visit at her home from her Democrat president father-in-law on Sunday night. The widow of Joe Biden’s son Beau, Hallie is also the former lover of the Democrat president’s survising son Hunter. Hunter and Hallie Biden were involved in a romantic relationship after Beau died of brain cancer in 2015. May 30 is the ninth anniversary of Beau Biden’s death. The president’s brief visit to Hallie’s home also comes shortly before she is expected to testify as a witness in Hunter Biden’s gun crime trial next month. Hunter Biden is charged with making false statements on a federal form when purchasing a firearm in 2018. According to the police report, Hallie, who was in a relationship with Hunter at the time, threw a gun owned by Hunter Biden in a dumpster. The dumpster was located behind a market near a school. She will likely be required to testify in the upcoming trial. A reporter for NBC News faced a backlash from the Left for pointing out Hallie Biden’s connection to the trial on social media. Biden allies insist there was nothing inappropriate about the visit. The court in Hunter Biden’s case met for its final hearing before jury selection begins on June 3. Prosecutors had planned to use portions of his book and laptop, including photos, to prove to the jury that Hunter Biden is guilty of making false statements on a federal form. When he purchased a revolver in 2018, Hunter Biden was actively using narcotics. Nevertheless, Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Judge Maryellen Noreika said Special Counsel David Weiss must show Hunter Biden was addicted to drugs, but not necessarily using drugs the day he purchased the gun. In court documents, Hunter Biden’s defense attorneys asked the court to block certain salacious details of his life from being shown to the jury. They claim the evidence must be blocked to avoid “significant risk of unfair prejudice.” In what is called a “motion in limine,” Hunter Biden asked the court “to exclude reference to the child support proceedings in Arkansas and reference to his discharge from the Navy.” This is in reference to the child he fathered out-of-wedlock with ex-stripper Lunden Roberts. Roberts’ daughter is President Biden’s grandchild. Some of the evidence prosecutors wish to bring forward may be relevant to the case, including purported drug purchases, ATM withdrawals, and the purchase of the revolver. Acknowledging the relevance of such evidence, Hunter Biden’s lawyers said other details like references to money allegedly spent on “adult entertainment, online chat rooms, or escort services are not relevant to the charges.”

House Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith to Criminally Refer Hunter Biden For Lying to CongressBy Cristina Laila Jun. 3, 2024 7:20 pm The very powerful House Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) will criminally refer Hunter Biden for lying to Congress. Last month Chairman Smith accused Hunter Biden of lying under oath during his closed-door deposition before Congress in February. New documents provided by a whistleblower contradict Hunter Biden’s testimony to Congress. Hunter Biden repeatedly lied to Congress about his family’s international influence-peddling scheme. according to Chairman Smith. “Hunter Biden has shown once again he believes there are two systems of justice in this country – one for his family, and one for everyone else. Not only did Hunter Biden refuse to comply with his initial subpoena until threatened with criminal contempt, but he then came before Congress and lied,” House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith told Fox News. “The Ways and Means Committee’s investigation, and the documents released today, are not part of a personal vendetta against Hunter Biden, but are meant to ensure the equal application of the law.” Chairman Smith said Hunter Biden lied about his shakedown message to his Chinese business associate Zhao. Hunter claimed he messaged the wrong Zhao because he was “high or drunk,” however records show the two had been messaging each other for months. “First, Hunter Biden lied about the recipient of a WhatsApp message sent with the apparent intention to threaten a business associate and demand payment. In the message, Hunter Biden twice mentioned he was with his father. In the deposition, Hunter Biden sought to dismiss the message, claiming that he was either quote ‘high or drunk’ when he sent it, and in that state, had sent it to the wrong Zhao, and not actually the one affiliated with the Chinese energy company, CEFC. Hunter claimed under oath that the recipient, quote ‘had no understanding or even remotely knew what,…I was even‚…talking about’,” Chairman Smith said in his opening statement, according to Just The News. In a statement to The Gateway Pundit last month Chairman Jason Smith said Hunter Biden lying in his sworn testimony to Congress is a “felony offense.” “Hunter Biden has shown once again he believes there are two systems of justice in this country – one for his family, and one for everyone else. Not only did Hunter Biden refuse to comply with his initial subpoena until threatened with criminal contempt, but he then came before Congress and lied. The Ways and Means Committee’s investigation, and the documents released today, are not part of a personal vendetta against Hunter Biden, but are meant to ensure the equal application of the law,” House Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith said in a statement to The Gateway Pundit. “Lying during sworn testimony is a felony offense that the Department of Justice has prosecuted numerous individuals for in recent years, and the American people expect the same accountability for the son of the President of the United States. Hunter Biden’s lies under oath, and obstruction of a congressional investigation into his family’s potential corruption, calls into question other pieces of his testimony. The newly released evidence affirms, once again, the only witnesses who can be trusted to tell the truth in this investigation are the IRS whistleblowers,” Chairman Smith added.

Jury Selected on Hunter’s Federal Trial Jury — Potential Juror Dismissed for Believing Trump is a Victim of Political Persecution and Unequal TreatmentBy Jim Hᴏft Jun. 3, 2024 6:00 pm
A jury was seated on Monday in the landmark trial of Hunter Biden on federal weapons charges. The Gateway Pundit reported earlier that Hunter Biden arrived at J. Caleb Boggs federal courthouse in Wilmington, Delaware, for the first day of jury selection in his federal firearms case on Monday morning. Dr. Jill, clad in a purple suit, joined Hunter Biden at the courthouse Monday morning while Joe Biden was across town in Wilmington. This was just days after Joe Biden secretly met with the DOJ’s star witness, Hallie Biden. “Jill and I love our son and we are so proud of the man he is today,” Joe Biden said in a statement. “Hunter’s resilience in the face of adversity and the strength he has brought to his recovery are inspiring to us,” Joe Biden added. “A lot of families have loved ones who have overcome addiction and know what we mean.” This selection process took place in Delaware, a state long dominated by the Biden political machine. The trial, presided over by US District Judge Maryellen Noreika, a Trump appointee, commenced the jury selection process. From an initial pool of 250 Delaware residents summoned for jury selection, over 60 were questioned individually by Hunter’s lawyers, prosecutors, and Judge Noreika, according to the New York Post. By late afternoon, a jury comprising six men and six women had been chosen to oversee the case to decide the fate of Hunter Biden, who faces serious allegations related to possessing firearms while allegedly addicted to crack cocaine. Among the 12 panelists and four alternates, nine are African-American, and all four alternates are women. “The jurors were sworn in at 4:20 p.m. The final list of jurors: Jurors 3, 5, 16, 19, 20, 26, 31, 33, 34, 37, 38, 39. Alternates are: 50, 52, 53, 65. There are six men and six women on the jury. All four alternates are women. Potential jurors not selected are dismissed for the day,” according to NBC News. One prospective juror was dismissed after affirming that gun ownership is a “God-given right,” while another was excluded for believing the Justice Department is overly politicized. A woman who expressed her belief that people shouldn’t be allowed to buy guns and “kill children in schools” was also dismissed. She added that she would ban guns altogether if given the opportunity. Juror 25, a man who had declared that Trump had been targeted for political prosecution, made it into the initial pool of 36 after revealing that he was acquainted with First Lady Jill Biden and had met President Joe Biden at several events. He also disclosed that he had recently donated to the Republican National Committee and had previously served as a campaign manager for a city councilman. However, this juror was later dismissed. WATCH:
Hunter Biden, 54, has pleaded not guilty to three felony counts pertaining to his alleged illegal possession of a firearm while addicted to crack cocaine. The Delaware case is the first of two scheduled to take place this year. Hunter Biden also faces tax charges out of Los Angeles, accused of evading $1.4 million in taxes between 2016 and 2019. US District Judge Mark Scarsi, a Trump appointee, tentatively set the trial for Hunter’s tax-related charges for June 20. The Delaware case is expected to last one to two weeks. Noreika, a Trump appointee backed by the state’s Democratic senators, has been deeply involved in the Hunter Biden case for nearly a year. According to NBC News, FBI Special Agent Erica Jensen will be the first witness called by the prosecution. Below are the charges via The New York Post: COUNT 1: False Statement in Purchase of a Firearm Faces a maximum of 10 years’ imprisonment, a fine of $250,000, three years of supervised release, a special assessment of $100. COUNT 2: False Statement Related to Information Required to be Kept by Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer Faces a maximum of five years’ imprisonment, a fine of $250,000, three years of supervised release, a special assessment of $100. COURT 3: Possession of a Firearm by a Person who is an Unlawful User of or Addicted to a Controlled Substance Faces a maximum of 10 years’ imprisonment, a fine of $250,000, three years of supervised release, a special assessment of $100. link

Joe Biden: ‘So Proud’ of Hunter Biden, ‘the Man He Is Today’Wendell Husebø 3 Jun 2024 2:34 Joe Biden said Monday he is “so proud” of Hunter Biden, “the man he is today,” as he goes on trial for gun violations. Joe Biden previously said Hunter was the smartest man he knows amid reports of the Biden family raking in millions of dollars during and after Joe Biden’s vice presidency. Special Counsel David Weiss charged Hunter in 2023 with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer. Hunter used crack when he purchased the firearm, according to a wide variety of photos from the time on his abandoned laptop, and the gun was found discarded in a public trash can next to a school. The Secret Service allegedly intervened in the investigation of that incident.
“I am the President, but I am also a Dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today,” Joe Biden said in a statement. “Hunter’s resilience in the face of adversity and the strength he has brought to his recovery are inspiring to us. A lot of families have loved ones who have overcome addiction and know what we mean.” Weiss later indicted Hunter with tax violations in California. Hunter’s gun trial is expected to last around two weeks. Jury selection began Monday with Dr. Jill Biden and Hunter’s wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, in attendance.
In 2023, Hunter refused to accept a plea deal from prosecutors after negotiations fell apart under judicial scrutiny of a “diversion agreement.” The original “sweetheart” plea deal gave Hunter the option to plead guilty to not paying taxes on more than $1.5 million in income in 2017 and 2018, receiving probation rather than jail time. In addition, Weiss devised a separate diversion agreement that gave Hunter immunity from potential future charges, including a provision to potentially wipe a felony gun violation from his record. The case is United States v. Hunter Biden, No. 24-1703 in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Jill Biden Attends First Day of Hunter Biden’s Gun TrialWendell Husebø 3 Jun 2024 2:22 First Lady Jill Biden attended the first day of Hunter Biden’s gun trial in Delaware on Monday, likely to offer support to her embattled stepson. Her attendance comes after Hunter lashed out at his stepmother in a 2018 text message to his then-romantic partner, his late brother’s widow Hallie Biden, calling Jill Biden a “selfish silly entitled c**t.” “Go f**k yourself,” Hunter said in mockery of Dr. Jill Biden’s acclaimed teaching prowess. “I suooorted [supported] my GM family including some of the costs you should have used your salary to lay [pay] for – for the last 24 years,” Hunter said in the rant.
Jill Biden later displayed Hunter’s artwork in her White House office. Hunter’s gun trial is expected to last around two weeks. Jury selection began Monday. Prosecutors might call Hallie Biden to the stand. Special Counsel David Weiss charged Hunter last year with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer. Hunter Biden Confronted by His 'Sugar Brother's' Daughter, Who Demands 'Stop Taking Advantage of My Father': Report By Jack Davis June 4, 2024 at 10:43am As the Hollywood lawyer known as Hunter Biden’s “sugar brother” stands by President Joe Biden’s son, members of Kevin Morris’ family want him to walk away, according to the New York Post. The outlet reported Tuesday that Morris was among those who showed up in Wilmington, Delaware, on Monday at the start of Hunter Biden’s trial on charges that he lied on a federal form to buy a gun by saying he was not using illegal drugs. In his memoir, “Beautiful Things,” the president’s son indicated he was using drugs at the time. Morris has been bankrolling Biden since meeting him in 2019, according to the Post. The report said the lawyer’s 23-year-old daughter recently confronted Hunter Biden face to face for taking millions of dollars from Morris. Dulcie Lou Morris told him to “stop taking advantage of my father,” the Post said, citing what it said was a source close to the family it did not name. The source told the Post she and other family members objected to the extent of money spent on Hunter Biden’s legal defense. “His entire family has abandoned him because they were livid when they found out he was bankrolling everything,” the source said.
According to Politico, “a person close to Morris who was granted anonymity to discuss private conversations” said the 60-year-old started out with good intentions and has not been able to walk away. “The reason Kevin got involved financially in the first place was that he could see that no one was going to help Hunter,” the source said. “Now, four and a half years later, there’s still no help — and now Kevin is completely tapped out. So just when Hunter is facing two criminal trials starting in a few weeks, he has no resources. It’s pretty dire.” Morris confirmed the account without elaboration, Politico said. A letter from his attorneys to the House Oversight Committee listed more than $6.5 million in what were termed loans to Hunter Biden. The money was given to Biden from 2021 through 2023, with no repayment due before Oct. 1, 2025. The Post said Morris also paid $17,500 a month rent on a house for Hunter Biden in Venice Beach, California, from January 2020 to Oct. 15, 2020. Morris also funneled $1 million to the president’s son by buying 13 of his paintings. He also has been linked to the impeachment inquiry into the president, according to CNN. House Oversight Chairman James Comer and House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan have accused the CIA of interfering with efforts by the Department of Justice and Internal Revenue Service to interview Morris as part of the investigation. The CIA has denied the allegation, but representatives of the two committees have said it was true.

Defense Paints Hunter Biden as Victim in Gun Trial Wendell Husebø 4 Jun 2024 3:33 Prosecutors must prove that Hunter Biden “knowingly” committed gun offenses, defense attorney Abbe Lowell argued Tuesday in opening statements. Lowell’s focus on the word “knowingly” appears to be a defense predicated upon turning Hunter into a victim of drug abuse. Hunter is an admitted drug abuser who said he smoked parmesan cheese. “They have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Hunter knowingly violated the law,” said Lowell, according to court reporters, noting that Hunter experienced “traumas” as the son of a sitting senator, vice president, and president. “He has abused alcohol since he was a teenager and drugs since he was an adult,” Lowell said, “like literally millions of people in this country.” Many jurors seated in the case said they have family members who experienced drug abuse. Hunter Biden is charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer. Hunter used crack when he purchased the firearm, according to a wide variety of photos from the time on his abandoned laptop, and the gun was found discarded in a public trash can next to a school. The Secret Service allegedly intervened in the investigation of that incident. Hunter, who allegedly had no credit card in 2018 at the time of the gun purchase, bought the firearm with cash, according to Lowell. Prosecutors said text messages and cash withdraws prove Hunter Biden used drugs at the time of the purchase. Lowell admitted to the jury that Hunter drove “his father’s black Cadillac” to the AT&T store on the day he purchased the revolver, CNN reported. Prosecutor Derek Hines delivered a blistering opening statement, telling the jurors that “no one is above the law” and that “it doesn’t matter who you are or what your name is.” Hunter “chose to illegally own a firearm,” and “we’re also here because he chose to lie,” he added. Hines told the court that Gordon Cleveland, who sold the gun to Hunter Biden at Starquest Shooters, will testify at the trial,” NBC News reported, along with several additional witnesses: Hines revealed that both Hallie Biden and Zoe Kestan, a woman who was romantically involved with Hunter Biden, will be testifying under immunity agreements. The prosecution will also call Kathleen Buhle, the ex-wife of Hunter Biden who shares three daughters with him and who did not use drugs herself. Kathleen will not be testifying under any immunity agreement. Laying out the three charges against Hunter, Hines emphasized that on the third count, concerning his possession of the gun for 11 days, Hunter did not get rid of the gun by choice. “The only reason he had the gun for 11 days is because Hallie took it from him,” he said. The judge barred TV, audio, and Slack messages at Hunter’s trial, so court reporters have to rely “on notes, runners or for reporters to come out of the courthouse in person,” CNN reported. The case is United States v. Hunter Biden, No. 24-1703 in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Nine Takeaways from First Days of Hunter Biden’s Gun TrialWendell Husebø 4 Jun 2024 2:30 Hunter Biden’s gun trial uncovered nine explosive pieces of information in the first two days of proceedings. The trial is expected to last about two weeks with many witnesses and will likely expose more damming information about the dysfunctional Biden family. The trial is set to resume at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. Two days of trial uncovered the following: The defense will try to convince the jury that Hunter did not “knowingly” commit wrongdoing, as prosecutors say, in order to frame Hunter as a victim of drug addiction. The defense’s strategy might be to obtain jury nullification. The DOJ will frame their prosecution as “no one is above the law” and that “it doesn’t matter who you are or what your name is.” The jury is split evenly between men and women, but all three alternates are women. Many jurors seated in the case said they have family members who experienced drug abuse. The FBI confirmed Hunter’s laptop is real. President Joe Biden reportedly intends to have a phone conversation with Hunter Biden every day during the trial. Biden family members and associates will likely be in court every day where the jury can see them. Hallie Biden, the ex of Hunter Biden and widow of his brother, will testify about her use of crack with Hunter. Honorable mention: Melissa Cohen-Biden, Hunter’s wife, verbally assaulted not-for-profit Marco Polo founder Garrett Ziegler amid proceedings. Hunter is charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer. Hunter used crack when he purchased the firearm, according to a wide variety of photos from the time on his abandoned laptop, and the gun was found discarded in a public trash can next to a school. Prosecutor: Hallie Biden to Testify About ‘Embarrassing’ Use of Crack with Hunter BidenWendell Husebø 4 Jun 2024 2:37 Hallie Biden, the ex of Hunter Biden and widow of his brother, will testify about her use of crack with Hunter, prosecutor Derek Hines said during Tuesday’s opening statements of the gun trial. Hallie, 50, dated Hunter in 2018 and found a Colt Cobra .38 handgun in Hunter Biden’s truck outside her home, prosecutors say. Hallie dumped the gun in a nearby grocery store trash bin, according to prosecutors. Hunter used crack when he purchased the firearm, a wide variety of photos from the time on his abandoned laptop show. The Secret Service allegedly intervened in the investigation of that incident. Hunter Biden is charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer. Hines said Hallie’s testimony would be “embarrassing” but necessary, according to court reporters. The prosecution will call several additional witnesses, including Gordon Cleveland, who sold the gun to Hunter Biden at Starquest Shooters, NBC News reported: Hines revealed that both Hallie Biden and Zoe Kestan, a woman who was romantically involved with Hunter Biden, will be testifying under immunity agreements. The prosecution will also call Kathleen Buhle, the ex-wife of Hunter Biden who shares three daughters with him and who did not use drugs herself. Hunter Biden’s Infamous Laptop Enters Court as Evidence for Gun Charges Trial — FBI Agent Confirms its Authenticity
By Jim Hᴏft Jun. 4, 2024 6:00 pm Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop, long dismissed by the liberal media as a product of Russian disinformation, has resurfaced as a key piece of evidence in a high-profile gun charges trial. The laptop, which contains a trove of incriminating emails and images, is now confirmed to be authentic by an FBI agent involved in the case. The trial centers around Hunter Biden’s acquisition of a $5,000 firearm in October 2018, during which he allegedly falsified federal forms by denying any drug addiction. The Gateway Pundit reported earlier that prosecutors told the court that Hunter Biden bought the firearm while he was smoking crack every 15 minutes. Earlier, Melissa Cohen Biden, Hunter’s wife, fiercely confronted Garrett Ziegler, a former aide to President Trump, during a court recess. An NBC reporter quoted her explosive rebuke as she blocked his entry into the courtroom, calling him a "Nazi piece of shit." This altercation stems from a previous lawsuit Hunter filed against Ziegler, who is accused of disseminating private emails from Biden’s laptop. Now, what many in the media and deep state once dismissed as "Russian disinformation" is at the forefront of American justice. Hunter Biden's infamous laptop has surfaced as a pivotal piece of evidence in his ongoing gun charges trial. The laptop in question, a MacBook Pro 13, became notorious when its contents were disclosed shortly before the 2020 presidential election. According to reports, Hunter Biden left it at a Delaware repair shop in 2019, forgetting to retrieve it. This laptop became one of the first exhibits presented by the prosecution. The FBI and intelligence community knew in November 2019 that Hunter Biden’s laptop was authentic and contained evidence of hundreds of international crimes that included his father, Joe Biden. Then, during the second presidential debate in 2020, Joe Biden and hack reporter Kristen Welker teamed up against President Donald Trump. At one point, Joe Biden interrupted Welker for his planned response to the Hunter Biden Laptop from Hell scandal. Joe Biden told the audience that 50 intelligence leaders signed a letter saying the laptop was “Russian propaganda.” The 51 spies who lied openly to the American public. FBI Special Agent Erika Jensen, who testified in court today, confirmed that the laptop belonged to Hunter Biden and that its contents were genuine. "When asked how she was able to confirm the laptop’s authenticity, Ms. Jensen said the serial number on the back of the laptop matches the serial number provided in Apple Inc.’s response to a subpoena for records," according to Washington Times. More from Daily Beast: FBI agent Erika Jensen testified that a series of messages recovered from the laptop, dated between April 2018 and July 2018, described Biden’s drug use around the time he bought the gun. One message showed a photo of white power on a scale, Jensen said. “You want 10 grams?” another message to Hunter Biden allegedly read. NBC reported that as the laptop was introduced as evidence, Cohen Biden shook her head and whispered to a lawyer next to her. More from York Post's Miranda Devine: COURTROOM REPORT: It’s official. Hunter Biden’s #LaptopFromHell is government exhibit 16 at the First Son’s gun trial in Delaware. The silver MacBook Pro, covered in a plastic wrapper, was first publicly sighted today at 2:10 p.m. when it was carried across the court by prosecutor Derek Hines to his first witness, FBI Special Agent Erika Jensen. She confirmed it was Hunter’s laptop from the serial number on the back that corresponds to his iCloud identity. She said the laptop was obtained by the FBI with a subpoena from The Mac Shop in Wilmington, where it had been “abandoned” by Hunter. She said that investigators corroborated content on the laptop with content in Hunter’s iCloud that they obtained from Apple with a subpoena. Hines then proceeded to go through WhatsApp and text messages, images, and documents from the laptop and iCloud with Jensen to make his case that Hunter was using drugs before, during, and after the period that he bought and possessed the handgun after allegedly signing a background check form on October 12, 2018, saying he was not a drug user. His then-lover, Hallie Biden, later threw the gun in a trash can. The jury kept an unsmiling focus throughout the evidence, which showed Hunter spending $50,000 a month in ATM withdrawals during that period and organizing alleged purchases of crack cocaine. Hunter’s disembodied voice filled the courtroom periodically as prosecutors played audiobook extracts from his memoir, and he remained impassive behind a pair of salmon pink reading glasses. Hallie Biden will be a witness by the end of this week or next week, after Hunter’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle and ex-lover Zoe Kestan. It is three years and eight months since @nypost broke the story of #LaptopFromHell that was censored by Big Tech. A few days later in October 2020, the #Dirty51 ex-intelligence officials, mostly CIA, lied that it was Russian disinformation and then-presidential candidate Joe Biden lied that it was a “Russian plant.” link

FBI Witness Confirms in Court: No Tampering Occurred with Hunter Biden’s Laptop
WENDELL HUSEBØ 5 Jun 2024 3:03 No tampering occurred with Hunter Biden’s laptop, witness Erika Jensen, an FBI agent, told Hunter’s gun trial jury on Wednesday. The testimony debunks longstanding claims by Hunter’s associates that the laptop’s data was subject to “hacking” and “manipulation.” Hunter’s forensics expert, named Denver Riggleman, claimed during a CNN appearance in 2023 that data in the “public sphere” from the “Laptop from Hell” had “no relation” to the laptop. In other words, the president’s son’s defense team seemed to suggest that the laptop — or at least part of it — was not authentic. “No,” Jensen replied when the prosecution asked on redirect if she had seen any evidence of tampering with the laptop data, according to court reporters. The data obtained from Hunter’s iCloud account came from Apple via a search warrant. Hunter’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, tried to undermine the credibility of the laptop on cross examination. “Did you find out if any of the files had been tampered with,” he asked Jensen. “I did not,” she replied. On Tuesday, Jensen confirmed the authenticity of Hunter’s infamous laptop. The DOJ confirmed the laptop was Hunter’s by determining that he left it at a computer store and that the contents matched what authorities obtained via a search warrant of Hunter’s iCloud, as Breitbart News reported in January. Breitbart News’s Emma-Jo Morris, formerly of the New York Post, first reported the “laptop from hell” story in October 2020. Shortly after the New York Post broke the laptop story in 2020, CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand wrote the infamous, and now discredited, Politico story that used “dozens of former intel officials” to push a false and misleading narrative about the origins of Hunter’s laptop. CNN also finally admitted Hunter’s “laptop from hell” was authentic more than 500 days after the initial story broke on October 24, 2020 — notably calling it “Russian disinformation” and “made up” at the time. linkPresident Joe Biden and his press secretary also gave inaccurate statements about the laptop’s origin: Joe Biden: “Overwhelming evidence from the intelligence community” suggested it was Russian disinformation. Joe Biden: Hunter’s laptop was just “a smear campaign” and “a bunch of garbage.” Jen Psaki: The laptop was part of a “broad range of Russian disinformation.” The case is United States v. Hunter Biden, No. 24-1703 in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Hallie Biden Tells Court Hunter Biden Smoked Ping-Pong Ball-Sized Crack Rocks
By Cristina Laila Jun. 6, 2024 7:20 pm Never forget: In October 2020, Joe Biden said, “My son Hunter is the smartest guy I know.” AUDIO: Hunter Biden smoked ping-pong ball-sized crack rocks according to Hallie Biden. Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden’s dead brother’s wife-turned-girlfriend, testified at Hunter’s criminal federal gun trial on Thursday. In September Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges. He was indicted in a Delaware court on three counts related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs. According to text messages sent to Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden set up a drug deal with “Mookie” one day after he illegally purchased his gun on October 12, 2018. A couple days later he went on a crack-smoking bender and passed out in his car. The Gateway Pundit reported back in October 2020 that Hallie Biden tossed Hunter’s gun in the trash in a Delaware grocery store parking lot. A man who routinely rummages through trash cans discovered Hunter Biden’s gun and handed it over to law enforcement. Prosecutors on Tuesday told the court that Hunter Biden bought the firearm while he was smoking crack every 15 minutes. On Thursday Hallie Biden told the court that Hunter smoked ping-pong ball-sized crack rocks. NBC News reported: Hallie Biden said she discovered some crack and had to “google it” because, she said, “I didn’t know what it was.” When she confronted Hunter about the drugs, he admitted he was using. Hunter would smoke crack “occasionally” in Hallie Biden’s presence, she testified, saying that in between crack use, he continued to work and see family. She also witnessed Hunter smoke crack in his D.C. apartment and in a house they rented in Annapolis, Maryland, from the fall of 2017 through July 2018. At times, Hallie Biden would accompany Hunter Biden to drug deals, she said. Hunter Biden’s demeanor would change when he smoked crack, she said. He would become “agitated, high strung,” she said, “but other times functioning as well.” The amount of crack Hunter possessed at any given time ranged from a piece smaller than a marble to multiple rocks the size of ping pong balls, she said. Hunter Biden previously disclosed that he smoked parmesan cheese, mistaking it for crack. “I spent more time on my hands and knees picking through rugs, smoking anything that remotely resembled crack cocaine — I probably smoked more parmesan cheese than anyone that you know, Tracy,” Hunter said. “I went one time for 13 days without sleeping, and smoking crack and drinking vodka throughout that entire time,” he said. This is what Joe Biden meant when he said he will ‘restore decency to the White House.’ link

Jury Deliberations Could Begin Monday in Hunter Biden’s Gun TrialWENDELL HUSEBØ 10 Jun 2024 Hunter Biden’s gun trial appears to be coming to a close after just five full days of proceedings. Judge Maryellen Noreika read jury instructions at Hunter’s gun trial on Monday morning, according to court reporters. WATCH — Biden Vows to Not Pardon Hunter, Respect Verdict: (At link below) The reading of the instruction began after Hunter’s defense team wrapped up arguments. The prosecution rested Friday morning. The jury could begin deliberating Monday afternoon “barring any dramatic moves,” the New York Times reported, “like a last-minute decision by Mr. Biden to testify on his own behalf.” Closing arguments will occur after lunch, CNN reported. Hunter’s defense attorneys, however, indicated Monday morning that Hunter would not testify. The defense has only brought one witness, Naomi Biden Neal, to testify and upon cross examination the testimony went poorly, according to court reporters. She made Hunter appear more “erratic,” per Axios. WATCH — AWR Hawkins: Average Joe Would Pay “Steep Price for Doing a Fraction” of What Hunter Biden Has Done: (At link below) Hunter’s legal defense could be hoping for jury nullification, legal experts warned last week. Jury nullification occurs when a defendant is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, but jurors disregard their oath to find the defendant not guilty. Hunter is charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer. Hunter used crack when he purchased the firearm in 2018, according to a wide variety of photos from the time on his abandoned laptop, and the gun was found discarded in a public trash can next to a school. The Secret Service allegedly intervened in the investigation of that incident. Hunter’s foreign business dealings were in full swing during this timeframe. If convicted on all counts, Hunter faces up to 25 years in prison and $750,000 of files, court filings say. link

Jurors Leave Courthouse After Day One of Deliberations in Hunter Biden Gun Trial – Deliberations to Resume Tuesday
By Cristina Laila Jun. 10, 2024 4:40 pm The jury in Hunter Biden’s criminal gun trial began deliberations Monday afternoon after the defense rested. Hunter Biden declined to testify at his felony gun trial. In September Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges. He was indicted in a Delaware court on three counts related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs. Hunter is facing up to 25 years in prison and $750,000 in fines. Jurors went home Monday evening after day one of deliberating. Jury deliberations will resume on Tuesday, the Associated Press reported. The Associated Press reported: Jurors have begun deliberating on the gun charges against Hunter Biden. President Joe Biden’s son Hunter is accused of lying about his drug use on a federally required form when he bought a gun in 2018. During closing arguments, prosecutors told jurors that there was “overwhelming” evidence against Hunter Biden and that he chose to lie and violate the law. But Biden’s defense attorney Abbe Lowell said prosecutors lacked firm evidence for much of their case, and said they treated the case like a magic trick, using circumstantial evidence in an effort to direct the jury’s focus away from the whole picture. A jury comprising six men and six women had been chosen to oversee the case to decide the fate of Hunter Biden. Among the 12 panelists and four alternates, nine are African-American, and all four alternates are women. Prosecutors destroyed Hunter Biden in their opening statement on day one of the federal criminal gun trial. “It doesn’t matter who you are, or what your name is,” prosecutor Derek Hines said on Tuesday. “No one is above the law.” Prosecutors on Tuesday told the court that Hunter Biden bought the firearm while he was smoking crack every 15 minutes. Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden’s dead brother’s wife-turned-girlfriend, testified at Hunter’s criminal federal gun trial last week and said Hunter smoked ping-pong ball-sized crack rocks. link

Trump’s Campaign Releases Statement on Hunter Biden Conviction
By Jim Hᴏft Jun. 11, 2024 12:00 pm Trump’s campaign took a moment to comment on the recent conviction of Hunter Biden, who was found guilty on all three felony charges related to gun possession after a three-hour jury deliberation. Hunter now faces up to 25 years behind bars. Following the conviction, Trump’s campaign National Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, released a statement: “This trial has been nothing more than a distraction from the real crimes of the Biden Crime Family, which has raked in tens of millions of dollars from China, Russia and Ukraine. Crooked Joe Biden’s reign over the Biden Family Criminal Empire is all coming to an end on November 5th, and never again will a Biden sell government access for personal profit.” Screenshot: Team Trump Matt Gaetz also weighed in on these charges, saying, “The Hunter Biden gun conviction is kinda dumb tbh.” The Oversight Project by The Heritage Foundation also released its own statement: Hunter Biden is guilty. Everyone in the world has known that for a long time. Today a jury in Delaware found him guilty. But do not take the bait, I plead with you. The media is going to say this is the rule of law working. It’s even. What’s happened with the lawfare with President Trump and all of their conservatives is now okay because because they got Hunter on this one thing. That’s not true. They charged him with the lowest level thing they could find, okay. This is about lying on a form to buy a gun, that he was addicted to drugs. Clear as day. Everyone knows that. They did not charge him with running an international pay-to-play influence peddling scheme with his father as the product. His father’s awareness of it with some of the most corrupt corners of the world, the CCP, the corrupt corners of Ukraine… Any corrupt area you point to, the Biden family had some sort of business dealing. They picked the one crime that they could say had nothing to do with Joe, had nothing to do with acting as a foreign agent, and they charged him with that solely to make this kind of plea that now there’s things happening on both sides and everything’s okay. That’s not true whatsoever. This is what they tried to get away with last summer when we threw a wrench in their plans. They went to court in Delaware and under the guise of tax and gun fraud, the Biden administration wanted to offer him a global plea that would have excused him for everything else he did involving his father and the rest of the Biden family. The same thing is at play right now. This sets up for a potential global pardon where his father Joe could say I am pardoning this verdict against my son. And it’s going to include, guess what? Everything else that connects back to Joe. That’s what we need to be on the lookout for. Joe Biden has repeatedly said that he will not grant a pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, should he be convicted of illegal gun possession or any other related charges. During a recent interview, when questioned about the possibility of pardoning his son, Biden’s response was concise and definitive: “Yes,” according to Politico. We’ll see if Biden stands by his word. As Democrat Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries said, “Biden commented as a loving father as I would hope any loving father would do.” Biden also released his statement following the conviction of his son. “I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal. Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support. Nothing will ever change that.” link

Hunter Biden was found guilty of all three felonies. He is facing 25 years in prison. Prosecutors proved that Hunter Biden was smoking crack when he purchased a firearm in 2018. Joe Biden didn’t mention his son Hunter’s gun crimes. He kept his focus on Hunter’s drug addiction to garner sympathy. “As I said last week, I am the President, but I am also a dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today. So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery,” Biden said. “As I also said last week, I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal. Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support. Nothing will ever change that.” Joe Biden has repeatedly stated that he will not pardon his son Hunter. Biden again said during an interview with ABC News that he would not pardon Hunter if he was convicted on the federal gun charges. But will he commute Hunter’s sentence? Hunter Biden Juror Reveals One Critical Mistake Defense Lawyers Made That Ultimately Led to Guilty Verdict
By Cristina Laila Jun. 11, 2024 8:00 pm Jurors on Tuesday returned a verdict in Hunter Biden’s criminal gun trial after three hours of deliberations. GUILTY OF ALL THREE FELONIES! Hunter Biden is facing 25 years in prison. One Hunter Biden juror told The New York Post that the defense team made a critical mistake by calling Hunter’s daughter, Naomi, to the stand to testify. Another juror told The New York Post that Naomi’s testimony did not help Hunter’s case. Naomi Biden, 30, testified that her father texted her at 2 am just days after he illegally purchased a revolver asking her to meet up so they can swap cars. Naomi said that she was sad her crack-addicted father missed another planned event. The jurors said Naomi’s testimony didn’t work out as the defense team hoped. The New York Post reported: Two of the jurors who convicted first son Hunter Biden on federal gun charges Tuesday told The Post they were particularly affected by his eldest daughter Naomi’s testimony – with one panelist saying the defense team made a mistake calling her as a witness. Naomi Biden, 30, recounted her father’s erratic behavior in the days after he illegally lied about his crack cocaine addiction to purchase a .38-caliber revolver on Oct. 12, 2018. At one point, she said, Hunter had texted her at 2 a.m. on Oct. 18, asking if Naomi could meet him somewhere in Manhattan to exchange cars after she used his Ford Raptor pickup to help move her then-boyfriend Peter Neal into her apartment. “I’m really sad, dad,” Naomi texted Hunter later that day after he missed out on another planned rendezvous. “I can’t take this. I don’t know what to say. I just miss you so much. And want to hang out with you.” “It just seemed so sad for her to see her father in such a state,” one juror, a 51-year-old black woman from upper Delaware, told The Post. “She was happy when she thought he was getting better, then he relapsed.” “I just think she probably just wants her dad to be like he was before her uncle [Beau Biden] died [in May 2015],” she added. “And to be able to depend on him.” Prosecutors proved that Hunter Biden was smoking crack when he purchased a firearm in 2018. According to text messages sent to Hallie Biden (Hunter’s sister-in-law-turned lover), Hunter Biden set up a drug deal with “Mookie” one day after he illegally purchased his gun on October 12, 2018. A couple days later he went on a crack-smoking bender and passed out in his car. link

Reporter Asks Residents of Wilmington, Delaware About Hunter Biden Trial – Gets Priceless Reactions (VIDEO)
By Mike LaChance Jun. 13, 2024 9:40 pm Mia Cathell is an investigative reporter for Townhall. After Hunter Biden was found guilty this week, Cathell walked around Wilmington, Delaware and asked residents what they thought about the verdict. Some people were shocked that he was found guilty, others claimed that they knew for sure that Hunter was a crackhead. One thing they all seemed to agree on is that if it was them, they would be in jail right now. This is the sort of reporting that the mainstream media used to do. From Townhall: Many of the Wilmingtonians we talked to were floored to hear that the president’s son wasn’t acquitted on all charges, given who his famous father is and that the trial practically took place in Biden’s backyard. “It’s Bidenworld out here,” one woman, who works for the local government, told Townhall. “I have a lot of thoughts,” the state employee said, but declined to appear on video for fear of retaliation… Hunter’s drug addiction, which his defense team disputed at trial, is public knowledge around town, according to those native to Biden’s home turf. “He’s definitely a crackhead,” a lifelong local, who “grew up with” the First Family, said of Hunter Biden. “I’ve lived here for 30 years. Total crackhead.”… “Of course, he is guilty,” a woman waiting for a bus at Rodney Square, the city’s center, said matter-of-factly. “He was over West Side buying crack. He got the gun, lied on the thing.” “Yeah, he’s guilty!” a bystander piled on, adding: “This should have happened a really, really long time ago.”… “If it was me doing it [lying on a federal firearms form] and I got the [three] felonies, I’d be right behind the bars right now. I wouldn’t even be speaking to you. And that’s what should have happened to him,” she said. Watch the video below: The double standard these people talk about in the video could be a big part of Biden’s undoing. Despite the best efforts of Democrats and the media, average folks know what’s really going on here. link

Convicted felon Hunter Biden and his lawyers initially filed documents in Delaware federal court on Monday morning. They claimed that Judge Maryellen Noreika, who presided over the trial, lacked jurisdiction due to pending rulings by the Philadelphia-based Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Gazette reported. Judge Noreika, who was appointed to the bench by former President Donald Trump, had previously dismissed several motions to drop the charges against Biden, including the defense’s argument that the case violated Biden’s Second Amendment rights. A three-judge panel upheld Noreika’s rulings, but the appeals court has yet to rule on a request for reconsideration by the full Third Circuit. According to New York Post, in the initial filing, Biden’s lawyer Abbe Lowell stated, “The Third Circuit, however, did not then and has not yet issued its mandate as to the orders dismissing either appeal. Thus, when this Court empaneled the jury on June 3, 2024 and proceeded to trial, it was without jurisdiction to do so.” However, moments later it was revealed that the motion had been mysteriously deleted. A note in the court docket stated, “The Motion for a New Trial… has been deleted at the request of counsel,” describing it as a “correcting entry.” The reason for this sudden withdrawal remains unclear. More from the New York Post: The Third Circuit rejected one of Hunter’s appeals on May 9, finding it couldn’t make a ruling before trial. The appellate court on May 28 also shot down the Biden scion’s other bid to toss the three gun charges he faced, finding that it couldn’t rule before a jury verdict. Hunter, 54, was found guilty June 11 of falsely claiming he didn’t use drugs when he bought a .38-caliber Colt Cobra revolver on Oct. 12, 2018, when he was actually hooked on crack cocaine at the time. He faces up to 25 years behind bars at his sentencing. Noreika has yet to set a sentencing date. A spokesperson for special counsel David Weiss’ office declined to comment. Lowell didn’t immediately return a request for comment on why he withdrew the motion for a new trial. Last week, Hunter Biden dropped his lawsuit against former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Robert Costello, the former lawyer of the ex-New York City mayor. The lawsuit accused them of manipulating data found on Biden’s infamous laptop from hell. In September 2023, Hunter Biden filed a civil lawsuit in a federal court in California against Rudy Giuliani and his former lawyer, Robert Costello, claiming they violated state and federal computer privacy laws when they ‘hacked into’ his laptop. Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, filed the stipulation for dismissal on Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. The document requested the court to dismiss the lawsuit against Giuliani and Robert Costello “without prejudice, with each party bearing its own attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses,” according to the New York Post. “This dismissal – along with Hunter Biden’s conviction based on evidence taken from the laptop – is a vindication for Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Costello as well as all of the media outlets who broke the laptop story in 2020 and suffered orchestrated censorship by social media, the leftist mainstream media, and others who engaged in election interference,” Sibley told The Post. link
