I've done an exposé on Aaron of God-A-Minute a couple of times; usually his videos are very long, which is why I don't cover him more often, but Candance was up to the task. Will he - like the others who have claimed they had made their final video - turn up again like a bad penny, or is this (hopefully) the start of false teachers and prophets giving up on spreading falsehoods?  Admittedly, he makes a lot of sense in this video. Since the Rapture Cultists feed off each other, maybe he'll succeed in waking others up to the foolishness of date setting.

GodAminute was a community i was loosely associated with through discord in 2021.. i believe it was may 15th or something.. everyone was saying its the end. some girl with severe mental ailmants started crying her eyes out to everyone because "She wasnt ready to Go and she has a bunch of unsaved family that could be left behind" at that moment it dawned on me how insidious the rapture watching sect is. i think the poor girl had down syndrome or something but hearing her cry while everyone was saying "Dont worry you have Jesus!" made my heart break.

That truly is interesting that all they want is dates but no other type of fellowship activity. It is also interesting that the early Christians endured all kinds of persecution and martyrdom, while today's church in the West has a meltdown if they break a salon polished nail and that the rapture didn't come when they wanted it to. For all their talk about wanting to 'go home and be with the Lord,' I wonder how many would still be saying that if they were facing the lions in the Coliseum rather than a rapture? And it better be a soon rapture date, if it isn't SOON, God forbid, they will even leave Jesus altogether! What a difference. I will say this; the church in the West is ripe. But not for the rapture; for persecution. They are so entitled that this comment alone will make them boil.

As for this dude, it was a good ending. Hopefully he won't fall back into it. And as for living one's life, this is the part that I just don't get. I mean, what else can we do? I don't hold the pre trib view anyway, (it's at the end), I know we are in the end times and all kinds of hoolabaloo is coming. But if we are Christians, what did Jesus tell us to do? Yes, we are to be watching the signs, and they are there. But He said no one knows the time of His return. It is therefore impossible to date set. We are to be busy about His business. And what is that? Hanging on a youtube channel that sets a new date every few weeks? The Bible is full of the things we should be doing to serve God. Also, we still have to work, pay our bills, wash our clothes, all those tasks. There are still so many things in life to enjoy while we are still here, just go smell the roses and grab some fresh air on a morning walk, watch a sunrise from a quiet spot, go for a swim, etc. Whatever the time of the rapture would be, it would still come when it is time. I just don't understand these people who have to hang off a cliff watching these date setting videos and stuffing their whole life into a drawer as if all that will disappear. One lesson of discipleship is that Jesus leads us through our trials and does not always remove them, it grows our faith and develops us into His image. But no one wants boot camp, they all want the easy way out. If they knew what I knew, they'd be eagerly awaiting the Coliseum! Crowns await. : D

I watched him in 2020 when I was watching all these people in his group. I think he changed once he decided to make yt his job and not go back to work when the quarantine was over. Back then, I had hopes in these dates because everything was so crazy. I work in healthcare, so I was still working every day. I've said before that my opinion on the rapture changed, and I couldn't live 2 lives, one planning for the future, and the other thinking I was not going to be here. Many people have fallen into their moneymaking scheme the last 4 years. I get it because life seems harder and people want hope. But that hope is misplaced in the views of these social media video makers.

The problem isn't watching, it is date setting. Jesus said we would know the season, but not the day or hour. We are in the season for sure, but how long, who knows. Don't give up on your blessed hope, just because a date comes and goes, it is coming. And if you die before, just remember, you who are asleep will precede those who are alive.

Kelly's "tarrying" is not only a ridiculous manipulation of scripture, it has a shelf life: This new "twist" of no longer naming a specific date won't inspire the rapture-soon crowd for more than a couple of weeks at most. I have no idea of what denomination Candance is, and she's basically said that the rapture will happen when it happens so just go along with your life, but it seems like she's starting to go to the other extreme as the Rapture Cultists. To be honest, I'm starting to wonder what this woman is all about. Yes, Candance has been calling out some of the more egregious but lesser known false prophets and doing a good job of pointing out their errors, but more recently she's been going after some better known ones, including some actual Bible teachers who aren't phonies - it seems she finds the entire idea of eagerly awaiting the rapture abhorrent. I have no idea of what denomination she is; I've never had the time to listen to her hours long live chats in which she might have mentioned it. and a time or two she's offered prayer - simply repeating the rote Lord's Prayer which, at least in my experience, is done only in mainline denominations, most of which have become apostate, and not evangelical churches. 

In her latest video she does talk about one of the nuts (Brother Chooch), but goes on to find fault with those who've been looking forward to the rapture and thought it was near throughout the years. Yes, people though first WW I, then WW II were signs of the end, along with other events, but she's ignoring the "Super Sign" - the resurrection of the nation of Israel in 1948, and the current convergence of basically all the things which we're told would happen in the End Times. She's also misinterpreting the idea of the "season" of the rapture; she seems to be conflating it with a single season, such as autumn, winter, etc. rather than an extended period of several years.  It seems like her attitude is a fulfilment of 2 Peter 3:4! Obviously, I'm against date setting (thus the "Here's Your Sign" thread), but Luke 21 is quite clear that we'd know when our redemption is drawing near.  We'll just have to keep an eye on her and see which way she goes...perhaps she's pre-wrath or? ? ?

Please don't let scoffers deceive or discourage you, but at the same time, stick to the biblically sound Doctrine of Imminence, i.e., the rapture can happen at any moment, but the timing of it can't be known until it actually occurs.  Stay away from the false prophets and crackpots on YouTube with their mysticism, numerology, voices in their heads, and divination and stick with the well-educated and knowledgeable actual prophecy scholars, many of whose teachings you'll find on this board. I have watched many of your videos. Your main focus seems to be those who produce Rapture videos. You make some very compelling arguments as to why these people have been incorrect. And people need to be made aware of the false teachings and predictions.


That being said, I would like to ask you a question:


Do YOU believe that at some point in time there will be a Rapture? If so, I would like to ask your position on when YOU believe the Rapture will happen. I am not looking for a specific date, for we know that no one knows the day or hour (Matthew 24:36). I would like to know if you are a pre, mid, pre-wrath, or post-tribulationist?


While I understand why you make these videos, it seems to me that you are short on love toward those producing these types of videos. There is a tone of anger when you speak. Instead of lovingly bringing correction, you bash.


You should be less judgmental toward those who are excited about going home to be with the Lord and try reaching out to these people through love and compassion, pointing out to them where they err.

So, Candance never did answer the question. From what I've seen, she doesn't care when the rapture will take place, isn't at all looking forward to it, and paints everyone who is excited about it with the same broad brush. Frankly, I'm surprised she didn't just delete that comment, as she's notorious for deleting comments she doesn't care for - she didn't like some of mine, and they vanished.

As for her "every person I cover is in the prediction business," well, in her opinion that includes people who say, "Maybe the rapture will be today!"  

She's at the totally opposite end of the spectrum of the Rapture Cultists, which in its own way is almost as bad. As I've said before, I have no idea of what denomination she is, or even if she's genuinely born again, but...we'll keep an eye on her channel.
