If you read the Bible - IN CONTEXT - you know that there's a great falling away in the Last Days, NOT a "great awakening." Sure, a revival is coming...AFTER the rapture! 

Prophecy: A Jephthah Awakening Is Underway

I heard the Lord say: "I am raising up a Jephthah generation of men to be pillars in the next great awakening. These men will be full of valor and be the complete personification of masculinity. They will be men after My own heart and they will be fully confident in who they are in Me and they will have a heart for the children, and the children will have a heart for them. They will instruct sons in how to be men, and the sons will take over where the Jephthahs left off."



The Spirit spoke clearly to me that "In the beginning. I made man in My image and likeness. and I took Eve out of Adam. Male is fully to be male and female is to be fully female. I am releasing the call to awaken the men of God in My house!



"There has been a falling away of masculinity in My house. and I am raising up a new breed of Spirit-filled masculine saints of God who will step up to the plate and lead their homes and be a rock for their communities.



"I am bringing forth a revival of manliness back into My house. Men will act like men and will not be overtaken by Ahab any longer. These men will love their families with their full heart. They will honor their wives and be chivalrous once more. These men will lead Bible studies and be the first to volunteer in their churches. Oh, I am calling forth the real men to stand up and see My goodness!



"An awakening of masculinity will take place in My house, and these men will come alongside My intercessors. No more will it be only those who are female that war in intercession for Me. I am releasing the Jephthah generation on men.



"Just as Jephtha's very name means 'to open,' I will use these men to help open the next move of My Spirit.



"The men I am raising up will not consult their pasts to decide their futures. These men will have a confidence in themselves that only comes from Me. I will magnify My anointing on their lives so that all of those who are 'empty' with no purpose or goals in life will be drawn to these Jephthahs. They will become transformed in their heart and in their purpose. When people see the once-'empty' men who were with no vision and no ambition changed into leaders and pillars in their society, they will seek out answers from them. These men will share their faith in Me with a boldness like a lion, and they will once again steer head a local church evangelism movement that will produce disciples of valor.



The Spirit said, "The men who walk in My strength will be slow to speak and quick to hear. These men will not be social media gossips or cause confusion with My people. My heart will be clear through them. The Jephthah anointing will cause men to mean what they say and say what they mean. These men will be leaders, and kindness will be at the forefront. Yes, masculinity will once more be celebrated in America. The warriors are rising. ... the Jephthah generation is waking up; Men who are men and men who are after My own heart. These men will see My goodness and will lead from that vantage point. The awakening of the Jephthah generation in men will start as men see my goodness. As they truly behold how much I love them and love others, they will arise to being valiant and bold. Just as Jephthah lived in Tob (Good) These men will see that I am good in all things, and their hearts will be smitten and transformed to be strong in Me and the power of My might. The men are rising up. ... pillars in My house."



Jephtha was a mighty man of valor, and he also had the honor of being listed in the hall of faith in Hebrews 11.



Jephtha was used by God in spite of his background, for he was born from a harlot. In Judges chapter 11:1-8, the story unfolds...



Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, but he was the son of a prostitute. Gilead was the father of Jephthah. Gilead's wife also bore him sons. His wife's sons grew up and drove Jephthah away. They said to him, "You will not inherit anything from our father's house because you are the son of another woman." So Jephthah fled from his brothers and lived in the land of Tob. Men of ill repute gathered around Jephthah and went out with him.



Some time passed, then the Ammonites waged war with Israel. When the Ammonites waged war with Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah back from the land of Tob. They said to Jephthah, "Come and be our leader so that we may fight the Ammonites."



Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "Did you not hate me and drive me out of my father's house? Why have you come to me now that you are in trouble?"



The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "Even so, we have turned to you. Come with us and fight the Ammonites. You will be ruler over all the inhabitants of Gilead."



This story shows that Jephtha was the born in the midst of abandonment. He was the son of a harlot, and Gilead was his father. As Jephtha grew, his half-brothers literally pushed him out of his home and out of his inheritance.



Jephthah was known as a mighty man of valor, but he didn't become that way until he faced persecution and the left foot of fellowship and was rejected by his peers. He went to a land called Tob, and men whom the Bible denotes as "worthless" came unto him to be part of his raiding band of misfits.



What is amazing in all of this is that he went to a land called Tob which literally means "good." The "worthless" fellows who came to him literally mean "empty."



There is no doubt that Jephthah walked out his life as a masculine man of valor, and what is masculinity?



Many have differing opinions of what "masculinity" means, but true masculinity is found in King Jesus.



King Jesus is the masculine gospel. "Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13).



Johnny Cash described manliness this way: "Being a Christian is not for sissies. It takes a real man to live for God—a lot more man than to live for the devil." Manliness takes a stand even when the stand isn't popular. The Jephthas are rising up to live without shame or fear for King Jesus.



King Jesus proved that true masculinity is seen in laying down your life for someone other than yourself. True masculinity is being courageous in the midst of adversity. Masculinity is what makes a man a man and there has been an attack on manliness in the modern church.



In the modern church, the ladies are the ones who volunteer the most. They serve as the main intercessors, and the males shy away from prayer. The ladies are even the first ones many pastors call on to volunteer, because they know that they will step up to the plate and help lead the church, because many of the men aren't committed to serving.



This goes on while many men sit in the church pew not feeling confident to step up and serve or in all actuality have no desire to lead because they would rather be on the golf course, at the football game or behind a video game controller wasting time while their wives serve in a leadership capacity at the local church. This grieves the Father!



Many young men in church are less motivated to move out of their homes, and many lack the confidence or ambition to dream big. It has been said that the greatest generation as we know it was the generation that fought during World War II. These men and women knew what it meant to be masculine and feminine and in doing so, they rallied our great country to victory.



It seems that today in the modern church, many young men have succumbed to Ahab, and they lie around feeling sorry for themselves and have the entitlement mentality that they deserve something for which they did not work. These same young and even older males want everyone to pursue them instead of them pursuing others. In relationships these males want the female to come after them, and even in job-hunting, many expect the jobs to just pop right out of thin air.



Many women are frustrated today because they all are looking for real men and haven't been able to find them. That is all about to change. God is restoring men to His original intent: to be leaders and providers in their communities, representing God's heart to their families and sphere of influence.



Men of God are rising up and not shying away from embracing their masculinity. Men will be men once again in the body of Christ. The Jephtha awakening has begun.

Prophecy: A Glory Revolution Is Coming to Canada

When I was in Saskatoon, Canada, with apostle Barbara Yoder and apostle Ryan LeStrange this past weekend, I heard the Lord say "glory revolution."



As I pressed in to hear more from the Lord, I heard these words from the Spirit:



"I am bringing a glory revolution to Canada that will sweep through all its provinces. In past generations and in past seasons, I have moved through your cities to bring healing and revival winds that impacted the nations. I will once again rise up in your midst to magnify you among the nations as you stand on My promises. Look to your roots. Look to your history. There is a rich heritage in your land. Tap into the root of revival and decree the awakening that is here and coming.



"The enemy has left many churches for dead, but I am resurrecting them with a new wineskin for a new season with a new measure of anointing that will see those captive to religion break free and see Me for who I really am. When the remnant rises—when the blinders are removed—My glory revolution will begin to spill over in unusual ways and unusual places. Churches that have not embraced moves of My Spirit in the past will accept Me with open arms and walls will break down.


"I am inviting you to be part of a glory revolution. What say you?"



We saw a shift in Saskatoon after a weekend of ministry in which the glory manifested in several levels. Indeed, the first fruits of a glory revolution emerged in this gathering, which included many First Nations people and hungry believers who understand the power of honor.



I'm standing with Canada and believing for a glory revolution that spills over into the nations of the earth.

Prophetic Word: The Lord Is Erecting a Healing Zone Spreading From Hershey, Pennsylvania

As a sweet-smelling aroma ascended from Hershey, Pennsylvania, to the throne, trembling words from hell came screaming: "I smell chocolate, I smell milk and I smell honey. It smells like the promised land!" (Pixabay/congerdesign)

Milton Hershey was a great man. Milton Hershey's wife, Catherine, couldn't have children, so they adopted four orphans. When Milton Hershey died, he left a large sum of money to orphanages.



Today, there are 10,000 acres of land near Hershey, Pennsylvania, with 130 homes that house 8-10 children each, and more homes are being built all the time. There are over 1200 students living there (orphans and underprivileged children). They have their own school (first grade through twelfth grade) and community. I once ministered at one of the homes, and two small children opened up the meeting by blowing shofars.



Catherine Hershey had a progressively deteriorating muscular disease that doctors were unable to diagnose. They said it would eventually take her life. This motivated Milton Hershey to have the best doctors available to Catherine, and later, funds to have a research hospital in Hershey. The Hershey Medical Center, which the Hershey Trust funds today, was started with $50 million.



Milton Hershey had a ticket to go on the Titanic, but at the last minute, his wife became ill, and he missed his trip. The Titanic went down, and his life was spared. God had his hand on this man. Milton came to the Lord in later years.



A Healing Zone Is Being Erected



I saw one of the greatest outpourings of healing being erected as a healing zone, invading and surrounding the community at large (I do mean large!) of Hershey, Pennsylvania. I heard a strong angel decreeing: "And there shall be 'drive thru' healings taking place in this city and surrounding its borders!"



A 'Womb of Healing' is Now Being Opened to Give Birth to 'Hershey Healings and Cures' for the Nations



I heard the enemy complaining and regretting the days that the womb of Milton Hershey's wife could not conceive. "Now we have a 'womb of healing' opening up in this place, where multitudes will conceive their healing for the nations!" I heard the stronghold spirit over Hershey crying out to hell, "It's Hershey; we've got a problem!"



I saw the angels of orphans and underprivileged children standing before the face of the Father, bringing their cries of "Abba, Father," and their tears for Daddy to come home to Hershey to be with them.

I heard the enemy proclaiming throughout all of hell: "We have been working overtime to stop those praying Christians and to bring division to those churches and families, but we have overlooked the power of the cries of the fatherless! Those cries were coming from outside of the church and ascending straight to the throne of their real Father! And He's coming to Hershey with full force!"

Had to laugh, this "prophecy" brought some me some "SNICKERS" when I read it.



I can't decide which I like better, "HERSHEY or NESTLE" I'm caught be "TWIX' the two.



I hope these healers don't have "BUTTERFINGERS" when they start doing their thing!

YES! Drive thru healings! Finally! I wanted to get healed for a while now but didn't feel like getting out the the car. This is a answer to prayer! And after getting healed, let's get together to celebrate at Troeg's. It's right across from Hershey Park.

Should we even be listening to words from hell at all? Ever? If we hear them, why would we believe *anything* that came from the father of lies? If it weren't written seriously, this would be comical. But it is written as if it is a revelation from God.

Prophetic Word: The Lord Says, 'I Am Releasing a New Season of Strategy'

Recently, more than ever before, my heart has been burdened to know more of the authenticity of the Lord. Not that I haven't been determined beforehand, but it was different this time as the burden began to grieve me in such a way that I have grown more and more dedicated in the purifying of the prophetic. It seems that words are a dime a dozen these days, and the ability to process them all can be overwhelming. Granted, I do believe that the Lord is in many of these words. However, like so many other things, we have to weed out those words that have no anointing within the ones that do.



Because I keep running through so many words that are often proclaimed to be prophetic, I often find myself feeling like I am reading a lot of the same words over and over again. So many people want to claim to be prophetic that they are releasing anything and everything that could potentially sound like a word from the Lord. Over the last couple of months, I found myself frustrated with words that weren't necessarily new but rearranged in a prettier package than the original author.



Please understand my heart with what I am saying. I am in no way implying that I am the standard on prophetic ministry. The standard is the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. His Word will always carry more weight than anything I could ever say. However, I do believe that everything coming with such force has created a lot of clutter and frustrations for a lot of individuals, including myself. I have found myself unable to process things with clarity. It seemed as though there had been a mass confusion going on in my mind and sight. Granted, we know that God is not the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33). And yet, it seems that many (including myself) have been struggling in what to do or where to go. It is as though we know something is before us, but we are unable to see what it is. At this moment, it's just a gut check in our spirit that it's there, but we don't have the understanding in order to apply the wisdom and knowledge. The confusion is not of the Lord, but we have to realize that it has absolutely nothing to do with a preconceived idea of confusion, and actually it has everything to do with what has been hidden, that we may know the revealed, in the kairos time.



The Purpose



I have purposely sat quiet in the recent months to dwell more on the intimacy of my relationship with the Father. I wanted to be more in tune with His voice over any distractions or hindrances that may have more of a voice in my daily life. Call it a time to clear my own thoughts and my own selfish desires. During this, I have recognized the purpose of it all.



It would come in a vision from the Lord as He began to show me a dry-erase board that had been filled with a multitude of words and arrows pointing in every direction, and on that board, those words are written in a foreign language. Ultimately, it appeared to be a cluttered mess that I had no understanding of due to my inability to read the language. In the vision, I sat in front of this board and became more and more frustrated because I knew he words and signs meant something, but because of my inability to translate the language, it left me with my only choice is to wipe the board clean out of frustration. It was now clean, but something within me knew that those words meant something. I could see the board now, but I didn't have any knowledge as to what was the meaning of everything that was once there. Standing before a blank dry-erase board will bring about clarity as there is nothing there to create a mass of confusion or mind games. However, that's not why these kinds of boards were created. They are not designed to be wall art on a blank canvas. The dry-erase board is created to be used for a specific purpose.



The Word



I found myself standing before the blank board that once had foreign words on it and realized that I had allowed my frustrations to overtake my willingness to pursue revelation. The vision stayed with me for days, as I tried to understand why this stayed with me so strongly. Then, the word from the Lord



I heard the Lord say, "I am releasing a new season of strategy. I am bringing about a clarity to those who will have an ear to hear and they will not only hear the strategy, but they will see the plans unfold before them. What has been concealed will be revealed to those who are willing to hear beyond the language barrier as barriers are being removed. I am releasing new assignments that will be keys in unlocking the advancement of the kingdom. What has been taking place will now see the shift of the unknown come into the fullness of authenticity. I am releasing strategies that will release angels in their assignments in the commissioning of this season. There will be an increase of sons who take their place from the field to the generals' quarters. They will rise from the hidden places to take their position to detail the principals of strategy. Sons will rise to run with fathers. There will be an increase of promotions. There will be an increase of abundance. There will be an increase in grace and mercy. It's a new season of strategy. What has appeared to be foreign will be translated into understanding. When the strategy is understood, I will release the increase of knowledge and wisdom. You will see the language that has been hidden become the language of strategies for the advancing of My kingdom. It's a new season, son. Rise up, take your place and prepare yourself, as I am positioning the sons for the season of strategy, and they will know the activation has been given unto them from heaven."



The Reality



Look, many of you have been in a time where it seems like things can easily become cluttered. The words are there, but you can't make them out to be anything but letters. You have wanted so much more to understand and to realize what is happening. You have wanted to know the difference between what is happening now and what is going to take place soon. That's why this word is so encouraging to our reality. I believe that the Lord is taking many on a journey of fresh revelations, but these aren't like the ones before. I believe that the Lord is taking many on a journey where He is releasing strategy. Do we get that? Do we understand what is possible when we have a strategy?



I believe this strategy will be what so many ministries have been waiting on. Many individuals have sought for keys to unlock regions but had nothing on the drawing board. And yet God is going to take you from the unknown to the advancement. What could you achieve with strategy? What could you no longer be limited to? With divine strategy being revealed, your activity will change according to the clarity of what you are doing in your region.



You will step into the fullness of His promises. You will come out of your wilderness. No more wondering. You will step into your inheritance. You will receive the strategy to overcome. You will shift with purpose as you prepare for His Glory. You will take each step in accordance to His plan to see awakening become reality. Be encouraged! You are about to see a major shift in your strategy. You are becoming more effective for the advancing of the kingdom!

Discerning Your Prophetic Expression and Releasing Your Voice

No two prophets or prophetic people are alike. You can't put a prophetic person in a box because you can't put God in a box.



What is your prophetic expression? You have one. Identifying your flow helps you function more accurately. You can't be someone God has not called you to be.



By the same token, you should not try to be like any other prophetic person. God gave you a unique prophetic fingerprint and voice that needs to be released.




Don't let religion muzzle you and Jezebel silence you. Watch this teaching and get inspired!

Prophecy: Healing for the Seers After a Season of Warfare

The Lord is proclaiming hearing for the seers!



In a recent "Mornings With the Holy Spirit" prayer broadcast, the Lord showed me clearly how the enemy has skewed the vision of many seers during a season of warfare. I prophesied:



"You've begun to see things not as they are but as the enemy wants you to see them ... Whatever the enemy is showing you, just look around the corner, because that is where something better lies. Just look around the corner."



Seers, it's one thing to see what the enemy is doing. It's another thing to allow the enemy to mesmerize you with his evil acts to the point of fear or trauma. If you're going to look and see what the enemy is doing, look in the Spirit and see what God wants to do also. Look in the Spirit and see what God has planned. Press in further and ask the Lord to show you the other side.



Let me put it another way. Some seers only see devils, devils, devils. But God is in there somewhere—God's blessings, God's angels, God's strategy, God's provision. You have to press past the demonic to see clearly the Lord's plan in the matter. Again, ask the Lord to show you the other side.



I understand how some seers are mesmerized by what they see the enemy doing because the visions are so vivid. It's almost overwhelming visually. But the Lord says,


"Take a glimpse, but don't keep staring. Take a glimpse, but don't keep staring. Take a glimpse. Get the information I'm allowing you to see in the spirit. Get the information. Get the details, but don't let it mesmerize you. Don't let it throw you off course. Don't let it cause you to stumble. Don't let it bring fear in your heart. Oh, just take a glimpse. Write down the details, but then look for Me. I will show you things to come, not just what the enemy is doing, but the things that I want to do."



As I continued praying, the Lord showed me the eyes of some seers have been polluted by what the enemy showed them in their dreams. You didn't choose to see it—but the Lord is healing your eyes. Some of you don't even want to dream anymore because of the terror you see in the nighttime. But the Lord is healing your eyes.



The Lord shows me that many seers stopped expressing their gift people didn't appreciate it. People actually persecuted them for it because they didn't like what you were seeing. The Lord wants to heal your hearts.



Here's my prayer:
    
Lord, in the name of Jesus, bring the fullness of the expression of the seer to Your seers. Bring balance to the seer anointing. Heal the eyes of the seers the enemy has terrorized. Heal the hearts of those who have been persecuted, in the name of Jesus. Raise up the seers to the positions and posts that You want them to have in this hour. Help the seers stand and withstand the onslaught that comes against their mind, even in their dreams, in Jesus' name. God help them to walk worthy of the vocation to which You have called them, for Your glory. Amen.

Prophetic Word for 2018: The Father Is Saying, 'Batten Down the Hatches!'

I sense 2018 will be a year of 'everything at once'. All hell will break loose and all of heaven will break loose, but heaven is greater than hell. I sense the presence of a great cloud of heavenly witnesses, including family members, standing to cheer us on this coming year. The eyes of heaven are upon us, waving checkered flags in the distance.



The heavens are shouting, "Don't lose your excitement for what God has called you to do. Your excitement excites Him and activates the angels among you. Excitement is a powerful weapon against the enemy, as it ties his hands."



A challenging year is ahead. It will seem like everything is happening at the same time. People will be saying, "It's always something. It's always something," in a negative tone. On the other hand, if we stay focused on the Lord, we will be saying, "He's always doing something. He's always doing something good, in spite of the situation."



The mindset we need to have for this new year is: "We do bears, we do lions and we do giants. That's what we do." For they will come this year to find out what is in us. These will be distractions to keep us from focusing on the Lord and worshipping Him no matter what. I sense the enemy saying, "I hope you don't feel like worshipping the Lord this year with what I have in mind. If you do, it will bring Him down into your situation, and if He shows up, I'm out of here, for He doesn't know how to lose. Defeat is not in Him."



Extreme Trials and Extreme Victories



It will be a year like Houston being hit by a hurricane and winning the World Series. Extreme testings and extreme victories. Testings will bring them on. Priorities will change as these challenges show up.



I hear the Father saying, "Batten Down the Hatches." I sense this means the prayer closet will become a very important place in our lives. "Batten down the hatches," I sense, refers to closing the door on distractions as we not only pray but listen to him speaking to us.

Eat your giants today. They are your nourishment. They are your bread and sustenance. Giants are the breakfast of champions."



"Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of th land because they are btread for us. Their defense i sgone from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them" (Num. 14:9).



I have wondered why it's still my favorite No. 1 song going into this new year. "I'm no longer a slave to fear; I am a child of God." Why is "Do Not Fear" mentioned so often throughout the Bible? Because God knows there will be times and reasons why we will be afraid, but He is with us. He has already slain every bear, every lion and every giant we will ever face, so we can too. Remember: Jesus lives in us, He is not afraid and He doesn't worry about anything.

Prophetic Vision: The Spirit of Offense Wants to Attack You in These 8 Ways

Offense: It's a word we have either experienced or seen others go through it. It's a hot-topic word as it seems more and more individuals are going through battles of being offended. Whether it is being offended over politics, religion, freedom, protests or choices, the list is long with so many dealing with being offended on some level. To understand more about how offense works against individuals who have a relationship with Jesus, I began to consider how the mindset of offense works.



And that's when I saw an octopus. Yep, I know it sounds strange, but it was the image that first came to me. I began to see how offense operates like the arms and the legs of an octopus. Offense has the sole purpose to attach itself to you (to entangle you), and I believe that the Lord is detailing how a spirit of offense will come against you in eight different ways.



1. Mind - Romans 8:5-8: "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace, for the carnal mind is hostile toward God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God." When offense takes root, the first place it's coming after is your mind. If offense can attach itself to your thoughts, it owns your ability to process understanding. The moment offense attaches itself to your mind, the ability to have clarity and peace is diminished, as everything now becomes about feeding every thought that is only directed at the hurt through offense.



2. Sight/Vision - Proverbs 29:18 (KJV): "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." Proverbs 29:18 (MSG): "If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed." The problem now becomes about what you are seeing, verses that aren't actually there. Once offense attaches itself to your vision, you now become bombarded by everything that you see. You begin to see things as though they are something that they are not. Every post, every picture, every action is something that you see as a direct attack against you. What is a general or a normal statement now looks as a direct shot against you. Offense shifts your vision from fulfilling your purpose into an opposition from everyone/everything. You're now unable to recognize what God is doing as you're devoted to see what is being done to you.



3. Heart - Proverbs 6:16-19 (MEV): "These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who speaks lies, and he who sows discord among brethren." This is a very dangerous place to find yourself. The moment that offense attaches itself to your heart, every single thing you do becomes toxic and dangerous. It's out of the abundance of your heart that everything about your true intentions are revealed. It's the moment that your heart becomes so infected that your actions become destructive to those that are around you.



4. Relationships - Proverbs 17:9: "He who covers a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates friends." This has to be one of the saddest things to witness as offense attaches itself to your relationships. Offense will eventually put a wedge between you and your family or friends. Your relationships will change over time as you search out certain people to tell your side to who will be on your side or who is now your enemy. Offense will divide your most devoted friends to now become an enemy because they didn't see it your way.



5. Hearing - James 1:19-20: "Therefore, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man does not work the righteousness of God." Offense will attack your ear gate. A spirit of offense will attach itself to your hearing in such a way that not only will your natural hearing be affected, but also the ability to hear spiritually will be tainted. Naturally, we will begin to hear what others are saying and process those things to be slanderous towards us. More dangerously is when that affects your ability to hear what the Lord is saying. Your spiritual ear will become more tuned to the lies, manipulation and deception of the enemy.

6. Body/health - Proverbs 16:24 - "Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones." Many don't like to talk about it, but the truth is, offense will begin to become a natural issue in your body. The negative thoughts, bitterness, unforgiveness, rage, frustration, unwarranted worries, strife and so forth will eventually take a toll on your physical health.



7. Time - Ephesians 6:2-3 - "'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise, 'so that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.'" If honor produces life, what will offense take from life? Time! When offense attaches itself to you, your time becomes consumed with proving others wrong and you right. You become consumed with payback or restitution to what was done to you. Instead of being about the Father's business, your No. 1 priority is you. Therefore your time is now robbed from your own offense.



8. Finances - Ecclesiastes 2:26 - "For to a man who is pleasing before Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting to give him who is pleasing before God. Also this is vanity and chasing the wind." I know it's a touchy subject these days, but money is still a relevant issue that must be acknowledged in the kingdom. Part of the lack you will experience when it comes to finances can be rooted to a spirit of offense. When offense attaches itself to you, you soon welcome bitterness towards others in ministry, pastors, apostles, prophets, networks, churches, organizations and so on. When that offense digs deep, you will begin to withhold your finances from what you once supported. Offense will convince you to do so as a plan of strategy. Offense will convince you that they will come crawling back to you because they need your money. Truth is, offense attacks your finances and not the finances of those who are pleasing God.



A spirit of offense has but one purpose: to destroy you. Offense is straight from the enemy, and if you allow an open door, it will not be long until you see how it affects one of the eight (or more) ways mentioned above. Guard your heart, guard your mind and keep your spirit devoted to the Father. When offense comes knocking, and it will, please walk out what the Bible declares. Don't be the type of person who calls everyone without going to the one whom the offense first began with.



Matthew 18:15-17: "Now if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, then take with you one or two others, that by the testimony of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector."

Prophecy: I Heard the Lord Say, 'Unwrap Your Enemies for Christmas!'

I was offended by someone recently. I knew what I should do, but I had no power to do it. I know all the Scriptures on forgiveness and blessing our enemies, and that even made it worse. While I was driving in my car yesterday, the Lord spoke, "Bill, if you will bless your enemy, I will bless you." Suddenly, those words took my focus off of that person who hurt me back to the Lord and an overwhelming desire to be blessed myself. Oh, how I wanted and needed God to bless me.



Immediately, the hurt began to heal as it dawned on me that when we do what God tells us to do, He blesses us. Obedience brings the blessing of the Lord and adds no sorrow with it.



Each time the hurt comes back, I say, "No, I want that kind of blessing that saves and heals and satisfies my soul." In 24 hours, a blessing came that I cannot tell you about right now. It is overwhelming to me.


How I needed this word for myself at this time. How about you? Do you have any enemies that you need to unwrap? I think we all have some unwrapping to do before Christmas.

Prophetic Word: Old Sickles Will Not Harvest This New Wheat

Somewhere in the place between asleep and just barely getting there, I had a vision a few nights ago, and I felt I needed to share it. I saw myself in a giant wheat field. The grain was thick on the stalks, almost to the point of them beginning to droop. I walked through them, feeling them rush past my hands. I could see in the distance a few people using a sickle to cut the wheat. They were hard at work and didn't even notice me. Then suddenly I found myself in what seemed to be a clearing, but it wasn't supposed to be one. I could see that a huge section of the wheat had been crushed down leaving a large portion pushed down. As I looked around the field again I could see that many of these sections were around the field. I knelt down to look at the wheat, and the heads were just as bountiful as the ones whose stalks were not broken. I looked up at one of the harvesters and instinctively I knew that the sickle wouldn't harvest this wheat. I knew that to harvest these portions of the field were going to take extra special care. These portions needed new methods.



As I began to pray about this vision it's meaning to me seemed very clear. The harvest and wheat fields are commonly referred to in the Bible as the mission field. The stalks of wheat were the souls of people. (Luke 10:2 and Matt. 9:37). What I believe God was saying is that the harvest is there. I believe the church is getting ready to experiences one of the biggest harvests we've seen in a modern age. However, the methods we have always used may not work for everyone. Some of stalks have been beaten down and trodden. Some of them are just as ripe as the others but are going to need some extra care to harvest. As leaders in the church, we can't just assume that methods we've always used for evangelism are the ways we always have to use. We must seek God for how to reach those sections of the field. We must remember that these are people just lying in the field and needing someone to help them up.


May we begin to seek God for those new methods. May we not assume that new wine will go into old wineskins. May we hear from heaven as to how to reach the lost and do what needs to be done. The harvest is plentiful, may we get up from our padded pews and be one of the laborers.

Just One Dose of the Holy Ghost Is Not Enough for Me

This week a video clip from a 1996 service with Kenneth Hagin popped up on my newsfeed. Evangelist Daniel Kolenda posted it over a month ago with this short caption, "Have a drink this morning!! (Be careful not to judge too quickly. This is very holy)." It had already racked up 1.6 million views before I saw it.



Though I never had the honor of hearing Kenneth Hagin in person, I have been greatly impacted by his writing. Being able to see him minister in this short clip is a blessing. It took me back to that wonderful season of outpouring millions experienced during the late 1990s. During that time, moments like the one captured in this clip were not just limited to one man or church. Revival fire had spread across the United States. Congregations were growing quickly as people came through the doors simply seeking more. The altars were packed every week with repentant souls. Prayer meetings were filled not only with people, but power. The Holy Spirit was allowed to move with freedom in the church, and the effects were life-changing.



Yes, moments like the one in this video happened often. Were they strange? To the flesh—absolutely. However, there was also an awe to these moments that often produced a deeper hunger and desire for the things of God.



I remember so many similar moments during this time. Times when you would become so aware of the presence of the Lord that you could only stand or lay in absolute stillness and silence (2 Chron. 5:14). These reverent moments could sometimes last for hours. Other times such joy would overcome individuals that the effect was intoxicating (Eph. 5:18-19). I've been in services where hundreds of people would burst into uncontainable weeping and wailing as they interceded for lost souls. These are the wordless groans Paul writes about (Rom. 8:26). No doubt, to an outside observer, such moments are indeed a strange thing.



That was the original reaction recorded on that very first Pentecost when thousands watched the initial 120 receive the baptism of the Spirit. The Bible says, "They were all amazed and perplexed, saying to each other, "What does this mean?" Others mocking said, "These men are full of new wine" (Acts 2:12-13).



Not surprisingly, just a few quick glances through the comments on this video, and I see the same criticisms Spirit-filled believers have always faced. One person wrote, "This is witchcraft." Another, "This clearly is satanic and demonic," or "This video is creepy."



I can understand their apprehension—at one time that was me. To those who don't understand, I offer this advice: Judge every work by its fruit. Scripture instructs us, "do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God...This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God" (1 John 4:1-2). Buried in the many comments was this post from a gentleman who simply wrote, "I was in this service—life-changer." This is the test of any manifestation of the Spirit. If the Spirit of God is truly at work, you'll see lives transformed in Christ. That only comes by way of the Spirit of God.



I love that many of these holy moments are finding their way out of the archives and being shared once again. These embers from the past are needed at this time. They remind us of our Pentecostal roots and serve as a rebuke to what we've lost.



My friend, do you wonder where these holy moments are happening today? I do! Has the 21st-century American Pentecostal church become too polished, too perfect or too performance-driven for such a holy moment to break out in our midst? I am afraid so! Imagine your church this Sunday if such an outbreak occurred. I pray it does!



"Pentecost without the weird," has become the aim of so many today. They desire a church warmed by Pentecostal fire but not consumed by it. So far, this has proven an effective model for growth, allowing many Pentecostal churches to become the largest in their communities.



I know some of these leaders well. They are amazing believers with an unquestionable love for the Lord and people. Their own testimonies include powerful encounters with the Spirit of God and their own holy-moment stories. Yet these holy moments don't happen in their churches. Why?



In our personal conversations, they say to me, "Daniel, you can't grow a church that way."



Though these moments marked their own past, they are shunned in the present. Why? They have a plan, a program and model that works well. They truly believe in the system in place and have become beholden to it. Such holy moments are viewed as disruptive to the status quo, so they are not sought after and often actively discouraged.



Many can remember a time when the Spirit-filled church was an outcast in the city. It was dwarfed numerically by the traditional evangelical church in town. They were labeled as chandelier-swinging fanatics and regularly mocked. However these churches existed and endured because there was a group of believers who desperately desired more of the Spirit. They simply believed that a Bible filled with accounts of life-altering encounters with the Lord were not just stories—they were invitations. It was that desire for more that made them distinct.



When was the last time a word in tongues was heard in the sanctuary? When was the last time a prophetic word was delivered? When was the last time hands were laid on hungry seekers and they were filled with the Holy Spirit? When was the last time an indescribable holy moment took place?



Today, the pursuit of numeric success has caused many Spirit-filled churches to lose that Pentecostal distinctive. They have become to this century what the non-Pentecostal evangelical church was in the previous century. Sure the worship has more energy, and the preaching has more emotion, but aside from the words on the screen, there is little different from week to week. They are absent of these life-changing holy moments that are never forgotten.



I long for those moments to become widespread once again. Let us remember where we came from, not to find a path backward, but a way forward. If revival is to be more than a common word we use, it must become something (or more accurately Someone) we choose to pursue. It's time to clear the stage and program and make room for the Holy Spirit to once again move with freedom within His church.



Just as it was true decades ago, there is still a people who long for much more than a professional and polished Pentecostal church. They are a growing remnant that is convinced a life-altering encounter with God is not only possible, but paramount. That desire is growing, week by week as they become increasingly dissatisfied with the status quo. Something is about to break—or break out.



How do I know? It's just like the song sung at the end of this clip says, "Just one dose of the Holy Ghost, is not enough!"

Prophetic Word: Bloodhounds Released From Heaven to Pursue the Third Generation

Paul writes to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:5, "remembering the genuine faith that first lived in your grandmohter Lois and your mother Eunice and that I am persuaded lives in you also."



I sense the Father saying, "I am downloading the faith of grandmothers not only into their children, but unleashing a major downloading of their faith into the third generation--their grandchildren!"



I was reading recently in Francis Frangipane's book, This Day We Fight!, that Francis wondered how he was drawn to the Lord like many of us in the early '70s when there seemed to be no corporate prayer from pastors or churches praying for an outpouring upon young people. Upon asking the Lord what activated this major move of the Spirit, the Lord responded to Francis, "I heard the cries of a million praying mothers crying out to Me for their children, across all denominations!"



A Mother's Prayers Are Powerful, but Oh, the Power of a Grandmother's Prayers



You have probably heard it said that parents are the "law" and grandparents are "grace." I believe perhaps grandparents, especially grandmas, may have an edge of prayer-power to influence their grandchildren because "with years comes understanding, and with the ancient there is wisdom."



I wonder why so many grandparents seem to be having to raise their grandchildren because of broken marriages today. In spite of these tragedies, I sense these grandchildren are being greatly influenced through godly grandparents, especially grandmothers. And God is turning it around for good.



I saw bloodhounds from heaven being released to pursue this "third" generation. I saw grandmothers pleading the blood of Jesus over their grandchildren, and these bloodhounds were picking up the scent of that blood as they began to outrun and overtake them at every turn, for there was now no more hiding place!



Some grandchildren were climbing up trees to escape these eternal prayers, but these bloodhounds were at the bottom, barking and out-waiting many of them as they began to cry out and call upon the name of the Lord to be saved!



We are now in the "third" day move of God on the earth. Watch and expect the third generation to come in, hounded by the prayers of their grandmothers.



As Christmas is approaching, I hear the angels singing over this third generation, "Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go. We'll be home with bells on."

There's a "Super Moon" EVERY YEAR - nothing prophetic about it.


What This Week's 'Super Moon' Means Prophetically

This week, on December 3, we will see the brightest "super moon" of 2017.



A "super moon" occurs when the moon is at its closest to Earth during its full moon phase. Because of the elliptical orbit of the moon, its distance from Earth normally varies between 225,800 and 252,000 miles, and a "super moon" normally occurs about twice a year. This super moon, however, occurs when the Earth is near its closest point to the sun and the sun's gravity moves the moon to about 4,000 miles closer to the earth. As a result, the moon appears to be 7 percent larger and 16 percent brighter than an average full moon.



Because it is the closeness to the sun that causes the giant super moons, they occur in the period surrounding Jan. 2, when the Earth is closest to the sun. It is during this time period, from November to February, when the super moons will occur in the zodiac signs which tell of the return and triumph of Jesus. Thus, the extraordinary bright Jan. 26, 1948, super moon was located in Cancer (the holding place), the sign of the home of God's people (heaven). Later that year the nation of Israel, the home of God's people the Jews on Earth, declared its independence. A little over a year later came the Blood Moon tetrad of 1949 and 1950 which signaled the beginning of the revivals of Billy Graham and others (See our book The Mystery of the Blood Moons).



This year's super moon, while not rivaling the super moon of 1948, does bring an unusual event. The moon is located in the constellation Taurus (The Bull), which is the sign of the second coming of Christ. Skywatchers in the northwestern U.S., Alaska and Asia will see the super moon cover the Bright Star Aldebaran (the governor), a picture of Christ as He returns to Earth to rule in power. This coming together of the moon, symbolic of the believers (Ps. 89:37) and Aldebaran, symbolic of Christ, is reminiscent of the great American eclipse, where the moon and the sun, representing Christ (Ps. 19:4-5), came together to invite believers to repent and return to the presence of God. (See our book Teshuvah Eclipses).


The invitation symbolized by the eclipse and the super moon to unite with Christ and with believers in Christ, as Jesus prayed in John 17:20-22, is still open. And the revival which comes from unity, prayed by Jesus in John 17:23 and signified by the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, has already begun.



Like the super moon shines brighter when it is closest to the sun, so the church shines brighter when it closest to the Son.

Prophecy: December Is the Month of Sudden, Supernatural Deployments

I was awakened at 3:00 am as the Lord began to speak to me. He said, "December is a month to receive sudden, supernatural deployments." These supernatural deployments may not be instant or happening in the same month, but the revelation of them is coming forth now! He also said, "Don't be shocked by the suddenness of these deployments."



The definition for the word "deploy" is to extend (a military unit) especially in width, to place in battle formation or appropriate positions deploying troops to the region, to spread out, utilize or arrange for a deliberate purpose.



Many of you have been on assignment, but I see the Father changing your orders. In the days to come, there will be seemingly sudden re-directs. Many will be caught off guard, but it is the Lord's doing. He is positioning those who have stayed the course into new commissions, new assignments, battlefield promotions. Macedonian call experiences will be routine at the end of this year as the Lord positions people in the right places and the right assignments.



I saw marching orders being given from heaven. Many will be surprised by where they are being dispatched and what is unfolding, but these are eternal plans. Many will be supernaturally extended in their assigned place and in their anointing, vision, purpose and calling. The Father has ordained these movements. The Lord is saying, "I am putting you in appropriate positions." There is coming sudden adjustments as He is directing those who have been out of position into their appropriate places. This is eternal strategy, sudden positioning. Hearts are being aligned with heavenly intent and purpose. We cannot be bound by or let the fear of man hold us back. God is literally arranging His people for deliberate purposes. The revelation and recalibration may seem sudden, but the plan is eternal.



Marching orders and deployment orders are coming through dreams and visions. Increased commissioning in dreams will be the norm as this is a high level apostolic-prophetic leading. A commission is a formal written warrant granting the power to perform various acts or duties, a certificate conferring military rank and authority, an authorization or command to act in a prescribed manner or to perform prescribed acts.



He said, "Hear now My word. If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord will make Myself known to him in a vision, and I will speak to him in a dream" (Num. 12:6).



The Lord says, "Pay attention to dreams and visions in the month of December. I am releasing a dream and vision mantle upon My people. They will begin to receive a supernatural GPS through these realms."



There are 4 Types of Prophetic Dream Encounters:



Warning Dreams.

These contain critical prophetic warnings. This is a Shamar dimension of the prophetic anointing. "But being warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they returned to their own country by another route" (Matt. 2:12).



Daybreak Dreams.

Prophetic imprints as you awaken. These are vivid prophetic encounters with vital messages.



"The seven thin ears devoured the seven plump and full ears. Then Pharaoh awoke and realized it was a dream. In the morning his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh" (Gen. 41:7-8).



Predictive Dreams.


Dreams that point to future events or a kairos moment. These hold instructions for something that is ahead. They are prophetic roadmaps for what is coming. One of the common mistakes with these is assuming it is for right now. In Genesis 37:2-5, Joseph was 17 when he shared his first dream.



He began serving Pharaoh at the age of 30. This was 13 years of waiting and many storms in between. The dream was still true. It had timings attached to it: "until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him" (Ps. 105:19).



Directional Dreams.

These are dreams that contain the wisdom of God. They contain a word of wisdom and the "how to" instructions. God is giving supernatural instruction through dreams. Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge; these dreams contain key pieces of vital information: "In a dream, a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumber on their bed, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction" (Job 33:15-16).



God said, "2018 will be a year of glory storms and a year of the apostolos, the apostolic anointing, coming into fullness and a greater measure."



This will be a year of apostolic expression, apostolic authority and apostolic sending. The church is being recalibrated and moving away from the Western mindset into a new wineskin of supernatural bases, hubs and headquarters. Many will shut down what they've been doing and birth something new. Many will relaunch and renovate their language and expression. Many worship leaders are going to renovate and relaunch their sound. As they relaunch, their sound will usher in a new era, a new dimension of the Spirit. We are coming back to the authority and power of the Book of Acts.. We are coming into the revelation of sending and sent.



The apostolic spirit is a sending spirit:



Apostles go.

Apostolic people go.

Apostolic ministries are on the go.

The dreams and encounters in this hour are the catalysts for movement. We are receiving orders from heaven for movement. As we begin to move in the Spirit, the Spirit of God will move through us. The authority of the Lord will move through us. The apostolic anointing will decree through us. The prophetic anointing will declare through us. The evangelistic anointing will demonstrate through us. The teaching anointing will explain through us. The pastoral anointing will shepherd through us. The travail anointing will pray through us. The helps anointing will serve through us. The government anointing will govern through us and the seven mountains of culture will be influenced by this apostolic generation.



We must heed the call and begin to move!


"After he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them" (Acts 16:10).

In the 120th year of Jubilee, the rapture would take place on Feast of First Fruits, Day of Trumpet, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles or Chanukkah. So if not Chanukkah, then next would be Feast of First Fruits between the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments. Some teachers teach that wrath refers to Trumpet and Bowl Judgments and others teach Bowl Judgments are the wrath. and still others teach the rapture can occur ten days before Armageddon. I go for the one year in advance of Armageddon. With Chanukkah being the start of the Trumpet Judgments, that may move the 6th Trumpet Judgment to Pentecost. Chrsitans teach that the rapture is before the 7 year tribulation because they do not want to go through the seals. They do not want to go through the first 3.5 years which we are in now especially in the Middle East. The Bible is written from a Middle East perspective so when it comes to the tribulation, you can not view it as to what is happening in America but you have to see it from what is happening in the Middle East which is Jihad of Jews and Christians. So in essence, everything that has been happening in the Middle East for the past ten years is a part of the tribulation, but it doubled in destruction beginning in 2009 with Obama and ISIS/ISIL..

My personal believe is the Day of the Lord began on the Day of Trumpet on Sept 20th, 2017 to keep with the full one year. Giza Pyramid line up occurred then on the Rabinic Day of Trumpet. Then we had the Sept 23rd Rev 12:1 sign that was on the Biblical Day of Trumpet. Day of Atonement (Sept 30) began the 120th Jubilee year from Creation. So now we wait for the rapture to occur.

(1 Thessalonians 5:21). God's Word further exhorts, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)



Sadly, for increasing numbers of believers who love to have their ears tickled, they "will not endure sound doctrine, but . . . heap to themselves teachers" (2 Timothy 4:3) who revel in stories of "third heaven visions" etc. which creates a lust for such things that makes them prey to every wind of teaching, leading to strong delusion (2 Thessalonians 2:11).

Prophetic Word: The Lord Is Extending a Christmas Dare to His People

This Christmas, the Lord is extending a dare to His people. "I dare you..." Dares from Heaven to Earth are not flippant. They're not like adolescent dares from our childhood peers, where the reward for our risk was a mere high five. When Heaven extends a dare, the Lord seeks to partner with a willing, obedient vessel in order to release something into the Earth. This year, the dare has everything to do with how we engage the spiritual airways during the Christmas season.



Is Christmas Magical?



No, there is no "magic of Christmas." I'm sure Disney and the Hallmark channel would disagree on this one. The reality is, yes, there is something unique and special in the air when the calendar shifts the nations into this time of year. Why? No magic; just Scripture coming to pass. Psalm 22:3 reminds us that God inhabits the praises of His people. Imagine what this looks like on a global scale!



While there are many factors that contribute to the so-called "magic" of Christmas, perhaps, the top contributor to the "different" atmosphere this time of year is the blatant declaration of truth concerning the Messiahship of Jesus Christ. This comes through the Christmas carols that are being released into the airways in coffee shops, malls and even gyms.



Consider these familiar lyrics:



"Glory to the newborn King!"



"King forever, ceasing never."



"Let Earth receive her King!"



"Jesus Christ our Savior was born on Christmas Day to save us all from Satan's power."



In the same way we encourage people not to "go through the motions" as they sing popular praise choruses, we must provide this same encouragement during Christmas season.



I believe the Lord has two assignments for us this Christmas: 1) Plug the power back in when it comes to our Christmas church gatherings and services, and 2) receive our assignments to partner with the intercessory declarations that are released over the airways through Christmas carols.



The Longing of Humanity ... at Christmas and Always



Christmas carols contain some of the most powerful intercessory decrees and revelation about Jesus. Why, then, does it feel like when Christian culture transitions over to the Christmas calendar, we often go into "showtime" mode. In our quest to genuinely help connect people with God, we sadly abandon the very One—the Holy Spirit—who is the only one who can legitimately bridge the gulf between lost mankind and a holy God.



In our attempts to provide "inoffensive" experiences for people to be exposed to Jesus, we often disconnect from the supernatural power of the Spirit. He is the only source that will ultimately satisfy the deep longing of everythirsty human heart. David recognized this in Psalm 63:1—we live in a "a dry and thirsty land with no water." Apart from an encounter with the living God, that's very true—there is no source of fulfillment for the cry of the human heart. And yet, even though nothing in the world can satisfy this longing, "there is a River."



Jesus announced in John 7 that there is a River residing within us. He's a Person called Holy Spirit, and He is meant to be released: "Out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water." (Jn. 7:38). The key word is "out." Out of you, out of me, out of this community called the church will flow the very life-giving, thirst-quenching water that has the potential to satisfy every desperate cry of a "dry and thirsty land."



If there was any time during the calendar year when the Holy Spirit should be moving with unusual power in our gatherings, it should be at Christmas. And yet, this is the very time where we tend to "mute" the supernatural in favor of something that will not offend "new people" or "people seeking a relationship with God." Have we forgotten that it's the Holy Spirit who bridges the gulf between lost humanity and God Almighty?



There is nothing wrong with our concerts and cantatas, productions and pageants.



Enjoy the candle lighting services and tree lighting events!



Preach the Christmas-themed sermon series throughout the month of December!



Integrate Christmas carols into the standard praise and worship sets.



But here is where heaven's dare comes in. It's as though when we start singing the "Christmas carols," we go into a different mode. Performance mode, maybe? Somehow, we see the Christmas carols as traditional fare of the season. We sing them with smiles on our faces and warmth in our hearts, sure, but little expectation of divine encounter. After all, "they're just Christmas carols." This is where we need to recapture the awe and wonder of the profound realities these carols announce!




Immediately, the Lord reminded me of a Gospel account that is comparable to what we face during the Christmas season today.



In Mark 6, Jesus comes to his hometown of Nazareth. On the Sabbath, He proceeds to teach in the synagogue. What an amazing scene: Nazareth was experiencing a divine visitation by the very Son of God! Consider the supernatural possibilities that were available to Nazareth because of the Presence of Jesus. And yet, Nazareth missed its moment of divine visitation.



Mark 6:2 says, "When the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, "Where did this Man get this? What is this wisdom that is given Him, that even miracles are done by His hands?"



We are meant to live astonished by the wonder of Jesus. Motivated by this level of awe, we would approach singing Christmas carols in a very different way. Rather than seasonal tradition, they would become impassioned anthems of praise. Awe and wonder incite genuine praise and worship and thus, create an atmosphere for God's power to move without restraint. On the other hand, familiarity pulls the plug on divine power. If only Nazareth stayed astonished by Jesus. If only we could stay astonished. What pulled the plug on divine power? In Nazareth back then, and for us today, the culprit is familiarity.



"Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?" And they took offense at Him. Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own relatives, and in his own house." He could not do any miracles there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He was amazed because of their unbelief." (Mark 6:3-6)



He wasn't the Son of God, the Miracle Worker, or even the Prophet of the Lord. He was "the carpenter, the Son of Mary." Unbelief didn't make Jesus less powerful; it simply prevented the community in Nazareth from having an appropriate level of expectation of what Jesus could do in their midst. Nazareth could have experienced a divine visitation. The dead could have been raised, the sick healed, and the demonized delivered. The Kingdom could have come with dynamic power to that community. It did and didn't. Jesus, the King of the kingdom, had come.



Unbelief doesn't change Jesus' nature; it simply prevents those who embrace familiarity from experiencing His power. Likewise, our religious, traditional, familiar approach to the Christmas season has the potential to pull out the plug of divine power. The Holy Spirit is powerful, period. Our unbelief or familiarity with Him does not change Him; it simply changes what we have the potential to experience from Him.



The airwaves are ripe with possibility. As it was in Nazareth, so it is today. Will we be apathetic or awakened? Familiar or fascinated?



What would happen if we sang a familiar carol like "O Holy Night," from a heart of awe and expectation, and the lyrics became manifestation? Could you even imagine a church service at Christmastime, where the entire congregation is gripped by the fear of the Lord and falls prostrate before the Presence of God during the carols?



What if the church fell to its knees as the people sang these lyrics in worshipful adoration?



What if the gathering became a "thin place," where Heaven and Earth interacted with increased ease and intensity?



What if we could literally hear "angel voices" and witness angelic activity in the midst of worshipping with these carols?



What if we declared the lyrics "Chains shall He break..." and "in His name all oppression shall cease," and people experienced divine healing and supernatural deliverance?



I believe God is daring His people to welcome His Spirit, engage the Christmas season with Kingdom expectation, and partner with the declarations being released over the airways.



Your Call to 'Boots-to-the-Ground' Intercession



You have influence in the environments you carry Holy Spirit into. Perhaps the greatest assignment the Lord extends to His people during this season, other than evangelism, is intercession. And it's boots on the ground intercession. We're not in some prayer chamber, isolated from the world. God wants His church right in the middle of where hurting people are. And where there are people, there are problems. There is torment. There is oppression. There is sickness. There is bitterness. There is family strife. There are broken marriages. There is seasonal depression. This is what people carry around with them into the environments you interact with every day.



What if the Christmas carols playing in the background became an opportunity for you to pray in agreement with the lyrics being sung? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you become a spiritual governor of the different atmospheres you come into contact with by: 1) hearing the lyrics being sung, 2) bringing your prayers into agreement with the lyrics and 3) asking Holy Spirit to show you how to partner with the truth being released through these carols to see His Kingdom come this Christmas.

And has been featured on Sid Roth's It's Supernatural. That alone should be a HUGE RED FLAG.

The author is quick to affirm, "No, there is no "magic of Christmas."



But then Sparks, VP of Destiny Image—the foremost promoter of all things mystical within evangelical pentecostalism—proceeds to tell us how to work real magic this season.



Sparks exhorts believers to "become a spiritual governor of the different atmospheres you come into contact with" and to "partner with the intercessory declarations that are released over the airways."



He suggests that we can "literally hear 'angel voices'" if we conduct and orchestrate our gatherings so that they become a "'thin place,' where Heaven and Earth interacted with increased ease and intensity."



Please tell me, where are the chapters and verses for these concepts? Geographical locations such as Sedona, AZ are such "thin places," according to shamans and gurus—but where did Paul or Christ instruct us in this?



Jesus declared he would be with us always; that he would leave us the Comforter; and that "neither height nor depth . . . can separate us from the love of God, because His presence is with us everywhere and at all times.



The problem with the author's advice is that such mystical concepts and techniques are not found in Scripture. But they are found in the occult, and in the New Age.



"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers" (2 Timothy 4:3)



Tragically, therefore, Sparks and his company are leading the church into the Hogwarts School of Christian Mysticism. But the real tragedy is that millions will flock to hear "angel voices" in the "thin spaces" of their own minds.

Prophecy: This Is a Season of Scattering Seed

I heard the Lord say, "There is a kingdom that scatters and yet increases."



God's People as Seeds



I saw God's people inside churches as seeds. I then saw God's hand reach down and pick up many of these seeds and begin to scatter them far and near into other fields of ministry and harvest. I sensed it was "seed-planting time" in the Spirit. Much of God's seed was being scattered by winds of adversity allowed by Him to send this seed places to be planted where they would not have gone on their own.



The strong winds that blew many seeds outside the house were used also to push many seeds inside—downward—into a deeper commitment to Him and to that house. Pastors became discouraged, for it seemed like it was a season of losing sheep from their fold.



It was actually God's way of scattering His seed as these winds were blowing inside the house. Seeds that remained in the house began to judge the seeds that were leaving. Some seeds that were leaving started to judge the seeds that were meant to stay behind. I heard the Lord say, "It is My seed—don't judge it. This is of Me, and it is marvelous in My eyes. My kingdom is bigger than a church!"



Some seed in churches that had grown roots downward over many years and had become like strong faithful trees giving shade and comfort to many—were actually uprooted by severe winds and carried away to be transplanted by the Spirit elsewhere, even into other churches that had no shade of a strong mature tree. Some seeds blew into the uttermost parts of the earth.

Prophetic Word: It's Time for the Silence Breakers to Roar!

This year, the Time magazine Person of the Year issue was not a single individual. Rather, it was a group of women called The Silence Breakers. These were the catalytic voices who began to boldly challenge the rampant, hideous sexual harassment taking place behind the scenes in the entertainment and media mountains.



However, the prophetic word is not about dealing with sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior (although this is definitely a positive thing). Also, this word does not endorse any of the views of the women represented on the cover. More than anything, I think the Lord is using the language written on this magazine to get our attention and open our eyes to something He is doing.



As I looked at the magazine cover, I sensed the Holy Spirit saying, "It's time for the silence breakers to roar. For it's the roar of the daughters of God that catalyze movement in the kingdom of God."



Holy Spirit outpouring is not complete unless both sons and daughters are prophesying, fulfilling their assignments. Joel prophetically pointed to a day where both the sons and daughters will prophesy (see Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17). Fulfillment initiated on the Day of Pentecost, but I believe we have not seen the fullness of this fulfillment or even a measure of fullness.



One of the key reasons is that for a long time, centuries even, the voice of the daughters was muted. It's hard to fathom that women only gained the right to voice in the early 20th century. The voice of Holy Spirit outpouring will always be muted compared to what it could be when the voice of the daughters is silent.



Compared to what the church could be operating in, we are basically walking in silence. The voice of the Ekklesia (the born again, Spirit-filled community of believers on planet Earth) was not meant to merely be used for the sake of protest and politicizing. Of course, we validly protest immorality, and appropriately engaged the political systems. But the church should be seen as far more than a group that's against everyone and everything. This is a mischaracterization, sure, but I believe the Lord is calling us to re-write the cultural narrative concerning the church.



The Lord is calling His church back to its original assignment, as outlined by Jesus in Matthew 16:18b-19): "And on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."



Jesus' church in Matthew 16 is not a building, organization or institution; it might operate in some of these contexts, sure, but the church Jesus introduced was a company of people grounded in the revelation of the Son of God, anointed by the Spirit of God, and empowered to advance the kingdom of God. It's illegal for darkness to be gaining ground against the church of Jesus Christ. If it is, we need to do an "about face" and prayerfully consider how the Spirit might be calling us back to the original design introduced by Jesus.

It will be sons and daughters in cooperation, not competition, declaring the decree of the Lord!



Why settle for silence when we can release the roar that establishes government in the spirit realm and pushes back the influence of darkness in the planet?

Beware Presumptuous Prophetic Pirates Who Parrot and Plagiarize Words

I've witnessed for many years a troubling trend in the prophetic movement—a trend that is proliferating among pontificating voices who parrot true prophets. Essentially, there's a lot of plagiarism in the prophetic.



This, mind you, is hardly a new trend. Jehovah God pointed it out thousands of years ago in Jeremiah 23:30:



"'Therefore,' declares the LORD, 'I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me'" (NIV). The New Living Translation puts it this way: "'Therefore," says the Lord, 'I am against these prophets who steal messages from each other and claim they are from me.'" The Holman Christian Standard Bible offers this spin: "'Therefore, take note! I am against the prophets'—the LORD's declaration—'who steal My words from each other.'"



What a declaration!



The Lord Is Against These Prophets



Noteworthy is the reality that God does not call them "false prophets." You would expect false prophets to pour out plagiarize prophecies—and I am quite sure they do. But the Lord did not call them false prophets.



It's been said imitation is the highest form of flattery. But to imitate someone's prophetic word as if you got it straight out of a "profound prophetic dream," a throne-room experience or a still small voice coming unto you saying isn't flattery. It's a falsehood.



While I know all too well that God speaks to many different prophetic voices about the exact same word, Scripture or theme, I am convinced prophetic plagiarists are acting like high-schoolers who didn't have time to read their literature assignment and are depending on Cliff Notes instead.



Why Do Prophets Plagiarize?



What is plagiarism, really? And why do prophetic pirates plagiarize? What motivates them?

Plagiarism is stealing and passing off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own: use (another's production) without crediting the source, according to Merriam-Webster. This dictionary also defines plagiarize as "to commit literary theft: present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source."



Here are five reasons prophetic voices parrot and plagiarize:



1. Pressure to prophesy abounds: The body of Christ largely has put such a demand on prophets to prophesy words Johnny-on-the-spot or to have some "new revelation" at the beginning of each month that some bow to the pressure and echo another voice pretending it was God's speaking directly to them.



2. Pride enters the prophetic flow: Prophetic pirates think people perceive them as so spiritual and would never consider the fact they lifted a word, cheated in the name of Jesus and otherwise compromised the gift in which they claim to flow.



3. Lazy bones breed lying prophets: Some prophets are too lazy to press into God for a pure prophetic word, so they lie about what they supposedly heard from the Lord. In reality, they heard it at a conference or on YouTube.



4. Low self esteem kills prophetic confidence: Some prophetic voices don't have enough confidence in what they are hearing from the Lord, so they parrot what they heard someone else say that impacted the saints.



5. Self-promotion puffs up: Prophetic scribes who get a big hit on the internet want to ride the wave but may not receive the consistent revelation they want, so they borrow inspiration from other, more obscure voices and make it their own.



Plagiarizing is akin to lying and stealing. Leviticus 19:11 (MEV) warns, "You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, or lie one to another." Prophetic pirates who shoplift prophetic words from the internet are dealing falsely, and that's one step toward false prophethood. We don't need Robin Hoods in the prophetic.



If you've been a prophetic pirate or parrot, repent. God wants to give you your own unique prophetic expression. You're more likely to hear something spectacular from God if you spend more time in His presence and less time listening to what others are prophesying.

Creating a Culture of Prophetic Dreaming in Your Home

Stacey Linsalata was present in my seminar last weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at Heartland Church. As I taught the adults on hearing God's voice, Stacey taught the children on how to overcome nightmares. I have asked Stacey to write a blog, so I could introduce her and her ministry resources to my friends.



Imagine this with me. Joseph goes to bed one night. Nothing unusual led up to what would unfold as he drifted off to sleep. The usual meal was served, the nightly dinnertime stories were told. We can't blame what would soon unfold on eating too much pizza before bed. That night Joseph has a dream. This wasn't the type of dream you just wake up from and shake off. This was the kind of dream that sticks, the kind that you're still thinking about days later, the kind that carries weight in your soul. I believe that is the kind of dream that Joseph had that night.



I know Joseph gets a bad rap sometimes for telling his brothers about his dreams too soon. But in his defense, these types of dreams are pretty hard to keep to yourself! However, here's the part of the story I want you to zoom into: Genesis 37:8. After Joseph shares his weighty dream with his brothers, his brothers reply with, "Will you really reign over us, or will you really have dominion over us?" Do you see the significance of their response? They didn't say, "Joseph, it was just another pizza dream, Bro!" Or, "What could this dream mean? We need to find someone gifted in dream interpretation and have them tell us the meaning!" Even worse, "It was just a dream, Joseph. Your imagination was going wild last night. It doesn't really mean anything." Instead, their response to Joseph's dream was the interpretation.



This doesn't happen by accident. This happened because a culture of dreaming had been created in Joseph's home. This shouldn't surprise us considering his father was Jacob, the same Jacob who dreamed of the ladder going to heaven and angels ascending and descending on it (Gen. 28:12). I have no doubt in my mind that Jacob sat around the table with his sons, discussing dreams that he had and how God had interpreted them for him. I can even imagine his sons saying, "Dad, do we have to hear the ladder dream again!" However, recalling dreams and encounters like this were most likely a regular part of their dinner conversations at the earliest ages of Jacob's children. I bet he even passed down dreams that must have been told to him by his Grandpa Abraham. Because a culture of dreaming had been created in Jacob's home, his children were now able to respond to dreams with their interpretations.



This story is what drives my passion: to restore the lost art of dreaming in our homes. And, this passion is what led me to write Culture of Dreaming—A Family Workbook. I wanted to provide busy families with a practical way they could slow down each night and stir up a passion for dreaming in their homes. This is a testimony that came to me after a family completed a one-week sample of Culture of Dreaming:


"Stacey! I am loving the lessons and so are my kids (ages 7 and 9). My son was over the moon when God spoke 'I shield you' on his whiteboard. Prophecy for 2018: Metamorphosis—Radical Change Is Coming

I heard the Lord say, "A metamorphosis is underway. I will bring the change I've promised, first little by little and then an outward manifestation of an inner working I have been doing in My people. That metamorphosis will spill out from the spirits of My people into the spheres they influence in the seven mountains.



"Transformed business leaders will see their companies as ministry hubs. Transformed politicians will see their cities as congregations. Transformed cities will see mass salvations. I am calling those who have struggled in past seasons to make one more push because that last push will birth something in you and through you like the world has never seen and like nothing you could even imagine.



"I have allowed you to go through struggles—through suffering—so that I could use you as a compassionate change agent in the earth. You have authority. You have influence. You have power. I see widespread metamorphosis. I see metamorphosis in people, in companies, in churches and in societies. The metamorphosis is coming out of an intense struggle in the hearts and minds of people.


Metamorphosis is even coming out of church splits and past moral failures in leadership. And it's coming from a changing of the guard in cities, states and nations. Many will come to realize the reality of Genesis 50:20 and Romans 8:28 in 2018 and in the years that follow.



Genesis 5:20 teaches this important principle: what the enemy meant for evil, God will work for good to save many. And Romans 8:28 promises us when we love Him and pray, He will work even the most horrific situations into something that benefits us and His purpose for our lives.

Prophesying a Season of Immediatelies

You hear a lot of prophecies about suddenlies. I've prophesied suddenlies myself. But the Lord showed me another dimension of His moving—immediatelies.



We see the concept of "immediately" well over 100 times in Scripture—and there's a marked difference between a suddenly and an immediately.



A suddenly is a "happening, coming, made, or done quickly, without warning, or unexpectedly," according to Dictionary.com, while an immediately is "without lapse of time; without delay; instantly; at once."



When it comes to moves of God—God's intervention in my life—I'll take either. But I'd prefer an immediately—a miracle. You might say suddenlies are good, but immediatelies are better when you need prayer answers!


Of course, there are also demonic immediatelies and our own immediatelies to explore. There are immediate threats, immediate prophetic fulfillments, immediate spiritual shifts and more.

God forgive me I IF I sound condescending. I hear or have heard for years now and months the following, "we are in a season of " or the month or next month God is ?? Sorry I got sick of it. Maybe God is just talking to hear himself talk ?? From 2012 to this day it like life, good days bad days. Let's get a word that's special and specific.

Every time I read these kinds of 'word's, I can't help but to think they are coming from a cult-like place. Secret words with obscure, nonsensical meaning that only insiders understand. Very concerning. I've been a charismatic Christian for 34 years now, a teacher for over 20 years, and I'm seriously concerned about the leadership of our movement. We've lost all sense of grounding in sound theology and understanding of Scripture. We seem to live in a fantasy world of weird prophesies and bizarre signs and wonders. Thankfully, much of the embarrassing claims around gold dust, angel feathers, gems and the like have subsided in recent years with many fakers having been exposed and people realizing how gullible they were to be so easily deceived. Now we need to hold these so-called apostles and prophets accountable. Just stop with the nonsense. Stop using invented concepts to convey generalities so wide you can claim fulfillment to prove your status later. It's time to stand up and demand repentance from these leaders who are mocking God and His gifts.

But Cindy has the corner on 'suddenlies' so Jennifer had to come up with another word so as not to 'parrot' Cindy. Let's see she thought, how about 'atoncelies' 'prontolies,' 'instantlies,' I need something immediately! she thought.

I know another woman whose promoted as a prophetess who comes into town with so called words. She always parrots what's on charisma or Elijah list. Even her teachings. She doesn't realize some of us are tuned in and aware of the incestuous nature of these messages, all coming from the same source. Charisma has become a conduit for these messages. That's the reason I visit here and post messages, to hopefully deliver messages and feedback to the authors for them to think and pray about.

Prophetic Warning: It's Time to Purge the Prophetic of the Counterfeited Counterfeit

As a young Christian, I remember driving by establishments featuring the words, "psychics" and "tarot cards" in glowing neon in windows and storefronts, and I remember, for lack of a better word, feeling agitated at the sight of these places. I was not agitated with the individuals operating in this realm so much as I was the very existence of this perversion of the prophetic. Looking back, I understand that my agitation was in large part a reaction to this counterfeit of the prophetic ministry, and it was tied to my calling as a prophetic voice.



Imagine my surprise and naivete when I discovered and continue to discover that this counterfeit realm operates among those who profess to know Jesus Christ, and sadly, many are deceived by darkness masquerading as light. I do not pretend to believe that this is a pleasant word. What is to follow is a difficult word, but it is an issue that must be addressed in the body of Christ, and my goal is to share the truth of the Word of God and the heart of the Father on the matter. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, and we need Him to guide us into all truth (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:13).



The Counterfeited Counterfeit

In our current spiritual climate, there are many things occurring in the name of revival and Jesus Christ. Some things are within our comfort zone and understanding while other things really stretch us and challenge us. I do not pretend to have all the answers. However, when there are professed Christians taking tools utilized by the kingdom of darkness and morphing them into tools with a similar purpose but a different branding, that is a slippery slope racing to the finish line of witchcraft while preaching another Christ.



As I meditated on some things swirling in the prophetic climate right now involving this very thing, the words "counterfeited counterfeit" came to me. According to Merriam-Webster, counterfeit is "something made in imitation of something else with intent to deceive." The only things counterfeited are things of value. This is why the devil counterfeits the prophetic with such things as psychics, necromancers, horoscopes, tarot cards, astroprojection, and so on. He understands the value of authentic prophetic ministry and the office of a genuine prophet, and when the body of Christ shies away from the spirit of prophecy, he is glad to oblige the longing of people to experience the supernatural, even if it a perversion of the real deal.



The problem now is the darkness pervading the prophetic through those who willingly use the same tools with a different spin on them. Emotions and the soulish realm gauge the authenticity of the encounter instead of the gauge being the Word of God. It is a skewed form of godliness, but denying its power (2 Tim. 3:5). The power is not in the prophecy itself, but the relationship with Jesus Christ and the revelation of His heart. What happens when those professing to be part of the body of Christ counterfeit the imitation? The result is a counterfeit of a counterfeit. The result is another step away from the right Spirit, the Holy Spirit. The result is people without proper discernment being led astray by those who are also without proper discernment. A tainted prophetic flow gives the enemy what he has always wanted from the beginning: worship and exaltation.



Cleansing the Prophetic Flow Through the Word


The Lord desires a pure prophetic flow from His bride. Cleansing comes by the washing of water with the Word (Eph. 5:26). The Holy Spirit is the living water that should flow out of us. Understand that in the body of Christ, we are to judge within the church (1 Cor. 5:12). It is contradictory to the Word of God to say otherwise. We are to examine the fruit of a professed believer's life and judge it according to the Word of God. We are called upon to not believe every spirit but to test the spirits and to determine if the spirit is of God (1 John 4:1).



2 Corinthians 11:4 speaks of tolerating another Jesus or a different spirit or gospel than the one proclaimed by the true apostles. This is disturbing, and this is what is happening in the body when tools of the devil are welcomed into the place reserved for the Lord. Strange fire ensues, and division comes on the embers of divination. God wants His body operating in unity of the faith and of the knowledge of His Son. He wants us mature and not carried off by every wind of doctrine tainted with human cunning and deceitful schemes (Eph. 4:13-14).



As prophetic people, we must operate in a pure flow. We must reclaim what the enemy has perverted while using wisdom and proper discernment to not muddy the waters with his schemes and devices. We are mandated to manifest the kingdom of God. We are not mandated to counterfeit the darkness in the name of Christ. There is no inheritance in another Christ. I urge you in this hour to pray and intercede for those who are deceived by the tools of the devil, especially those who claim to know Jesus Christ. Pray that a holy conviction would come upon those who are seduced by the angel of light. Search your own heart and ask the Lord to cleanse you and to reveal any area of deception. I believe that a cleansing is upon the body of Christ, particularly the prophetic voices, and this cleansing only comes through the Word of God and the blood of Jesus. Holy Spirit, guide us into all truth!

Two things strike me about this.

The first, I've been witness to the problem Sister Hill refers to and it is a very big one. The spiritual solution is to let the tares grow with the wheat while I try to get the beam out of my own eye.

Well, the Crapisma website is up and running again, and here's Jenny LeClaire spewing some more pseudo-Christian nonsense.  I find this "article" particularly ironic, seeing as Crapisma is "False Prophet Central" with  Jenny at the helm!       I don't know if this "article" is more funny or pitiful - the woman is truly deluded and thinks she's a prophet.  She quotes Jeremiah, yet he - a genuine prophet of God - was speaking of her and her ilk, but she's too blind to see it, yet anyone with even a modicum of spiritual discernment can read what she's written and recognize how to pertains to her.

Ichabod prophets hide in caves to escape the persecution and whine on the Internet when people don't accept their prophetic utterances. 

Ichabod prophets stay in attack mode, tearing down what God is building, because they have no glory revelation from which to edify, comfort and exhort the body. Beware Ichabod prophets.



I didn't expect such a strong reaction when I penned that post on Facebook earlier this month. Some didn't know what an Ichabod prophet was. Others offered a hearty "amen." Still others manifested their Ichabod-ness.



What is an Ichabod prophet? We find mention of Ichabod in 1 Samuel 4:19-21.



"His daughter-in-law, Phinehas' wife, was pregnant, about to give birth. And when she heard the news that the ark of God was taken, and that her father-in-law and her husband were dead, she kneeled down and gave birth, for her pains came upon her. About the time of her death the women that stood by her said to her, 'Do not fear, for you have borne a son.' But she did not answer or regard it. She named the child Ichabod, saying, 'The glory is departed from Israel,' because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father-in-law and her husband."



The translation of Ichabod is somewhat debated. Some theologians say it simply means "no glory." Others say the name actually poses a question: "Where is the glory?" The question, of course, suggests the glory is nowhere to be found. Yet another translator offers the meaning, "Alas! The glory," an expression of bitter sorrow that God's glory is absent.



1. Ichabod prophets do not carry a strong revelation of the Father's heart.



Ichabod prophets are missing a deep revelation of the glory of God—the goodness of God—so they prophesy harsh words, judgements with no room for repentance, curses on people and nations and celebrate when their witchcraft comes to pass. They may even trumpet an intimacy message, but bitterness supersedes a glory revelation.



2. Ichabod prophets hide in caves when Jezebel attacks because they fear man more than they fear God.



First Kings 18:4 tells us, "When Jezebel killed the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them in groups of fifty in a cave and fed them with bread and water." Glory dwellers don't hide in caves. Ichabod prophets hide in caves to escape the persecution and whine on the Internet when people don't accept their prophetic utterances.



3. Ichabod prophets are yes-men. They flatter people in authority with prophetic words that bring them personal advancement.

First Kings 22:6-12 says, "Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, approximately four hundred men, and said to them, 'Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I wait?' And they said, 'Go up, for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.' But Jehoshaphat said, 'Is there not a prophet of the Lord here whom we can ask?'



"And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, 'There is still one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we can inquire of the Lord. But I hate him because he never prophesies good for me, but always evil.' And Jehoshaphat said, 'Let not the king say so.' Then the king of Israel called an officer and said, 'Quickly, bring Micaiah son of Imlah.'



"The king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah each put on his robes and sat on his throne at the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets prophesied before them. Zedekiah the son of Kenaanah made horns of iron and said, 'Thus says the Lord: With these you shall push the Arameans until you have consumed them.' All the prophets prophesied similarly, saying, 'Go up to Ramoth Gilead and prosper, for the Lord will deliver it into the king's hand.'"



Micaiah offered a true word of the Lord and went to prison for it. That's the opposite of the Ichabod prophets Obadiah hid in a cave, hiding from Jezebel.



4. They prophesy what the party line wants to hear.



Ichabod prophets deal falsely and are greedy. They prophesy unto popularity. Jeremiah 6:13-14 says, "For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, everyone is given to covetousness. And from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely. They have healed also the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace."



5. Ichabod prophets prophesy without an unction.



Jeremiah 23:21 says, "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied." If God is not speaking, prophets should not be talking in His name. Ichabod prophets speak anyway.
