Classified documents from Biden’s time as VP discovered in private office
By Jamie Gangel, Marshall Cohen, Evan Perez and Phil Mattingly, CNN For real? It took FOUR people to write this one little article? Updated 8:21 PM EST, Mon January 9, 2023 Several classified documents from President Joe Biden’s time as vice president were discovered last fall in a private office, Biden’s attorneys acknowledged Monday. Attorney General Merrick Garland has asked the US attorney in Chicago to investigate the matter, a source familiar with the matter tells CNN, and congressional Republicans are also taking notice. Biden’s lawyers say they found the government materials in November while closing out a Washington, DC-based office – the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement – that Biden used as part of his relationship with the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an honorary professor from 2017 to 2019. Fewer than a dozen classified documents were found at Biden’s office, another source told CNN. It is unclear what the documents pertain to or why they were taken to Biden’s private office. Federal officeholders are required by law to relinquish official documents and classified records when their government service ends. “The White House is cooperating with the National Archives and the Department of Justice regarding the discovery of what appear to be Obama-Biden Administration records, including a small number of documents with classified markings,” Richard Sauber, special counsel to President Biden, said in a statement. “The documents were discovered when the President’s personal attorneys were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C. The President periodically used this space from mid-2017 until the start of the 2020 campaign. On the day of this discovery, November 2, 2022, the White House Counsel’s Office notified the National Archives. The Archives took possession of the materials the following morning.” “The discovery of these documents was made by the President’s attorneys,” Sauber added. “The documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives. Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives.” CBS News first reported on the documents. At a summit in Mexico City on Monday evening, Biden ignored shouted questions from reporters on the classified documents. Garland, also attending the summit, was seated to the President’s left. A senior administration official traveling with Biden says the issue won’t be a distraction.. “Nothing has changed in his schedule,” the official said. “He’s focused on the summit and meeting with our closest neighbors.” The classified materials included some top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” designation, also known as SCI, which is used for highly sensitive information obtained from intelligence sources. After the discovery, Biden’s lawyers immediately contacted the National Archives and Records Administration, which started looking into the matter, the source said. Biden’s team cooperated with NARA, which later came to view the situation as a mistake due to lack of safeguards for documents, the source said. In November, NARA sent a referral to the Justice Department to look into the matter, a source with knowledge of the situation told CNN. The US attorney in Chicago, John Lausch Jr., is investigating. Lausch was one of the rare Trump-era holdovers who wasn’t asked to resign after Biden’s inauguration. He was appointed by Trump in 2017 and unanimously confirmed by the Senate. Illinois’ two Democratic senators said in 2021 that they wanted Lausch to remain at his top post “to conclude sensitive investigations,” though they didn’t reveal what probes he was working on. Political fallout The discovery of the materials come as special counsel Jack Smith is investigating former President Donald Trump for potentially mishandling classified records at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Federal investigators have recovered at least 325 classified documents from Trump as part of their inquiry. Republicans are already asking questions of Biden. “President Biden has been very critical of President Trump mistakenly taking classified documents to the residence or wherever and now it seems he may have done the same,” said GOP Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, who is set to become the House Oversight Chairman. “How ironic.” Comer pointed out that the National Archives falls under his committee’s jurisdiction for oversight but said when they, while in the minority, sent NARA questions related to former Trump, NARA referred Republicans to the Justice Department. “Maybe they’ll answer our questions now because it pertains to two presidents,” Comer said, adding he plans to ask the archives for more information later this week. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy didn’t say whether he believes the new GOP Congress should investigate Biden, but said the reaction to Trump holding onto classified documents has been driven by politics. “I just think it goes to prove what they tried to do to President Trump overplayed their hand on that,” McCarthy said. “They’ve been around even longer,” McCarthy said of Biden’s team. “President Trump had never been in office before and had just left, came out. Here’s an individual (who) spent his last 40 years in office.” McCarthy added: “It just shows that they were trying to be political with President Trump.” Differences between document discoveries The Trump documents saga emerged in a different way than the Biden situation, however. According to Biden’s attorneys, they turned over the classified materials and notified NARA as soon as they were discovered. With Trump, NARA realized that key records were missing, and NARA officials haggled with Trump’s team over the return of government documents. Trump eventually gave 15 boxes of materials back to NARA. But federal investigators later came to correctly suspect that he was still holding onto dozens of additional classified files. So, DOJ prosecutors secured a grand jury subpoena and later got a judge’s permission to search Mar-a-Lago, to find the documents. Ever since the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago in August – a search that uncovered dozens of additional classified files – Trump has promoted wild and unfounded allegations about his predecessors’ supposed mishandling of government records. The news about classified records turning up at Biden’s private office is sure to provide new fodder to Trump, who has already announced his 2024 presidential bid. On Truth Social, Trump wrote: “When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified.” Biden was critical of Trump when he saw the photograph taken by the FBI that showed an array of documents found on Trump’s property last summer. “How that could possibly happen? How one – anyone could be that irresponsible?” Biden said. “And I thought what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? By that I mean names of people who helped or, et cetera. … totally irresponsible.” CNN contributor and former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who served on the House select committee investigating January 6, said Monday that the investigation may blow some of the political headwinds away from Trump. “The only thing that’s needed right now by the former president is to be able to throw doubt and say, ‘look, this happened, too,’” Kinzinger told Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s “The Situation Room.” “So from a political perspective, this is actually probably pretty bad. Not just for the president, but really for the idea of getting justice through the political system.” Kinzinger speculated that the investigation into Biden will come down to who on the former vice president’s staff handled the documents and whether holding onto the documents was intentional or an accident. “There’s going to be nuances,” Kinzinger said. “I’ll tell you, the U.S. Attorney in Chicago is a very fair man, Mr. Lausch, and so I think we can trust his word.” link

“When is the FBI Going to Raid the Many Homes of Joe Biden?” Trump Responds to Reports of Classified Documents Found at Penn Biden Center
By Cristina Laila Published January 9, 2023 at 7:20pm President Trump on Tuesday responded to reports Joe Biden illegally stored top-secret classified documents at Penn Biden Center. The Justice Department is looking into classified documents from Joe Biden’s time as Vice President discovered at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in DC. According to CNN, Joe Biden’s attorneys discovered the classified documents in the private office which included top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” (SCIF) designation LAST FALL just days before the midterm elections. According to CBS News, Attorney General Merrick Garland assigned US Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch (a Trump appointee) to review the documents. “When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified.” Trump said. truthsocial.com/@realdonaldtrump/posts/109661904369525194The FBI raided Trump’s Florida residence over the summer. Machine-gun toting agents posted up at Mar-a-Lago while the FBI rummaged through Trump’s home looking for classified documents. The Washington Post recently reported (after the midterms) that the DOJ believes Trump took his White House records to Mar-a-Lago as ‘mementos.’ WaPo reported that Trump never intended to sell or use the documents as leverage. Of course we have known this the entire time and WaPo is finally admitting the FBI raid was all a political ploy. link

Joe Biden Ignores Reporter Asking About Classified Documents Stored at Penn Biden Center (VIDEO)
By Cristina Laila Published January 9, 2023 at 8:05pm Remember when Joe Biden said Trump was “irresponsible” for storing classified documents at Mar-a-Lago? “How does that happen? How anyone can be that irresponsible”” Biden said on “60 Minutes” last September. “I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? And by that, I mean, names of people who help etc., and it’s just totally irresponsible.” WATCH: It turns out Joe Biden stored top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” (SCIF) designation at Penn Biden Center in DC. “The roughly 10 documents are from President Biden’s vice-presidential office at the center, the sources said. CBS News has learned the FBI is also involved in the U.S. attorney’s inquiry.” CBS News reported. Attorney General Merrick Garland assigned US Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch (a Trump appointee) to review the documents. Joe Biden on Monday declined to answer a question about the classified documents during a meeting with Mexican President Manuel Lopez Obrador. “Any response to the discovery of classified documents at your office?” a reporter shouted. Biden smirked as his handlers herded the press out of the room. WATCH: link

Classified documents found at Biden’s namesake think tank
By Victor Nava January 9, 2023 7:09pm Updated The Justice Department is looking into how a handful of classified documents from President Biden’s time as vice president ended up at the DC think tank that bears his name, the White House confirmed Monday night. “A small number” of sensitive documents from the 80-year-old Biden’s time as Barack Obama’s No. 2 were located less than a week before last year’s midterm elections at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. The material was discovered by Biden’s personal lawyers on Nov. 2, 2022 while they “were packing files housed in a locked closet to prepare to vacate office space,” according to a statement from Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president. Sauber said that Biden used the office space from “mid-2017 until the start of the 2020 campaign” in April 2019. Classified documents from President Joe Biden’s time as vice president ended up at the DC think tank that bears his name, the White House confirmed Monday night. CBS News reported that Attorney General Merrick Garland has tasked Chicago US Attorney John Lausch, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, to review the materials and the FBI is also involved in the investigation. The documents were reportedly stored in a folder inside a box of other unclassified papers. The closet they were pulled out of was reportedly inside a private office that belonged to Biden, CNN reports. The classified materials reportedly included top-secret files designated “sensitive compartmented information,” or SCI, meaning the highly sensitive information was obtained from intelligence sources, according to CNN. The papers did not contain nuclear secrets, according to CBS. Sauber said that the White House counsel’s office informed the National Archives about the documents on the same day they were found and the agency took possession of the materials the next day. “The documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives,” he said. “Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives.” All presidential and vice-presidential documents must be turned over to the National Archives at the conclusion of a presidency, according to the Presidential Records Act of 1978. A special counsel could be appointed to probe the matter further after Lausch’s preliminary review. During a “60 Minutes” interview with Scott Pelley in September of last year, Biden ripped Trump as “totally irresponsible” for keeping classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago club and residence. “When you saw the photograph of the top-secret documents laid out on the floor at Mar-a-Lago, what did you think to yourself? Looking at that image,” Pelley asked Biden. “How that could possibly happen,” the president answered. “How one – anyone could be that irresponsible. And I thought what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? By that I mean names of people who helped or – et cetera. And it just – totally irresponsible.” Federal authorities have recovered some 300 classified documents from the Trump presidency at Mar-a-Lago and other storage sites since January 2021, spurring a federal criminal investigation into violations by Trump and his associates of the Presidential Records Act. Biden ignored questions from reporters on the classified documents during his summit with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopex Obrador in Mexico City on Monday. Garland was also present at the summit and was seated next to the president. Trump alleged on social media Monday that the documents Biden kept at the think tank were “definitely not declassified.” “When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. The Penn Biden Center think tank was founded in 2018 and is affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania. The center purports to be “completely independent of the Biden administration.” Biden earned nearly $1 million from the University of Pennsylvania to be an honorary professor from 2017 to 2019, despite appearing rarely at the Ivy League school. The school has raked in millions in anonymous donations from China since putting Biden’s name on the think tank, including $15.8 million in Chinese gifts in 2017 and one staggering $14.5 million donation in May 2018, records show. The University of Pennsylvania has received a total of $54.6 million in donations from China between 2014 and 2019, The Post reported in April of 2022. A spokesman for the institution denied that any anonymous Chinese money had gone to the Penn Biden Center. “The Penn Biden Center has never solicited or received any gifts from any Chinese or other foreign entity. In fact, the University has never solicited any gifts for the Center,” Stephen MacCarthy told The Post last year. The incoming GOP head of the House Oversight Committee called Biden’s handling of classified materials “ironic,” given the commander-in-chief’s criticism of Trump. John R. Lausch Jr. John R. Lausch Jr., United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. AP/Charles Rex Arbogast “President Biden has been very critical of President Trump mistakenly taking classified documents to the residence or wherever and now it seems he may have done the same,” Rep. James Comer of Kentucky told CNN, adding, “How ironic.” Comer noted that the National Archives falls under the Oversight Committee’s jurisdiction but said the agency wasn’t forthcoming with information related to Trump’s handling of classified documents, referring questions from the committee to the DOJ. “Maybe they’ll answer our questions now because it pertains to two presidents,” Comer said. The Kentucky Republican also told reporters on Monday that he plans to send a letter to the White House counsel and the National Archives asking for information into Biden’s handling of classified materials, but that he thought it was unlikely the president did anything wrong. “In our research, every president accidentally took some documents that may or may not be classified, and they were never raided by the FBI. So now we find out that Biden did the same thing for six years? I wonder is the White House going to be raided tonight by Archives or the FBI?” said Comer. In a tweet on Monday, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee flagged the report of Biden’s possible mishandling of classified material with more than a dozen sirens. Like Comer, Rep. Tony Nehls (R-Texas) also asked, “When will the FBI raid his home?” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) called for “nonstop” investigations into Biden and his family upon learning of the discovery of the documents at the Penn Biden Center. “Oh, my gosh. I think we need to investigate the Bidens nonstop. I’ve been very vocal on impeaching Joe Biden and hopefully we can get that done this Congress,” Greene told Fox News link

Trump On The China Connection To Classified Documents Found At Biden’s Private Office – “How Much More Information Has China Been Given?”
By ProTrumpNews Staff Published January 10, 2023 at 4:15pm Joe Biden’s ties to China is a major conflict of interest. Donald Trump took to Truth Social to tie the story of the classified document found at the Penn Biden center to China. Truth Social: The amount was 54 Million Dollars that the Biden Think Tank received from China. That’s a lot of money. They saw the Classified Documents! He then asked, “How much more information has China been given?” Truth Social: Wow! The Biden Think Tank is funded by CHINA!!! Also, a V.P. cannot Declassify documents, which are covered by the Federal Records Act, which is Criminal and MUCH TOUGHER than the Presidential Records Act, which is NOT Criminal. A President, me, can Declassify. How much more information has China been given? The Penn Biden Center is affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania. Millions have been donated from China to the University of Pennsylvania. Between 2014 and 2019 $54.6 million went from China to the University – most of these donations came after the Biden Center was announced. A lot of those donations were “anonymous.” The New York Post reported(2022): A government watchdog is demanding the US attorney probing Hunter Biden in Delaware investigate tens of millions in anonymous donations from China to the University of Pennsylvania, where an academic center is named for his father, President Biden. The Ivy League college raked in a total of $54.6 million from 2014 through June 2019 in donations from China, including $23.1 million in anonymous gifts starting in 2016, according to public records. Most of the anonymous donations came after the university announced in February 2017 that it would create the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Joe Biden, whose term as vice president had just ended, was to lead the center and was also named a professor at the university. The Ivy League university received $15.8 million in anonymous Chinese gifts that year, including one eye-popping $14.5 million donation in May 2018, records show. Did China see these documents? link

Report: Joe Biden’s Mishandled Classified Documents Include Intel Materials Related to Iran, Ukraine
WENDELL HUSEBØ 10 Jan 2023 Joe Biden’s mishandled classified documents at the University of Pennsylvania’s “think tank” include intelligence materials related to Iran and Ukraine, according to CNN. Among the documents Biden stashed at the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the university were at least ten documents with classified markings on them. The classified documents were dated between 2013 and 2016 and reportedly contain classified intelligence inflation about Iran, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. Also in the documents were records pertaining to the Biden family business, including Beau Biden’s funeral preparations. Biden’s stash of sensitive documents at the University of Pennsylvania’s “think tank” raises national security concerns. Anonymous Chinese donations have reportedly been given to a University of Pennsylvania “think tank,” where Biden stored the sensitive documents. Sensitive documents found in the trove related to Ukraine raise additional concerns. The Biden family has had many business dealings in Ukraine. “The documents were discovered on November 2, just six days before the midterm elections, but the matter only became public Monday due to news reports,” CNN reports. In 2017, Hunter Biden was paid $83,000 per month to be on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company. That same year, Hunter’s salary was cut in half when Joe Biden left the White House as then-Vice President Joe Biden, who visited Ukraine six times in seven years. Hunter was appointed to the board of Burisma in 2014. He had no prior experience with the energy sector or Ukraine. In 2015, Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion from Ukraine if the Ukrainian government did not fire the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. According to Breitbart News’s senior contributor Peter Schweizer, Hunter earned great sums of money from Ukraine for which he “offered no real work.” In 2018 and 2020, Schweizer published Secret Empires and Profiles in Corruption. Each book hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and exposed how Hunter and his father flew to China aboard Air Force Two in 2013 before Hunter’s firm inked a $1.5 billion deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China, which transpired less than two weeks after the trip. Schweizer’s work also uncovered the Biden family’s other vast and lucrative foreign deals and cronyism. Breitbart Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris’s investigative work at the New York Post regarding the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” also captured international headlines when she, along with Miranda Devine, revealed that the president was intimately involved in Hunter’s businesses, appearing to even have a ten percent stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party. link

Big Media Claim Biden’s Mishandling of Classified Documents is ‘Different’ from Trump’s Case
WENDELL HUSEBØ 10 Jan 2023 The establishment media are claiming President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents being kept at UPenn is different than former President Donald Trump’s incident of allegedly keeping classified documents at Mar-a-Lago — taking pains to call Biden’s case “smaller scale.” While Trump’s incident culminated in the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Largo and a special counsel investigation, no such measures have been taken by Biden’s Justice Department in the case of Biden’s mishandling of classified documents. The media have refused to acknowledge the double standard, despite Biden’s mishandling of classified national security information. CNN’s Stephen Collinson claimed Biden’s incident “appears to be on a smaller scale than the more than 100 classified documents.” Collinson also suggested that Biden was appearing to cooperate with the Justice Department while Trump did not, a point disputed by the former president. The Washington Post’s Tyler Pager, Devlin Barrett, Jacqueline Alemany, and Perry Stein claimed Biden’s incident was less concerning because Biden’s attorney, Richard Sauber, discovered the president’s mishandling of sensitive documents and “voluntarily” gave them to Biden’s DOJ. “Sauber said the Biden documents were discovered by the president’s lawyers and voluntarily turned over to authorities,” the Post’s reporters wrote, alleging the maneuver “could factor heavily in whether the Biden documents become a criminal matter.” Politico’s Josh Gerstein defended Biden by pointing to three alleged distinctions between Biden’s and Trump’s cases. Gerstein claimed Biden’s mishandling of documents was not serious because the documents are small in number, that the documents were not in safe keeping at a residence, and that it is not unusual “for small numbers of emails or documents that are classified to get mixed in with unclassified records.” Gerstein did not mention that anonymous Chinese donations have reportedly been given to a University of Pennsylvania “think tank,” where Biden stored the sensitive documents. Politico Playbook also dismissed Biden’s mistake as simply the latest conservative narrative the new Republican House will use to discredit the president. “ n the opening days of the new Republican House, you couldn’t have a more striking reminder of why the majority — and the ability that comes with it to ask questions, drive a narrative and otherwise keep a story in the news — matters,” the morning newsletter read.
Meanwhile, critics have slammed Biden and his DOJ for upholding a double standard of justice.
“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified,” Trump said on Truth Social.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the third highest-ranking House Republican, questioned why the FBI had not raided the University of Pennsylvania.
“Where is the FBI raid on the Joe Biden crime family after the revelations that he stole classified materials while serving as Vice President and stored these documents at Biden’s ‘think tank’ that has received over $50 million in Chinese gifts?” she told Breitbart News.
“The American people do not trust Joe Biden’s FBI and Department of Justice who have consistently tipped the scale of justice to fulfill their political ambitions and attack their political opponents. Joe Biden and his corrupt DOJ must be held accountable,” she added.
Jenna Ellis questioned why the DOJ has not appointed a special counsel to investigate Biden. “Biden’s DOJ is reviewing Biden’s classified docs? Maybe should *checks notes* consider a special master,” she said.
Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the top Republican on the Oversight Committee, asked when the FBI would raid the White House.
“Is the White House going to be raided tonight? Are they going to raid the Biden center?” Comer asked reporters. “I don’t know. But, you know, this is further concern that there’s a two-tier justice system within the DOJ with how they treat Republicans versus Democrats.”

Joe Biden Claims He Was ‘Surprised’ by Discovery of ‘Boxes’ of Classified Documents in Old Private Office
CHARLIE SPIERING 10 Jan 2023 Joe Biden said Tuesday he was surprised by the news that “boxes” of classified documents were discovered in an office he used after leaving the vice presidency, claiming ignorance of the existence of the materials. “I was briefed about this discovery, and surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken there to that office,” Biden said, reacting for the first time to the news during a press event in Mexico City on Tuesday. The news broke Monday that classified documents were discovered in his old office by his lawyers and reported to the National Archives. But Biden suggested that Americans should not doubt his respect for classified documents. “People know I take classified documents, classified information seriously,” Biden said, detailing that the documents found were in a “locked” closet of his old office. The Associated Press President Joe Biden waves before boarding Air Force One at El Paso International Airport in El Paso, Texas, Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, to travel to Mexico City, Mexico. (AP Photo/Andrew Harnik) He also insisted he did not know what was in the materials, even as CNN revealed Tuesday they included topics such as Ukraine, Iran, and the United Kingdom. Some of the discovered documents were labeled “top secret.” “I don’t know what’s in the documents. My lawyers have not suggested I not ask what documents they were,” Biden said, speaking carefully from his notes, noting there were “boxes” of documents that were turned over to the archives. The White House said that the documents were discovered on November 2nd by one of Biden’s lawyers, who found them in the president’s private office in downtown Washington, DC. The D.C. office is where Biden worked as part of his paid agreement with the University of Pennsylvania’s Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement after leaving his position as vice president under former President Barack Obama. President Biden is cooperating with his Justice Department as Attorney General Merrick Garland has assigned an attorney to investigate the matter. At this point, Garland has not turned over the case to a special counsel as he did with the classified records investigation of former President Donald Trump. “We’re cooperating fully with the review, which I hope will be finished soon,” Biden said. The documents were discovered a week before the 2022 midterm elections but were only revealed in a report first detailed by CBS on Monday. The building that housed office space of President Joe Biden's former institute, the Penn Biden Center, is seen at the corner of Constitution and Louisiana Avenue NW, in Washington, Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023. Potentially classified documents were found on Nov. 2, 2022, in a “locked closet” in the office, according to special counsel to the president Richard Sauber. The National Archives and Records Administration took custody of the documents the next day after being notified by the White House Counsel's office. Trump accused Biden’s think tank of being funded by China, calling into question whether the president was giving them classified information. “How much more information has China been given?” he asked on social media. link

Damaging 5-Year-Old Video Of Biden Surfaces After Bombshell Classified Documents Story
by Liza Carlisle January 11, 2023 On Tuesday, furor erupted over news that classified documents had been found in a suite of Washington, D.C. offices Biden used while serving as Vice President of the United States. According to a New York Times report published Monday, the documents were found in a locked closet at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, a University of Pennsylvania think tank established in Washington and named for Biden that opened in February 2018. Now a damaging video from a 2018 interview resurfaced that shows Biden declaring he had no access to “classified information” while at the same time, the documents existed in his off-site office. Check out this snippet of Biden’s conversation with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell provided by Western Journal. (And as an aside, note the evident difference between today’s doddering Biden and the man in 2018. He was almost stentorian by comparison.) So, in the same month and year that Biden claimed to have no access to classified materials, the materials were in his office. Western Journal noted that “Naturally, the Biden-backing Times, along with the rest of the establishment media, are taking pains to point out that there’s a huuuge difference between the appearance of classified documents Biden himself admitted he had no business having and the classified documents at the home of former President Donald Trump.” If you remember, the Florida home of former President Trump was raided by Biden’s FBI on Aug. 8 because “a former president in possession of classified documents is such a clear and present danger to the republic that it requires a squad of armed men to take over his home while he is away and cart away possessions,” Western Journal noted. Excuses surfacing include the amount of documents, ignorance of the content of the documents, and ignorance of the whereabouts of the documents. Biden had only a “small number” of documents, according to reports. He “had neither been notified that he had official records nor been asked to return them, the White House said,” according to the Times. And Biden is “unaware of their contents,” according to CBS News, which first reported the story. But the media leaves out a HUGE factor in the difference between the two instances. As president, Trump had the power to declassify any material he wanted. Biden didn’t wield that authority until he was inaugurated in January 2021 — three years after the interview with Mitchell. Trump has repeatedly stated that he himself declassified the documents found at his home before he left the Oval Office. Another point that the establishment media likely won’t stress is that the Biden White House was — allegedly — first informed of the documents’ presence in the president’s old offices on Nov. 2. That’s an important date because it was less than a week before the Nov. 8 midterms. If the American people had known that Biden was guilty — to one degree or another — of precisely the kind of offense that supposedly justified sending a troop of FBI agents into a political rival’s home, they might have decided that Democrats really are as totalitarian as they look. It was also two weeks before Attorney General Merrick Garland — who had approved the Mar-a-Lago raid — appointed a special counsel to oversee the investigation into the Trump documents. “Today, I signed an order appointing Jack Smith to serve as special counsel. The order authorizes him to continue the ongoing investigation … and to prosecute any federal crimes that may arise from those investigations,” Garland said then. It’s an interesting question whether Garland was aware at the time of the documents that had been found in Biden’s old office. If he wasn’t, surely Biden and his team were, which might have given some of them pause when Garland used the words “prosecute any federal crimes that may arise.” For her part, Andrea Mitchell chimed in Tuesday with a Twitter post that would have done any Soviet apparatchik proud for its party-line loyalty. Mitchell thereby confirmed that the Biden documents had been found in the same spot where the president had told her to her face that he had no access to classified documents. Yet she insisted that it was all “as far as we know very different” from what Trump did, ignoring one key difference “as far as we know” is that Trump had the authority as president to declassify any documents he saw fit, and Biden, as VP. did not have any such authority. Beyond that certain knowledge, the questions of why classified documents traveled from Biden’s vice presidential offices to offices a mile away, when that happened, and why they were never returned remain unanswered. The laughable accusations against former President Trump for having documents that he himself declassified and was holding for inclusion in his presidential library by the same person who is now known to have held classified documents that were not declassified is certainly a case of throwing stones at glass houses. link

Oversight Committee Demands Joe Biden Disclose All Retrieved Documents from Penn Biden Center
WENDELL HUSEBØ 11 Jan 2023 Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) wrote a letter to White House counsel on Tuesday demanding the disclosure of all the documents retrieved from the Penn Biden Center that President Joe Biden stashed there, including classified briefings and documents pertaining to Iran and Ukraine dated between 2013 and 2016. “To assist Committee Republicans in investigating President Biden’s recent mishandling of classified information, please provide the following documents and information no later than January 24, 2023,” Comer stated. The demand did not include a subpoena. Comer demanded the following documents and information: 1. All documents retrieved from President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center; 2. All internal documents and communications regarding the documents retrieved from President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center; 3. A list of all people who had access to President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center; 4. All documents and communications related to the handling of the classified material by President Biden’s personal lawyers — including but not limited to their security clearance status; and 5. All documents and communications between or among the White House and the Department of Justice or NARA [National Archives and Records Administration] regarding the documents retrieved from President Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center. Comer is not the only congressional committee chair requesting information about the mishandling of classified information. Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), the chair of the Senate’s Select Committee on Intelligence, demanded a briefing from President Joe Biden’s Justice Department on Tuesday. The requested briefing flies in the face of the media’s decision to downplay the national security breach. Biden stashed the documents at the Penn Biden Center, which reportedly received at least $54 million in anonymous Chinese donations between 2014 and 2019. Critics fear the Chinese Communist Party could have donated money to gain access to Biden’s classified trove. The University of Pennsylvania has denied that the Penn Biden Center received any money from anonymous Chinese donors. Yet some experts believe it has. Breitbart News reported: According to the Washington Free Beacon, some of the funds were given by Shanghai real estate developer Xu Xeuqing, who reportedly has no immediate connection to the university. In 2011, Xu faced corruption allegations in China but was never charged with a crime. An expert on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) at the American Foreign Policy Council, Michael Sobolik, told the Beacon that Xu’s non-prosecution suggests he has a close relationship to the CCP. On Tuesday, Biden was questioned about the security breach, for which he could not provide any credible explanation. “I don’t know what’s in the documents. My lawyers have not suggested I not ask what documents they were,” Biden said, noting he was surprised at the discovery. “I was briefed about this discovery, and surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken there to that office,” Biden said. Mike Davis, founder and president of the pro-Trump Article III Project, called Biden’s claim “nonsense.” “Biden moved these stolen classified records twice: a. Before January 20, 2017 (left White House) b. After moving into new office in February 2018,” he tweeted. “Biden had these stolen classified records in his personal files. Garland must appoint a Special Counsel.” link

Report: Joe Biden Aides Discover More Classified Documents at Separate Location
CHARLIE SPIERING 11 Jan 2023 Joe Biden’s aides have discovered more classified documents in his possession at a different location, according to a report from NBC News. The report does not say where or when the new documents were discovered, but it is clear the White House is attempting to clean up Biden’s records ahead of a possible run for reelection in 2024. The newly discovered documents are from a location separate from the private office connected to a University of Pennsylvania think tank that Biden had in Washington, DC, where the first batch of classified information was discovered. Biden claimed Tuesday he was “surprised” that classified documents were found in his possession, repeating he was ignorant of their contents. “I was briefed about this discovery, and surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken there to that office,” Biden said, reacting for the first time to the news during a press event in Mexico City. “I don’t know what’s in the documents,” he continued. “My lawyers have not suggested I not ask what documents they were.” Biden also revealed Tuesday there were “boxes” of documents that were turned over to the archives. The White House has stonewalled any additional information about the documents that were first discovered just days before the 2022 midterm elections. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to even confirm whether Biden’s aides were searching his other properties to see if they contained classified documents. link

Donald Trump: China ‘Probably Had Easy Access’ to Biden’s Classified Docs
WENDELL HUSEBØ 11 Jan 2023 Former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden following the revelation that he was stashing classified documents at the University of Pennsylvania, which is reported to have accepted millions of dollars in mysterious donations from China. Trump speculated that China could have had access to the classified information because the Penn Biden Center reportedly received $54 million in anonymous Chinese donations between 2014 and 2019. “Biden’s documents are HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL, many pertain to UKRAINE, where Hunter was ‘raking in the dough,’ and FUNDED BY CHINA, which gave $55 Million to Biden, through Penn, and probably had easy access,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. Trump’s reference to Hunter Biden is related to Hunter’s former position on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company. In 2017, Hunter was paid $83,000 per month to be on the board. Hunter was appointed to the board of Burisma in 2014 with no prior experience with the energy sector or Ukraine. In 2015, Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion from Ukraine if the Ukrainian government did not fire the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. In 2017, Hunter’s salary was cut in half when Joe Biden left the White House as then-Vice President, having himself visited Ukraine six times in seven years. Trump also raised the question of whether former Transpiration Secretary Elaine Chao, the wife of Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), knew of the anonymous Chinese donations. “Was the Old Crow’s boss, China loving Coco Chow, involved?” Trump questioned. “Just asking?” According to the Washington Free Beacon, some of the funds were donated to the Penn Biden Center by Shanghai real estate developer Xu Xeuqing, who reportedly has no connection to the University of Pennsylvania. In 2011, Xu faced corruption allegations in China but was never charged with a crime. An expert on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) at the American Foreign Policy Council, Michael Sobolik, told the Beacon that Xu’s non-prosecution indicates he maitains a close relationship to the CCP. Chao also has deep connections to Chinese businesses. Breitbart News reported in 2019 that Chao and Mitch McConnell have directly benefited from the Chao family shipping business in China. As Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer recounts in his book Secret Empires, Chao’s father — Mitch McConnell’s father-in-law — gave the Washington power couple a “gift” (the term used on McConnell’s financial disclosure forms to report this transaction) of between $5 and $25 million in 2008. The “gift” had a large impact on the couple’s wealth. According to the New York Post, “In 2004, current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his wife, current U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, had an average net worth of $3.1 million. Ten years later, that number had increased to somewhere between $9.2 million and $36.5 million.” As New York magazine noted, “in many of the videos James Chao brags about his daughter’s government work and contacts. In one video he describes talking with Trump on Air Force One. ‘The president spent several minutes with me,’ he said. ‘We were talking about business.’” In 2021, Chow was flagged by the Transportation Department’s Inspector General for allegedly using her staff and her office to help benefit her family and their business operations. link

White House Pleads with Reporters to Avoid ‘Confrontation’ over Biden’s Possession of Classified Documents
CHARLIE SPIERING 11 Jan 2023 The White House on Wednesday tried to ward off contention with reporters about documents found in President Joe Biden’s private office from when he was vice president. “Ed, we don’t need to have this. We work very well together. We don’t need to have this kind of confrontation,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during the daily briefing on Wednesday when reporter Ed O’Keefe pressed her for details on the news. Jean-Pierre had nothing new to share with the press on any further details of the classified documents found in the president’s old office. “It is literally under review right now. As I am talking to you it is under review, so I am not going to get beyond the process. I am not going to get beyond what the president said,” she replied. Biden said Tuesday he was “surprised” about the existence of classified documents in his private office for his University of Pennsylvania think tank in Washington, DC, and did not know what the documents were about. “He has said he doesn’t know what is in them,” Jean-Pierre said. “So, there’s no way for me to talk about the documents if he has said he doesn’t know what’s in them.” Jean-Pierre stonewalled several reporters who asked her when the White House found out about the documents, which were discovered just days before the 2022 midterm elections. When asked how the American people could trust the president to properly handle the documents, Jean-Pierre replied, “Because his lawyers, his team did the right thing.” Reporters also reminded Jean-Pierre of Biden’s promise of transparency when it came to his presidency, repeatedly asking why the White House did not reveal when the president found out about the documents and why the White House waited several weeks before revealing the truth about the incident. Jean-Pierre argued that the White House had already been transparent. “We released information that was very transparent,” she said, referring to a statement from White House lawyers about the incident. “I know you all are going to have a lot of questions, I get that and I understand that, but I’m not going to go beyond the process,” she said. link

FIREWORKS! Karine Jean-Pierre Spars with Peter Doocy Over How Classified Documents Ended Up in Joe Biden’s Private Office (VIDEO)
By Cristina Laila Published January 11, 2023 at 3:07pm White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday sparred with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy over how classified documents ended up in Biden’s private office. “On these documents, how can anyone be that irresponsible? Isn’t that what this president says about mishandling classified documents?” Doocy said, echoing Biden’s previous comments on Trump. Karine Jean-Pierre shot back and absurdly claimed Biden takes handling classified documents ‘seriously.’ WATCH: Peter Doocy would not back down. “He had a closet with classified information in it that they found. How did it get there?” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy queried. “[Biden] was surprised that the records were there,” Karine Jean-Pierre said. “But they were there!” Doocy said. “He was surprised that the records were there!” KJP said. VIDEO: Top secret intelligence documents related to Ukraine, UK and Iran were found in Joe Biden’s private office, according to CNN. Joe Biden stored top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” (SCIF) designation at Penn Biden Center in DC. According to CNN, the classified documents were found in a folder labeled “personal.” Biden said he was “surprised” to learn there was classified materials at his private office. “I was surprised to learn that there were any government records that were taken there to that office. But I don’t know what’s in the documents. My lawyers have not suggested I ask what documents they were. I’ve turned over the boxes – they’ve turned over the boxes to The Archives and we’re cooperating fully with the review which I hope will be finished soon,” Biden said on Tuesday in Mexico City. link

President Trump’s Documents Held at Mar-a-Lago Were Legit But Biden Held Classified Intel That Went Against the Law – When Did the DOJ Know?
By Joe Hoft Published January 11, 2023 at 4:50pm When did the DOJ know that Biden held classified documents against the law? Was this before the corrupt FBI raided President Trump’s home, Mar-a-Lago? This week it was reported that the Deep State DOJ knew that Joe Biden, while Obama’s Vice President, maintained super classified documents at his office at the University of Penn where China had donated millions of dollars. This information comes after this past summer when the DOJ raided President Trump’s home, stole the President’s documents, and accused the President of illegally maintaining classified information against the law. The FBI continued its attack against President Trump after he left office with the raid and seizing of some of the documents the President maintained there. These documents were secure, they were his, and they were legitimately there. This raid shocked the nation. Attorney Mike Davis shared that the raid was unprecedented, unnecessary and unlawful. The President has the right to declassify records. President Trump did so before he arrived in Mar-a-Lago and he kept the documents safe. There was no need to raid the President’s home. Some believe that the FBI took documents from President Trump that implicated the FBI. Fast forward to this week. Documents were “found” at the Biden office at Penn University. The documents held very sensitive information that could get people killed if in the wrong hands. China donated millions to the facility at Penn U. Joe Biden was Obama’s Vice President. He had no reason to maintain these top-secret documents. As VP, Biden did not have the authority to declassify these documents. He committed crimes by holding this information in such a non-secure environment. Mike Davis spoke about this today on the War Room where he shared that Biden undeniably committed multiple felonies in maintaining this information at Penn U. It’ actually much worse than Trump, because President Trump had the absolute Constitutional powers as Commander in Chief and the Statutory power under the Presidential Records Act to take his Presidential records when he left office, classified or not. He could declassify them. He could take declassified records… Contrast that with then former Vice President Joe Biden. He had none of those powers… Biden had these documents in his personal files. He committed numerous felonies by doing so. How long did the DOJ know about these crimes? How many individuals lives were, or are, at risk by having these documents sitting around Biden’s office? Did China know or pay for these documents? Did the FBI know about these documents before they raided Mar-a-Lago and, if before, is that why they raided Mar-a-Lago in the first place, to project their crimes on President Trump? Americans are very tired of this absolute corruption. Video and more at link

Attorney General Merrick Garland Assigns Special Counsel to Investigate Joe Biden for Possession of Classified Documents
CHARLIE SPIERING 12 Jan 2023 Attorney General Merrick Garland announced his decision Thursday to appoint a special counsel to investigate President Joe Biden after classified documents from his time as vice president in Barack Obama’s administration were found in his possession. “I concluded that under the special counsel regulations, it was in the public interest to appoint a special counsel,” Garland said, noting that he made his decision on January 5th. He announced that former U.S. attorney from Maryland Robert Hur, appointed by former president Donald Trump, to investigate Biden. “Mr. Hurr has a long and distinguished career as a prosecutor,” Garland said, adding that “I will ensure that Mr. Hur receives all the resources he needs to conduct his work.” The Attorney General laid out the timeline for the Justice Department’s handling of the investigation, revealing that the investigation was well underway before it was first reported on Tuesday. Garland recounted that he was first notified of Biden’s possession of classified documents on the evening of November 4, which were found by his lawyer in his office at the Penn-Biden center. “That office was not authorized for the storage of classified documents,” Garland said. On November 9th, Garland revealed, the FBI began an investigation as to whether the classified information found in Biden’s possession had been illegally mishandled. Garland also said that on November 14th, he assigned U.S. Attorney John Lausch to conduct an initial investigation of the president for the documents found in the Penn-Biden center. He also revealed that Joe Biden’s attorney notified them on December 20th about the classified documents found in his garage, that were secured by the FBI. President Joe Biden’s counsel Richard Sauber said in a statement that Biden’s possession of the classified documents was a “mistake” and the documents were “inadvertently misplaced.” “We have cooperated closely with the Justice Department throughout its review and we will continue that cooperation with the Special Counsel,” he wrote. link

Joe Biden’s Classified Documents Alibi Changes from Not Knowing to Securely ‘Locked’ in Residence
WENDELL HUSEBØ 12 Jan 2023 Joe Biden’s alibi for storing troves of classified documents in three separate locations has shifted from claiming no knowledge of the documents to reassuring citizens they were stashed in a locked garage. Biden was asked Thursday by Fox News why he would stash classified documents in his garage in Delaware. Biden responded the documents were in his “locked” garage with his Corvette. “My Corvette’s in a locked garage, okay? So it’s not like they’re sitting out on the street,” he said. The president claimed he would cooperate with the Justice Department to recover classified documents. Biden’s alibi that the documents existed in a locked garage has shifted from his statement about the first trove of classified documents found by his lawyers at Penn Biden Center on Tuesday. Perhaps trying to play dumb, Biden said he was “surprised” about the trove of classified documents and that he did not know which exact documents were stashed in the Pen Biden Center. “I don’t know what’s in the documents. My lawyers have not suggested I not ask what documents they were,” Biden said. “I was briefed about this discovery, and surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken there to that office,” Biden added. Meanwhile, the establishment media has tried to defend Biden for the incident, claiming the president’s first and second trove of classified documents were not stored at a personal residence like former President Trump’s alleged incident. That narrative fell apart Thursday, when Biden’s lawyers revealed the third trove of stashed classified documents at Biden’s home in Delaware. link

Cover-Up: Biden and White House Lawyer Failed to Publicly Disclose December 20 Discovery of Classified Documents in Corvette Garage in Initial Statement
By Kristinn Taylor Published January 12, 2023 at 2:15pm The initial statement issued by White House attorney Richard Sauber on Monday to address the CBS News report on classified documents being discovered at the Penn Biden Center on November 2, 2022, failed to disclose that additional classified documents were found at Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home on December 20 by Biden’s personal attorneys. It was not until Thursday morning that Sauber announced that a second set of classified documents were found in Biden’s garage and was confirmed by Biden in a contentious colloquy with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy. Sauber’s initial statement on Monday only spoke about the Penn Center discovery: When Biden spoke to reporters on Tuesday in Mexico City, he only spoke about the Penn Center documents, failing to disclose the Corvette garage discovery last month (excerpt via White House transcript): Well, let me get rid of the easy one first. People know I take classified documents and classified information seriously. When my lawyers were clearing out my office at the University of Pennsylvania, they set up an office for me — a secure office in the Capitol, when I — the four years after being Vice President, I was a professor at Penn. They found some documents in a box — you know, a locked cabinet, or at least a closet. And as soon as they did, they realized there were several classified documents in that box. And they did what they should have done: They immediately called the Archives — immediately called the Archives, turned them over to the Archives. And I was briefed about this discovery and surprised to learn that there were any government records that were taken there to that office. But I don’t know what’s in the documents. I’ve — my lawyers have not suggested I ask what documents they were. I’ve turned over the boxes — they’ve turned over the boxes to the Archives. And we’re cooperating fully — cooperating fully with the review, and — which I hope will be finished soon, and will be more detail at that time. The first question, now I forgot. (Laughter.) Your first question related to — Attorney General Merrick Garland, in his announcement Thursday of his appointment of a special counsel to investigate Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, gave a timeline of discoveries that showed Biden and his lawyer had failed to disclose the second discovery. “Timeline, per @kevinliptakcnn: Nov. 4 — National Archives IG informed DOJ that WH notified Archives documents found at Penn Biden Center Nov. 9 — FBI launches assessment to understand whether classified material mishandled Nov 14 — Garland asked Lausch to oversee investigation Dec. 20 – Biden lawyers inform Lausch other docs discovered in Wilmington garage. FBI goes to secure documents Jan. 5 – Garland briefed on results of initial probe and advised a special counsel warranted Jan. 12 – Biden lawyers call to say additional classified document identified at Wilmington residence” Sauber statement on the Corvette garage discovery failed to disclose they were found last month. Sauber was appointed by Biden last year to the role of Special Counsel to the President to help with investigations in anticipation of a Republican takeover of Congress (excerpt via CNN): The White House has hired Richard Sauber to assist in the Biden administration’s response to potential future investigations should Republicans win back majorities in Congress in the midterm elections, officials confirm to CNN. Sauber, currently the top lawyer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and is expected to begin at the White House in the next few weeks with the title “special counsel to the president.” “Dick is an excellent lawyer who brings decades of experience that will be a valuable asset,” Ian Sams, a White House counsel spokesperson, told CNN. “As we have since the transition, we are ensuring the White House is prepared for the issues we are facing or will face in the future, and we have built and continue to build a strong legal team to conduct our work and serve the public and the President.” Sauber’s statement on Garland’s appointment of a special counsel included an admission that Biden mishandled documents, stating they were “inadvertently misplaced.” Biden’s handling of his classified documents scandal violates the rule for presidential crisis management by Clinton veteran Lanny Danny Davis: “Tell it all, tell it early, tell it yourself.” link

Biden Held ‘Stolen’ Classified Docs at His Delaware Home AND the Secret Service Kept No Records of Visitors While They Were There
By Joe Hoft Published January 12, 2023 at 8:00pm This is truly frightening. We know the Biden family committed unsavory actions. These facts surrounding the Biden family hiding top secret documents at their house in Deleware are very concerning and a danger to the country’s national security. Attorney Mike Davis explained on Steve Bannon’s War Room that these documents at his home were stolen by Joe when he left office in 2017. Steve Bannan asked Davis to clarify the word “stole”. He noted that no one has ever “accused President Trump of stealing records.” Davis replied: The former Vice President Joe Biden did not have these same privileges as Vice President as President’s do. Vice Presidents, like anyone else, cannot take government records. They can’t take Vice Presidential records when they leave office and they certainly can’t take classified records. The President can take Presidential records when he leaves office, whether they’re classified or not. No one else can and so that’s the issue. Vice President Joe Biden absolutely stole government records. He absolutely stole classified records when he left office by the mere fact that they are in his possession. He moved them at least once when he left office, on January 20, 2017. He moved them again when he moved into the Biden Penn Office at 101 Constitution Avenue in February of 2018. He apparently has other stolen records at another location. Watch entire interview below: rumble.com/v24zeam-mike-davis-vice-president-biden-absolutely-stole-government-records.htmlBut what is more frightening is that we have no idea who has visited the Biden homes in Delaware because the Secret Service claimed months ago that they have no records of visitors. TGP reported last April: In all, Biden has spent over 25% of his presidency stationed at his Delaware homes, which consists of him taking “personal time” while also conducting official and unofficial business. However, during the past year-plus, the USSS did not record any of Biden’s visitors at all. The admission from the agency came in response to a FOIA request from the NY Post. When the outlet asked for records about who was visiting Biden, the USSS officer Kevin Tyrell was forced to admit they didn’t have them, because they didn’t exist. The fact that the Bidens maintained classified stolen documents at their home and we have no idea who had the opportunity to review these documents is frightening. The Bidens are again involved in very serious criminal activity. More at link

Hunter Biden Accessed Garage Where Joe Biden Held Classified Docs – Filled Out Legal Document Saying He Owned the House
By Jim Hoft Published January 12, 2023 at 6:26pm Joe Biden on Jay Leno’s Garage backing his corvette into his Delaware garage. Government officials announced this week that they discovered more classified documents at Joe Biden’s Delaware home – in the garage. As Vice President, Joe Biden had no legal right to hold classified documents in his possession. The documents discovered at his UPenn office and Delaware garage were taken when Joe Biden served as VP under Obama. And now we learn that Hunter Biden had a key to the garage. But there’s more… Hunter Biden also signed a legal document saying he OWNED the home and that he was not a felon — TWO MORE LIES! Via Miranda Devine. Real Clear Politics reported: Shortly after the White House announced that a second set of classified documents from the Obama administration was discovered in the Delaware home of the president – and immediately before Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the appointment of a second special prosecutor into misplaced classified presidential papers – Joe Biden tried to reassure the country by telling reporters that the sensitive documents were behind locked doors. “Yes, as well as my Corvette,” Biden told Peter Doocy of Fox News, referring to his beloved 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray… …The White House has not revealed who, other than Biden himself, had access to the documents found in Delaware or the classified intelligence discovered at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. But his son Hunter Biden, who is under federal criminal investigation for tax fraud and whom House Republicans plan to subpoena in regard to his foreign business dealings, did have access to the garage. At least, according to earlier statements made by Biden. As vice president in 2016, Biden and his Corvette appeared in the season premiere of CNBC’s “Jay Leno’s Garage.” Showing off the classic that was a wedding present from his father, Biden told Leno that his sons had restored the vehicle to showroom condition. link

Kennedy: ‘White House Doesn’t Have Enough Hazmat Suits to Clean Up’ Classified Documents Mess
PAM KEY 12 Jan 2023 Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) said Thursday on FNC’s “America Reports” that President Joe Biden’s handling of classified materials is a mess exposing a DOJ double standard. Kennedy said, “I just find all of this surreal. It’s almost like watching a Quentin Tarantino movie. I suppose my first thought is that all of this is yet one more example of why in Washington, D.C., if it were not for double standards, there won’t be any standards at all. I’m not surprised that the attorney general has appointed a special counsel. I’m not sure he had a choice. The White House has tried, and the White House does not have enough hazmat suits to clean up this mess. Aside from the obvious that the Justice Department is investigating President Trump for something that President Biden himself may have done, there are a lot of other intriguing questions for the inspector general.” He continued, “Was there a cover-up? The powers that be have known about all this since November 2nd. It’s now the middle of January. Was there a cover-up? Who was involved?” He added, “What’s the role of the National Archives in all of this? The National Archives was scathingly critical of President Trump and his documents. They have known about all of this since November 2 or 3. They have been missing in action with respect to President Biden and his documents. You could not have found them with a search party. We still have not heard from them. What’s up with that?” Video at link

Kash Patel: I Think They’re Going to Find Out Joe Biden Had “Many More Places Where Documents were Improperly Stored” (VIDEO)
By Jim Hoft Published January 12, 2023 at 4:30pm Former Trump official Kash Patel joined Larry Kudlow on FBN this afternoon to discuss the latest news on Joe Biden’s hidden document scandal. Earlier today DOJ Attorney General Merrick Garland nominated Robert Hur as Special Counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents. Kash Patel predicted, “I Think You’re Going to Find Out that Joe Biden had Many More Places Where Documents were Improperly Stored and the Justice Department Had Known for quite some time.” Kash calls these document locations, like the one in Joe Biden’s Delaware garage, “a crime scene.” Kash also described Special Counsel Robert Hur as a “government gangster” linked to Wray and Rosenstein. Kash says the new Government Select Committee on the Weaponization of Government will also have the ability to subpoena documents in this latest Biden scandal. Via Kudlow: Video at link

Reporters Repeatedly Grill Karine Jean-Pierre on ‘GarageGate,’ Biden Document Cover Up, Lack of Transparency and More! (VIDEO)
By Cristina Laila Published January 12, 2023 at 5:30pm Reporters on Thursday grilled White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on ‘GarageGate’ and the cover-up involving the classified documents stored at Biden’s Delaware home. On Monday it was revealed top secret intelligence documents related to Ukraine, UK and Iran were found in Joe Biden’s private office shortly before the 2022 midterm elections. Joe Biden stored top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” (SCIF) designation at Penn Biden Center in DC. Joe Biden’s aides found at least one more batch of classified documents at another location. Government officials discovered more classified documents at Joe Biden’s Delaware home – in the garage. For reference, here is Biden’s garage: US Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents. Garland tapped Robert Hur as the special counsel. Robert Hur – a Trump appointee – was a US Attorney for the US District of Maryland. Peter Doocy dubbed the scandal “GarageGate” – after it was revealed classified documents were stored in Biden’s garage next to his Corvette. “Another one on GarageGate. What is the White House trying to hide?” “Nothing” “Someone gave the President a statement to read on Tuesday that was incomplete at best. Misleading at worst. Who?” KJP dodged the question! WATCH: Peter Doocy: “Another one on GarageGate. What is the White House trying to hide?” KJP: “Nothing” Doocy: “Someone gave the President a statement to read on Tuesday that was incomplete at best. WATCH: NBC’s Kristen Welker grilled KJP about the timeline: “Can you tell us today when did the President find out about that first batch of documents and then the second batch of documents…” KJP did not provide a timeline. WATCH: Kristen Welker peppered KJP with more questions: “You have said repeatedly, the president has said, he takes classified documents very seriously. If that’s the case, why were these classified documents being stored in his garage?” Kristen Welker AGAIN: “Do you acknowledge that the fact that the White House did not reveal this to the public despite the fact that you’ve known about it for months, undercuts the President’s promise of being transparent with the American people?” KJP argued with her and insisted Joe Biden was transparent with the American people. WATCH: Peter Doocy also asked about the visitor logs at Biden’s Wilmington home. This is a scandal that is not getting enough attention. Joe Biden has spent 40% of his presidency on vacation. There are no publicly available visitor logs at his Wilmington home where he illegally stored classified documents. “When will the White House release a log of visitors to the Wilmington house?” Doocy asked. KJP: “You know, ahh. Peter you’ve asked this question, your colleagues have asked this question before…” Doocy: “When will the White House release a log of visitors to the Wilmington house?” KJP: “You know, ahh. More Hidden Biden Docs Likely to be Found… Karine Jean-Pierre Dodges When Asked if Biden is Confident That There Are No Additional Classified Docs Improperly Stored (VIDEO)
By Cristina Laila Published January 12, 2023 at 9:10pm There may be more Biden documents forthcoming. The Deep State is circling the wagons and preparing to kneecap Joe Biden. 80-year-old Joe Biden has overstayed his welcome and the Democrat-Deep State complex is preparing to toss him into the garbage bin. On Monday it was revealed top secret intelligence documents related to Ukraine, UK and Iran were found in Joe Biden’s private office shortly before the 2022 midterm elections. Government officials discovered more classified documents at Joe Biden’s Delaware home – in the garage next to his Corvette. White House reporters on Thursday repeatedly grilled Karine Jean-Pierre on Biden’s improperly stored classified documents. It’s as if the White House press pool has been given the green light to go after Joe Biden. One reporter asked KJP if there are possibly more documents with classified markings at other locations. “Is the President confident that there are no additional documents with classified markings that remain in any other additional locations?” ABC’s Karen Travers queried. Karine Jean-Pierre refused to give a straight answer which means there’s more. “I can just refer you to what his team said,” KJP replied. Translation: Yes, there’s more. WATCH: link
