Fashion fanatics have been sent into a frenzy over a bizarre pair of $350 red rubber boots inspired by cartoon character Astro Boy.
The latest footwear design by Brooklyn-based art collective MSCHF, being officially released on February 16, has sent the internet wild - but opinions have been divided.
Some have said that they cannot wait to get their hands on a pair, claiming 'if you couldn't rock them it's because you have ugly taste, no style and no pizzazz.'
But others have said that shoppers need to 'let it go' and compared the goofy design to characters such as Pac-Man and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Despite not even being released yet, the resale price for the Big Red Boot has already shot up to more than $1,200 on sites such as StockX.
