Prayer for Luigi Fluffybutt & more...

Luigi is a beautiful, long-haired tuxedo kitty. He got fleas, and I didn't realize how bad it was until I the tile floor was red under where he was sleeping; I gave him a bath and the water was actually red. I had half a box of flea pills left from my Svetlana, who's with the Lord, so I gave him one, and a few hours later he was floppy and uncoordinated. I finally found a vet who could see him right away, and they told me to take him to the ER because he might need overnight care.
I did so, and told them what flea pill he had taken. It was prescribed for the elderly Svetlana, but it's for dogs. I had questioned the vet about that, and he said it was fine - it was for cat-sized dogs.I stupidly trusted him. (I now trust vets about as m7ch as I trust human doctors - which is not at all!) ) Well, Svetlana never had an issue, but apparently it didn't agree with Luigi. The ER vet called Poison Control, and they said that since his vitals were good he should be alright in 24 hours, so prayer is appreciated - and I don't need to mention I need prayer for financial help as well. I don't know what the original vet didn't prescribe something specifically for cats - I had the prescription called in to Chewy, and they have every animal medication you can think of, so it's not like he was out of stock.
I feel like I'm under attack. My porch light - which has a fairly new bulb - blew again. I tried replacing it, and none of three bulbs worked. I tried plugging several things into an outlet, and none of them worked, so something is off somewhere. I tried switching the breakers, and nothing happened. The big problem there is, I have a freezer filled with food back there.
I did think to get the super-long extension cord I have for the lawn mover, so i plugged the freezer into an outlet in the house.
And to top things off, Honor decided she was going to leave the yard and go exploring.
She finally came home - she knew she was bad as she immediately went into her crate and refused to come out, which only made me angrier.
