19:54 - Tim describes his considerable research into Early Church history & the writings of the Early Church fathers which led to his research series entitled "The Collapse of the Eucharist." How do Roman Catholics justify their tradition of the Eucharist? Roman Catholics say it is justified by Early Christian history & tradition going back to the apostles. Catholic apologists declared the "Eucharistic Challenge" daring anyone to go back into Early Christian Church history & prove that the Roman Catholic church does not practice the "Eucharistic Sacrifice" the same as the Early Church & apostles. Thus Timothy Kauffman took them up on their "challenge." By the way Christian Answers has an entire playlist called "Dealing with Anti Trinitarians (UPC) & Early Church History" with 87 videos at

22:17 - The early Christians did offer sacrifices to God: Philippians 4:18, Hebrews 13:15-16,
1 Peter 2:4-6 - sacrifices of thanksgiving.
24:57 - Does Eucharist mean thanksgiving in Greek? The word “Eucharist” is a transliteration of the Greek word eucharistia, which is itself a translation of the Hebrew word berekah. All three words have the meaning of thanksgiving, or praise for the wonderful works of God. Thus the Eucharistic sacrifices found in the early church were praises & thanksgiving to the Lord.
25:30 - In the Early Church they believed their tithes & gifts, praises & thanksgivings were Eucharistic sacrifices. This is backed up by the Early Church fathers Irenaeus, Ignatius of Antioch, Hippolytus of Rome, all the way through to Athanasius of Alexandria. "Add ons" to this situation began to appear in the later centuries. The Early Church did not believe the Eucharistic food, such as figs, wheat, barley, legumes, grapes, olives, etc. offered had to be turned into the Lord's supper becoming "the Real Presence of God, Jesus Christ, body and blood" by a designated priest in the Roman Church who was not married.
29:17 - What is the "Eucharist" to Roman Catholics today? Images of the Roman Catholic version of the Eucharist sacrifice at www.shutterstock.com/search/e... VERSUS different types of fruits, vegetables, grains. etc used for the Eucharist sacrifices in the Early Christian church. History itself disproves the Roman Catholic version.
29:59 - Rob Zins goes to the marker board to clarify the Early Christian church's version of what a "Eucharistic sacrifice" meant. What does the word "Sacrifice" mean in the Biblical sense? What does the word "Eucharist" mean in the Biblical sense? The Early Church took the "Gift of Thanksgiving" (Eucharistic Sacrifice) to be a fulfillment of Malachi 1:11, "For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be presented to My name, as well as a grain offering that is clean; for My name will be great among the nations,” says Yahweh of hosts."
39:19 - Tim picks up with what happened after the "Eucharistic Sacrifice" (giving of agricultural products, etc) was concluded by the Amen (1 Corinthians 14:16). Things changed dramatically by the fourth century & the order & way the "Eucharistic Sacrifice" was conducted transformed into a different entity via an intentional evolutionary theological deterioration.
47:43 - Catholic apologists such as Patrick Madrid in his book "Answer Me This" falsely argue that their liturgy of proper church worship go all the way back to the apostles. See our playlist "Dealing with Roman Catholicism, Idolatry & the Virgin Mary" with 239 videos at
