There's a local church in Hawaii, Harvest, that is working to help the victims as well as aid and support the first responders, and they're sharing the gospel with them as they do so. It seems to be biblically sound, judging by their website, and this is my preference for donating, as I don't think any administrative fees are involved - all the money would go to help those who are suffering because of this. You can donate here.As always, Samaritan's Purse is working with local churches to help: You can donate here.
DO NOT donate to the Red Cross!!!

From what I've heard, the 🤬 government and FEMA are letting the supplies that are being shipped in to help the people of Maui are being left to rot on the dock. I know the churches are distributing necessities - thousands of packages have been sent to them from Amazon. I contacted JD Farag's church to see if they were accepting donations specifically for the fire victims because he said they're taking supplies over, but they never got back to me. I heard about Maui LFG from a Christian gentleman who is a realtor on Maui; the video explains how you can help. All cash donated is given DIRECTLY to those in need; nothing is take out for administrative expenses. If you can't give money, you can donate ideas, services, etc. - it's all explained in the video below. mauilfg.org/

Eric West, the realtor who has been raising money for the victims of the fire, has been having a lot of problems - he's trying to do good, but people are coming against him and spreading lies about him, even accusing him of stealing the money he's raised; he's even lost his job. I know what he's going through, having been the victim of a smear campaign of lies and false allegations myself, so I encourage you to keep him in prayer. He's now raising money through his church, but frankly, I'd rather donate to mauilfg.org/ as I've checked out Eric's church and it appears to be Word of Faith. In one video he was holding a Kenneth Copeland study Bible, so please pray that his eyes are opened to that heretical movement in addition to his other needs. At that website you have the option of giving through GoFundMe or GiveSendGo. I'd recommend the latter, as it's a Christian organization, whereas GoFundMe is liberal. GoFundMe also holds onto the money for several days
