I saw the movie yesterday as I'm a history buff. It was long - 3 hours - and dragged on at times; much of it was about accusations during the McCarthy era against Dr. Oppenheimer of being a Communist and the subsequent hearings; other parts were biographical. The portions about the actual atomic bomb testing were more interesting, but I was really annoyed and disgusted that they seemed to think that the movie needed several nude scenes - that totally ruined it for me.
In a word: Meh!

I don't get it. Why did a movie about the creator of the atomic bomb have nude scenes in it?

I don't get it. Why did a movie about the creator of the atomic bomb have nude scenes in it? They portrayed Oppenheimer as a womanizer, and in a couple of scenes he was having sex with a woman; in another he and she were sitting in chairs naked. All that was clearly shown were the woman's breasts, but it was totally and completely unnecessary and added absolutely nothing to the story line.
