Pro-Hamas Protesters Disrupt Senate Hearing, Yell Over Blinken: ‘Murderer!’
Frank Bergman October 31, 2023 - 1:38 pm Pro-Hamas protesters descended on Capitol Hill and immediately disrupted a Senate hearing as soon as it got underway. At the start of the Senate hearing on Tuesday, Democrat President Joe Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken attempted to deliver his opening statement. However, anti-Israel demonstrators had painted their hands red and sat in the back of the room before he began. As soon as Blinken began his opening statement, a protester began screaming pro-Hamas propaganda. “Save the children now!” they yelled. “Save the children of Gaza! “Save the children of Gaza! “Ceasefire now!” the demonstrator shouted as Blinken tried to speak. “Where is your pride America?” Security appeared to remove the protester from the room. Blinken then briefly continued his opening statement. But after just a few seconds, a woman stood up holding a pink-bordered sign with a pro-Hamas slogan. “Stop the brutal, brutal massacre in Gaza!” she yelled. Democrat Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) then suspended the hearing until the protesters were cleared from the room. As security laid hands on her, the woman continued to deliver her message. “Shame on you all!” she shouted. “The world is crying for a ceasefire! “The American people don’t want to support this brutal war!” Meanwhile, a cluster of around 10 other protesters silently raised their hands, which were painted red. A larger group then stood and began shouting, holding up the entire hearing. “Ceasefire now, ceasefire now, ceasefire now!” the woman yelled as she was escorted from the room. At this point, Murray prompted Blinken to continue. WATCH: rumble.com/v3sv3ei-pro-hamas-insurrectionists-derail-antony-blinken-senate-hearing-murderer.htmlMany American protesters have protested in support of Hamas since the terrorist group launched its October 7 attack against Israel. The brutal assault killed the highest number of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust. Some protesters even blame Israel for the Hamas terrorist attacks. President Biden’s administration has opposed a ceasefire and supports Israel’s right to self-defense. However, U.S. officials have also urged Israel to delay a ground invasion and to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. As of Tuesday, Hamas has released four American hostages. White House national security spokesperson John Kirby said less than ten Americans are being held hostage in Gaza. Kirby would not specify the exact number. link

Cornell Student Arrested in Case of Death Threats Against Jewish Students
By Kristinn Taylor Oct. 31, 2023 9:20 pm Patrick Dai, a 21-year-old junior at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York was arrested Tuesday in the case of vicious anti-Semitic death threats against Jewish Cornell students posted on a message board over the weekend. The messages threatened a mass shooting at the building hosting the kosher dining hall and a call for people to slit the throats of Jewish students. The arrest was announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York. The threats prompted a police response and forced Jewish students to hide in their rooms. Earlier on Tuesday Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) announced a person of interest in the case had been taken into custody. Screen images of some of the messages that were posted to Greekrank: Statement by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York: SYRACUSE, NEW YORK – Patrick Dai, age 21, a junior at Cornell University who is originally from Pittsford, New York, was arrested today on a federal criminal complaint charging him with posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications. The announcement was made by United States Attorney Carla B. Freedman; Alfred Watson, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Albany Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI); New York State Police Acting Superintendent Dominick L. Chiumento; and Cornell University Police Chief Anthony Bellamy. The complaint alleges that Dai posted threatening messages to the Cornell section of an online discussion site, including posts calling for the deaths of Jewish people and a post that said “gonna shoot up 104 west.” According to information provided by Cornell University Police and other public information, 104 West is a Cornell University dining hall that caters predominantly to Kosher diets and is located next to the Cornell Jewish Center, which provides residences for Cornell students. In another post, Dai allegedly threatened to “stab” and “slit the throat” of any Jewish males he sees on campus, to rape and throw off a cliff any Jewish females, and to behead any Jewish babies. In that same post, Dai threatened to “bring an assault rifle to campus and shoot all you pig jews.” The charges and the allegations in the complaint are merely accusations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. The charge filed against Dai carries a maximum term of 5 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and a term of supervised release of up to 3 years. A defendant’s sentence is imposed by a judge based on the particular statute the defendant is charged with violating, the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other factors. Dai is expected to make his initial appearance tomorrow in federal court in Syracuse, New York, before a United States Magistrate Judge. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), which includes the New York State Police, is investigating this case along with the Cornell University Police Department and the Ithaca Police Department. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York is prosecuting the case, in conjunction with the Counterterrorism Section of the Department of Justice. Cornell has been embroiled in anti-Semitic behavior since the October 7 terror attack on Israel by Hamas. A professor spoke in support of the attack at a rally and anti-Israel graffiti was spray-painted in campus. Then came the death threats posted online. link

Hamas Terrorist Attack Ignites Open Hatred of Jews Around the World
SIMON KENT1 Nov 20233,530 7:43 Hamas terrorists kicked the lid off hell and invaded Israel on October 7 in a barbaric attack that included mass rape, murder, torture, and kidnappings. Ever since from the streets of Berlin, Paris, Rome and on to the very heart of London, New York’s Times Square, and the steps of the Sydney Opera House, there has been a dramatic surge in anti-Jewish hatred. The Hamas attacks, a pogrom in everything from name to historical definition, have left Jewish people reeling from a multitude of threats. Here are just a few of the recent examples of Jews being publicly vilified and in some cases attacked simply for their faith and belief Israel has every right to exist. Germany Segments of the Jewish population in Berlin are being forced to consider a question many once thought unthinkable in the wake of the atrocities committed by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi followers and the subsequent promises of “never again” — is it time to leave Germany? Spiegel International reports testimonies from a host of Jews in the national capital are worried about their futures and those of their families as a rising tide of antisemitism is seen once more to cast a shadow across the city. In recent days assailants hurled two molotov cocktails at a synagogue in central Berlin and the Star of David was found daubed on the facades of several buildings where Jews live in Berlin. Demonstrators hold a Palestinian national flag and a sign that shows portrait of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu converting to Nazi Germany’s leader Adolf Hitler during a rally in Brussels, on October 22, 2023. (NICOLAS MAETERLINCK/Belga/AFP via Getty) The attacks have come even as German citizen Shani Louk has been confirmed as a victim of the horrific Hamas attack. Antisemitic acts have increased sharply in the country amid the latest turmoil in the Middle East, the Federal Association of Research and Information Centres on Anti-Semitism (RIAS) confirmed to AFP. France As Breitbart News reported, Stars of David were spray painted on homes in Paris on Tuesday night in what political leaders called a chilling evocation of “the 1930s.” Some 60 Stars of David were left stenciled on walls in the 14th arrondissement of the French capital as the nation as a whole deals with a rise in antisemitic incidents. The move recalled the same markings being delivered on Jewish-owned businesses in Berlin which were marked with the Star of David during the rise to power of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi Party. Since the terrorist organization Hamas attacked Israel, leading to a war in Gaza, the French Interior Ministry reported nearly 800 anti-Semitic incidents in France. On Sunday, the French Minister of Justice Eric Dupond-Moretti, reported more than 400 arrests for “anti-Semitic acts.” Australia Hamas supporters chanted “Gas the Jews” in front of the world-famous Sydney Opera House in the days after the Hamas attack, as recorded in a video shared by the Australian Jewish Association. The October 9 crowd of several hundred people, mostly immigrant Muslims, also chanted, “Allahu Akbar” (“Allah is Supreme!”) and “fudge the Jews,” as a line of police passively watched on. The event was held to celebrate Hamas’ massacre of Jews and its simultaneous attacks on Israeli security forces. The protesters waved their home country flags, including the flags of Turkey and Lebanon. Some waved the flag adopted by people who identify as Palestinians. The Australian government warned Jewish people to stay away from the pro-Hamas celebrations. United Kingdom Members of the Jewish community in London have been forced to lift security at synagogues, schools, and other community buildings in the wake of the Hamas terrorist attack. The reason for the increased protection is simple; a corresponding rise in antisemitism rates reported across the UK capital, as Breitbart News reported. There has been a 1,350 percent jump in hate crimes against Jewish people as the Middle East crisis goes on, the Metropolitan police have said, with no arrests so far in nine out of ten alleged offences. Women Tear Down Posters of Israeli Kidnapping Victims in North London (Video at link below) AFP reports in the period since in London alone, where there have been several large-scale protests in support of Palestinians in Gaza, the Met said it had recorded 408 anti-Semitic offences between October 1 and 27. That compares to just 28 in the same period last year, the force said on Friday, with several Jewish schools in London forced to shut temporarily. Russia The most chilling antisemitic incident globally was the storming of an airport in Russia’s Dagestan region on Sunday by an enraged crowd looking for Jews to attack after a flight arrived from Tel Aviv, as Breitbart News reported. Rabbi Alexander Boroda, president of Russia’s Federation of Jewish Communities, said in response anti-Israeli sentiment had morphed into open aggression towards Russian Jews. Shneor Segal, the chief Ashkenazi rabbi of Azerbaijan, said the incident showed “antisemites will use any excuse – the current Middle East crisis being just the latest – to terrorise the dwindling numbers of us that still remain” in the Caucasus. “And where do they think they are chasing these Jews away to? The very country whose existence is such an abomination to them!” he said, referring to Israel. The incident comes just days after a similar mob of hundreds of Islamic Dagestan locals ransacked a hotel in the city of Khasavyurt after rumours reportedly emerged on local social media that Israelis had taken up residence in the hotel. South Africa Reuters reports in Johannesburg, pro-Palestinian protesters marched to an area with a large Jewish community on Saturday, tearing off pictures of Israeli hostages in Gaza from the perimeter walls of a community centre while a Shabbat service was being held at a nearby synagogue. There were other protests in the coastal city of Cape Town. (RODGER BOSCH/AFP via Getty Images) “I feel rage towards the people who are trying to curtail my freedom of religion and my freedom of movement, for the most part based on their antisemitism,” said Akiva Carr, who was in the Johannesburg synagogue when the incident took place. USA Antisemitism in the U.S. is reaching “historic levels” in the wake of violence in Israel and Gaza, FBI Director Christopher Wray has warned. Speaking to a senate panel on Tuesday, the BBC reports Wray said 60 percent of all religious-based hate crimes targeted Jewish people. Pro-Palestinian Protesters Occupy Federal Office Building on Capitol Hill (Video at link below) IfNotNow via Storyful He added that the figure had likely increased amid anger caused by the ongoing violence in Gaza. “This is a threat that is reaching, in some way, sort of historic levels,” Wray told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. He added although Jews make up only about 2.4 percent of the U.S. public, they account for about 60 percent of all religious-based hate crimes. Pro-Palestinian marchers protest Israel’s attacks on Gaza at a rally held at Pershing Square on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 in Los Angeles, CA. (Irfan Khan / Los Angeles Times via Getty Images) “The Jewish community is targeted by terrorists really across the spectrum,” he testified. Just hours before Wray spoke, New York officials questioned a person after threats were made against Jewish pupils at Cornell University. The Cornell Daily Sun reported students were alerted when violent posts appeared on an online forum from a user named Hamas Soldier with threats “to bring an assault rifle to campus and shoot all you pig jews.” “If I see a pig male Jew, I will stab you and slit your throat,” read one post. Another post pledged to “bomb a Jewish house in retaliation for the murder of 500 martyrs.” link

Report: Jordanian Arrested in Texas Was ‘Plotting to Attack a Jewish Gathering’tack a Jewish Gathering’United States District Court Southern District of Texas JOSHUA CAPLAN 2 Nov 2023 4:28 A Jordanian national was arrested in Houston, Texas, last month on a federal firearm possession charge and was “plotting to attack a Jewish gathering,” according to a report. CNN reports: Sohaib Abuayyash, 20, who is in the United States on an expired nonimmigrant visa, made “statements to others that support the killing of individuals of particular religious faiths,” and “referenced an event in Houston for members of a particular religious group,” according to a federal court judge who ordered the man be detained pending trial. … The affidavit also says Abuayyash “has been in direct contact with others who share a radical mindset, has been conducting physical training, and has trained with weapons to possibly commit an attack.” … But in an order of detention pending trial document filed on October 24, US Magistrate Judge Christina A. Bryan wrote that Abuayyash “has viewed specific and detailed content posted by radical organizations on the internet including lessons on how to construct bombs or explosive devices; and that Defendant has made statements to others that support the killing of individuals of particular religious faiths.” Read the full report here. FBI Director Christopher Wray, during his Tuesday remarks before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, alluded to Abuayyash, though the nation’s top law enforcement official did not mention him by name. The Associated Press FBI Director Christopher Wray testifies before a House Committee on the Judiciary oversight hearing, July 12, 2023, on Capitol Hill in Washington. (AP Photo/Patrick Semansky, File) “The reality is that the terrorism threat has been elevated throughout 2023, but the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole other level,” Wray told lawmakers. “Here in the United States, our most immediate concern is that violent extremists — individuals or small groups — will draw inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks against Americans going about their daily lives,” the FBI head added. “That includes not just homegrown violent extremists inspired by a foreign terrorist organization but also domestic violent extremists targeting Jewish or Muslim communities. We’ve seen that already with the individual we arrested last week in Houston who’d been studying how to build bombs and posted online about his support for killing Jews.” In a statement to CNN, an FBI Houston field office confirmed that Wray was referring to Abuayyash in his comments. “I am deeply concerned by reports of a possible terrorist plot to attack the Jewish community in Houston,” Rep. Lizzie Fletcher (D-TX) said in a statement obtained by Houston Public Media.“As anti-semitic threats against Jews in the United States have reached historic levels in recent weeks, it is critical that we ensure the safety of Jewish families in Texas’ Seventh Congressional District and across our country.” Concerns surrounding a potential attack on the Jewish community in the U.S. and around the world coincide with Israel’s ongoing military response to Hamas’s terror attack on the Jewish state, which killed 1,400 people and left thousands more wounded. Antisemitic attacks around the world have soared in the last year, according to newly published research co-produced by leading Jewish bodies. The Jerusalem Post reports: In the wake of the recent Hamas massacre, a disconcerting report has been released, revealing a 500% surge in antisemitic incidents globally compared to the same timeframe the previous year. This study, jointly conducted by the World Zionist Organization (WZO), the Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Ministry, and the Jewish Agency, sheds light on the mounting challenges Jewish communities face amidst escalating geopolitical tensions. “The current levels of antisemitism are unparalleled in the past decade. The war is undeniably the chief catalyst. This should be a wake-up call for both the state and its citizens,” an official at WZO said in a statement. In particular, U.S. college campuses have experienced an “alarming rise” in antisemitic incidents as pro-Palestinian students protest against Israel over its response to Hamas’s attack. In the wake of the bloody assault, student groups at colleges across the U.S. — namely Harvard University — expressed support for the Palestinians and even went as far as to suggest Israel was to blame for the assault. link

Illegal Alien Living in Texas Caught ‘Studying How to Build Bombs’ to Attack Jews
Frank Bergman November 3, 2023 - 3:01 pm An illegal alien has been arrested in Texas after authorities caught the Jordanian national “studying how to build bombs” to launch a terror attack against Jewish-American people. The illegal, 20-year-old Sohaib Abuayyash, was reportedly training to target Jews in a possible attack on U.S. soil. The case was cited by FBI Director Chris Wray as an example of the increased risk of terror attacks in the United States. “We’ve already seen that with the individual we arrested last week in Houston who had been studying how to build bombs and posted online his support for killing Jews,” Wray said during a congressional hearing this week. FOX 26 reportedly confirmed from an FBI source that Wray was referring to Abuayyash. Publicly filed court documents show Abuayyash was in the country illegally. According to court documents obtained by the TV station, the Jordanian national first arrived in the U.S. as a minor on June 2, 2016, on a B2 tourism visa. He left the country about two months later. However, Abuayyash later returned to America illegally. According to the report, he used false documents to enter the country before claiming asylum. He was recently granted permission to work in the U.S. under Democrat President Joe Biden’s immigration policies. “Using a Palestine passport, Abuayyash returned to the United States in June 2019,” FOX 26 stated. “In January 2020, Abuayyash applied for an Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal, which is still pending. “In August 2023, Abuayyash was approved for an employment authorization in the United States, allowing him to work in the U.S. until August 1, 2025. “Abuayyash’s immigration status doesn’t allow him to possess or use firearms or ammunition.” Abuayyash was arrested in the Houston area in October for unlawful possession of a firearm, according to federal court documents. A public defender for Abuayyash declined to comment to Fox News Digital. He previously allegedly posted several images and videos of him training with firearms on social media accounts. According to CBS News, the judge’s order that detained him states that he hopes to fight in support of the terrorist group Hamas. Abuayyash “has made statements that he wants to go to Gaza to fight,” the judge noted. Meanwhile, Wray revealed Tuesday that the FBI is not currently tracking any credible threats against the U.S. from terrorist groups. “Here in the United States our most immediate concern is that violent extremist individuals or small groups will draw inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks against Americans going about their daily lives,” Wray said, according to Houston Public Media. link

Pro-Palestinian Demonstrators Call for ‘Intifada’ Against Israel in Washington D.CLARA GWINN 4 Nov 2023 Demonstrators called for “intifada” against Israel in the streets of Washington, DC, on Saturday, where tens of thousands gathered in Freedom Plaza for the District’s “largest pro-Palestinian protest in years,” according to reports. “In a call and response, a woman can be heard saying into a microphone ‘Long live the intifada,’ to which the crowd responds, ‘Intifada, intifada, intifada,'” the Times of Israel reported. Watch the video here: Protestors gather to hold a pro-Palestinian rally at the Freedom Plaza in Washington DC, on November 4, 2023. (Celal Gunes/Anadolu via Getty Images) “Intifada” is the name for the violent riots that have occurred against Israel since the late 1980s, Breitbart News reported: The term Intifada, which literally translates to “Stone Uprising,” refers to years of violent Palestinian riots against Israel starting in 1987 on the 20th anniversary of Israel’s war against Egypt and Jordan. A so-called “second Intifada” was launched in 2000 and lasted for around five years, during which time over 1,000 Israelis and over 3,000 Palestinians were killed. Demonstrators gather in Freedom Plaza during a rally in support of Palestinians in Washington, DC, on November 4, 2023. (OLIVIER DOULIERY/AFP via Getty Images) The Israeli Embassy reported Saturday that antisemitic messages, including “Death to Israel,” “F*ck Israel,” “Gaza is going to win,” and “Glory to our martyrs,” had been illegally painted on the sides of buildings prior to the protest. Watch the video here: Saturday’s protesters chanted “Free Palestine” and “From the river to the sea Palestine will be free” as they called for ceasefire in Gaza and a stop to Israeli aid from the U.S. The protesters then moved down a few blocks, where they stood in front of the White House and shouted, “Guilty,” while waving signs portraying President Joe Biden as a clown with the words “Genocide Joe,” and other signs calling Biden a “child murderer.” The pro-Palestinian protesters’ demands come after Hamas militants killed more than 1,400 innocent people in Israel and kidnapped an estimated 100 to 200 more in a series of terrorist attacks in southern Israel on October 7. Demonstrators gather in Freedom Plaza during a rally in support of Palestinians in Washington, DC, on November 4, 2023. (STEFANI REYNOLDS/AFP via Getty Images) “One protestor was also seen carrying a Hezbollah flag through the crowd, marking a somber moment where a terrorist organization’s symbol was cheered outside the White House,” the Daily Mail reported. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators also called for intifada on Israel during a protest in London last week, where an estimated 100,000 anti-Israel protesters flooded the streets. ‘Kill the Babies!’ Anti-Israel Hecklers Taunt Jews at Stroller Protest
JOEL B. POLLAK 5 Nov 2023 Hecklers shouted “kill the babies” to taunt a protest Sunday organized by Jews in Skokie, Illinois, to highlight the fact that 30 children, including babies, are being held hostage by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas in Gaza. The Times of Israel reported: Jewish community members in Skokie outside of Chicago have organized an exhibit of 30 empty strollers to raise awareness about the 30 children currently being held hostage in Gaza along with roughly 210 others. … Several people driving by shout obscenities at the Jewish participants, including, “kill the babies!” A source told Breitbart News that more drivers and passersby were supportive of the protest than opposed. Skokie, Illinois, is a disproportionately Jewish suburb of Chicago. It became internationally famous when neo-Nazis tried to march through the suburb in 1978, hoping to antagonize the large population of Holocaust survivors there; the neo-Nazis won a First Amendment case in federal court but called off their protest. The diverse and tolerant nature of the suburb has drawn many immigrants there, including Muslims; it now houses Chicago’s first major Muslim elementary school. The Jewish and Muslim communities live in peace, but radical pro-Palestinian activists have lately caused tensions between the two in the wake of the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas in Israel. There are 241 hostages known to be in Gaza, including children, the elderly, and the disabled. Israel has vowed to make every effort to free them, even as it wages a war to destroy Hamas. A similar stroller protest to the one in Skokie was organized in Tel Aviv, Israel (as shown in the photo above the article). Pro-Palestinian protesters have been at pains to obscure information about the hostages, and have been filmed around the world ripping down posters showing the names and faces of the hostages. link

Tens of Thousands of Anti-Israel Protesters Flood Streets of Washington D.C
Frank Bergman November 5, 2023 - 10:14 am The streets of Washington D.C. were flooded with tens of thousands of anti-Israel protesters on Saturday. Disturbing scenes show pro-Hamas demonstrators demanding that Israel stop defending itself against terrorist attacks. The protests are calling for a “ceasefire” over the Jewish state’s response to the October 7 terror attacks that saw Hamas murder hundreds of innocent civilians, including children and American citizens. The demonstrators in D.C. are accusing Israel of a “massacre of civilians” in Hamas-controlled Gaza. However, there was no mention of the Israeli people killed by Hamas. “We’re here to say we support freedom for Palestine,” ANSWER Coalition media coordinator Walter Smolarek said, according to NBC Washington. “We’re here to demand a cease-fire now. “We demand an end to the massacre of civilians in Gaza.” “We’re gathered here because we believe that the Palestinian people have the right to live in freedom, have the right to live in peace and without being subjected to constant bombardments, to constant imprisonment, harassment, the occupation of their land,” Smolarek added. The huge crowd of protesters took over downtown D.C. in disturbing scenes not seen since the holocaust. WATCH: The pro-Hamas demonstrators gathered at Freedom Plaza. WATCH: During the protests, one pro-Hamas speaker called on the crowd to rebel against Israel using “any means necessary.” “And I do mean any means necessary!” they asserted. WATCH: Some estimates have suggested that the size of the pro-Hamas crowd may have been over 300,000 people. Roger Waters says there is 'something fishy' about Oct. 7, suggests 'false flag operation' 😡😡😡
“We don’t know if we will ever get much of the story,” Waters told Glenn Greenwald. "They’re calling it their 9/11. What actually happened on the American 9/11? Nobody knows." By JERUSALEM POST STAFF NOVEMBER 7, 2023 20:27 Updated: NOVEMBER 8, 2023 02:12 Roger Waters, the Pink Floyd frontman and frequent pontificator on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, said in an interview last week that there was something “very fishy” about Hamas's October 7 attack on Israelis. He questioned whether Hamas actually targeted civilians, and suggested that it may have been a “false flag operation.” “We don’t know if we will ever get much of the story,” the 80-year-old rocker and activist told Glenn Greenwald, on a Rumble-exclusive podcast interview. ‘They’re calling it their 9/11. What actually happened on the American 9/11? Nobody knows.” “Do you think what Hamas did on October 7 can be justified?” Greenwald asked. “Well, we don’t know what they did do,” Waters responded. “Was it justified to resist the occupation? Yeah,” he went on, “it’s the Geneva Conventions. They are absolutely legally and morally bound to resist the occupation since 1967.” Waters’s timing presumably refers to Israel’s conquest of Gaza, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights during the Six-Day War. Although the status of these territories is disputed, all of the communities targeted by Hamas on October 7 fall within Israel’s internationally-recognized borders. The Geneva Convention, which Rogers cited to justify attacks on Israel, prohibits the targeting of civilians, as well as any “acts or threats of violence” whose primary purpose is to “spread terror among the civilians.” Waters refuses to state that Hamas targeted civilians “Are there limits,” Greenwald asked, “on the way in which [Palestinians] can resist?” “If war crimes were committed,” Waters said, “I condemn them,” but he refused to say definitively that such crimes had taken place. “Haaretz,” he said, citing a prominent Israeli newspaper that publishes in both Hebrew and English, “have finally come out with figures of how many were killed. Probably the first 400 were Israeli military personnel, and that is not a war crime.” It is unclear what article Waters was referring to. Haaretz, like the Jerusalem Post, maintains a running list of those murdered, taken hostage, or killed in battle since the October 7 attack. The list, which includes the more than 260 Israelis whom Hamas murdered at an outdoor music festival during the early hours of the attack, prominently displays children, the elderly, and foreign nationals. If civilians were targeted, Waters said, “Of course, I don’t condone that. But the thing is, it was thrown out of all proportion, by the Israelis making up stories about beheading babies. They even got the President of the United States, dotard that he is, to claim that he had seen photographs.” "They even got the President of the United States, dotard that he is, to claim that he had seen photographs.” Roger Waters President Biden did refer to photos of beheaded babies in the days following the attack, comments that inflamed controversy when he later clarified that he'd seen reports of the photos rather than the photos themselves. The Jerusalem Post confirmed on October 12 that photos of burnt and decapitated babies had been shown to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a visit to Israel. An IDF spokesman, Jonathan Conricus, also said that Hamas had likely carried out decapitations of babies in kibbutz Be’eri, and forensic investigators later confirmed the discovery of babies without heads, though they could not confirm whether the heads were removed after the babies were killed. Forensic teams have also confirmed signs of torture, rape, and other atrocities. A forty-seven-minute video of footage from the attacks, taken largely from cameras on the terrorists themselves, has been screened in recent weeks for foreign journalists, Members of Knesset, and others. Although not all of this video is public, at the request of the families of those depicted, much of the footage is available online, for example on october7.org. Greenwald and Waters condemn Israel’s response in Gaza Despite Waters’ skepticism about the events of October 7, neither he nor Greenwald expressed qualms about condemning Israel’s handling of the war with Hamas in response to the attack. “I don’t recall anything that has made me sicker or more disgusted,” Greenwald said, “than seeing the level of suffering that’s taking place in Gaza. It’s “one of the worst crimes, if not the worst crime, I’ve seen in my life.” Asked whether he seems to value Palestinian lives more than Israeli lives, Waters called the suggestion “absolute patent nonsense, complete rubbish. No, I don’t.” He said that this was the difference between his view and that of the Israeli government. “I believe in equal human rights for all our brothers and sisters all over the world,” Waters said. “The Israeli government doesn’t,” he charged, and “that’s why they are committing genocide” against the Palestinians. “I’m sorry to grit my teeth,” Waters said, “but I weep. You said this is the most horrific thing in your lifetime. It is, in my lifetime. I’m eighty years old, this is the most horrific thing to happen in front of my eyes." Neither mentions kidnappings, captivity of civilians in Gaza At no point in the nine-minute clip posted to YouTube did either Waters or Greenwald mention the 240 hostages currently held in Gaza, about 30 of whom are children. More than a thousand experts and practitioners from the fields of child welfare and child psychology have signed an open letter to the Secretary-General of the UN calling for all possible action to secure their immediate release. link

“Throw the K*k*s” Out!” Jewish Students Attacked by Pro-Palestinian Mob at Concordia University in Montreal
By Kristinn Taylor Nov. 8, 2023 7:15 pm Jewish students at Concordia University in Montreal were attacked on Wednesday by a pro-Palestinian mob angered the students had set up a table in support of the over 200 Israelis kidnapped last month by the Islamist terrorist group Hamas. The ‘K’ word flew from the nasty mouths of the pro-Palestinian mob, with a chant of “Throw the k*k*s out!” being heard and a woman seen on video shouting “F*****g k*k*!” at a Jewish student. An attempt to steal an Israeli flag was captured on video. A student reported the mob threatened the Jewish students, saying, “We’ll see you after class, be ready.” News reports state that police remained at the scene for three hours, with one person being arrested for assaulting a security officer and one student and one security officer suffering minor injuries that did not require hospitalization. The Jewish students stood their ground despite repeated assaults. Video posted by a Jewish Concordia student. At the end of the video an attractive young woman wearing a white sweater enthusiastically leads the mob in a chant of, “Throw the k*k*s out!” “Here, you can see “activists” taunting and threatening Jewish students with violence after a solidarity demonstration for the kidnapped in Gaza. One girl said, “We’ll see you after class, be ready.” In this video another attractive young woman calls a Jewish student a “F*****g k*k*”, and then is kissed by a Muslim woman. Mob tries to steal an Israeli flag and chants, “Free, free Palestine!” Compilation video opens with Israeli flag being stolen: Another compilation video: A rabbi presented one demonstrator with a tefillin, tying it to his bicep as he stood at the Jewish students’ booth, “When hate showed its ugly face at @concordia today, we respond with love.” Excerpt from CBC report: …Around 1:30 p.m., calls were made to 911 regarding a conflict on de Maisonneuve Boulevard near Mackay Street in the Ville-Marie borough, according to Montreal police spokesperson Const. Caroline Chèvrefils. …During their intervention, police arrested a 22-year-old student for allegedly assaulting the security guard. He was then released on a promise to appear in court, Chèvrefils said. A second security guard,19, and another student, 23, were injured by assaults during the altercation. All three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were not transported to hospital. Police were on the scene until 4:15 p.m., Chèvrefils said, and the investigation is ongoing. Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante commented on the attack, promising a police investigation as well as one into a recent Molotov cocktail attack on a synagogue: (Translated) “Acts of violence such as those that affected Concordia students today and the attack on a synagogue yesterday are unacceptable. These hateful acts have absolutely no place in Montreal; a city of peace, security and kindness. Each event will be the subject of an investigation by @spvm, which will not skimp on the means to maintain the security of our metropolis. More than ever, we must resist violence, stay united and demonstrate for peace. link

HAPPENING NOW: Anti-Israel Radicals Infiltrate and ‘Occupy’ Offices of the New York Times (VIDEO)
By Mike LaChance Nov. 9, 2023 8:40 pm Anti-Israel radicals marching in New York City tonight have sourrounded and then infiltrated the offices of the New York Times. The mob believes that the far left New York Times is being too sympathetic to Israel in their coverage of the conflict in Gaza. They are chanting ‘shut it down’ outside the building. A police car in front of the building has been spray-painted with pro-Hamas graffiti. Part of the mob has made it inside the building and is ‘occupying’ the offices, chanting anti-Israel slogans. Once again, the radical left is allowed to run wild and basically do whatever they want with no fear of consequences. link

Suspect Released Without Charges in Murder of Detroit Synagogue Leader
By Jim Hᴏft Nov. 11, 2023 7:40 pm A suspect who was in custody in connection with the murder of Samantha Woll, a Jewish community leader in Detroit, was released without charges. The Detroit Free Press reports that a suspect apprehended earlier this week in the murder of Samantha Woll, a prominent synagogue leader, has been released without charges. Samantha Woll, 40, was a respected synagogue president and a well-known figure in Democratic circles. The tragic incident, which took place on October 21st, saw Woll fatally stabbed in her Detroit residence. Woll was the political director for MI Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel’s re-election campaign in 2022. AG Nessel is best known for using her position to commit lawfare against her political opponents and for her public drunken antics. Woll founded the Muslim-Jewish Forum of Detroit, an organization created to build better relations between Muslims and Jews. Michigan has one of the largest Muslim populations in America and the 6th largest Palestinian population. The suspect, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, was arrested in Kalamazoo late Tuesday. Remarkably, the individual was reported to have had a close relationship with Woll, even attending her funeral, according to multiple sources. Allison Kriger, the attorney representing the suspect, confirmed his release. However, she refrained from making further comments on the case, citing the inappropriateness of discussing ongoing criminal investigations. As of Friday afternoon, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office had not received a warrant request related to Woll’s murder. The suspect’s release occurred shortly after Detroit police executed a search warrant at his residence earlier this week. This detail was provided by a source familiar with the ongoing investigation. Under Michigan law, criminal suspects cannot be held for more than three days without formal charges. This legal stipulation likely influenced the decision to release the suspect. The Detroit Police Department, maintaining a cautious approach to the sensitive case, declined to offer any comment on Friday to the Detroit Free Press. Woll’s Detroit home is located in anti-Semite and proud Palestinian-American Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s district, which includes Dearborn, the city with the largest Muslim population per capita in America. Unfortunately, Rep. Rashida Tlaib has done nothing to quell the rising tensions between Jews and Muslims in her district. Instead, she is spending her time in D.C., protesting against Israel with pro-Palestine insurrectionists at the Capitol. link

Another Leftist Insurrection? HUNDREDS Of Pro-Hamas Agitators INVADE Locked University of Michigan Building, Bully Cops, and Scream Slogans Calling For Israel’s Destruction (VIDEOS)
By Cullen Linebarger Nov. 17, 2023 8:40 pm This is what a real insurrection looks like. But don’t expect them to receive decades in prison. CBS News reported that a radical Palestinian “advocacy” group stormed a prominent campus building on the University of Michigan’s campus. And they were not there to protest Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh’s suspension by the Big Ten. The network reported the group, Members of the Students Allied for Freedom and Equality (SAFE), allied with a coalition of 45 leftist student organizations to demand the university divest from companies they claim are contributing to the crisis in Gaza. Of course, they are not blaming Hamas, the real culprit, because they support the Islamist group against Israel. A U of M spokesperson told CBS News at least 200 protestors “forcefully gained access to a locked Ruthven Administration Building.” Students are still in the building at the moment. Before the invasion, you can see the protesters corner the campus police while chanting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” which codes for wiping Israel off the map. WATCH: Here is footage showing the invading mob bullying campus police and climbing all over each other to take over the Ruthven Building. The cops try to hold them back but are overpowered. They were also reportedly heard chanting, “Intifada, Intifada, long live the Intifada!” and “Death to Israel!” Another video shows them piling in like sardines and screaming, “The people united will never be defeated!” Draw your own conclusions regarding what they mean by that. A recent video shows the hordes of students occupying the building while a woman goes on an unhinged rant accusing Israel of orchestrating a genocide against the Palestinian people. She also accused the administrators of contributing to it. link

OUTRAGE: Anti-Israel Protesters Who Shut Down the Bay Bridge Prevented Couriers From Delivering Organs for Transplant Surgeries
By Mike LaChance Nov. 17, 2023 9:20 pm This week, left wing protesters who are siding with Hamas over Israel took over and shut down the Bay Bridge in California. This decision not only prevented people from getting to work, it prevented couriers from delivering organs needed for transplant surgeries. Imagine being in the hospital for life-saving surgery and learning that the organ you’re depending on can’t reach you because some protesters have decided that their stunt is more important than your life. It is for this and other obvious safety reasons that shutting down roadways should not ever be allowed as an acceptable form of protest. ABC 7 in the Bay Area reported: Around 80 protesters arrested after abandoning cars, blocking westbound Bay Bridge, CHP says Around 80 protesters have been arrested and cars have been towed after they blocked all westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge Thursday morning. The protest started around 7:45 a.m. and no cars were able to get into San Francisco for hours. Westbound lanes of the bridge could be seen empty as traffic backed up and all lanes didn’t reopen until just before noon. Images show cars blocking the lanes on the eastern span of the bridge as the protesters call for a cease-fire in the Middle East. Protesters were lying down with white sheets over their bodies that said “Stop the genocide.” It wasn’t just commuters stuck in traffic. UCSF tells ABC7 News that three couriers trying to deliver organs for transplants were also caught in the delays. At least one surgery was canceled. “We expect there will be more problems with patients in the afternoon who are trying to arrive now for surgery,” explains Garrett Roll, Associate Professor of Transplant Surgery at UCSF. Just look at these fools. The left will not stop doing this until there are harsh consequences for doing it. link

Pro-Hamas Protestors Try to Take Over FOX News Headquarters in NYC (VIDEO)
By Mike LaChance Nov. 17, 2023 10:00 pm Left wing pro-Hamas protesters tried to take over the headquarters of FOX News in New York City this week. These people constantly claim to be against colonialism, but what do they do? They invade and try to take over the spaces of other people. The irony is completely lost on them. More than half of these dopes probably don’t even understand the historical and political implications of what they’re protesting. RedState reported: They’re back! Fresh from their one-night attempted takeover of the DNC in Washington, D.C., a cabal of Hamas-loving protesters somehow muscled their way into the New York City headquarters of Fox News on Friday… It was, therefore, no surprise that Fox News found itself as one of those targets. They’re the enemy of the left on a typical day; they’re really in the crosshairs right now because they don’t toe the antisemitic line advocated by the pro-Hamas crowd (and many in the Democrat Party). The Friday incident saw around thirty members of the radically leftist and antisemitic ANSWER Coalition, which has been behind many of the Pro-Hamas rallies in recent weeks, rush the lobby of the News Corp building, home to Fox News. One protestor banged a drum while the mob chanted, “Fox News, Fox News, you can’t hide, your lies cover up genocide.” The crowd looked very much like every other “from the river to the sea” gathering of recent weeks. Instead of pitchforks and torches, they wield megaphones and face masks. Always with the masks, these brave warriors. See a video below: When will anyone on the left face any real consequences for this kind of behavior? It just keeps happening and nothing is done about it. link

California Imam Calls to ‘Annihilate’ Zionist ‘Dogs,’ Accuses Israel of Fabricating Videos Like a ‘Hollywood Studio’
JOSHUA KLEIN 22 Nov 2023 3:20 Zionist “dogs” should be “annihilated,” according to an Islamic cleric in California who accused Israel of evildoing and fabricating videos “like a Hollywood studio,” as he expressed his longing for “the day that I get to listen to the last gasping breath of them hanging from the rope that Allah gave them to hang themselves.” In a sermon delivered Friday at the Middle Ground Muslim Center in Upland, California, Imam Marc Manley lashed out at the “Zionists,” whom he accused of knowingly perpetrating “evil.” “Do you think for one minute that these Zionists don’t know that what they are doing is evil? Of course they do,” he said. “It’s part of their whole national anthem to remind everybody on the face of the earth of how their parents and grandparents were slaughtered in death camps in Poland and in Germany.” “Of course, they know it’s evil,” he added. Noting the recent trend of young Americans exploring Islam, Manley stated that “every day people are taking their Shahada [profession of faith] because of the evil that the Zionists are doing to our brothers and sisters in Palestine and Gaza.” “People are becoming Muslim because of it. Even the people who aren’t becoming Muslim are seeing the light,” he added. Calling Israel “desperate” as a result, he accused the Jewish state of “literally” fabricating videos “like a Hollywood studio.” “They are constantly fabricating videos and getting caught, fabricating and getting caught,” he stated. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: REAL Horror of the Hamas Terror Attack on Civilians at Kibbutz Be’eri in Israel (Video at link) According to Manley, the practice is “only lengthening the rope that will eventually hang them like the dogs that they are.” He also expressed his hope that “Allah will bless me to see the day that I get to listen to the last gasping breath of them hanging from the rope that Allah gave them to hang themselves.” He also called for the complete eradication of the “Zionist dogs in Israel.” “Oh Allah, annihilate the Zionist dogs in Israel,” he said. “Annihilate them completely.” The matter comes as more and more sermons and lectures containing radical rhetoric from Islamic leaders in America and the West come to light. In October, a Colorado imam live-streamed a lecture for children that included a Quranic tale of Allah turning Jews into monkeys, as well as claims that Jews are predominantly deceptive and persistently “tricking us to trust them,” and it is ill-advised to “trust” or “do business” with them. It also comes as more and more Western youth are reportedly turning to the Quran, often adopting radicalized views in the process. Earlier in November, young TikTokers began promoting al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and his propaganda, as his “Letter to America” justifying the September 11 attacks went viral on the Chinese-owned social platform, with videos on the topic garnering millions of views. During the public debate on the Israel-Hamas war, a new generation of those mostly born after September 11, 2001, or too young to recall the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil in U.S. history, were seen defending bin Laden for his opposition to America and its support for Israel. link

Greta Thunberg Caught on Video Going Full Anti-Semite, Chanting 'Crush Zionism': Report
By Joe Saunders November 26, 2023 at 4:57pm When it comes to leftist extremists, Greta Thunberg keeps getting clearer. The 20-year-old Swedish agitator and poster girl for perpetually adolescent progressives hasn’t been shy about grabbing headlines since bursting onto the world scene in her mid-teens. First, she was anti-fossil fuels. Then she was anti-capitalism. Now, according to a report coming out of Stockholm, she’s a virulent anti-Semite, too. In a way it’s fitting that the world’s newest cause of fearmongering is coalescing with the world’s oldest racial hatred: Both are are grounded in irrational emotion. Both claim to be operating for the good of humanity. And both are inherently evil. According to a social media post published by the Svenska Epoch Times (Swedish Epoch Times), Thunberg was part of a raucous crowd that gathered last week outside the Israeli Embassy in the Swedish capital, chanting “krossa sionismen” — “crush Zionism.” The outlet also reported that Thunbererg attended another rally denouncing Israel in Stockholm last week — this one on Wednesday. To be fair, there’s only the Svenska Epoch Times report that Thunberg is the woman in the “crush Zionism” video. The normally media-magnetic Thunberg apparently wasn’t a headliner at the event — unlike her usual, hectoring public appearances. She also hasn’t been written up for it by her slavishly adoring fans in the press. And there’s been neither a confirmation nor a denial from the Thunberg camp nor her millions of social media-savvy acolytes. But her recent actions make it not only well within the realm of possibility but downright likely. Two weeks after the barbarous massacre in southern Israel by Hamas terrorist marauders, with plenty of time to digest the news about the slaughtered civilians, the innocent women and children taken hostage, the women raped, Thunberg decided to add to her political portfolio not by supporting Israel, not even by issuing a carefully worded message deploring the deaths on both sides. No, young Greta went full bore for the cause of the Palestinian terrorists, even linking it to her own trademark “climate change” brand by declaring that “today we strike in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza.” For good measure, she held a sign stating “Stand with Gaza,” to make the point, along with three other young women holding similar signs. https://www.instagram.com/p/CynzkCFM0yX A post shared by Greta Thunberg (@gretathunberg) So, we know pretty clearly whose side Ms. Thunberg is taking in the war between the civilization of Israel and the barbarism of Hamas: The barbarians’ side, naturally. We also know pretty well how the charming Greta feels about the state of Israel. At a Nov. 12 climate demonstration that she turned into a pro-Palestinian rally, she chanted, “No climate justice on occupied land.” Since Gaza is not “occupied” by Israel and hasn’t been since 2005, the logical conclusion is that she’s talking about the rest of the land that makes up the Jewish state. (The fact that the rally included the now-standard anti-Semitic chant “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” bears this out.) So, let’s posit that the video does in fact show Thunberg joining what amounts to a murderous chant outside the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm. It’s not at all shocking that the extreme leftism of the climate doomsayers would match up seamlessly with the anti-Semitism of the modern left. The most savagely anti-Semitic regime of the 20th century was, of course, Nazi Germany — a government wrongly considered right-wing when the word “socialism” part of the Nazi Party’s official name. Hitler even made common cause with the Islamists of his day. That’s followed by the Soviet Union — the communist regime that turned Russia and Eastern Europe behind the Iron Curtain into an open-air prison for its own people — but especially the Jews. The Soviet Union also supported Palestinian terrorism during the Cold War while the United States has been a firm friend of Israel. The Nazis and the Soviets have deservedly been left in the dustbin of history — the first by losing a world war, the second by losing a Cold War, but the leftist baton has been passed. The totalitarianism the Soviets and the Nazis sought to achieve by force is still being pursued, now under the guise of climate alarmism. Then as now, the totalitarians are leftist. Then, as now, the totalitarians hate Jews. Greta Thunberg is the leftists’ champion now. But she, and they, are headed for the dustbin of history, too. The young woman’s fascist priorities have been clear for some time now, but they keep getting clearer all the time. linkHer followers have to know that, too.

Pro-Palestinian Activists Disrupt Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting
NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 29: Pro-Palestine supporters gather for a rally at the Rockefeller tree lighting on November 29, 2023 in New York City. The rally comes as the initial four day truce between Israel and Hamas was extended by two days pausing the seven weeks of warfare …David Dee Delgado/Getty Images PAUL BOIS 29 Nov 2023 Another cadre of pro-Palestinian activists attempted to disrupt the much beloved Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting on Wednesday night. The protesters, estimated in the hundreds, swarmed the surrounding areas of Rockefeller Center and were seen clashing with police while chanting anti-Israel slogans like “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” “Waving Palestinian flags and signs calling for the ‘end to genocide,’ the ralliers gathered along Sixth Avenue alongside hordes of tourists waiting in line to see the iconic ceremony,” reported the New York Post. (Photo by Arturo Holmes/Getty Images) Kelly Clarkson performs during the 2023 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rockefeller Center on November 29, 2023, in New York City. (Arturo Holmes/Getty Images) The activists had been gathered outside the News Corp building, which also serves as home to the New York Post and Fox News. Video of the incident has been widely shared online: As noted by Fox News, the NYPD had been on high alert leading up to the tree lighting in fear of a possible clash with pro-Palestinian protesters: The New York City Police Department has issued a warning ahead of planned pro-Palestinian protests during the annual Rockefeller Center tree lighting on Wednesday night, according to a report. The NYPD Intelligence and Counterterrorism Bureau issued the threat assessment advisory to law enforcement and government agencies and noted that protesters could use the tree lighting “as an opportunity to draw attention to their own causes,” according to the memo obtained by ABC News. “While many of these actions would likely constitute First Amendment protected activity, they could prove disruptive to the event and potentially pose a security risk,” the assessment states. The disruption comes days after pro-Palestinian activists disrupted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade when they glued themselves to the street in the middle of the parade route. “Several protesters — wearing white jumpsuits with protest slogans and already splattered with red — interrupted the floats and balloons just before 11 a.m., forcing the parade to be halted,” noted the New York Post. “They walked 6th Avenue with large signs including ‘Liberation for Palestine and Planet,’ a message they also chanted,” it added. “Several then pretended to be dead on the ground as others walked around pouring fake blood over them and the road — with their chants met by loud boos from spectators.” Fox News noted that some activists were heard saying, “There is only one solution, intifada revolution. link

‘Heinous antisemitic chaos’ at Oakland City Council meeting
NOVEMBER 30, 2023 ANTISEMITISM CEASEFIRE GAZA HAMAS IDF - ISRAEL DEFENSE FORCE ISRAEL TERRORISM UNITED STATES (AMERICA) The city body voted to call for a permanent ceasefire in Israel, amid comments from community members promoting conspiracy theories that Israel attacked itself. A Nov. 27 Oakland City Council meeting descended into “heinous antisemitic chaos,” as the body voted to support a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, excising an amendment from a Jewish councilman that condemned Hamas, The New York Post reported. Antisemitic conspiracy theories were on display during the public comment portion of the meeting, prior to the unanimous passage of the resolution, sans Hamas condemnation. The amendment failed 2-6, with boos from the audience, which claimed it was “anti-Arab.” “There have not been beheadings of babies and rapings,” one speaker said. “Israel murdered their own people on Oct. 7.” “The notion that this was a massacre of Jews is a fabricated narrative,” said another speaker. “Many of those killed on Oct. 7, including children, were killed by the IDF.” A third said that “to hear them complain about Hamas violence is like listening to a wife-beater complain when his wife finally stands up and fights back.” Tye Gregory, CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council, said it was “one of the most antisemitic rooms” he had ever been in. “You can say these folks represent the lunatic fringe, but they got their way; the city council chose to not condemn Hamas,” wrote Jim Geraghty in National Review. “The outcome of the war will not depend upon what Oakland city officials say about it. But there was a proposal to denounce what is self-evidently evil, and it was rejected, likely in part because of Oakland citizens like this.” Geraghty noted that some in the crowd insisted that Hamas wasn’t responsible for the Oct. 7 terror attacks, while others said Hamas did carry out the attacks but was morally justified in doing so. “Curiously, you almost never hear or see these two groups of lunatics arguing with each other,” Geraghty wrote. “I suspect these groups rarely if ever argue with each other because both interpretations end in the same place: All Israelis, including everyone of every age who got slaughtered that day, are the villains, and all Palestinians, including everyone who committed every atrocity that day, are justified heroes.” link

Jew-hatred up 591% in Australia, 320% in Germany, synagogue arsonist gets 10 years
NOVEMBER 30, 2023 ANTISEMITISM EUROPE GAZA HAMAS HATE CRIME ISRAEL SWASTIKA TERRORISM UNITED STATES (AMERICA) Antisemitism roundup, Nov. 27-29 German police arrested two teens, who allegedly planned a terror attack on a synagogue and a Christmas market. Franklin Sechriest, 20, who pleaded guilty in April to setting fire to Congregation Beth Israel in Austin on Oct. 31, 2021, was sentenced to 10 years. Prosecutors cited “what they called Sechriest’s ‘deeply held’ antisemitic and racist beliefs,” USA Today reported. Antisemitic hate crimes in Germany from Oct. 7 to Nov. 9 reportedly increased 320% compared to that period in 2022. There has been a 591% increase in antisemitism in Australia over the past seven weeks, per the Executive Council of Australian Jewry. After getting heckled by anti-Israel hecklers, Brown University President Christina Paxson changed a prepared line in her speech—which read “Every student, faculty and staff member should be able to proudly wear a Star of David or don a keffiyeh on the Brown campus, or to cover their head with a hijab or yarmulke“—to remove the references to Star of David and yarmulke, National Review reported. (A university spokesman downplayed the change.) Swastikas were discovered on the front doors and adjacent brick facade of the Bagg Street Shul in Montreal, Canada, March 2023. Source: Twitter/Michal Cotler-Wunsch. A referee was fired after trying to force the Scheck Hillel girls basketball team to take “a moment of silence for the people of Gaza and Palestine.” The team plays for the Jewish middle school in Miami-Dade County. The referee reportedly told the middle schoolers, “Your behavior is disgusting. I will file a complaint against all you girls.” “Multiple” students from among the some 400 who rioted at a high school in Queens, N.Y., forcing a Jewish teacher to remain locked in her office, have been suspended. “Many of the students who were running and jumping had no idea what was even going on,” claimed David Banks, chancellor of New York City Schools. A local Jewish activist said Banks was playing “Monday-morning quarterback.” “As Jewish residents of southeast Michigan see friends and neighbors fearful of Islamophobia and violence against the Arab community, they also worry about antisemitic backlash and having their voices diluted in a complex, nuanced conversation,” PBS reported. (Per official U.S. statistics, antisemitic incidents represent more than half of all religion-based hate crimes in the country.) Antisemites vandalized the Hanford office of Rep. David Valadao (R-Calif.) in central California. Valadao said if they really cared about Palestinian children, then “they would also support the eradication of Hamas terrorists, who are actively using Palestinian hospitals and schools as cover for their military operations and putting thousands of Palestinian civilians at risk.” After MIT President Sally Kornbluth said students who take part in unsanctioned protests would face expulsion, she opted not to expel the antisemites “to protect foreign students, for whom expulsion would mean deportation,” Washington Free Beacon reported. Anti-Israel activists protested outside the memorial service for former first lady Rosalynn Carter, who passed away on Nov. 19. Someone threw a Molotov cocktail at the Jewish Community Council of Montreal. One of the building’s entrances was damaged. “We really feel attacked,” said Rabbi Saul Emanuel, executive director of the JCC. An antisemite who vandalized E.J.’s Pizzeria, a kosher restaurant in Skokie, Ill., was caught on security cameras. Police in Burbank, Calif., are searching for a suspect who spray-painted swastikas and other Nazi symbols on a synagogue. link

Antisemitic Mob Descends on Israeli-Owned Restaurant in Philadelphia
PAUL BOIS 3 Dec 2023 An antisemitic mob of pro-Palestinian protesters descended on an Israeli-owned falafel restaurant in Philadelphia while reportedly shouting a litany of hateful chants on Sunday night. “An antisemitic mob has descended on Michael Solomonov’s falafel restaurant in Philadelphia. They demand a boycott of Jewish goods. Michael Solomonov is a James Beard Award-winning chef. He makes some of the best hummus outside Israel, as well as outstanding lamb and other dishes,” announced commentator David Frum as he shared video of the chant. “Goldie, Goldie you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide” the protesters could be heard shouting. Goldie is the name of the restaurant. One person who witnessed the protest said the mob “continued their march down the street, but not before vandalizing the front windows.” “To clarify, I witnessed them placing stickers on the front door & windows of the restaurant. I just walked by – ‘Free Palestine” & “This is Genocide’ (serving falafel?) stickers plastered out front,” the witness added. Various commentators and politicians condemned the protest on a popular Philadelphia business. “Tonight in Philly, we saw a blatant act of antisemitism — not a peaceful protest. A restaurant was targeted and mobbed because its owner is Jewish and Israeli. This hate and bigotry is reminiscent of a dark time in history,” said Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro. “I can’t believe I even have to say this but targeting businesses simply because they’re Jewish-owned is despicable. Philadelphia stands against this sort of harassment and hate,” said Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-PA). “When our daughter was born, our wonderful friend (and fellow Pittsburgher) Mike Solomonov shipped us the best lamb dinner I’ve ever had. Today antisemites targeted one of Mike’s restaurants,” said Bari Weiss. “This is a disgrace. I have nothing in common with the kind of bigoted dirtbags who behave like this. Keep this up, and we’re going to have a right proper violent civil conflict,” said Rod Dreher. “This ‘protest’ is despicable — antisemitism, plain and simple. I call on everyone who cares about our Jewish community to support Goldie’s. There are more supporters who care than antisemites who hate,” said Dave McCormick. According to the Inquirer, “the night ended largely without incident, save for some incidents of graffiti in University City calling for a ‘free Gaza.’ Police, who helped quell the tempers of frustrated drivers stuck in traffic, said no arrests were made as a result of the march.” link

Antisemitic content on Facebook up by 193% since October 7 - CyberWell
Speaking at the Jerusalem Post Conference 'The Second Front,' Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, founder and CEO of CyberWell, warned of a surge in hatred against Jews on social media platforms. By ALAN ROSENBAUM DECEMBER 5, 2023 02:05 Speaking at the Jerusalem Post Second Front Conference, Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, founder and CEO of CyberWell, stated that since the Hamas attack on October 7, online antisemitism has surged by 86%, adding that one of the largest increases has been on Facebook, which recorded a 193% increase in content deemed likely to be antisemitic. “There is a clear surge not only in online antisemitism but in calls to violence against Jews – specifically in Arabic, where there was an increase from a very small percentage to over 26% of the data: clear outward violence and justifying the killing of Jews online,” she said in her interview with Tamar Uriel-Beeri, managing editor of Jpost.com. The data is taken from a report prepared by Cyberwell, which is the first open database of online antisemitism using open-source intelligence techniques to track online antisemitism in real-time across the major social media platforms. Social media unprepared Cohen Montemayor stated that the social media platforms were unprepared for Hamas’s hijacking of social media for use as psychological warfare against Israel. “Hamas extrapolated on the ISIS tactic of using digital to video," she said. "There was a live stream of the kidnapping and murder of a family on Facebook, videos of women being dragged through the streets of Gaza after being raped, a live lynching that was posted on Twitter – these are things that are extremely violent but really should give us pause. "They are national security issues. Other terror organizations saw what Hamas did, in abusing the lack of readiness on the social media platforms to automatically remove this content, and now are abusing it as well.” Since its launch in May 2022, CyberWell has been working with content moderation teams and policy teams at Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to drive enforcement of improvement of their digital policies. Cohen Montemayor cautioned viewers to always verify any information posted on social media via other news sources, pointing out that all social media platforms create an echo chamber of reinforced bias. link

House Republicans Grill Harvard President over Anti-Semitsim, Pro-Hamas Protests on Campus
Frank Bergman December 5, 2023 - 4:32 pm Harvard University President Dr. Claudine Gay faced a brutal grilling from House Republicans during a congressional hearing on Tuesday. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) dropped the hammer on Gay during a House committee hearing on the rise of anti-Semitism on college campuses. Stefanik and her GOP colleagues challenged the Ivy League school’s leader for answers regarding students chanting for death and violence against Jews and Israel. “Harvard students calling for the mass murder of African-Americans is not protected free speech at Harvard, correct?” Stefanik asked, leading to her point. Stefanik demanded that Gay respond to the “yes or no question.” The number three House Republican then asked the Harvard president if she was familiar with the term “intifada.” Stefanik cited multiple instances of Harvard students chanting, “There is only one solution. Intifada, Revolution,” and “Globalize the intifada.” The examples occurred since Hamas terrorists launched the October 7 massacre and Israel’s counteroffensive in Gaza that followed. “The use of the term intifada in the context of the Israeli-Arab conflict is indeed a call for violent armed resistance against the state of Israel, including violence against, civilians and the genocide of Jews,” Stefanik stated. Gay admitted she had heard the term before and said, “That type of hateful speech is personally abhorrent to me.” The Harvard chief admitted that the chants calling for an intifada are a call for genocide against the Jewish people in Israel and globally. However, she contended that such speech was “at odds with the values of Harvard.” When pressed by Stefanik if those sorts of remarks were against Harvard University’s code of conduct, Gay deflected. “We embrace a commitment to free expression, even of views that are objectionable, offensive, hateful. It’s when that speech crosses into conduct that violates our policies against bullying, harassment, and intimidation” Gay said before Stefanik interjected. “Does that speech not cross that barrier?” Stefanik pressed. “Does that speech not call for the genocide of Jews and the elimination of Israel? “When you testify that you understand that is the definition of intifada, is that speech according to the code of conduct or not?” “We embrace a commitment to free expression and give a wide berth to free expression, even of views that are objectionable, outrageous, and offensive,” Gay said in response. Stefanik cited a report stating that Harvard ranked “dead last” when it comes to freedom of speech on college campuses in America. “Will admissions officers be rescinded or any disciplinary action be taken against students or applicants who say, ‘From the river to the sea,’ or ‘intifada,’ advocating for the murder of Jews?” Stefanik pressed. Gay responded by stating: “As I’ve said, that type of hateful, reckless offensive speech is personally abhorrent to me.” Stefanik refused to back down, however, and demanded to know what action will be taken, specifically against “students who are harassing and calling for the genocide of Jews on Harvard’s campus?” Gay claimed that she could not go into details of any ongoing actions due to privacy concerns. Unable to get an answer from Gay on specific actions taken against students accused of anti-Semitism, Stefanik concluded by asking what the number one hate crime in America is. “I know that over the last couple of months, there has been an alarming rise of anti-Semitism, which I understand is the critical topic that we are here to discuss,” Gay said. “That’s correct,” Stefanik responded. “It is anti-Jewish hate crimes. “And Harvard ranks the lowest when it comes to protecting Jewish students. “This is why I’ve for your resignation and your testimony today, not being able to answer with more clarity speaks volumes.” At their press conference earlier Tuesday, the House Republican Conference heard from multiple students from Harvard, UPenn, and MIT before the hearing. Harvard student Jonathan Frieden said, “Mulitple times a week on my way to class, I walk by mobs of people chanting ‘From the river to the sea’…I talk to my Jewish friends on campus every day. “They tell me how afraid they are to go to class…” “President Gay’s willingness to call chants of ‘Intifada’ and other hateful anti-Semitic speech ‘abhorrent’ is reassuring, but the next step is action,” another student, Charlie Covit, who leads the Israel on Campus Coalition, said. “When students are saying ‘from the river to the sea Palestine will be Arab’ and clearly calling for violence against Jewish communities – and even interrupting classes to do so – we need to hear Harvard clearly state how it will discipline those who are voicing these hateful views.” Video at link

Presidents of Harvard, MIT and Penn Tell Congress that Calling for the Genocide of Jews Does Not Necessarily Violate their Campus Code of Conduct – Unless It Leads to Actual Genocide (VIDEO)
By Jim Hoft Dec. 5, 2023 7:40 pm Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and Harvard Dean Claudine Gay On Tuesday the House Education Committee invited the leaders of MIT, Harvard, and Penn to testify in front of Congress. During their testimony Rep. Elise Stefanik asked the educators if calling for the genocide of Jews violates the code of conduct on their campuses. Not one of the campus leaders could answer the question. Presidents of the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, and MIT smilingly say that calling for genocide of Jews isn’t necessarily against their code against harassment and bullying on campus. MIT dean Liz Magill suggested it was not a violation unless it led to actual genocide. Wow! It’s open season on Jews at these American universities! These smug elitists can’t even defend young Jewish students living in fear on campus. rumble.com/v3zt7v5-under-oath...-presidents-of-harvard-mit-and-penn-its-ok-to-call-for-genocid.htmlThese are sick, sick individuals. link

Rep. Thomas Massie Posts Antisemitic Meme Claiming Congress Chooses ‘Zionism’ over ‘American Patriotism’
JOEL B. POLLAK 5 Dec 2023 Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) posted an antisemitic meme on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday, claiming that “Congress these days” had rejected “American Patriotism” in favor of “Zionism.” The meme, which borrows images from the video for “Hotline Bling” by Drake, is commonly used to mock hypocrisy. The idea that “Zionism” and “American Patriotism” are contradictory is a common theme on the antisemitic far-right. Zionism is the belief that the Jewish people have the right to a state in their historic and spiritual homeland of Israel. Since the late 19th century, antisemites have used the idea of “Zion” to suggest Jewish control and manipulation of world governments. That, for example, is the theme of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an antisemitic forgery distributed by the Russian imperial state that spread throughout Europe before the Nazi era, and which remains widely distributed in the Arab world today. American leaders throughout history have supported the idea of a Jewish state, going back to President John Adams, who was an ardent “restorationist,” believing that a Jewish republic should emerge in the Middle East. Many Americans today support the modern State of Israel. Massie posted the meme as the House was holding hearings about antisemitism on college campuses, which has flared since the Palestinian terror group Hamas carried out a devastating terror attack against Israel on October 7 that killed 1,200 people. Massie has been under attack from pro-Israel groups after voting against funding for Israel, ostensibly on budgetary and foreign policy grounds. He appears to have taken that argument to a completely different place with his antisemitic post. link
