In recent years, the World Economic Forum (WEF) has massively expanded its influence over governments worldwide, including the United States.
WEF founder and chairman Klaus Schwab openly gloats that he has installed his so-called “Young Global Leaders” in the cabinets of major Western nations, including the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, and New Zealand, among others.
By seemingly taking a page out of George Soros’ playbook, the WEF extended this agenda by infiltrating local governments.
WEF-allied operatives are now in powerful and effective positions as powerful state and city officials.
This slow-walked power-grab has enabled the WEF to make significant gains in ushering in a key element of Schwab’s “Great Reset” agenda – “C40 Cities.”
The C40 Leadership group held a major meeting on September 25th in Honolulu, Hawaii.
According to its website:
“C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group is a group of 96 cities represented by mayors around the world representing one-twelfth of the world’s population and one-quarter of the global economy focused on fighting the climate crisis and driving urban action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.”
The group is quietly plowing in the seeds of the WEF’s Agenda 2030 planning with the aid of Silicon Valley toward “equity” and digitization of the workplace, and exponential growth of a cloud-based government.
Maui has been ground zero for smart city transformation for a long time by the State of Hawaii, according to the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
NEDO is Japan’s largest public management organization promoting research and development as well as the deployment of industrial, energy, and environmental technologies.
“The Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative (HCEI) was launched in the State of Hawaii in 2008 and the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) was formalized in 2009,” the website notes.
“The RPS target was set to 15% by 2015, 25% by 2020 and 40% by 2030.
“Later, the bill, House Bill 623 (HB623) set a more ambitious goal of 30% RPS by 2020, 70% by 2040, and 100% by 2045.”
Between 2011 and 2016, NEDO headed a smart community project called JUMPSmartMaui (JSM) held on the island of Maui, Hawaii, U.S.
A smart community was constructed by Hawaiian and Japanese stakeholders.
NEDO explains: “Smart community is a social system that integrates advanced environmental and energy technologies and provides citizens belonging to the community with sustainable, safe and secure society.”

Meanwhile, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with its notorious record of environmental sabotage is cleaning the crime scene, according to KITV4.
Right now, federal, state, and local officials remain in Phase 1 of the cleanup process following the fire devastation.
Nine teams with the EPA have been assigned by The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to search, remove, and dispose of hazardous materials found in structures impacted by the fires.
The EPA will work to clear the remaining residential parcels in the coming weeks.
Officials say the 144 commercial parcels identified by the EPA will take longer to clear out.
The EPA has already completed work in Kula and removed hazardous waste from 681 properties in total.
Work continues now in Lahaina and Olinda, Maui.
The EPA still needs to search 711 residential properties in Lahaina and 26 in Upcountry.
It’s no secret anymore. Contracts were signed to build high-rise condos and businesses in Lahaina.
But you can’t build in a historical district.
The historical city of Lahanai stood in the way of this globalist overreach.
With Maui rebuilt as a so-called “smart city,” the islands will be viewed as a blueprint for rolling out the WEF’s C40 Cities on a larger scale.
As Slay News has previously reported, several major American cities have already been working with the WEF on this agenda.
The “C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group” (C40) is currently made up of a coalition of 14 U.S. cities.
The 14 American cities have set a “target” to comply with the WEF green agenda goals by banning meat, dairy, and private car ownership.
The C40 has established an “ambitious target” to meet the WEF’s goals by the year 2030.
To fulfill the “target,” the C40 Cities have pledged that their residents will comply with the following list of mandatory rules:
“0 kg [of] meat consumption”
“0 kg [of] dairy consumption”
“3 new clothing items per person per year”
“0 private vehicles” owned
“1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person”
Nearly 100 cities across the world make up the organization.
The American city members of C40 include:
Austin
Boston
Chicago
Houston
Los Angeles
Miami
New Orleans
New York City
Philadelphia
Phoenix
Portland
San Francisco
Washington, D.C.
Seattle
Leading the charge to usher in the WEF agenda is Phoenix, Arizona.
As Slay News reported, the Democrat Mayor of Phoenix Kate Gallego has already taken steps toward enforcing the globalist agenda of the WEF.
The mayor is moving to ban meat and dairy consumption and private car ownership in an effort to meet the radical goals of the green agenda.
Gallego, a member of C40 since 2020, now serves as “Vice Chair of the C40 Steering Committee,” which” provides strategic oversight to ensure C40’s mission and mandate are directly driven by and responsive to the needs of C40 cities.”
Their mission and mandate include a Race to Zero global campaign to reach net-zero carbon emissions in 1,000 cities worldwide and “sustainable food policies” that support “an overall increase of healthy plant-based food consumption in our cities by shifting away from unsustainable, unhealthy diets,” A.K.A. carnivorous diets.
This comes as the WEF continues to push for the public to begin consuming insect-based “foods” instead of meat products.
