I was praying about whether or not I should post JD's prophecy update this week. This was the second time he basically told people to give up on America and not bother voting. Well, I listened to the update Honoria posted earlier today from James Kaddis, and I had my answer: We're never to give up on fighting for righteousness. (It was a really good update. I urge you to listen to it.) I'm not posting JD's latest update and to be honest, don't know if I'm going to bother with any more of his prophecy updates. I've lost a lot of respect for him.

Sometimes people go beyond what God has called them to do and venture into areas that just aren't their forte. Case in point, Amir Tsarfati does a great job of reporting the news, but he's not a Bible teacher, although he thinks he is - he's taught some seriously wrong doctrine. Similarly, JD Farag does well on teaching Scripture, but needs to stay out of the political scene, as he seems to be incapable of reconciling the fact that although we're to be looking for the rapture, at the same we're to occupy as long as we're still here and continue to fight against unrighteousness in any way possible - and that includes voting.
JD did a terrible update a few weeks ago, and actually told people not to even bother voting, but after he was back to his more reasonable self the following week I thought that was a one-time aberration, but no, the week after that he was back to preaching nonsense. (I noticed he speaks harshly about President Trump, but never suggested praying for him!) If he chooses to stay out of the political scene himself that's fine - it's his own choice - but to tell people to give up on their nation is just plain WRONG.
Amir posted this on his Telegram: "I’m not sure why so many people are asking me if Netanyahu and Trump are globalists and into the great reset. Let me be very clear - the reason why both are persecuted by the Deep State and the progressive liberal left is because they are exactly the opposite!"
I sent him a PM and informed him that the reason behind those questions was that many people follow both him and JD, and that's what JD has been teaching! I gave him the links so he can listen for himself. His response was, "I'm not surprised, but it's sad." I don't know what's going on - he and JD used to be good friends, with him speaking at Calvary Chapel Kaneohe whenever he was in Hawaii, but they seem to have cut off all ties: Amir no longer speaks at JD's church (He'll be in Honolulu again in the next few weeks), they've done no shared interviews in months, and I realized that JD also hasn't been on Jan Markell's program in quite a while, whereas he used to be a frequent guest. I don't know what's going on, but you might want to pray for JD, as he's having some serious issues.
After much thought and prayer I've decided that - since TRUTH is so important on this board and wrong doctrine and teaching is not permitted but rather is exposed, prophecy updates from JD Farag not be posted until they've been reviewed for content. - Admin.

JD is really going off the rails. At one time he had the best prophecy updates out of them all, but it's been quite a while since he did an actual "prophecy update." After an absence of a few weeks to take care of his wife he's back, and his latest "update" is pretty much a political rant: It's all theater, voting is useless, Obama and Trump are on the same side, etc. The entire message was messed up and confusing.
If you want to listen to his ranting, please do so at his own website - his prophecy updates (such as they are) are banned here. I'll keep an eye on him, and maybe he'll get back to his old self in which case his updates will be permitted again, but I somehow doubt he will. - Admin.

OK, I thought I'd give JD another chance and started to listen to this week's update. I couldn't stand more than a few minutes before I had to shut him off; he's becoming totally unhinged. A friend did listen to the entire thing and told me he said Trump is Satan.
He's entitled to his opinion, but we're told to occupy until Jesus comes, not just give up on trying to make the world better until then - we're to fight for righteousness.
So...JD Farag's prophecy updates are permanently banned from here. Aside from what we can see from his updates, there's no doubt a good reason that all those who used to feature him regularly on their programs and prophecy updates (like Jan Markell, Amir Tsarfati, Barry Stagner, etc.) no longer have anything to do with him.
Sadly, he lost any remaining credibility when he proclaimed that the rapture would be on or before September 25 of last year.
Pray for him if you feel so led.

Well, I listened to JD to see what he had to say today. He's still promoting the idea that all government is theater, it's all fixed, no sense in caring about it or voting...
That's contrary to what the Bible teaches. Never are we told to roll over and die and let the wicked prevail; we're supposed to stand up for righteousness, and be salt and light until that trumpet sounds and the Lord takes us home.
So...the ban on JD's prophecy updates stands; he's in serious need of prayer.

OK, strike three.... In today's prophecy update it was more of the same: they're all globalists no matter what party they're from.
So, JD reinforces his belief there's no point in voting or fighting against unrighteousness, just wait for the rapture. He also mentioned he didn't go to seminary, which says a lot. I wonder what Bible training he does have?

I've been monitoring JD's prophecy updates to see if I should continue the ban; I don't want to be unfair. Last week's update was pretty reasonable, but this week he went totally off the rails. To his way of thinking, if you're a patriot who loves America you're a Christian Nationalist and NAR and alsoare somehow betraying the Lord! He's conflating the two, even though they're totally different. The NAR is a heretical movement that believes there are apostles and prophets today, and Jesus can't return until Christians take over the government and other spheres of influence in the world - i.e., "The Seven Mountain Mandate." Christian Nationalists simply believe that our rights come from God, not from government.
I guess we're supposed to just give up and let the wicked Deep State take over the country and let the drag queens and other perverts corrupt our kids while we sit on a mountaintop and wait for the rapture! Don't fight back - just roll over and let evil prevail! 😡 I got so angry at what he was saying I couldn't stand it anymore - I turned him off after about 15 minutes.
The last time JD was invited to a prophecy conference was in 2019, and whereas he used to be a regular on Jan Markell's radio program, he hasn't been invited to be a guest since 2020. Add to that his falling away with Amir Tsarfati, and I don't believe we'll be seeing any more of him apart from YouTube, Facebook, and his own website.
As for me, I'm done with him and the ban on posting his prophecy updates here stands - he's become totally unstable. I don't know - maybe his wife's having cancer is affecting him adversely. Please pray for him if you feel so led.

I thought I'd give a listen to one last prophecy update from JD before deciding to prohibit them from being posted here, and all I can say is, this week's update was beyond bizarre. As it happened, when I went to his website to see if it was up yet the live programming was about to start, so what I saw was the live feed.
First thing I noticed was something in his demeanor has changed...there was a sort of defensiveness, or maybe even hostility. He mentioned prophecy conferences, then said in a disgusted tone that he shouldn't have brought that up; he'll never go to one. (That just reinforced my opinion that there was a falling out of some sort between him and others, including Jan Markell and Amir Tsarfati.)
He's totally bought into the eclipse sensationalism, finding meaning in the names of towns and cities it's going to pass over (then he repeated "PASSOVER!") as well as finding prophetic meaning in the number of towns and cities that have particular biblical names - so basically, he's gotten as nutty as the Rapture Cultists. At first he said that he's NOT saying the rapture is on April 8, then at least twice more he proclaimed that the rapture IS on April 8. He then said that in the last days the sun would turn dark and the moon into blood...but that's not speaking of a normal eclipse, and as I keep reminding you, the only blood moon that has prophetic significance takes place after the tribulation begins, and it's supernatural in nature. The many so-called "blood moons" we've been seeing that are putting people into a frenzy are just normal, natural occurrences that happen on a set schedule. (Again, I urge you to listen to Lee Brainerd's well-balanced message about the eclipse and other "signs in the sky;" it's pinned in the Apostasy & False Teachers forum.)
Here's where things got really bizarre...
As JD was speaking, a woman in the congregation started yelling and screaming. At first JD just looked up and continued to talk as you heard in the background some men trying to calm her down, then he began laughing. After a brief time JD got up and joined the men, and you could hear him commanding the demon to leave her. Two things I noticed: JD her by name - Tracy. So, if she was a member of the congregation and known to them, I would assume she's a Christian and thus can't be demon possessed. Also, JD seemed to be very amused by the entire episode and didn't seem the least bit surprised when the woman's outburst began. No, I wouldn't expect a Christian to be afraid of a demon, but his attitude seemed to be - at least in my opinion - way too nonchalant.
The live feed was halted for a time, then after a few minutes JD calmly returned to his pulpit as if not nothing had happened, but he did go on to say in what I perceived to be a self-congratulatory tone that the fact a demon was upset about his message proved that it was true, and that it also showed that God approved of what he was saying!
I did go back to listen to the entire thing a second time to make certain I heard what I thought I did (including the no rapture/rapture thing), and the portion with the screaming woman has been edited out. Had I not listened live I wouldn't have known about it.
Looking at this from both a psychological and also theological perspective (I have a master's in each of those fields), something has changed in JD, and he's gone off the track. As he himself would put it (and, in fact, he used this exact phrase in this message), "His cheese done slid off his cracker."
Did Tracy, the woman in the congregation, really have a demon, or was it all a show put on to attempt to validate JD's message? To be honest, I have no idea. Jesus warned of deception in the last days four times as much as He did anything else, and we're seeing deception everywhere - the whole Kate Middleton/Royal Family drama is a great example, with photos and videos put out by Kensington Palace being proven to be Photoshopped or AI generated. It's hard to tell what's real and what isn't anymore.
There are far better, well-trained, doctrinally sound prophecy teachers out there (Andy Woods, Lee Brainerd, James Kaddis, Don Stewart, Billy Crone to name a few); forget about JD and watch them instead, but do pray for him.
So, that's it - no more JD Farag prophecy updates may be posted here.

I found that someone did record the entire live broadcast and made a YouTube video of the deleted portion, which you can see below - I have it set to start at the moment of the outburst. I listened to it very carefully and this time I didn't hear the woman referred to as Tracy, but I know for certain I heard it the first time - it's one of those things that makes an impression on you.

Well, this was interesting! Out of curiosity I went over the JD Farag's website to see what he had to say about President Trump. He's still on hiatus, but to my surprise I found an announcement saying that his church was disassociating itself with Calvary Chapel, and from now on they'd be known only as "Calvary Kaneohe." I can't help but wonder who made the decision - did Calvary Chapel discipline him for his recent date setting and anti-politics rants and give him a warning/ultimatum to stop, or was it his choice? When I lived in Hawaii a local CC was booted out of the denomination, so I know it's something the Calvary Chapel leadership does. Every CC pastor I listen to (Stagner, Reed, Hibbs, etc.) is big on continuing to fight for righteousness and get involved in politics as long as we're still here, and all are dead set against specific date setting, so I wouldn't be surprised if the leadership had a problem with JD, since he's really been going off the deep end. There's also the fact that Amir Tsarfati, Jack Hibbs, Jan Markell and others have had nothing to do with him since about the time the scamdemic began - a time frame he also references in his letter below - so something is going on. In any case, please pray for him, as he does seem to have a heart for the Lord...but the ban on his prophecy updates stands.
If you're interested, here's the announcement:
Personal message from Pastor JD concerning our disaffiliation from Calvary Chapel:
Aloha Brothers and Sisters in Christ, As many of you know, on Sunday April 21st, 2024, I announced that the Board of Directors adopted a resolution on March 17th, 2024, to disaffiliate from Calvary Chapel, and out of respect, we subsequently removed the “Calvary Chapel Kaneohe” sign from the exterior of our building shortly after. This weighty decision was bathed in much weeping, praying and fasting by the Board of Directors, Pastors, and staff for well-nigh 4-years now commencing in 2020, with Covid-19 and the so-called "vaccine". Sadly, we came to the heartbreaking realization that we were no longer walking together in agreement, (Amos 3:3). While we’ve disaffiliated from Calvary Chapel, we’re still committed to Pastor Chuck Smith's "original" Calvary Chapel Distinctives and will continue to abide by them, as in every respect we still function as a Calvary Chapel, though no longer affiliated with Calvary Chapel. So-much-so that we’ll continue to offer Pastor Chuck’s book, “The Calvary Chapel Distinctives” to anyone at no cost, as we always have for many years. There will be absolutely no changes with the exception of our name, which will now simply be, “Calvary Kaneohe”. This after seeking the multitude of counsel (Proverbs 11:14), so as to maintain transparency and remain above reproach, which we have, by God’s grace, for 20-years, since I first planted this church in 2004. It’s of paramount importance to understand that there is no ill will towards Calvary Chapel, any Calvary Chapel Pastors or affiliated ministries, rather, we deemed it prudent to officially and legally disaffiliate in a God honoring way so as to not cause any further and unnecessary consternation or division, specific to our “controversial” Bible Prophecy Updates, which we’ve done weekly, for about 18-years, since back in 2006. We remain committed to, and will continue with, simply teaching the Bible simply, book-by-book, chapter- by-chapter and verse-by-verse as Pastor Chuck always taught us to. Furthermore, we are most compelled and even constrained to always preach only the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and teach Bible prophecy in this, the last hour, so as to get Jesus to people and people to Jesus; as many as we can, and as quickly as we can. Please know that we cannot thank you all enough for your overwhelming love and kindness to us in this regard. We continue to receive words of encouragement, which are numerous and voluminous, and for which we are most grateful to the many who are taking the time to email, write, and or post your unwavering support of, and steadfast agreement with, this most difficult decision. We appreciate your patience with us, and covet your prayers for us, moving forward as we navigate this unchartered territory, especially for myself, as the privileged pastor of this most amazing and loving church, both locally and internationally. I've been with Calvary Chapel for over 42-years now, since back in 1982, and have planted and pastored two Calvary Chapels in 25-years of those 42-years, beginning back in 1999. Lastly, and very importantly, our disaffiliation from Calvary Chapel is not synonymous with my disassociation from Calvary Chapel pastors, as I personally have many dear friends who are Calvary Chapel pastors, from whom I receive godly counsel, and to whom I am also accountable, and with whom I am still in fellowship. Until,
