One of the heresies of "Pastor" Patrick (Hourly Watch)

There are a lot of problems with this guy that go beyond his date-setting, numerology, and quasi-astrology. Since his last failed prediction he's become strangely silent, and he finally came up with a new video in which he denies the reality of the biblical doctrine of eternal security (i.e., "once saved, always saved.")
Jesus' last words on the cross were "It is FINISHED!" - the Greek word is teleō, and it means that the debt has been paid IN FULL. To claim that Jesus' sacrifice was insufficient to cancel all of someone's sins is heresy, and to believe that one must add their own efforts to Jesus' completed work is not only a slap in His face, it's outright, damnable heresy. Patrick - and those who follow the demonic doctrine that one who is genuinely saved can lose their salvation - are lost, as they're following a false gospel of works-based salvation. Patrick thinks he'll be in heaven with his deceased wife, but unless he repents and follows the true gospel, he'll never see her again. Unfortunately, his devoted followers who believe him will be damned as well - and their blood will be on his hands! (Incredibly, almost 2,000 people have watched this latest video of his in just the THREE HOURS since he uploaded it!!!!)
Before you see his heretical video, let me give you the truth as presented in the Bible:
When people come to know Jesus as their Savior, they are brought into a relationship with God that guarantees their salvation as eternally secure. To be clear, salvation is more than saying a prayer or “making a decision” for Christ; salvation is a sovereign act of God whereby an unregenerate sinner is washed, renewed, and born again by the Holy Spirit (John 3:3; Titus 3:5). When salvation occurs, God gives the forgiven sinner a new heart and puts a new spirit within him (Ezekiel 36:26). The Spirit will cause the saved person to walk in obedience to God’s Word (Ezekiel 36:26–27; James 2:26). Numerous passages of Scripture declare the fact that, as an act of God, salvation is secure:
(a) Romans 8:30 declares, "And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified." This verse tells us that from the moment God chooses us, it is as if we are glorified in His presence in heaven. There is nothing that can prevent a believer from one day being glorified because God has already purposed it in heaven. Once a person is justified, his salvation is guaranteed—he is as secure as if he is already glorified in heaven.
(b) Paul asks two crucial questions in Romans 8:33-34 "Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? No one will, because Christ is our advocate. Who will condemn us? No one will, because Christ, the One who died for us, is the one who condemns. We have both the advocate and judge as our Savior.
(c) Believers are born again (regenerated) when they believe (John 3:3; Titus 3:5). For a Christian to lose his salvation, he would have to be un-regenerated. The Bible gives no evidence that the new birth can be taken away.
(d) The Holy Spirit indwells all believers (John 14:17; Romans 8:9) and baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13). For a believer to become unsaved, he would have to be "un-indwelt" and detached from the Body of Christ.
(e) John 3:15 states that whoever believes in Jesus Christ will "have eternal life." If you believe in Christ today and have eternal life, but lose it tomorrow, then it was never "eternal" at all. Hence, if you lose your salvation, the promises of eternal life in the Bible would be in error.
(f) In a conclusive argument, Scripture says, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38–39). Remember the same God who saved you is the same God who will keep you. Once we are saved, we are always saved. Our salvation is most definitely eternally secure!
Until I became an adult, read the Bible, and became born again, I was Catholic. What a horrible way to live, believing that when you died, at best you would spend an undetermined number of years (decades? hundreds? thousands?) in a fictitious place called Purgatory, where you would have to suffer to pay the penalty for your venial (minor) sins; at worst, if your sins were "bad enough" (i.e., mortal sins) and you died before you went to confession and a priest forgave your sins (which is totally unbiblical) you faced an eternity in hell. In reality all sin - no matter how small - is so abhorrent to a righteous and holy God that it's enough to condemn one to the Lake of Fire forever.
OK, let's take a look at this heretic's latest abomination. He claims that we're saved by grace through faith, but if you "lose" your faith you won't be saved. Clearly, he doesn't understand Scripture, is taking verses out of context, and is twisting Scripture - he's conflating truth and lies, and is totally ignorant of 1 John 2:19: "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us," which totally refutes much of what he's saying.
Sadly, many who follow him will believe his nonsense. He calls himself "pastor;" I'd love to know what his qualifications are, as his hermeneutics are horrible, to say the least!
OSAS Doesn't Carry the Cross! Or Fear God.
Some of the comments: (To be fair, there are some people who refuted him, but many have no idea of what OSAS actually means; they don't understand that those who turn from the faith were never saved to begin with.)
It does say that ones name can be blotted out of the lambs book of life! That's someone that was saved but got cancelled!
***
The worst and most sad thing I've heard from OSAS-believers is that when there is a person who has clearly lived as a christian in the past and now is sinning for everyone to see and living obviously against God's will, he has never actually been saved. I think OSAS says that because it doesn't fit their narrative so they deny these former christians their faith and say they've never truly believed. Otherwise it would proof that you indeed can turn away from the Lord.
"...For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Sam. 16:7 (so no one can tell from the outward appearance whether someone has been saved or not)
***
It’s a covenant relationship. I was backslidden for 15 years before coming back as a prodigal in December 2020. I didn’t lose my salvation - I walked away from it. Jesus said no one can pluck us out of the Father‘s hands. BUT we can walk away if we CHOOSE to. Just like in marriage it’s till death do you part but if you get divorced, that means you’re not together anymore.
***
She's got it right, as do a few others:
By saying OSAS is false is saying that JESUS sacrifice was not perfect and that goes directly against GOD. JESUS blood sacrifice covered our past, present and future sins. Yes we fail and while we are flesh we still will mess up and sin, that is why JESUS sacrificed his perfect self for us. Therefore we are in constant daily scripture studies and prayer for forgiveness. After being born again we still make daily choices that will effect our heavenly rewards.
***
I agree 100 % with you brother. We have to fight the battle everyday and repent of our sins constantly because we are sinners by nature. Even when we don't want to sin we still do it. I know that because when I was a teenager I gave my heart to the Lord and served him with all my heart but later on I left the church and started practicing things I knew were a sin before God's eyes. And I kept getting far away from God. Until one day I had a tragedy in my family and the Lord showed me that could have been me because I was walking next to that person. God really spared my life that day. I cameback to the Lord and repented from leaving him and sinning against him. I know serve my God Almighty Jehova, Jesus and Holy Spirit. It is only by his mercy that I'm still alive. But I understand exactly what you said and yes the Bible teaches that we need to retain what we have so no one else take our crown. God bless you my brother in Christ and keep standing firm in the truth Jesus Christ our Lord.
***
Once you confess, you are convicted by the spirit when you sin, and then there is also the fact that, you are imperfect and you can't be plucked out of his hand. You have to CHOOSE to leave Christ, so, once saved always saved to me rings true during the dispensation of grace, I don't know anyone who decided that Jesus wasn't the way. And I disagree with this.
***
Read Roman’s like 5-7 times please we were made subject to vanity. These fallen nature bodies will never be willing. There is NONE good no not one. To say otherwise is to place the cross of Christ in vain you therefore become an enemy of the Cross. We glory in his cross
***
"Eternal" means just that. The BLOOD of Jesus that was shed on the CROSS was a New "Blood" Covenant between God and His Son, out of PURE LOVE for us sinners, as payment for the SIN of the world. The resurrection of Christ symbolizes the FREE GIFT of ETERNAL SALVATION for those that BELIEVE in the FINISHED WORK of our Lord and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST for their REDEMPTION. God SAID that we are washed CLEAN and our SINS are remembered NO MORE! ❤ It would NOT be possible to be "reconciled" with God and call Him Abba, Father! No one with SIN can stand in His presence! Once "ADOPTED" it is against Jewish law to be disowned! That's why Jesus is the ONLY BEGOTTEN one! The GOSPEL is the good news of our Creator God's MERCY, FORGIVENESS & GRACE. HE IS WORTHY OF ALL THE PRAISE AND GLORY? No HUMAN can claim an ounce of credit All that is required of us is FAITH in the WORD of GOD!
***
I agree, brother. I haven't been able to find OSAS in God's word either, but quite the opposite. People preach OSAS to me all the time, but no one has ever provided sufficient evidence for it. I'm not smarter than anyone else, but I simply pray for wisdom and discernment. And I have asked the Lord numerous times what is the truth regarding OSAS, and I still discern that OSAS is bogus.
***
OSAS is a catch phrase, like one of the chants you hear at a sports game or some slogan a politician might use as a rallying cry to get people to join his side. And that makes me suspicious in itself because that is not the way the Bible should be treated. We need to read the whole word and contemplated and meditate on it. Come to a deeper understanding of what God is wanting from us in this relationship we have with Him. I even heard one of the OSAS watchmen say that you don’t have to repent after you’ve accepted Jesus as your savior. I can’t understand what’s going on in these peoples lives that they have to tell themselves such things. But I do believe they need prayer. Perhaps they have just grown complacent, and don’t understand that we have to do spiritual warfare, for ourselves, as well as those around us.
***
Thank you Pastor! I was raised in Assemblies of God which doesn’t teach OSAS and this message today with the list of scriptures showed me which channels I needed to unfollow and I dropped them all. 1 Timothy 4:1 is as clear as it gets. God bless you for preaching the whole Word the whole Gospel not just the part. See you soon in the clouds at the Rapture. You’re going to see a harvest of souls accounted to your ministry for Jesus by preaching the whole truth.

1000% Pastor Patrick. The main point is the thing called CHOICE. Humans were given the freedom to choose the Lord or not choose the Lord. Or we would all be robots with the inability to change our futures.

I know the word of God says we are saved until the day of redemption, but keep in mind in Revelations (sic), Jesus speaks to 7 different churches and only ONE (Philadelphia) is promised to be kept out of the hour of trial that will come upon the whole world (Tribulation) why are the rest left behind? Aren't they belivers too??

Amen! There are so many verses (expeciaTlly in Paul's letters) that express that you can indeed depart from faith. I've never understood OSAS because even if the bible would not say anything about OSAS or no OSAS, we still have a free will. And with that free will we can decide to follow Jesus or to not follow him. Even if we came to the Lord in the past, he is never going to force us to stay in a relationship with him. That is NOT his character. Free will means we also have the free will to leave.
Plus, I found it very concerning that some brothers were mocking the NDA's of fellow christian believers who saw former pastors in hell. Which also contradicts to OSAS. These testimonies are nothing to mock about but to pray over and search in the word for answers.
I would not be so consistent otherwise but when it is a matter of SALVATION (or in this case staying saved) there is no room for debating. This is about saving souls from hell and therefore very serious!
