3 BEST SUMMER DESSERT COBBLERS (Peach, Oreo, and Banana)
Easy Peach Cobbler
Ingredients
2 (29oz) cans peach halves in heavy syrup
5 TBS salted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp vanilla extract
Crumble Topping
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Pour 1 can of peaches with heavy syrup into prepared baking dish. Drain out heavy syrup from 2nd can of peaches and add the peaches to the baking dish.
Add 5 TBS melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tsp lemon juice, and 2 tsp vanilla extract to the peaches in baking dish.
NOTE: if using unsalted butter, you can add in a pinch of salt.
Mix well until combined and peaches are all coated. Flip peaches until rounded side of halved peaches are facing down.
In a large whisk together 2 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
Pour 1 cup melted butter into the flour mixture in large bowl and mix together with a fork until all combined and forms a crumb mixture.
Spoon crumb mixture on each of the peach halves to form a mound on top of each one. Sprinkle remaining mixture all on top.
Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Lower temperature of oven to 375 degrees. Bake cobbler an additional 45 minutes to 1 hour.
(Keep an eye on it around the 35 minute time. Some ovens run hotter than others.)
Remove from oven, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or 2. Enjoy.

Oreo Cobbler
Ingredients
5 TBS butter
20 original Oreo cookies, broken into large pieces
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup white granulated sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups hot water
To make self-rising flour for this recipe: whisk together 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 1/4 tsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 5 TBS butter around 9 x 13 baking dish. Place in oven and allow butter to melt. Remove from oven. (Keep an eye on butter, you don't want it to get brown.)
Break Oreo cookies into 4 pieces each and place all over melted butter to cover in a single layer.
In a medium mixing bowl whisk flour. Add in white granulated sugar, vanilla and milk. Stir until batter forms. (Don't over mix.)
Dollop batter all over the broken cookies in baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar over the batter. Pour hot water over the brown sugar & batter.
Bake for 35 minutes in 350 degree oven. Allow to rest on stovetop for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with ice cream or whipped topping.

Banana Cobbler
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup white granulated sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups milk
4 medium ripe bananas
1 cup pecan pieces
1 (8oz) block cream cheese
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 TBS brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) into a 9 x 13 baking dish and place into hot oven. Allow to melt for about 8-10 minutes.
In the meantime, in a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and milk.
Remove baking dish with melted butter from oven. Pour batter all over butter. DO NOT MIX TOGETHER.
Set aside.
Slice bananas and place over batter in a single layer. Top with pecan pieces to cover.
In a medium bowl place cream cheese. Heat in microwave for 10 seconds to warm up cream cheese. Stir in egg, brown sugar, and vanilla until combined. (The mixture may appear lumpy from the cream cheese, which is fine.)
Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the the batter, bananas, and nuts in baking dish.
Place back in 400 degree oven and bake for 38-45 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Serve up with ice cream, if desired.
