WHO Considers Declaring Global Public Health Emergency over Monkeypox Outbreak in Africa

The World Health Organization has revealed that the unelected United Nations agency is considering declaring a global health emergency due to an outbreak of monkeypox in Africa.



The WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus issued the warning about monkeypox, also known as mpox, in a post on X.



“But more funding and support for a comprehensive response are needed,” Tedros wrote on Sunday.



“I am considering convening an International Health Regulations emergency committee to advise me on whether the outbreak of mpox should be declared a public health emergency of international concern.”

By Tuesday, it was still unclear when the WHO would declare the emergency or issue any warnings about the virus.



A statement from Tedros published by the journal Science asserted:



“This virus can and must be contained with intensified public health measures including surveillance, community engagement, treatment and targeted deployment of vaccines for those at higher risk of infection.”


“A further scaling up of the mpox response underway in affected countries is urgently needed amid the expanding outbreak,” his statement said.



Tedros said he is demanding “more funding for a comprehensive response” from governments of sovereign nations.



He argues that the response must include plans for diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines.



A public health emergency of international concern is the strongest designation for an outbreak.


Notably, such a declaration was made for COVID-19 during the early onset of the pandemic in 2020.



Later, WHO made the designation for a monkeypox outbreak that lasted from 2022 to 2023.



Meanwhile, President Joe Biden’s administration declared an emergency over the virus.



During that outbreak, which impacted Europe and the United States, officials say monkeypox primarily spread via sexual contact between men.



The latest announcement was made as the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in a report last week that monkeypox has now been detected in 10 African countries this year.



Those nations include Congo, which has more than 96 percent of all cases and deaths.



Officials said nearly 70 percent of cases in Congo are affecting children younger than 15, who also account for 85 percent of deaths.



There have been an estimated 14,250 cases so far this year, nearly as many as all of last year, the Africa CDC said.



Compared to the first seven months of 2023, the Africa CDC said cases are up 160 percent and deaths are up 19 percent, to 456.



Burundi and Rwanda both reported the virus for the first time this week, while new outbreaks were recently reported in the Central African Republic and Kenya.



“We are very concerned about the cases of monkeypox, which is ravaging (the capital region),” the Central African Republic’s public health minister, Pierre Somse, said on Monday.



According to the U.S. CDC website, signs and symptoms of monkeypox include a rash that might be located on the feet, hands, face, chest, and mouth, or near the genitals.



The rash can form scabs and initially look like blisters or pimples, which may be itchy or painful.



Other symptoms include fever, swollen lymph nodes, chills, aches, exhaustion, and respiratory symptoms such as a cough, nasal congestion, or sore throat, according to the health agency.

CDC Issues Health Alert to Doctors Over Deadly Mpox Virus Strain

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday issued a health alert to notify clinicians and health departments about a more deadly strain of mpox, also known as monkeypox, as the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) announced he will convene an emergency meeting.



The current mpox outbreak in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has already seen around 27,000 cases and claimed more than 1,100 lives, most of them children, since the beginning of 2023.



The CDC said its alert was about the spread of a subtype of the mpox virus called Clade I from DRC to some neighboring countries. Clade I generally leads to more severe infections than another subtype called Clade II. However, the risk of Clade I infection spreading in the United States is considered to be very low, the CDC added.



The CDC said no cases of mpox have been reported outside central and eastern Africa at this time.



But, it cautioned, “because there is a risk of additional spread, CDC recommends clinicians and jurisdictions in the United States maintain a heightened index of suspicion for mpox in patients who have recently been in DRC or to any country sharing a border with DRC ... with signs and symptoms consistent with mpox.



“These can include: rash that may be located on the hands, feet, chest, face, mouth, or near the genitals; fever; chills; swollen lymph nodes; fatigue; myalgia (muscle aches and backache); headache; and respiratory symptoms like sore throat, nasal congestion, and cough,” the agency said.



Mpox has been spreading across at least 10 African nations in recent months, sparking an alarm from the WHO earlier this week about whether it could expand outside the continent.



“I have decided to convene an Emergency Committee under the International Health Regulations to advise me on whether the outbreak represents a public health emergency of international concern” in light of mpox’s spread outside of DRC, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a statement on social media platform X Wednesday.



Although he did not provide a date or timetable for a possible emergency declaration, Tedros added the “WHO committee will meet as soon as possible and will be made up of independent experts from a range of relevant disciplines from around the world.”



A public health emergency of international concern is the WHO’s highest alarm and allows the U.N. agency to use emergency responses under its international health regulations. Since 2005 to now, there have been seven such declarations, including for COVID-19 in 2020, the zika virus epidemic in 2015, a previous mpox outbreak in 2022 and 2023, and more.



A WHO emergency committee is made up of international health officials and researchers who provide technical advice and recommendations to the WHO chief about whether a disease outbreak should be declared an emergency. The final decision is made by the director general.



His comments were made as mpox has surged in the DRC owing to a more severe strain strain of the virus that is now being reported in neighboring countries in recent months. So far, it has been detected in 10 African countries in 2024, according to the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention in a recent update.



Tedros noted that the severe strain, which he called Clade Ib, has been circulating in the Congo for years. The strain that caused the global outbreak in 2022 that spread to the United States and Europe, he added, is Clade II.



“The current outbreak in the Eastern [Congo] is caused by a new offshoot of Clade I, called Clade Ib, which causes more severe disease than Clade II,” he said, adding that the 1b strain has been found in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and possibly Burundi. Cases of Clade Ia and Clade II have been found in the Central African Republic, the Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Liberia, Nigeria, and South Africa.


The strain has been spreading in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2023.

Here We Go: Pro-China World Health Organization Declares Monkeypox Outbreak a Global Health Emergency Just Months Before Presidential Election (VIDEO)

The Chinese-friendly World Health Organization announced today that a global emergency had been declared over a recent monkeypox (mpox) outbreak in Africa less than three months before Americans are scheduled to vote for president.



CNN reported that WHO convened its emergency “mpox” committee amid concerns that a deadlier strain of the virus had spread into four additional regions in Africa. More than 17,000 cases and more than 500 deaths have been reported in 13 countries in Africa since the beginning of 2024 according to the outlet.



The monkeypox outbreak had previously been contained to the Democratic Republic of Congo.



According to the outlet, independent “experts” on the committee met virtually Wednesday to advise WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to emphasize the “severity” of the situation. Following the discussion, Ghebreyesus announced that he had declared a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC), the highest level of health alarm under international law.

As CNN notes, PHEIC is a status given by WHO to “extraordinary events” that pose a public health risk to other countries through the international spread of disease. These outbreaks often require a coordinated global response.



The outlet further reports WHO previously authorized the Emergency Use Listing process for monkeypox vaccines along with a regional response plan requiring $15 million in funds. $1.45 million of these finds have already been distributed.



The current strain of monkeypox is deadlier than the previous one that entered America in 2022. Symptoms of monkeypox are quite nasty. They include a fever, a painful rash, body aches, enlarged lymph nodes, and extreme fatigue.



However, unlike COVID, monkeypox cannot be spread via the air and is nowhere near as contagious. Monkeypox spreads through close contact via kissing, touching, and sexual intercourse with someone is infectious. The virus is primarily spreading via sex and predominantly affecting gay and bisexual men like the previous strain.



Moreover, not a single case of the new variant has been located in the U.S. yet, but the CDC is requesting doctors to look out for symptoms like skin rashes and lesions. No other continent has reported infections at this point either.



It is unclear why WHO felt the need to declare a worldwide health emergency given these facts rather than one limited to African countries. No doubt this will spark a wave of speculation regarding other potential motives.

WHO to Issue Global ‘Guidance’ to Nations on Handling Monkeypox Outbreak

Globalists at the unelected World Health Organization (WHO) are preparing to issue the governments of sovereign nations with global “guidance” on handling the monkeypox outbreak.



Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the head of the United Nations “health” agency, issued the warning from the WHO’s headquarters in Switzerland.



It comes as China announced it will monitor people and goods entering the country for monkeypox for the next six months.



Meanwhile, Pakistan confirmed the first case in Asia of a new monkeypox variant, just one day after Sweden reported the first case outside Africa.



The WHO declared a public health emergency of international concern earlier this week over the upsurge of monkeypox, or “mpox” as it is now called, in Africa



After the declaration, Tedros issued a statement revealing that the WHO would be providing instructions to governments on handling the outbreak.



In his statement, Tedros said:



“The Emergency Committee is currently working on temporary recommendations, which we will issue in the coming days, to provide guidance to address the acute risk of mpox in countries affected by, or at risk of, the disease.



“In addition, I have extended for another year the standing recommendations that I issued when I declared an end to the previous mpox PHEIC last year.


“Those recommendations provide more general guidance to address the chronic risk of mpox globally.”



Tedros went on to outline that, so far this year, 15,664 cases of mpox, with 537 deaths, have been reported in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) alone.



The figure already exceeds last year’s total, which was itself a record.



Monkeypox was first discovered in humans in 1970 in what is now the DRC.


However, it has recently mutated and started to spread more rapidly as the critical 2024 election draws near.



Mpox is an infectious disease caused by a virus transmitted to humans by infected animals but can also be passed from human to human through close physical contact.



The disease causes fever, muscular aches, and large boil-like skin lesions.



The virus has previously been seen in other parts of the world outside of Africa as well.



The move by Tedros to warn the world came as the Swedish government announced the presence of the first confirmed case of a more severe mpox strain diagnosed outside of Africa.



Swedish Minister of Social Affairs Jakob Forssmed said in Stockholm:



“We have now received confirmation during the afternoon that we have a case of the more serious variant of the virus.”



He was joined by Public Health Agency director Olivia Wigzel, who confirmed:



“The case is the first caused by the virus variant that has been diagnosed outside the African continent.”

As Slay News reported, former U.S. National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn blew the whistle just last week.



He warned the American people that COVID-19 was created as a “bioweapon” that was unleashed onto the public in order to rig the 2020 election for the Democrats.



Flynn explains how Covid was a bioweapon aimed at influencing the 2020 election to prevent President Donald Trump’s re-election.



He also explains that the effort sought to alter future election systems to keep Democrats in power.



Flynn, who served as the 24th U.S. national security advisor in the Trump administration, said:



“The whole purpose of Covid was to make sure that the 2020 election was in the bag… once they did that, the real part of Covid, introduction of Covid, of the bioweapon by China, was to ensure that we could change our election system and process.”

Additionally, celebrated virology expert Dr. David Martin warned the public in June that Covid mRNA shots are, in fact, bioweapons, and not “vaccines” as they’ve been led to believe.

New Monkeypox Cases Explode in African Hot Spot

Congo reported more than 1,000 new Mpox cases in the last week up to Tuesday as African health authorities asked for desperately needed vaccines to help fight its “growing” threat on the continent. The World Health Organization has declared the outbreaks in Africa a global emergency.



Mpox belongs to the same family of viruses as smallpox, but causes milder symptoms like fever, chills and body aches, and mostly spreads through close skin-to-skin contact, including sexual intercourse. People with more serious cases can develop lesions on the face, hands, chest and genitals.



While Mpox has been reported in 12 of Africa’s 54 countries during these outbreaks, the vast central African nation of Congo has recorded by far the most cases this year. Out of a total of 18,910 cases in 2024, 94 percent — or 17,794 — were in Congo, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said, with 535 of the 541 deaths reported.



The figures are likely an underestimate, as only about one in five suspected cases in Congo are being tested for Mpox. Africa CDC director-general Dr. Jean Kaseya said many affected African countries had limited testing and surveillance capabilities.



Over the last seven days, Congo recorded 1,030 of the 1,405 new cases in Africa according to statistics provided late Tuesday by the Africa CDC. Only 16 percent of the cases have been confirmed by virus tests, but the infections meet the agency’s definition of the disease.

The rising Mpox case count in Africa and a new form of the virus identified in Congo that might be more easily transmitted led the WHO to declare it a global health emergency last week. Some hope this will encourage donors to share vaccines and other help to curtail the outbreaks in Africa before cases spread internationally as Sweden recorded a case of the new Mpox variant first seen in eastern Congo.



The WHO has previously said its past efforts to raise donations for Mpox failed to elicit even a single donor dollar.



Africa CDC’s Kaseya said that his organization had received a pledge of 215,000 Mpox vaccines from the European Union and the vaccine maker, Bavarian Nordic, which were due to arrive in the next few days. The United States’ aid agency said it had donated 50,000 other doses of the same vaccine to Congo. Japan has also donated some doses to Congo.



But Africa likely needs much more. Congo’s health minister said his country alone needed 3 million vaccine doses to end the outbreaks there, which have spilled into at least four nearby African countries.



A 2022 global Mpox outbreak in more than 70 countries was shut down in the space of months with vaccines and treatments made available in rich nations, but hardly any doses reached Africa. It had been spreading largely unnoticed for years in Nigeria and elsewhere before it sparked international concern. Since then, the virus has continued to steadily sicken people in Congo, with few effective containment efforts.



South African President Cyril Ramaphosa criticized the global response to the 2022 outbreak, calling it unfair as treatments and vaccines were made available to rich Western nations while Africa was given little support. In a statement, he urged the international community to guarantee “equitable access” to Mpox diagnostics and vaccines this time.



Ramaphosa’s comments evoked memories of Africa’s anger at largely being shut out of vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Then, Africa received doses much later than richer countries and had to pay more in some cases.



Kaseya said Mpox was now “growing and spreading” while countries waited for doses. While Congo was clearly the country causing the most concern, he said it was noticeable that cases in nearby Burundi had more than doubled to 572 in a week.



Kaseya also asked for “solidarity” from the international community in dealing with Mpox and specifically urged against any COVID-like travel bans being placed on African countries that would isolate them as the disease is not as easily transmissible.

Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg issued the warning in a new whistleblowing interview with the Austrian outlet AUF1.



He explains that reports of a monkeypox “global emergency” from the World Health Organization (WHO) are part of a fearmongering campaign designed to scare the masses.



Wodarg asserts that globalists are seeking to cover up the negative health impact of Covid shots while trying to profit from testing and treating monkeypox.



He asks why other doctors aren’t questioning why people are being diagnosed with monkeypox based on a positive Rostar test.



The Rostar test is an expensive product that pharmaceutical companies are profiting from.



Meanwhile, share prices in companies that produce monkeypox vaccines are soaring following the WHO’s recent emergency declaration.



“They’re scaring us again,” Wodarg said of the globalist medical establishment.



“It’s a business exploiting the effects of the corona shots they pushed on us.

“It shows that 1 in 450 people reported shingles after vaccination.



“According to Wodarg, the expensive PCR tests that pharmaceutical giant Roche has launched on the market to detect the monkeypox virus are not reliable.



“He argues that they are now making people afraid of diseases that are actually side effects of the corona vaccinations.



“The side effects of the Covid vaccines are being used to scare us about other conditions, the doctor stresses, who speaks of a ‘perverse industry.'”



Dr. Wodarg is not the first leading expert to raise the alarm over monkeypox, however.

FDA Admits There’s ‘Zero Scientific Evidence’ That ‘Monkeypox Virus’ Exists

Newly unsealed documents have revealed an explosive confession from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about the so-called “monkeypox virus.”



The documents were obtained by investigative reporter Christine Massey from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.



According to one document published by Massey, the FDA admits that there is “zero scientific evidence” to prove that the “monkeypox virus” even exists.



The FDA has no records authored by anyone, anywhere to support claims of the virus’s existence.



According to Massey, the FDA has no records that:



1. scientifically prove/provide evidence of the existence of any alleged “monkeypox virus”, or



2. even describe the purification of particles that are alleged to be “monkeypox virus” directly from bodily fluid/tissue/excrement of so-called “hosts”, or



3. describe the purported “genome” of any alleged “monkeypox virus” being found intact in the bodily fluid/tissue/excrement of a so-called “host” (as opposed to fabricated in silico, aka a computer model), or



4. scientifically demonstrate contagion of the illness/symptoms that are allegedly caused by purported “monkeypox viruses.”


In the documents shared by Massey, Sarah B. Kotler, the FDA’s Director of the Division of Freedom of Information, admits there are “no responsive records.”



“The FDA does not regulate or treat viruses,” Kotler wrote in the email.



“The FDA is responsible for protecting the public health by ensuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, and medical devices; and by ensuring the safety of our nation’s food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation.



“Therefore, we have no responsive records."

This is despite the fact that the FDA has just approved a new “vaccine” to “prevent monkeypox disease.”



In addition, the FDA has issued “Emergency Use Authorizations” of “in vitro diagnostics… related to monkeypox” and provided “Information for Monkeypox Test Developers.”



The confession emerged shortly after the World Health Organization declared the “monkeypox outbreak” a “public health emergency of international concern.”



Meanwhile, the share prices of monkeypox vaccine makers have been skyrocketing on the news.



This news comes amid increasing warnings about the validity of the official claims about monkeypox.

Britons set to travel to Spain in the coming weeks have been warned that the Spanish Government could soon implement extra health checks to prevent a deadly disease from spreading as it's declared a "public health emergency of international concern"



Concerns about an uptick in mpox cases across Europe are escalating following the identification of a new virus variant in Sweden.



Madrid's health bosses are on "high alert' as they recommended that the Government fortify its defences to prevent the spread of the disease.



At Barajas Airport, Spain's busiest, increased health checks are reportedly being implemented along with stringent monitoring of arrivals from African nations where the virus is rampant.



Carlos Novillo, Madrid's environmental head honcho, has urged the Ministry of Health to proactively "take preventive measures, especially in Barajas, an important airport that registers a large flow of travellers daily instead of just being reactive."

Latest figures from the WHO reveal that mpox infections have been reported in approximately 13 countries in the Americas, involving various strains this year.



Specialist John Claude Udahemuka cautioned: "It's undoubtedly the most dangerous of all the known strains of mpox, considering how it is transmitted, how it is spread, and also the symptoms."



He stressed the need for countries to prepare for the spread of the virus amid a surge of cases worldwide.



Mr Udahemuka added: "Everyone should get prepared. Everyone should be able to detect the disease as early as possible. But more importantly, everyone should support the local research and local response so that it doesn't spread".



A second individual has been confirmed to have contracted the lethal new strain of mpox outside Africa, leading the WHO to declare it a "public health emergency".



A surge in cases of the disease, formerly known as monkeypox, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and other African countries has sparked global concern.

The World Health Organization (WHO) classified mpox as a public health emergency of international concern - a classification previously used for Covid-19 and Ebola outbreaks.



To date, no cases of this new strain of mpox sweeping across Africa have been reported in the UK, but a second case has now been discovered elsewhere.



A man in Thailand tested positive this week, following an earlier diagnosis in Sweden.



Thongchai Keeratihattayakorn, Thailand's director-general of the Department of Disease Control, reported that the patient was "infected with the Clade 1b strain of monkeypox".



Mpox, previously known as monkeypox, is an infectious disease caused by a virus. It can cause flu-like symptoms including fever, muscle aches, and a skin rash or pus-filled lesions that can last two to four weeks.

A top European Union (EU) lawmaker has issued a warning to the public that “monkeypox” is the “next plandemic” to soon be unleashed.



German Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Christine Anderson has blown the whistle in an open letter to her “fellow citizens.”



Anderson argues that her warnings will be smeared as “conspiracy theories” by government officials and the corporate media.



However, she notes, as with other previous “conspiracy theories,” the warnings will soon be proved true.



The politician penned the letter in response to the World Health Organization (WHO) recently declaring that monkeypox, or “mpox,” is a “public health emergency of international concern”



However, as Anderson notes, the spread of the “outbreak” is only limited to some regions of Africa.



Anderson continues by arguing that planning for a “monkeypox pandemic” has been in the works for years.



“You probably also know that a simulation game on the topic of ‘monkeypox’ took place at the Munich Security Conference in 2021,” she writes.



She reveals that the “simulation” was led by powerful globalist entities, including the United Nations (UN), the Bill Gates-funded Wellcome Trust, and the WHO.


Anderson continues by explaining the links between the planning for monkeypox and the World Economic Forum (WEF), the EU Commission, individual governments, pharmaceutical companies, (private) donors, and foundations.



As the EU lawmaker notes, mRNA “vaccines” for monkeypox were being developed long before the “public health emergency” was declared by the WHO.

The following text contains some premium conspiracy theories on the subject of “monkeypox.”



At least that’s what those who believe in what the TV tells them would claim.



But because almost all of the old conspiracy theories have come true in the meantime, we are now getting a new supply:



As you probably know, the WHO has already issued the highest global health alert for monkeypox (Mpox) last week, although the spread is only limited to some regions of Africa.



You probably also know that a simulation game on the topic of “monkeypox” took place at the Munich Security Conference in 2021.



One of the participants was Jeremy Farrar, the then director of the billion-dollar health foundation “Wellcome Trust” (funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others).



As luck would have it, Farrar has been Chief Scientist at the WHO since last year.



At the end of 2023, BioNTech enters into a strategic partnership with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).

In May 2024, BioNTech and CEPI announced that they are expanding their portfolio for mRNA vaccines – including vaccines against Mpox.



At the same time, the monkeypox vaccine “Imvanex” from “Bavarian Nordic” is already being produced in Denmark and is the only one to be approved in both the EU and the USA.

FDA Admits Monkeypox-Vaccinated Can Kill Unvaccinated Through ‘Close Contact’

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has quietly admitted that people who are unvaccinated for monkeypox could face “serious complications,” including “death,” if they come into “close contact” with those who have been vaccinated for the virus.



The FDA approved the monkeypox vaccine (ACAM2000) for use on American citizens on August 29.



Yet, the vaccine has already been around for several years as the shot that was first developed to tackle smallpox.



It was originally approved by the FDA in 2007 but was reapproved again for use against monkeypox last month.



However, the injection carries with it a risk of serious side effects, including death.



Alarmingly, those risks are not limited to those who receive the shots as the side effects can also be suffered by unvaccinated people who have “physical contact” with the vaccinated.



In a press release on August 30, the FDA announced:



“…the FDA approved a new indication for ACAM2000 [the vaccine], to include the prevention of mpox [monkeypox] disease in individuals determined to be at high risk for mpox infection.



“ACAM2000 has been approved since 2007 for the prevention of smallpox disease in individuals determined to be at high risk for smallpox infection.


“ACAM2000 is a live replicating vaccinia virus vaccine.”



However, the FDA also quietly issued a disturbing warning about the vaccine that was buried in a notice on the federal agency’s website.



The FDA’s website’s medication guide for the vaccine lists multiple serious side effects.

Notably, the side effects of the vaccine, such as myocarditis, appear very similar to those of the Covid mRNA shots.



However, unlike the Covid injections, the FDA admits that the vaccinated are able to afflict the unvaccinated with these serious side effects through contact.

“[The vaccine] can cause serious complications in vaccinated individuals and in their close contacts to whom the vaccine virus has spread.”



The monkeypox vaccine’s package insert also details serious side effects for those who come into “contact” with the vaccinated.



It reveals that the same specific serious side effects can be spread via “shedding” to the unvaxxed.



On page 1 in the “Warnings and Precautions” section, the package insert states:



“[The vaccine] is a live vaccinia virus that can be transmitted to persons who have close contact with the vaccinee and the risks in contacts are the same as those stated for vaccinees.”



That section only admits that fetal death is a side effect.



However, the initial “Serious Complications” section of the package insert lists death as a side effect of the monkeypox vaccine.







This closer examination of the documentation reveals that the monkeypox-vaccinated can kill unvaccinated people simply through contact.



Alarmingly, these warnings are not being promoted by the FDA but are being buried on the agency’s website.
